Kira made her way to the large group of people forming and eyed which person, or boy, she'd hang around. She spotted her target easy enough. K'ris would be her interest at the moment. She walked casually towards him, hips swaying. She stood beside him and smiled sweetly as she spoke up. "Why hello K'ris", she greeted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
G'han was content to wait quietly for the weyrwoman's orders. Perhaps part of that content came from eyeing her while he wouldn't be caught. All things aside, G'han was a guy and women were his interest. Still, G'han had other things on his mind besides eyeing women. He also took note on who was arriving. A smile formed as he saw Akki talking up Hasima and another girl he'd noticed around. Seemed to be a weyrling. Rhia was the next to catch his attention. He was glad they had their talk. They may no longer be an item, but atleast they could salvage some friendship from the relationship.
His eyes gazed on Rhia a bit too long and the woman introducing herself caught G'han off guard. As the bronzerider turned to face the interruption of his thoughts, he smirked. Not a bad interruption if he had to say so himself. "Why hello there", G'han's tone was deep and amused, the smirk still there. "How may I be of assistance?", he asked with a slight bow out of courtesy.
That is the one riding a green that I have not seen around here before. Perhaps she is a new arrival or just here to help clean up. Gerenanth spoke to his bonded only. But Gerenanth was focused on the green that introduced herself to the dragons as she arrived. A pleasure to meet you. I am Gerenanth and it is my rider that is talking to yours. The bronze greeted himself with a tone smug like any other bronze but the same hint of amusement as his rider, if not a bit playful as well.
Christae smiled when Serinth bugled her greeting. She could just about imagine the way her Jr. WW was cringing at the dragon's ploy for attention. She approved. As Junior WW, Wolf needed to get used to being in the spotlight. Today she would be leading her own set of groups, as Christae would lead another today.
Good day Serinth.
"Good morning Wolf. No one has started yet. I will be giving out orders when everyone has arrived. We are still missing some of the Weyrlings and a couple of riders. I will be splitting everyone into groups and you will be in charge of half of the groups. Serinth will have to keep track of the dragons and relay the needs of the holds that the dragons send her. She will tell them to Kaith and we will get the supplies ready here for the teams to pick up."
She approved of the fact that Wolf was taking the time to meet the newcomers. Since Christae herself was often too busy. At least they were greeted.
Rasth watched her rider go off, keeping her in sight. She snapped her wings open, listening in while her rider engaged in conversation with a young man. She perceived almost right away that he was a rider, and was just about to inform hers when G’han’s dragon put in a timely introduction. Gerenanth you say? Well, I shall not forget your name Gerenanth, the pleasure of meeting you is all mine. That is your rider, you don’t say? Well, Mine has made a fine choice of someone to approach then, now that I can be sure she is in good hands I shall join everyone on the heights. Rasth beat her wings, stirring up more dust, wishing she could be more considerate of the people around her yet the hurricane had really done a number on the Weyrbowl’s current state of cleanliness. Once airborne she rose to the heights, landing in an open space, continuing to keep an eye on hers down below. She knew that she hadn’t given Gerenanth a name, one of those dragons that enjoyed being a tease. She waited a few seconds longer, a glow to her faceted eyes when she sent:
And I am Rasth great bronze, I’m thinking you’d do well to remember my name also. The green was feeling quite lucky to have already stumbled upon a dragon to flirt with, and a bronze nonetheless. Perhaps this would be a great place to reside after all, especially if Hers managed to fair well when it came to her... options.
Little miss pick up on everything, that was so her. So while G’han would have likely thought no one had noticed him checking out the ladies, she’d been all over what he was doing while walking up to greet him. From the woman’s lips sounded an almost unperceivable chuckle... She inclined her head to where Rhia was, her tongue pushing up against the inside of her cheek, her mouth ajar. She spoke both softly and at an even pace, “Having a good time? It looks like you’re getting the most work done out of anyone here,” she said to him teasingly, often this forward with most people. She minutely glanced from Christae to Rhia, two women who stood out from the crowd, likely due to their level of importance in the Weyr. Her face had gone blank while looking from one to the other, but it wasn’t long before her smirk lighted her face again, and her eyes flickered back to G’han, forgetting all about having asked him for help. Her hair brushed against the sides of her face but she made no move to push it back, waiting to see what he’d have to say for himself.
G'han raised an eyebrow then looked back momentarily at Rhia then to her. "Just thinking, is all", he said simply as he looked back directly at her. Well it was true for that one anyway. If she'd actually caught him glancing at the weyrwoman on the couple of occassions he did then she was very aware of her surroundings. He had to admit, his reasons for taking an admiring glance at the weyrwoman were different than his glance at Rhia. He was a bronzerider afterall, and G'han did like weighing his options. He certainly didn't intend it or want to force it. But if Gerenanth happened to catch Christae's gold then it wouldn't be so bad to be paired with her. He did happen to know Christae for as long as he knew Rhia. They may not have been as close due to her duties, but he did consider her within his range of friends.
His focus was back on this greenrider before him. As for her, his glances would probably take on a whole new meaning. "So how may I be able to assist you?", G'han asked yet again, his tone polite but an appreciative smile on his face.
Dear Rasth, I will do well in remembering your name. Perhaps you will grace my ledge with your presence soon? I do not think my rider would mind company. Gerenanth was in the mood to flirt back with this green. Infact, I know he won't mind. The bronze added knowingly.
She let the incident drop; not sure how much baiting this particular Bronzerider was akin to taking. At least he hadn’t turned her away after her bold comment, though somehow that didn’t surprise her much. She uncrossed her arms, her thumbs catching on to her pockets. “I was just wondering where I could find the Weyrwoman actually, one of them her by any chance?” she said, grinning lop-sidedly, mischievousness written all over her face when she brought up the two women again. Mine, you are currently speaking to a Bronzerider, his Bronze’s name is Gerenanth. I must say, some time spent with this pair would not do me any harm, what are your opinions? The greenrider ignored her dragon for now, used to this kind of reaction from her. Rasth was constantly trying to find some impressive bronze to attach her to, and when she wasn’t, she was thinking about attaching herself to one. It wasn’t to say she didn’t focus on her rider, if anything she focused on her too much, her watching of her could be considered paranoia-like behaviour.
“My dragon informs me that you’re a dragonrider,” she stated. “Not that I couldn’t tell,” she added, leaving it up to him to decide whether or not she’d meant for him to take it as a compliment. As soon as time permits me to Gerenanth, I would not torture you by leaving you so desirous. Wouldn’t he? she raised the question curiously, trying to get a better understanding of the Bronzerider’s situation. Clearly the pair was both unmated, that was a plus; perhaps she should set her rider up then? No, it’d be too soon, and the girl always killed her when she tried. My rider tends to leave something to be desired, Rasth rumbled, looking down at where Hers was. The green was proud at this moment, very proud.
“I wonder how much talk those two are doing.” She was referring to their dragons, wondering if G’han thought something of it, or if his bronze had perhaps told him that her green was merely an attention seeker. To a degree Rasth was, yes, but it never meant that there wasn’t some truth to her words. Rasth had a way of getting on everyone’s good sides.
Good morning beautiful Serinth. I will tell my rider that yours has told him hello. The bronze relayed the message to P'rin. He glanced around and caught sight of her speaking to Christae.
P'rin raised his hand up as well. "Good morning Wolf!" He called out. He moved closer, wanting to hear what Christae had to say when she started assigning tasks and it also brought him closer to hear if Wolf had anything to say.
Rehan and Giana tore out of the Lower Caverns, followed closely by Chiron and a swearing drudge. The Weyrwoman's son veered off and made a beeline for Christae, latching onto her leg as the twins darted to Rhia. She bent down to hug each of her children and started to scold them, but the little hellions took off again, darting to their father.
Rhia started to go after them, but stopped short, noticing that he was deep in conversation with yet another new arrival. This one was a female greenrider. Rhia recalled that there was a greenrider transferring in with Assistant Candidate Master credentials, someone Christae hoped would take over those duties from Rhia as Candidate Master one day soon, but she didn't know what the woman looked like so she didn't know if she was the one she was expecting or not.
She heard someone calling out, looking for the Candidate Master so she headed out in the direction of the voice. She caught up to the boy. "I am the Candidate Master. Rhia of brown Mneith, Candidate Master and Weyrling Master. How may I help you?" Grey eyes looked him over. He was young. That was good. The Weyr needed youngsters. The younger they were when they Impressed, the longer they would have with their dragons.
~~~~
Meanwhile, Rehan and Giana streaked through the crowd and threw themselves at G'han.
"Don wanna stay in. Wanna help!" Rehan protested loudly, trying to stave off the inevitable drudge coming to herd him and his sister and playmate back into the Weyr.

"Oh I'm well aware that you know", G'han chuckled. He raised a hand to his mouth as he did, and stopped after a moment. "My dragon has taken an interest in yours and has already informed me you're a new greenrider. Infact, not too long after you greeted me", G'han clarified. "I'm certain by now you know I'm a bronzerider. But allow me to introduce myself by name. I am G'han, and the bronze that is occupying himself with your green is Gerenanth", G'han bowed slightly, yet again, and nodded. He looked at her and extended a hand forward to shake. "And may I have the pleasure of knowing your name?", G'han asked with a smile. He had to admit, he enjoyed occupying his time with this greenrider.
My dear Rasth you are too kind. I look forward to sharing my ledge. Gerenanth wasn't as worried about his rider. G'han made his moves and he wasn't one to stay without a woman for long. However, he wasn't one to tie himself down for long either. That one seemed to be a recent development while at Telger. The bronze knew there was more to that, and could do more than guess at what it was. But maybe now that Rhia and G'han had worked things out things could change. Though maybe that change would take time. Still, Gerenanth allowed his thoughts to drift to how pleased G'han might be if his new found interest allowed his rider a chance at this greenrider. He didn't see his rider minding too much about that.
However, G'han would mind about the two hatchlings that were about to ruin the mood. G'han gave an "oof", as the twins ran at him and picked up Rehan as he looked over to the girl with an awkward smile. "You remember one of the women I was looking at?", G'han asked and bobbed Rehan up and down a bit in his arms gently. G'han rested his hand on top of Giana's head. He then looked over to the drudge bearing down on his poor twins. "They're fine with me", G'han spoke up. Might as well let them help, the twins had the stubbornness of their mother.
He then looked directly at Rhia who seemed to be called to her duties. Oh well, no help from her. Looks like if G'han wanted to get anywhere with this girl, he'd have to work alot harder. Not that he cared to, and not like he minded either. G'han went with the flow of things.

Hello Priath. I hope you and your rider are doing well this day. Ebbeth greeted as he noticed the green. He couldn’t help it; similar to his rider he liked to chat up other dragons (Especially the female ones).
Akki giggled slightly, catching the fact that Ebbeth had every attention of talking to the greens (And female browns of course) that were present today. “Look at that, a brownrider just came.” She mentioned, pointing towards the man with a large grin on her face. She snapped her head towards a new voice and smiled happily as she saw P’rin. “Hello, I hope you have your cleaning clothes on because things are going to get messy.” She said with a sniff as she eyed the debris on the ground. “I hope Kilzanth is doing well also.”
She raised her hands above her hand to wave to Wolf before opening them widely to motion to the Weyrbowl. “Isn’t this magical you guys? Everyone is coming together! Mind you, it is for cleaning but still; this is pretty grand right?” It seemed like forever that everyone had gotten together (Except for hatchings and the feasts that followed). It was sort of…nice, to tell you the truth. She fanned her face, which did in fact seem rather flushed, with her hand, “I’m getting too excited you guys. The amount of newcomers is making me too happy, I can’t keep it in.”
-----
Unlike Akki, Hasima remained much more mellow about this whole ordeal. She smiled shyly at P’rin and hoped the boy didn’t think she disliked him or anything. They had been in the same class since candidacy but Hasima was still the quiet girl she was back then. She blushed slightly at her bluerider friend, she’d be embarrassed by the girls extravagance if she wasn’t so used to it by now.
She looked to where Wolf was and lifted her hand into a slight wave. Hello Serinth. Please greet your rider for me. I’m afraid Hasima isn’t the type to shout back. Rimith said in her usual polite tone as she surveyed the going on’s from where she was perched. Hasima was feeling slightly overwhelmed by everything. Crowds were not her strong point unfortunately.

It seemed there was a never ending supply of entrances this day, a positive thing for Dark Moon Weyr. It’s population was expanding beautifully as dragons appeared above the Weyrbowl. A deep bronze joined the trend, winking from Between only to pop up in the air where Rasth was just a few minutes ago. Waeith did not bugle to announce his presence, even though being a bronze he should have gone for the more flashy entrance. Perhaps this was betraying his hide color by not going from something more extravagant? Too late now, the mysteriously quiet entrance it would be. He spiraled gracefully downwards, careful not too stir up too much dirt and dust when he landed.
”One of your better landings yet.” V’ian stated as he slid off of the large bronze. I have to keep up a good appearance, right? Waeith replied slyly as he scouted the surroundings. He had to admire the amount of female dragons around, he couldn’t help it. The bronze dragon faced his rider with whirling, curious eyes. It seems the entire Weyr is out, I’m sure you would be able to find her The bronze stated before taking off and perching himself so he would be out of the way. V’ian frowned slightly. He was looking for his sister, but he had heard about the hurricane and figured he could also lend a hand while he was out here. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed, brown eyes darting about to see if he could spot someone vaguely familiar.
Unfortunately for him, he hadn’t seen Akkivahna for many, many Turns. He wasn’t even sure where she was until he went back to Derth and asked about. Apparently she was searched and had Impressed, but no one knew what she had gotten. He was on the look out for a green dragon since that was what girls normally Impressed. He chewed on his lip, when he last saw his sister she was nine inches shorter and quite a few pounds heavier from what she was today. So instead of looking for someone taller, he was looking for someone on the short side which would be the reason why he wouldn’t be able to find her in the end. That and the fact that he still called her Akkivahna, he had no idea that she had shortened her name. Akkivahna was even pronounced differently from Akki. Ack-kay-vaw-naw as compared to just Ack-ee. He didn’t realize it yet, but he was going to spend a long time looking for this girl.
He rubbed at his eye in annoyance before walking over to Aarora and G’han. Perhaps they would know where his sister was? “Excuse me.” V’ian said politely, careful not to interrupt anyone mid-sentence. “I was wondering if you two could perhaps help me?” The bronzerider was hoping to at least make a good impression since he was just a guest to Dark Moon.
----
Z’ayr burst into the Weyrbowl, tugging on a shirt with a large grin on his face. He was late and he knew it. But he didn’t know what to wear and that’s what delayed him. He didn’t want to ruin his clothes with dirt, which would just make him look like a mess! And his flamboyant side refused to let him be a mess. He ended up stopping near Vaelryn, and placed his hands on his knees as he bent over slightly – panting from running.
He figured that ending up near Vaelryn would be beneficial, since the candidate probably didn’t know too many people yet and the fact that Z’ayr thought he was actually rather cute. Unfortunately, Vaelryn was probably straight like most people at Dark Moon. Also there was the fact he hadn’t officially announced that he liked guys, but most people knew already probably. He straightened and lifted a hand into the air, examining it. “What if I ruin my nails?” He blurted out to no one particular, appearing to be quite worried. Dirty nails and messed up cuticles were not his favorite thing. It was hard to be an orderly homosexual when almost everything threatened to ruin his hair or nails!

At being called beautiful, Wolf practically shrieked at the loudness of Serinth’s voice when it boomed in her head: I was just called beautiful! Did you hear? Oh, you should have heard. Wolf swore under her breath, giving Christae the most apologetic of looks. “Sorry about that, if it’s possible for dragons to have sugar rushes I think Serinth just had one.” Serinth crooned from the heights, her eyes whirring rapidly, a warm blue to reflect her more than happy mood.
Yes, please do Kilzanth, it is good to be talking to you again. When P’rin shouted out a greeting of his own and walked closer Wolf giggled. Wait... giggled? This day was most certainly turning into an odd one for her. Serinth was happier then even her per usual crazy happy and she was giggling like a child with a shiny new toy. Serinth I think you and I are transforming into something I’m not even sure about, lets confer on it later. Serinth agreed, not having a clue as to what Wolf was talking about.
Its always a pleasure to be working with you, Serinth informed Kaith, happy to be by her clutchmother like always. As the instructions of what she was to do came from Christae’s mouth she relayed them to Serinth, whom already began her task of tracking who was there and who was yet to arrive, with Wolf’s help. “All right Christae, no problem, I’m on it.”
Hasima greets you in return, and Rimith greets us as well. Inform Rimith that Hasima can come closer, and bring the rest of her little group too. Have Rimith tell Hasima to tell Akki, yes I know, a lot of people to go through dear, that my dimglow of a brother should be on his way. Serinth did just so, glad to be a go-between.
It seemed that she and R’xis always missed talking to each other, narrowly missing each other at gatherings, and managing only to say quick “Hello’s” and “Good-byes” when chances to spend time together so happened to present themselves. She was very curious about Akki and him, she’d really have to talk to one of them about their relationship, be nosy, and ask embarrassing questions, all that good stuff. Maybe she’d even get innocent little Serinth to do some of her dirty work for her. Ebbeth liked to reveal private things, he could be their loop hole.
~ ~ ~
The young boy bowed respectfully to the Candidate Master, acting as if he was standing on hot coals with the way he kept shuffling his feet and acting in such a restless manner. “I’m reporting in ma’am, I’m Sakareth from Ista Hold. I was searched by Aarora rider of Green Rasth, and brought here for the next hatching, as a Candidate ma’am.” The boy was so formal with the way he spoke, not wanting to be so much as a mark off when talking to someone as important as the Candidate Master. “She’s right over there ma’am, she asked me to take her to you, or vice versa, I’m sure either way would suffice as long as she gets to talk to you.”
He felt a bit of pride swelling, glad to have done his job properly and efficiently. He permitted his gaze to wander now, taking in the sight of the many dragons filling up the Weyrbowl, not to mention the dragonrider’s, whom he hoped to learn a lot from. A dream come true this place was for him, no matter how small. If anything it was better that the place was smaller, less intimidating, and more personal. A growing boy needed to have an eye kept on him that was for certain. Seth, the nickname the boy went by, wasn’t an exception to that rule by any means. He wanted a life of adventure just as much as the next boy, if not more. Everything was happening so fast that it was making him rather dizzy. At least the lad was remembering to breathe.
~ ~ ~
The greenrider inspected the outstretched hand before her, raising her eyebrow a bit, not meant as a rude gesture but once again as a teasing one. It wasn’t long before she found herself smiling, but rather than making contact to shake his hand like she’d expected to happen, two children came charging at him, which made her pull her hand back. She was now, instead, laughing melodiously, watching while he picked up one of the toddlers.
“Kids? Now this was definitely unexpected,” she said, shaking her head. She knelt down to level of the child remaining on the ground, a wide spread smile on her face, more of her hair slipping over her left shoulder. “Hey sweetheart,” she said, her voice taking on a different tone and pitch altogether. She listened to G’han’s question, looking up at him from her lower stance. If she had been disappointed by the presence of his children, she sure didn’t show it.
“Wait, let me guess,” she chuckled softly. “This was the result of your long distance admiration?” she said, stating it like a question, when really it had been a statement. She was having fun with this whole teasing thing, she was finding him to be a likely target for future fun. “Well I must ask then, are there more?” she wondered openly, looking over to where Christae’s son was hugging on to her leg lovingly. “I saw you spotting her too,” she said all-knowingly, sizing him up. “Are you a man of the public here?” There was a hint of flirtation in her voice, but again, if G’han took it as such he could’ve very well just been doing so out of his own sheer will, for it wasn’t clear whether or not she was still in the realm of playful jest.
Well, that was most unexpected... If it hadn’t mattered to Rasth’s rider, it had certainly done a number on the green.
At hearing another voice, identified immediately as male, the woman turned just enough so that she could look up at the face of the new arrival. She stood back up, taking a small step back so that she could look to both G’han and V’ian while being engaged in conversation.
“So I’m not the only one in need of help around here.” She placed her hands on her hips, her voice doused in amusement. “You new here too?” she asked of V’ian, wondering if Rasth was already getting all the dirty details on the man’s dragon.
This place is going to be one fun ride.
Count on it.

G'han looked over to Christae then back to the greenrider. One thought did come to his mind. I wish. But he didn't vocalize it, nor did Gerenanth care enough to pay attention to it. "Certainly not. These are my only two", G'han made sure to state to her. G'han really didn't want to explain much further infront of the twins. Perhaps later he could tell her the story? His facial expression and the look in his eyes asked her that question. If she was as aware as she had been earlier, she'd pick up on it and why now wasn't a good time.
Ah yes. Mine has only settled down once. The relationship didn't end well due to some miscommunications, but they've worked things out for the sake of the kids. Gerenanth, on the other hand, was more than willing to give some detail to the green that currently had his attention. His tail twitched slightly in anticipation. Gerenanth was in the mood to have his ledge occupied. G'han couldn't blame him either. The bronzerider had made his dragon stay away from flights for too long and now that Gerenanth had finally had the chance to participate, he didn't catch very often.
G'han looked over to the man that now joined the conversation. G'han would frown that his chances right now were ruined, but he really didn't mind. As the man talked, G'han paid only half attention to him with the other half diverted to the child in his arms as he played with him. G'han did scold himself often for not being there as a father like he should have been. But now that just meant he needed to make up for lost time. G'han certainly didn't mind spending as much time as he could with his kids. He ruffled Rehan's hair before looking up at the man. "Oh. What can I help you with?", G'han asked almost distractedly.

Hasimamine, Wolf beckons you and the others to come closer if you wish too. Also, we are requested to inform Ebbeth’s rider that her brother will be coming soon. Rimith told her rider politely, happy to repeat what she was told. Rimith had no idea of the double standard of ‘her brother’.
Hasima nervously stroked her hair, “Wolf wants us to come closer, to talk I’m guessing.” She paused and added quietly “And that R’xis should be on his way here.” She had to admit, she was also curious about the relationship between the boy and her friend. But there was no way she could ever ask for such personal details…perhaps someone else could though? Sooner or later she would find out, she was sure.
----
”Wolf wants us closer? Well, come on then.” Akki said with a grin as she looped her arm around Hasima and nodded for Marletta to follow if she wanted. They stopped a bit away from Wolf, not wanting to interrupt any conversations she could be having. Akki had noticed that Wolf and P’rin were hitting it off at the feast and was simply dying to ask questions. She had to know everything, know all the girly gossip. She couldn’t help it, her curiosity always was begging to be fed.
She looked around, hoping that R’xis would show up soon. “Does this mean I’m desperate?” She wondered under her breath. She didn’t want to be the desperate clingy type for that would just be far too embarrassing. She couldn’t help it though, she genuinely liked R’xis. It was just hard to tell since she flirted with almost everyone. She looked up as she noticed a new bronze and shook her head with wonder. People were just pouring in.
-----
V’ian hooked his hands behind his head a grinned crookedly, he had the same smile as his sister. “What gave it away then? Do I look hopelessly lost or do I have that new guy smell?” He asked Aarora playfully. He let his hands fall to his sides, “You’re new also? ‘Fraid you won’t be able to help me. No offense of course, I’ll make it up to you. Promise.” V’ian said with a wink and a nod. He couldn’t help but flirt slightly, like G’han he was a bronzerider. Wasn’t this what bronzeriders were supposed to do?
He smiled apologetically to G’han nonetheless, he didn’t mean to interrupt anything that was happening between him and the greenrider. “My name’s V’ian.” He said as he stuck out his hand for whomever to shake. He motioned with his head to Waeith. “That’s Waeith up there.”
Please forgive us for interrupting your conversation and intruding on your Weyr. Waeith said humbly for the two dragons and their riders to hear.
”I’m looking for someone.” He told G’han with a hopeless grin that almost said ‘I sort of misplaced her’. “Last I heard she was at this Weyr. She probably Impressed a green. Would you know her by any chance?” He paused before remembering to add, “Her name is Akkivahna, yeah?”
Ooc|| ;c You all saw it coming. And it’s obvious who he is talking about. But I’m trying to make it so V’ian and Akki don’t wind up meeting for a while xD So all play dumb and pretend you have no idea who Akkivahna isplz? I owe you guys one if so ;c

“Aww Akki don’t encourage Issaeyith I don’t want her to intrude in others’ business,” Marletta said to the bluerider with a small frown meant for Issaeyith.
How else were we supposed to find out who the rider is? You would not have asked. Besides she didn’t seem /that/ upset.
What do you mean that upset?
Well… she was sleeping but it’s fine.
Marletta groaned and then turned to Hasima, “Oh,” she said thinking about it for a moment before smiling, “Thanks, Hasima!” It was at this point that Akki began attempting to cast her ‘spell’ and Marletta could not contain her laughter. She glanced up when Wolf called their names and waved though she doubted the gold rider saw, she was surrounded by people. How she was able to stand being in front of so many people, and not be nervous Marletta did not know. The fact her wave probably was not seen didn’t matter as Hasima said that Wolf wanted them closer. She nodded back to Akki and followed them over.
There don’t seem to be many other Weyrlings here, let alone with their dragons maybe you shouldn’t be out here?
But I want to help clean our Weyr, mine.
Fine then, Marletta scratched Issaeyith’s eyeridges and almost ran into Akki when she stopped suddenly.

Kelioth had just been settling back down to sleep when another dragon bespoke her. Sh’ham grinned, It should be expected, love. We’re strangers to this Weyr people are curious.
The green dragon’s annoyance disappeared when she realized that it was a male dragon speaking to her. Good day to you too, Mneith. Thank you for your warm welcome to your Weyr. My rider, Sh’ham, and do hope to be able to be able to aid in the clean-up. Kelioth’s eyes whirled.
She then said to her rider,Brown Mneith and his rider Rhia send their greetings. Oh, I do like it here.
Sh’ham snorted, Only because the guys are paying attention to you. Behave yourself He nodded to Rhia as she strode by.
Then the Jr. Queen bespoke Kelioth. She replied quickly with, Greetings to you and your rider Serinth! Hope you are doing well this day.
Sh’ham was scanning the Weyr Bowl when he spotted the bluerider waving her arms in his direction. He quirked an eyebrow before grinning and shaking his head, now what was that about?

OOC: Add more fuel to the fire! G'han's going to get quite a reputation hes going to have to clear up. Lets just hope she lets him rofl. Plus..Priath is one of the dragons who will rise soon and theres a new bronzerider for Anassa to check out.
Priath let loose a short bugle. Good morning Ebbeth! We are well. I hope the same for you and yours. Rimith, Kilzanth and the rest of you, good morning as well. The dark green had already sent her greetings to the Queens of the Weyr. Anassa waved to Akki and the rest of the group and then went to see if G'han needed any help with the children. She and the bronzerider had spent some time keeping an eye on the two when Rhia had been out of the Weyr with the Candidates.
"Good morning. G'han, I saw that the twins escaped the drudges and it looks like WLM Rhia is busy. Do you need any help with them?" She glanced over to the newcomers. She gave a smile for the new greenrider but her gaze lingered longer on the bronzerider. His dragon certainly was handsome, and he wasn't bad looking either. Anassa mentally chided herself for such thoughts about a newcomer to the weyr. However, Priath was rising soon, so it wouldn't hurt to weigh her options.
"Hello and welcome to Dark Moon. I'm Anassa, rider of green Priath. If you're new here, you should check in with the Weyrwoman." She gestured to where Christae stood with Wolf.

P'rin grinned at Akki. "Of course. I'm not some pansy who is afraid of getting dirty. I am a Master Tanner Akki. We don't stay very clean while we are working. Though I always take care to clean off afterwards." He chuckled.
"Kilzanth is doing well. Arrogant as always."
You shouldn't listen to him, he likes to exaggerate.
"I do not. Anyway, I hope you and Ebbeth are doing well." P'rin turned to Hasima. "Good morning to you as well Hasima. How are you and Rimith?" He gave a warm smile for the normally shy girl. How she wound up friends with Akki was beyond his comprehension. Akki was very outgoing and Hasima was quiet. He walked closer to Wolf with Akki after Hasima mentioned that Wolf wanted the group to come closer. He wasn't sure if that meant him as well but it wouldn't hurt.
Good morning clutch sister Rimith, and you as well Priath. Ebbeth, I hope you aren't getting into too much trouble. Save some for the rest of us. There was a hint of draconic amusement in the bronze's voice.
Serinth, it is always a pleasure to speak with you.

Rhia smiled. "Welcome to Dark Moon Weyr then Candidate Sakareth. For now, the Candidate Barracks are unusable so you will be staying in a room in the Lower Caverns with the other male Candidates. Today, we will be cleaning up the Weyr. I'll let the WW know you are here so she can assign you to a work crew. One of the drudges can show you to your room and you can put your things down."
She flagged down the drudge that had been chasing after her children. "I'm sorry WLM Rhia, they got away from me." The man was flustered. "Bronzerider G'han said he'll take care of them. Is that ok?" He looked anxious.
"That's fine. You might wind up with them soon though because I think G'han has been assigned to help with some of the Holds and he won't be taking my children *between*. I would like you to show Candidate Sakareth here to his new abode. After, see if he needs anything to eat and show him back here. The children will probably go with you by then. I think the Headwoman will let her help make meat pies to keep them occupied. It will mean a mess to clean later but they'll be entertained."
The man gave a short bow. "Yes ma'am. If you'll follow me Candidate." The drudge showed the Candidate respect as was his due but a lot less respect than he showed the WLM/CM.
Rhia smiled. "I'll see you later Candidate. Hurry back after you have put your things down and grabbed something to eat if you are hungry. I think the WW will be starting soon. I'll go speak to Greenrider Aarora." She waited until the Candidate and drudge had started out and then started to make her way through the crowd, nodding or speaking greetings to the riders she knew as she passed.
She caught the wave of the new greenrider and paused. "Welcome to Dark Moon greenrider. I'm Rhia, rider of brown Mneith, Candidate Master and Weyrling Master. Thank you for coming to help." She wanted to learn a bit more about Sh'ham but she needed to see what the other greenrider wanted. "I'd chat more but I have duties to attend to. Have a good day." She nodded and then continued to where G'han, another new rider, and the greenrider stood with the twins.
She noted the way he was looking at her and made a mental note to talk to G'han about using discretion in front of their children. She was fine with him courting someone else but she didn't want that to become detrimental to her children in any way. She was rather amused with the fact that he had been looking over several of the women in the weyr. Drudges gossiped and Rhia was often up early. It didn't bother her any. She was more than ready to move on herself. She had feelings for G'han, but there were platonic now. He was the father of her children and they had been close. But she was a different woman now. She had been just a wingrider when they were together. Now she was Weyrling Master and Candidate Master. She just wanted to make sure some other woman would not turn her children against her or have to field awkward questions about their father's actions.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Giana gave a shy smile to the greenrider. "You ride dragon?" The little girl smiled. She had her mother's auburn hair but her father's eyes, just as her brother had his mother's eyes but his father's hair color.
“But Marletta.” Akki whined loudly, making her seem a lot younger than the girl she was talking too. She was a pro at making herself seem younger however. “I need a gossip connection! Issaeyith happens to be ideal. Her and I will get along excellently, you see.” She announced with a sniff as she grinned down towards the green. Part of her had always wondered what it would be like to have a female dragon, she couldn’t help it. She was curious as to what it be like, the flights and everything. She participated with Ebbeth and won a few but there was always the option to simply leave if they didn’t want to participate. Female dragons and their riders didn’t really have that option.
She sneaked a glance at Sh’ham before her eyes went wide and she ducked behind Marletta. “Oh. My. Word.” She declared as she continued to hide. “The new greenrider saw my wiggling dance. I’m officially embarrassed.” She grabbed onto Marletta’s arm and shook the girl slightly, “What am I going to do? Can I say it was someone else if he ever asks? Or can I tell him he’s silly and I don’t know what he is talking about?” It wouldn’t be the first odd impression she gave someone, nearly everyone was introduced to her in a…unusual way – to put it politely.
Dear Priath, can’t you tell we are already stirring up trouble? Ebbeth said with a hint of amusement towards the green. It had been a while since the two talked. He was pretty sure the last time he was covered in kids with his sense of manliness going down every time one of them called him ‘Ebbet’ or ‘Eb’. It was fine of course, he likes the young ones. He would just deny it if someone asked him. The blue turned his attention to Kilzanth and snorted silently, For that comment, I am not sharing my trouble with you. I can do this you know. I’m older. And better The blue had a habit of teasing the other dragons, especially the ones who were younger than him.
Akki waved her hand in the air, “Fair enough P’rin. I’ll give you that.” She tucked some hair behind her ear and grinned, “I like Kilzanth enough to forgive him, of course.” She leaned in close to the boy, eyeing him. “Sooooo…” She began as she rocked back and forth on her feet, looking as innocent as she could possibly. “What’s going on between you and Wolf?” Personal boundaries meant nothing to her, she had no problem with prying.
----
Hasima smiled back at Marletta, forever thankful that the girl did not take what she said offensively. That would have just been horrid!
Priath wishes as a good morning. The pale yellow said pleasantly to her rider, crooning from where she was. And to you as well cluth-sister It had been a while since Rimith had seen this many dragons in one place. It was quite nice actually.
She gave a small smile to P’rin followed by her usual blush that couldn’t be prevented. “Good morning.” She replied softly. She felt bad that she didn’t talk more with the people her were in her Weyrling class. She was never the talkative type and most people knew that, but she still felt a bit bad about it nonetheless. “We’re doing fine. All ready to clean.” She smiled a small smile again. Part of her was embarrassed that Akki was asking such personal questions, but another part also wanted to know.
Your rider and Serinth’s rider seem to be a popular topic today. Rimith said, teasing Kilzanth happily.
G'han looked confused at the new bronzerider. "Can't say I heard that name before", G'han shrugged. If it resembled any familiar name to him, he was too distracted with the children to pick up on it.
He looked up at Anassa, who offered her help with the kids yet again. "You would think the twins would call you aunt or something by now, as often as you take care of them", G'han joked as he stood up straight, leaving Rehan on the ground with his twin. The father ruffled the boy's hair to let him know he wasn't being put aside. "The extra eyes would be appreciated. I'm starting to appreciate what the others say when they talk about these terrible twos", G'han admitted. However, he probably wouldn't admit they might have gotten it from him. But he did think it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A blue dragon popped from between. Riding him were his rider and a young boy. The dragonrider shouted, "We can't land in all this debris so we'll have to slide off and let Ardeth land elsewhere". The boy simply nodded and the dragon flew down. Just as he was hovering over the ground at a safe height, the two slid off and the blue took off to the skies. The bluerider pointed out Rhia to the candidate. "Go see her over there, she's the current candidate master and she'll get you squared away", he instructed the lad.
The boy said nothing but simply walked over to the woman who was standing near a group of riders, it seemed. "I am Dicar, a new arrival, and I was told to see you to get squared away", the boy said simply to Rhia when he was close enough for her to hear him.

Tanwen nodded at Sh'ham's reply; she attempted a smile, but it sort of ended up more the sort of smile that never seems very friendly. She'd been reminding herself lately that she was no longer shoved in the back of a glasscraft hall, and that she would have to interact with people more and more - moreso than just the people she deemed worth talking to. Considering this man here was a rider from another weyr, she figured she should at least try to make some sort of good impression for Dark Moon. If she did impress at the next hatching (and of course she really wished to), she would be there for life.
Unfortunately, she was a rather horrible conversationalist. When the comment from the rider didn't bring any others, and he just chuckled to himself over something, she found herself wondering if she should try and say something more, you know, in an attempt to still be friendly. Tanwen glanced around the weyrbowl as more people poured in, finding herself at a blank for ideas on converastion (no surprise there, considering glass never spoke back). In the end, she just sort of copped out and said, "Lot of people here."
- - -
K'ris had stayed put while the people continued coming in, though he did find himself stepping closer to Queroth so that the bottom of his legs were pressing against the dragon's side. The boy wasn't used to crowds, and even the hatching had seemed empty compared to the amount of people pouring in now. Then again...he had been a bit distracted at the hatching, by the prospect of impression and all that.
These others are all nice people, K'rismine. Queroth spoke in reassurance to the boy's thoughts, tilting his head slighty. K'ris looked down to the dragon and gave a smile in thanks, and probably would have gone on with that conversation if someone hadn't spoken his name.
K'ris looked over to Kira when she stepped over, recognizing her from the wake-up call a few had given him the day before. He offered his usual lopsided smile and nodded to her. "Hey Kira," he said, looking around once and nodding to the general populace. "Looking forward to cleaning?" Whoo, small talk.
- - -
J'kiran stepped into the Weyrbowl next, followed directly by the bronze Kaenith who stepped quicker to come up and walk beside him once they were nearing the crowd. He had been planning on waiting to head over to the weyrbowl before X'ion had been ready, but he hadn't been able to find the boy. Then as he'd been walking past the hallway for the temporary candidate barracks he'd thought of waiting for Kestrel, since they still hadn't spoken much, and after a few years of having no clue what she'd been up to he'd thought catching up would be nice. Unfortunately, waiting had been to no avail, and she'd never stepped down the hallway.
The young weyrling wasn't so sure now that he was actually out in the weyrbowl. He came to a stop in his walking somewhere around where the wolf/akki/hasima crowd was standing, and Kaenith sat down near him. There was no sign of either Kestrel or X'ion at the weyrbowl, and now he was curious as to where they'd gone off to. He wasn't really paying attention to any of the people around him, and his expression was a bit on the uneasy side. There was a coil of uneased worry in the pit of his stomach, though he wasn't entirely sure why. For all he knew, they were just running a bit late because they'd stopped to grab a bite to eat. Perhaps he was just worrying himself over nothing, but all the same he was still off in his own world of thought until someone pulled him out of it.
