Aarora’s divided attention had her paying attention to V’ian as he spoke to Giana. She respected any man who could at least make an effort with children, especially those not their own. V’ian had a notable sense of humour, which would suit him just fine when it came to getting along with people. In her opinion, he seemed the leader-type, though she wasn’t about to conclude that he was; she didn’t know him near well enough for that. Aarora leaned over to whisper to V’ian: “It seems like you’re doing just fine to me.” Her comment was in reply to his being “not the best with children.” You’ll be the first to know Waeith, between the two of us we shall miss nothing. Rasth intended on keeping to her word, anything to keep even a fraction of Waeith’s interest on her.
Aarora’s voice sounded relieved when he stated that the greenrider was his sister. “I’d be willing to help you find her,” she blurted out, almost forgetting that it’d do no good for her to try and help him, seeing as she wasn’t acquainted with anyone here. Oh well. She could at least try no harm in that. She was certain that she would spend some time with him, if not only to get to know him better. Her gaze swept right over Anassa before she spaced out, Rasth’s voice entering her head.
Mine, G’han will show you around the Weyr. Should she be surprised that the dragons words sounded like an order? Aarora didn’t feel at all like turning down the offer, setting it in her mind as something to look forward to. Gerenanth, I’d love nothing more than to do just that. I’ve informed Mine of the plans. Rasth revealed nothing about how Aarora felt about the plans made, for she didn’t feel it was her right to do so. The green made plans for her rider, yes, but everything beyond that she left up to the woman.
“Clearly they’d be in trouble,” she said, a twinkle in the corner of her eye. “Well G’han, good thing you’re around to keep everything in check,” she added. Throughout her comments she didn’t take her eyes off him, meeting his gaze. After a moment or two she pointed a finger to the heights, “Rasth seems to have informed me that there are some ‘plans’ awaiting me. All your doing I’d assume?” she asked him forwardly. She wasn’t at all afraid to voice what was on her mind. She reached her arm up to her fingers gently on the back of her neck.

Sakareth was led off to where he was to put down his personal effects for the time-being. He followed his guide down into the lower section of the Weyr, trying to take in every detail of the place. He wanted to know the Weyr like the back of his hand, that way he could plan out all his routes. He wasn’t really sure what he had expected the Weyr to be like, but somehow it was far better than what he’d managed to dream up. If only he’d know there’d be so many dragons about! He still could’ve sworn he was dreaming, and full well believed it too! What a day, he was going to have to get a good long rest and actually fall into a real sleep, and then wake-up, to believe where he was. He waved to all the passing drudges, quickly bowing to any noticeable dragonrider’s that passed by. He tried to keep out for any who might look like fellow Candidates; he wanted to get a jumpstart on his competition. His friends had told him that not everyone would get a dragon, but that wasn’t an option for him. He had to impress, he was basing everything on impressing, and he’d perhaps bragged about how he was going to receive a Bronze. His friends had merely rolled their eyes, and after chuckling deliriously, they each shoved him in turn before walking off. Sakareth, mostly called Seth, acted far more confident than he actually felt. He didn’t want anyone thinking him a coward, or a baby. He was 13 after all, which to him was being completely grown-up.
Once having reached their destination and being left to quickly settle-in, Seth quickly scanned the room. He made a mental note of which beds were in the most convenient places, and which were already taken, before making a logical pick. He kicked some of his things underneath the cot before turning to leave, he could get a better look around after, he didn’t want to be called on unexpectedly and not be there. He raced back down the hall, for this boy did love to run, and he was good at it. It wasn’t long before he was back in the Weyrbowl, looking to each and every person to see if they were faces he recognized upon first having arrived. When he spotted Aarora’s face amongst the crowd he stared at the woman, a gentle smile playing upon his lips at seeing she was already surrounded by three others. He hoped that he’d get to know her real well, view her like a sister even, if that was acceptable here. He wasn’t all that sure as to what was acceptable and what wasn’t.
You’d best find the current Candidate Master rather than gawking at my rider, a voice in his head said. His mouth dropped, was the green dragon that he’d ridden just speak to him? The dragon had been most certainly silent the entire way, perhaps the dragon-Rasth-had been afraid of scaring him, like she’d just done? He felt his heart beat going a mile a minute. He swallowed, nearly choking on his own saliva as it made its way on down. The dragon’s words had been affectionate sounding, and most certainly teasing, but Seth had a feeling that there was a slight bit of truth to her words. He wasn’t sure if he should answer the green, and how? He bit down on his lip a bit too hard, releasing the soft skin from between his teeth.

Wolf looked away from P’rin the moment he glanced over at her, not wanting him to see-especially now-that she’d been staring over at him and the others. “Not good, not good,” she told herself, sounding a bit delirious. She snuck a glance at Christae, wondering if the Weyrwoman suspected that her junior had gone mad.
Well as long as we’re both enjoying ourselves Kilzanth, then it must certainly be all right, Serinth concluded. She then spoke to Hers, Don’t fidget, you know it makes it seem much more obvious. Wolf’s eyes widened when she looked to the heights, was Serinth laughing at her? The amusement in the dragon’s voice had been unmistakeable. Well, if Serinth thought this situation funny, then perhaps she should just laugh it off too?
Trying to be less nervous, and more amused, like her dragon, Wolf began to chuckle. Then, remembering that she would appear as if she were chuckling at nothing, she abruptly stopped, wanting to give herself a kick in the rear. Perhaps she should ask someone else to do it for her, furthering her insanity in the eyes of everyone around her who was bothering to pay attention.

G'han grinned and shrugged. It was actually his dragon making plans for him again, but he seriously wasn't going to complain. Speaking of his dragon, his voice was incoming. Mine, I suggest you tell her this is your idea. This could end rather well for you. And by you, Gerenanth meant himself. But hey, his rider would benifit too. Right?
"What can I say? I figured you could use a guide. Who better than myself?", G'han asked her, still shrugging. He let his shoulders drop, but the grin remained. If this little tour ended well, he'd have to treat Gerenanth.
Gerenanth wasn't going to persuade him otherwise either. The real treat was getting that new green on his ledge. But why not take an extra treat?

“Is there any chance that my all around guide knows where I can nab a meal afterwards?” She’d owe him big if he could get her to a place where she could fill her empty stomach. She couldn’t remember the last time she ate. She drank plenty of klah to keep her up and running, but never had anything solid. Rasth had complained quite a bit about that, wanting her rider to keep both healthy and strong-always. Aarora was stubborn at times, and only did Rasth’s practiced convincing get her to obey. Eating a meal in the company of another would entice her to stop and eat. Rasth was well aware that Aarora didn’t fancy being alone. Rather, she thrived off the presence of others.
I’m sure he’ll treat you afterwards, quite sure... Aarora coloured a bit at the way her dragon had said treat, as if she was some kind-of possession, something to be acquired and owned. She let out a breath of air roughly and lowered her head, shaking it twice. She didn’t raise her head up, simply averted her eyes up to G’han, grinning cutely. “Rasth can be a bit of a handful.”
I want to sincerely thank you Gerenanth, I really think my rider could use this little arrangement. Rarely does she engage in activities with a partner. She talks plenty to others, yes, but that’s as far as she usually goes. It always left Rasth thinking that her rider was waiting for someone or something to come about, which often left Rasth feeling helpless.

"What kind of guide would I be if I didn't provide a meal? My quarters will be arranged, of course", G'han said with a slight, comical bow to overdramatize. Well that took care of that. Now he had a dinner date, G'han's grin stayed.
G'han shook his head as he responded. "I understand how much of a handful dragons can be. Gerenanth tends to get me in some spots", G'han responded. It was true, Gerenanth could cause him quite a bit of trouble. Though he had to admit, sometimes Gerenanth's schemes did work out. Such as ironing things out with Rhia. And now he would be graced with the presence of this new greenrider.
I think both of ours will benefit from this. G'han could use the personal company. Gerenanth responded back.

Aarora proved to be shy-or was it perhaps squeamish?-at the mention of heading back to his quarters. She let it be though, and was polite about it, “Thank you, you really don’t have to go through the trouble. I wouldn’t want to put you out bronzerider.” She tilted her head to the right, sizing him up in that instant, seeming to try and determine her impression of him at this current time. She wasn’t about to make a final impression, not until after the day was done.
She laughed at the mention of Gerenanth’s behaviour, “I’m sure Rasth and he will have plenty to talk about then.” She stopped to think about how these plans would suit Rasth, and was now beginning to feel a bit stupid for not having seen it sooner. Of course this didn’t have to do with just her! Rasth wanted to spend some time with Gerenanth, and who was she to tell her “no,” Gerenanth seemed a fine bronze. She approved. Aarora really wanted this place to feel like home, and she hoped that G’han would help her to feel more comfortable here.
I have no doubt of this Gerenanth. Is there a place around here that one could go for some ‘fun?’ Rasth asked. Hers was a strong swimmer, and both dragon and rider had a love for beaches. Of course, Rasth thought this too soon. She would not have Hers swimming with G’han just yet...

"Oh no trouble at all. It's rare that I get to treat someone to dinner. It would be an honor to be your host", G'han said as politely as he could. Well, he still had some gentleman qualities anyway. The last time he had dinner one on one was probably with Akki. This one would be much different than her. Though different wasn't necessarily better, the change would be refreshing. After all, she was unattached and this was his chance to get in some brownie points.
"They have plenty to talk about now, apparently", G'han said as he looked up. He knew his bronze had singled out her green for some time now. It was something Gerenanth did from time to time and G'han was well aware when it happened. Usually Gerenanth's attention wasn't so undivided and focused.
There are plenty of places. Mine exercises early every morning and takes a swim when the weather and the conditions are right. Though with the recent hurricane, the lake isn't so good to swim in right now. That was G'han, always in action and he wasn't quite himself if he hadn't started the day with a workout.

V’ian turned to Aarora with wide eyes, “You think? ‘Cause I’m waiting for them to claw off my face.” He had the tendency to think of the worst possible situations when it came to children. Even now he was imagining the kid crying, G’han beating him up for making his kid cry and Aarora kicking him in the face just because she could. Anassa would be standing at the side laughing at him. He was reeeeeally hoping the girl wouldn’t burst into tears because of his funny face now. He didn’t want to get beaten up on the first day of visiting.
We will form a grand duo. A duo of gossip and drama. Waeith said with a soft laugh, eyes churning contently as he shuffled himself slightly on the ledge he was resting upon. He didn’t mind that Rasth was trying to keep his attention along with the other bronze. He found it quite nice of her actually, to be considerate enough to continue to talk to him. His rider often told him that he was, in fact, a bore.
V’ians face lit up at Aarora’s offer of help. He didn’t even remember the fact that she too was new and therefore couldn’t help him very much. It was the thought of her gesture that counted. “You would?” He asked happily, clasping his hands around hers. V’ian was very easy to please, almost anything made him happy. He let go of her hands when he realized what he did but smiled at her. “Two heads are better than one, right?” V’ian asked with a shrug, still smiling away. It’s too bad he didn’t know what his sister currently looked like, at least that would help partially.
He nudged Aarora slightly and jabbed his thumb in the direction of Seth. “You’re being stared at. Does this mean G’han maybe have competition?” He asked quietly, blissfully unaware that what he said could be taken offensively. V’ian was fully capable of being intelligent, but when he was just standing around talking to people he had the tendency to zone out easily and be naïve to everything around him.
He combed his hair out of his face, thinking. He’d need to be shown around the Weyr too if he wanted to stand a chance at locating his sister before he had to head back to his own Weyr. He wondered if he could bother Anassa for a tour? He’d have to remember later on to ask.

I doubt that Kaith would be happy with you baiting one of her bronzes, old friend or not.
P'rin looked a little relieved. It seemed that Akki would drop it.
Wolf heard everything.
P'rin choked. What? He hoped Akki thought he was just coughing. He looked at Wolf. That was why she looked uncomfortable. Oh Faranth!

"Well, we need to learn sometimes, you probably won't be able to avoid kids all your life." Amusement colored her tone as she watched him make funny faces at the little girl. she was happy when the girl giggled at him.
Priath commented to Waeith. Its too bad that yours does not know the name of your sister's dragon. We would know who she is immediately.
"I haven't heard of an Akkivahna. Maybe she went to another weyr? Or she might be one of those that Impressed here or transferred out. The records would proably have her name. Maybe when this clean up is over I could help you look through them. I have Harper training so I can sift through records quickly."
Anassa saw G'han's antics and Aarora's obvious interest and smiled to herself. This would certainly set the Weyr gossips going.

Why was late seeming to be his style, along with major bed head? R’xis stared into the looking glass in his weyr, making the best of a wretched situation; the situation that was his hair. Once he’d combed it some, and it appeared at least semi-manageable, he left to go to the Weyrbowl. Ersith had just left seconds before. He wanted to give a ton of help today, this clean-up was going to take awhile, and last he checked the hurricane had done a lot of damage. The water that had started filling up at the hatching sands had shocked him. He heaved a sigh, not even liking to think about that day now that the Weyrling rider, R’yo, had transferred to a different Weyr. He didn’t understand why these things kept happening, but he was just going to have to suffice with the fact that they did. As long as Akki stayed with him he was perfectly fine, otherwise he’d be a literal shipwreck. Making friends wasn’t the easiest of tasks; R’yo had been his only male friend. Now he was going to have to make the effort to branch out, but who to? G’han maybe, no; Akki did view him as a close friend though. Should he be making the effort to get to know G’han because of that? There were so many people in the Weyr, G’han just didn’t really seem like the kind-of friend he’d be able to confide in, but who was he to judge? Oh well, he’d at least try, no harm in that. It’d make Akki happy at least, that’s what counted when it came right down to it.
Once he was out in the daylight, looking about the Weyrbowl, he felt much better. He had been a bit groggy getting out of bed, like most mornings, but the cup of warm klah that he’d quickly drank down had done him a lot of good. Bless that drink! R’xis looked up to the heights where Ersith was settling beside Ebbeth. He wasn’t at all surprised there, he had expected as much. Mine has finally made it here, you may want to inform Akki of this oh mighty blue. Ersith’s tone was playful. Teasing Ebbeth was a great way to start the morning off. Did you- Admin's Note:[/hr][/i] Tell Ebbeth to tell Akki you’re here? Yes. The brown loved to finish his sentences for him; it made their conversations a whole lot quicker.
“Thank you my troublemaking partner,” he said aloud, shaking his head in disbelief. He smoothed out a wrinkle in his clothing, pulling his shirt down and his pants up. He had gotten ready more quickly than usual; having feared he’d be the last one to arrive, which from the looks of it was about right, go figure. He spotted Wolf and Christae immediately, and not far from them he caught sight of Akki’s head of blond hair. G’han didn’t seem to be with her, but P’rin, Hasima, and Marletta were. Akki mingled with everyone, which was always a nice thing to see.
He stopped alongside his sister, eyebrows raised, giving her the weirdest of looks once he saw the sorry state she was in. “Hey,” he said hoarsely, clearing his throat. “You okay?” He placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly, instantly worried that something may be wrong.

Akki watched as T’ran made his way over and stared at him in the corner of her eye. It was all too easy to play mind games with the new bronzerider. She turned and stared at him, eyes filled with confusion as her mouth turned into a slight frown. “Um. Can I help you?” She asked, sounding rather haughty. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked at T’ran disapprovingly. Everyone around her knew that Akki would not treat people like this way, so it was obvious she was playing a joke. At least, she hoped it was.
She hadn’t even noticed the fact that Wolf had overheard her conversation with P’rin. If she had, she might have felt slightly bad for her friend. She didn’t want to embarrass Wolf – it was just that things came out of her mouth before she could stop them. That and the fact her curiosity level was always high and it begged for answers. But instead, she turned her attention back to P’rin. “So if there’s no juicy gossip for you to tell me, what else has been going on? It seems like I haven’t seen you for a long time.”
I have every right to tease any dragon that is younger than me. Kaith said so.
Ebbeth shuffled himself over, happy to let Ersith sit beside him and was more than willing to give her some extra room. Compliments? So early in the morning? It must be my lucky day. Though, I am rather might. The dragon replied with a silent croon. You’re looking well to day Ersith. Shiny and healthy, I approve. He had to compliment her back, of course.
He informed his rider that R’xis was there now, somewhere and watched with amusement when he saw his rider stand up on her tiptoes and look around. Akki peered over as many heads as she could, trying to search for her boy. She finally saw him with Wolf and decided against calling him over. He looked worried about something so she figured she would give him some time to unwind from whatever it was before calling him over to her.

Wolf knew that Akki hadn’t meant to make either of them feel bad; the girl simply had a way of dragging information out of people. Wolf didn’t mind, for the most part, especially since she trusted Akki. She was aware that P’rin didn’t know the Bluerider all that well, so the situation would likely be even all the more awkward on his end. Wolf didn’t plan on revealing anything more than he had, especially since there wasn’t anything to reveal-right? He’d gotten the jist of it with how he’d explained their friend status. Now that the topic seemed to be settled for the most part-wait, P’rin was giving her a look. (Yes, she had not been able to resist temptation and had ended-up looking over at where he stood again.) What was that looked suppose to tell her? He looked worried, apologetic? Perhaps a bit of both... She frowned at him, shrugging her shoulders. She then smiled gently, as if saying it was all right, she hadn’t been comfortable overhearing the questions but everything was good. When she felt a hand on her shoulder she turned at hearing her brother’s voice. Her unsettled expression changed to a ‘top of the world’ one, bright eyes, huge grin that stretched from ear to ear.
“R’xis, hey!” She threw her arms up around his neck, though it was a difficult task to achieve due to his height and her... not height. “Yah,” she told him in a quieter voice, “I was just dealing with a bit of a situation.” Her voice dropped to a whisper at the last part, still having him in an embrace so that no one would wonder what she was whispering about, and that way P’rin would get suspicious either. She pulled back, standing flat on her feet again. “What kind-of a situation?” he asked, looking down at her, concern flooding his voice. Here he went again, playing big brother, though the role was his to play. “I’ll talk to you about it later,” she replied quickly, waving a hand at him, dismissing the issue.
“So then,” she began in a louder voice, “we can put you to work brownrider!” she yelled out authoritatively. She’d deepened her voice as well for comedic effect. “I want you to take the one half of the Weyrbowl while the rest of us take this side,” she said, stabbing a finger in the direction of the ground. “Now go and do as you’re told!” she hollered. R’xis stared at her for a moment, and then a literal two seconds later he burst out laughing. When he glanced over at Wolf she was nearly doubled over, the girl having had a sudden burst of energy that had thankfully been used on the best person possible. Wolf ushered him off to the other side of the Weyrbowl, a pretend glare on her face. “Now get!” she said, pushing him in the direction of Akki purposefully. She kicked at the air once he was a ways ahead.
Does being so nervous always make you this hyper? Maybe...
~ ~ ~
R’xis looked back over his shoulder, not finding his sisters behaviour at all peculiar. Wolf was just always like that; around people she felt really close to that is. When he turned back to look straight ahead he nearly collided with Akki. He put his arms out in front of him, resting his hands on her own arms, holding her in place. “Oh wow, near disaster,” he chuckled softly. He turned his head to the side a bit, squinting his eyes while he observed her face. “Huh... You just get prettier and prettier everyday don’t you?” He laughed at his own lameness, not realizing that she had been in a conversation with a new bronzerider. He pulled the girl against him, resting a hand on the back of her neck before leaning in to kiss her lips. He kissed her a second time, pulling back a bit afterwards, though regretful for having to do so. He mirthfully said, “That’s for not having said a proper good-night to you at the hatching feast.” And, because two times just wasn’t suitable enough, he came the short distance to kiss her a third time, lip locked with her for an instant. He bit the inside of his cheek when he came away the second time, “And that was a good morning for you.” He’d never really been so bold when it came to the... physical aspects of his and Akki’s relationship. It’s not like he didn’t think about it at times... a bit... more often than not... so pretty much a lot. He knew he was blushing, and felt stupid for it, but maybe if he was lucky she just wouldn’t notice. He wanted her to feel close to him, to want to talk to him about stuff; was he sounding like the girl in this relationship? He wasn’t sure, but best not dwell on it.
Oh, you know that I shine and shimmer just for you Ebbeth. And what, do you think it too early for compliments? If you want I could always wait until the afternoon hours, she teased mercilessly. She had found herself becoming quite the flirt around Ebbeth, and Ebbeth alone. She wasn’t all that sure when it had started, but it certainly had started, whatever it was. She enjoyed his company very much so, and was glad that he didn’t find her a nuisance.
Please tell me you just saw that... she sent to Ebbeth concerning what she’d just seen her rider do in terms of public affection. Is there an all or nothing policy that I didn’t know about? Ersith asked R’xis casually. No, you’re not allowed to comment, thanks for asking...

Part of her was wondering why Wolf looked so... troubled? Worried? She wasn’t sure what the right word was for it but she figured she could lure it out of R’xis one way or another. She fell back on to the flats of her feet and turned to continue frowning at T’ran – it was fun to tease him. She was going to make another comment about how T’ran wasn’t wanted, they needed no more friends here. But before the words could even begin to form, she felt her body move slightly and then hands on her arms. She looked up with a wide grin, “Good thing you’re fast enough to grab me. If I fell, I would have hurt you in return.”
“It’s been awhile.” She sniffed as she eyed R’xis. It had actually only been a few days since she last saw him, but it felt like forever. She was pretty sure his hair had gotten longer since then. Or was she just imagining things? She snorted at his prettier comment, shoving him slightly as a retort. She never considered herself pretty, her hair was always a mess and she was always making weird faces. Clearly R’xis was losing his sight. She felt a hand at the back of her neck now, being pulled towards the boy. She was released after the first two kisses. “R’xis, since when did you go for public displays of affection?” She mumbled with a coy grin. Her and R’xis barely did things like this in front of people, she wasn’t sure why but it was just the way it went.
She stood up on her tip toes (When did R’xis get so tall?) and placed a kiss on the boy’s – her boy’s- cheek. “I guess mine would be a thank you then.” She laughed as she once again returned her feet to the ground, flat. She liked ‘Bold R’xis’. Akki normally initiated things first in many aspects of her life. She always started conversations with new people and things like that. It was rather nice not to have to initiate something like this but instead just go along for the ride.
I’ll shine and shimmer in return for you then, one day. The blue promised Ersith. He too enjoyed the browns company, he tried to get along well with every dragon at the Weyr but it seemed very, very easy to get along with Ersith. She was willing to tease and taunt him when he did the same to her. I like being complimented in the morning. It gives you more time to compliment me later. The blue replied sounding quite egotistic.
He turned his head slightly to look at the brown, I’m trying to forget it. I like to picture my rider as an innocent and naïve girl. This may ruin said image. Poor Ebbeth, that image was ruined a long, long time ago. No one thought of Akki as innocent anymore, except for maybe her brother who still pictured her as quiet and modest.

P'rin shrugged. "I've been keeping myself and Kilzanth fit." He grinned and lifted his arms. "See the muscle?" He figured Akki would get a kick out of teasing like that. Plus Wolf was looking his way. He had seen her shrug and decided not to let Akki's untimely probing bother him. Nothing wrong with showing off in front of a pretty girl. Hasima had turned elsewhere but there were other young ladies around.
Oh shards you're turning me into a bronzerider.
You ARE a bronzerider dimglow.
You know what I mean. The dragon's response was a snort of amusement.
"I've been doing a lot of work with the hides from that hunt a few months ago. The hides needed curing and all that and since I'm a Master Tanner, I offered to do some of it. Other than that things have been pretty boring if I'm not on patrol."
P'rin started to say more but he was interrupted by the arrival of R'xis. So much for chatting with Akki and Wolf. He was glad the brownrider was Wolf's brother. He wasn't sure why but he was just very glad that he had no interest in Wolf. Shards, P'rin didn't even know for sure if HE was interested in Wolf, or just how interested he was. He knew that Kilzanth was besotted with Serinth. But then again, he was a bronze and he had even chased after Kaith.
I may be younger, but I'm bigger, and I doubt Kaith will mind my teasing you. She might say it's good for you. If he had been a child, the dragon would have stuck his tongue out at the blue.
"Sometimes I am reminded of just how young you are Kilzanth." He remarked aloud after the bronze's comment to the blue.

Rhia smiled at the Searchrider. "I'm sure Elayne will be fine here." She looked over the girl and the new boy Candidate. She had already sent off several of them to the temporary Candidate quarters in the Lower Caverns. Now she would send these two off and go see what that greenrider that was flirting with G'han needed with her.
"Elayne, Dicar, welcome to Dark Moon Weyr. We will be cleaning up the mess that the hurricanes left. I'm sorry you came in right when we were cleaning but we can use your help. I will let Christae know that we have a few extra hands to help. I sent a few more Candidates off with drudges to put their belongings down. I will do the same for you two. I suspect that Christae will be giving orders soon so you had best hurry."
She signaled to the drudge that had returned to the gathering after leading Seth around. "I have two more for you to settle if you don't mind." The drudge bowed to the Candidate Master.
"If ye'll follow me lad, lass. I'll take ye to where ye need to be."
"You will be in temporary quarters. Remember, girls cannot be in the boys' barracks without an escort and vice versa. I will see you soon."
With the Candidates dealt with, Rhia headed over to where the two greenriders and two bronzeriders were talking with her children.
She nodded a greeting to Anassa and G'han and then gave her attention to the new bronzerider and greenrider.
"Welcome to Dark Moon. I am Rhia, rider of brown Mneith, Candidate Master and Weyrling Master." Her greeting was formal, but her tone was warm. She was a woman who often had to be serious but that didn't mean she couldn't be friendly.
Rehan tugged on her wher-hide breeches. "Up Mamma up!" She reached down to scoop the toddler up and settled him on her hip. She still looked competent even though she had the child on her hip.
OOC: This makes me think of the song "Redneck woman" where she says "With a baby on my hip" Lol..not that Rhia's anything like a redneck. More like a coonass.

From what Dicar could tell, the girl seemed nervous, or scared. He wondered for a bit just what her deal was. Then again, Dicar really wasn't one to get nervous or scared. If he ever did, he wouldn't show it. Not outside that rough exterior of his. Well, atleast she didn't try to strike up some conversation with him. He certainly didn't feel like talking to any of these new people.
When the drudge appeared to take them both to where they needed to be, Dicar simply listened and followed. There really wasn't a point in responding. She said what she had to say and did what she had to do, and it was obvious Dicar was comprehending everything.

Wolf rolled her eyes when P’rin showed off his muscles for the ladies, what a boy. She shook her head back and forth, resting a hand on her forehead dramatically. “How long does it take for boys to turn into men I wonder?” she teased aloud, her voice naturally loud. For all she knew that could’ve carried to everyone about the area. She wasn’t the most tactful person sometimes, especially when she was joking with someone, she was capable of accidentally taking it too far. Then afterward she spent her time apologizing until her throat hurt. Wolf wrinkled her nose up, faking disgust when R’xis was kissing Akki. She opened her mouth and pointed a finger down her throat, bent over and gagging-the works. Once they were done she stood back and watched Christae out of the corner of her eye. How was she handling having such a child for a Jr. Weyrwoman? Ah well, Wolf sure couldn’t help who she was, what with being seventeen turns. Mine, I don’t think you’ve ever really tried to be mature, Serinth said, using her brutal honesty on her rider. Sorry! she hollered quickly after, realizing that she’d sounded somewhat rude, especially from Wolf’s perspective she bet. No, no, Serinth. You’re quite right, I’ve never had much use for maturity, other than physically, she chuckled, finding herself watching P’rin. Once the watching became more of a spaced out stare she shook her head back and forth rapidly, making herself dizzy-headed.
She didn’t want to bother R’xis, but Serinth could always bug Ersith into relaying a message for her... Yes, perfect idea! Serinth, tell Ersith to tell R’xis that his public display of affection had me puke up a whole lot of nasty stuff, which in turn caused Christae to slip, and now he’s to blame for giving the Weyrwoman a concussion. So now he’s going to be transferred, never to make-out with Akki again... or otherwise. Oh wait, he’s never done otherwise! Make sure to add that too, Wolf told Serinth quickly, her words jumbling together when she began to laugh insanely, betting this was going to get the best reaction out of her brother. Wow, she should really talk far more to him when she was hyper!
Done Mine, to the word. Ersith said that she wishes she had thought to come up with such a scenario herself, you’re her new hero. Good, now maybe a statue can be made of me, Wolf replied, pretending to actually have an ego.

R’xis shrugged a bit, “Since I’ve thought more about how kissing you is too hard to refrain from doing,” he said in a hushed tone. He looked off to the side, putting a hand on the side of his neck, quickly taking in the crowd around them. When he saw that P’rin may have been initiated in some kind-of conversation with his girl he smiled apologetically. He briefly said: “Sorry for taking her attention.” He winked, adding, “I like taking it all up though, can’t blame me for that.” “And every second I’m away from you is a second too long, you know that,” he pouted at Akki. He slid his hands down to her waist, keeping her close to him. All those sleepless nights thinking about Akki had really paid off, why did he feel like such a lovesick teenager though? Maybe because he was, hm. He was all of a sudden wishing there was no clean-up so he could just take her away with him, he felt quite addicted to her lately. Alas, he wanted to be of help to the Weyr! At feeling Akki’s kiss on his cheek he got those warm fuzzy feelings he loved oh so much.
When Wolf’s message was relayed to him from Ersith he coloured from head to toe, and he began chuckling nervously. He would ‘not’ be telling Akki this story of his sisters, but he would need to give her some-sort of explanation for his laughter. “Its Wolf, she’s acting up as usual, little sisters...” He scoffed, rolling his eyes. “I just can never seem to escape her teasing; it’s constant with her, as I’m sure you’ve noticed.” R’xis needed a change, and he figured this to be a good one. “How bad would I be if I told you I wanted you all to myself right now?” he asked Akki curiously, wondering what her response would be in the back of his mind, ready to analyze her every word...
Ebbeth, you already shimmer and shine to me. Don’t get used to these compliments dearest blue, you know how I am, she snorted, grumbling at the blue. Do not expect me to become a softie Ebbeth, look at how I treat R’xis after all. Ersith and R’xis’ relationship was best described as a love-hate relationship. They loved each other greatly, and that was clearly expressed in their banter. They were not like Serinth and Wolf who defined their loving relationship by being so sweet and gentle with one another. It’s not to say that one or the other were a closer pair, it’s just that things occurred differently between them.
Wolf speaks such truth, came Ersith’s mutterings. R’xis growled at his dragon mentally. Okay, well maybe sometimes he was envious of Wolf having Serinth, just a little bit.

Seth, unaware of V’ian’s prior comment, wandered on up to where the riders were shyly. He stood next to Aarora, giving her a tiny smile. “Hello there greenrider,” he bowed, being all formal with the female rider. “Thanks for bringing me here, if I’d forgotten to say so earlier. It must have been a bit out of your way... and... anyhow, thanks.” The boy was sweet, especially for one in his early teens. Most didn’t take the common courtesy to go out of their way to thank someone, but Seth was always considering these kinds of things. He knew that it looked good on him to do so, but that’s not at all why he did it, he did it simply because he didn’t want anyone to think him rude.
He looked upon the bronzeriders, trying to hide his awe of the male dragonriders. He hoped to be like them someday, not exactly, but remotely. “Good day,” he said, finding that his voice came out more quietly then it had when he’d been speaking to Aarora. He bowed to G’han, V’ian, and Anassa all at once, one bow being issued to the three of them. He turned back to Aarora, feeling most comfortable around her currently, perhaps because she treated him like he was a child of hers. “Your dragon was speaking to me, it was really shocking; does she always do that?” he asked, wondering if it was too bold to bring up her dragon in conversation.

How I do like duo’s, Rasth replied to Waeith suggestively. Well Waeith thought her polite for conversing with both Gerenanth and himself, there was a part of her doing it so that she could be prideful of their attention. Rasth’s ulterior motives were not always caught on to. Gossip from my end says that a bronze going by the name of Waeith has added an attractive appeal to the Weyr, Rasth flirted shamelessly. Aarora felt sicker and sicker with every bronze she tried to wrap around her sharp claws. It meant that she had a lot of bronzeriders to converse with, otherwise she’d have an irate Rasth on her hands, and rarely could she handle that. “The honours all Mine, really,” Aarora said to G’han, “I’m glad that I’m one of the rare cases then. Yes, Rasth always finds something to talk about, she never stops talking.” Heard that.
Aarora seemed a bit surprised when V’ian grabbed her hand, and she did well to conceal a blush as best she could. “Of course I would, anytime you’d like,” she answered. She chuckled at his stated fact. “Yes, two heads are always better bronzerider.” V’ian’s nudge set her to shivering a tad, not having realized that he was indicating to someone until the last second. “Oh, what?” she said, now full-out blushing because of his comment made about G’han, and this one she couldn’t hide! She ignored it completely, as if it hadn’t even been said. “Oh, that little cutie, Seth, well he’s a new Candidate here now,” she explained. “Probably is too nervous to talk to anyone else the poor thing,” she chuckled, not surprised at the fact that he was coming on over as she was speaking of him.
I spoke to the little one Mine, he scares easy, Rasth informed Aarora about the time Seth had. “Seth, hey,” she said, putting an arm around his shoulders casually. “It was no trouble bringing you here kiddo; I can help out whenever you need me too.” “This is G’han,” she pointed, “V’ian, and Anassa. You’ll likely see them around the Weyr.” The voice she used was different, reserved for children and animals alone. It made Seth feel special, clearly, because he was officially beaming when she began to address him. Her voice was both soft and calming. She tousled the boy’s hair affectionately and he chuckled, placing his hands in front of him. “No, not always, only when she thinks someone’s important enough to talk to,” she fibbed, smiling back at him.
“Candidate Master Rhia!” Aarora said, not having meant to sound so alarmed. She’d been so wrapped up in keeping the boy feeling comfortable in the group chat that she had almost completely missed Rhia coming up. “I’m Aarora rider of Green Rasth, it’s great to finally meet you,” she said, using her free hand to extend to the woman by way of further greeting. “I apologize for sounding so startled.” Oh, well this is great news. Mine will be quite comfortable here indeed, as will I, Rasth said to Gerenanth. Good, swimming wasn’t an option! No news could have pleased her more. I trust yours is a good tour guide then?

"Certainly the honor is all mine. Since you do happen to be one of those rare cases", G'han said to her with a wink. If anyone conceived it was flirting, it was very mild. G'han chuckled when she spoke of her dragon. "Then she'll get along with Gerenanth just fine. For a bronze, he's quite a talker", he responded in turn. Though the bronze usually talked about himself or his rider. He could be considered quite self absorbed.
If G'han had overheard V'ian's comment, he did his best to ignore it. Though his face seemed a slighter shade of red than usual. Though G'han did look over to notice Aarora was straight up blushing herself. He wanted to smile and laugh a bit, he found the look to be cute. But any hint of redness faded when he greeted the young boy that came to them. "Hello...Seth, was it?", G'han asked in his greeting. Perhaps he should have paid more attention to the conversation and less on this pretty new greenrider that was currently holding his interest.
Mine knows this weyr like the back of his hand. Gerenanth explained boldly. Even if G'han didn't, Gerenanth sure wasn't about to say otherwise. After all, his rider would need all the help he could get. Of course Gerenanth was all too eager to offer his. We will be sure to make you feel quite comfortable and at home, dear Rasth. Gerenanth responded, doing his own bit of flirting.
G'han straightened up a bit as he noticed Rhia was now in their presence. He accepted her greeting with one of his own. He waved at her with that goofy grin of his plastered on his face. To be honest, he was hoping in the back of his mind she hadn't caught on to some of that less than subtle flirting. Then again, it wasn't so much that he cared if she saw it specifically. After all, they weren't weyrmates anymore. He could flirt with whoever. There was another reason, or two, really. He'd be sure to make note of even the subtlest of actions around his kids. Then again, G'han just couldn't help himself. Stuck around such beautiful women, it was hard not to flirt.
