Roxis scratched the side of Silken's face, watching as the feline wandered over to Akki. It was nice that the feline was so sociable with others. He coughed once, looking away at Akki's comment. Teasing definitely made him both nervous as well as embarrassed. He made it seem like he was neither, for his own sake, "it is cold I suppose." He looked from one girl to the other, feeling somewhat awkward since he was the only Candidate. Out of place was a good way of putting it. He knew that the female rider's wouldn't view him differently because of it but at the same time he just really wanted to know what it felt like to have such a powerful and magnificent dragon at your side, understanding how you feel as well as where your thoughts are coming from, all the time.

Akki's hand went straight to work, and soon she was petting the feline as she watched her purr and making other...interesting sounds. "Heh. Why can't flitts be like this? I think I'd like Sargon better if he was like this." She said with a grin, imagining the green covered in fur.
"I think Ebbeth wouldn't mind at the beginning, but he's the jealous type." Akki said with a snort of amusement. Ebbeth had no problem with Sargon, simply because Akki's flitt was just too sad to be jealous of, even though he was greatly amused by the green. "Aw, does Silken like to cause trouble for Lira?" Akki said, cooing at the cat.
"Tch. Loosen up Roxis." She said as she cast a wink at the boy before turning her attention back to the feline. She didn't think of Roxis as a candidate, or a 'lesser ranked person' or anything like that. She didn't think of anyone like that. She simply thought of him as...well, as Roxis. Nothing more and nothing less. He was just who he was to her.
Ebbeth was about to answer back but before words could escape him, he was under the water. He slipped away from the green and said, Tch. I'm a better swimmer than you. With that said, he slipped underneath her, and then swam in a circle around her.

Silken went from rubbing Akki to Roxis again. She was in full purr mood now, it could be heard as an undercurrent to their conversation. She jumped a little to rub against his leg before falling on the floor yowling, demanding their attention and affections.
Lira rolled her eyes, "The more attention you pay to her the more she seems to want." Her eyes switched between the two, "You should have brought towels. The season is getting late for swimming anyway isn't it? Why'd you come out here?"
Oh really? I think I should take that as a challenge. The green rumbled happily under water and with a powerful thrust of her tail went deeper into the lake. Think you can keep up? While a queen might not have a whole lot of space to spare the green could actually get a small workout from going around the lake. Avith's body moved from side to side as she swam, moving her rudder like tail to go faster trying to prove she was a better, and faster, swimmer than the blue.
Lira twitched slightly as she heard a splash and both dragons disappeared beneath the water. "I guess Avith is making friends." A small smile played across her face before turning back to Akki and Roxis, "Since I wouldn't want to disturb Avith by not being social enough, why don't we go towards the lower caverns for a hot cup of klah? I'd hate to keep you out here and you both get sick."

Roxis chuckled, smirking at Akki. "Yes, I can see that," he replied to Lira's comment about Silken. He continued to stroke the cat until she fell. "Aw, you okay there?" he asked, half-expecting the creature to reply until Lira's offer was made.
He looked to Akki, wondering if she wanted to. He waited to hear what she'd say. He knew that he was all for it, as long as she was of course. There would be plenty of time for him to get in some one on one with her later. "It would appear that Avith and Ebbeth are having some fun, it's really good for them." Roxis was happy that dragon's had the opportunity to enjoy themselves also. It would seem such a shame if they were working and nothing else.

"I should have, shouldn't I? I think I'm going to regret that now." Akki said, biting her lip as she shivered slightly as a breeze wrapped itself around her, like a cold embrace. "I suppose it is getting later in the season, soon it'll be too cold to swim. I came because I needed a break from everything, as did Ebbeth. People seemed to come from everywhere afterwards, enjoying themselves." She said, with a shrug, not really knowing the other's intentions on why they came out to the lake.
"As is Ebbeth. It's good too, I thought he'd shrivel up into nothing if he didn't meet a new dragon soon. He's too social for his own good." Akki said, a smile playing at her lips as the two dragons dissapeared from sight. "I'd love a cup of klah right now. I accept the invitation, but only if Roxis will. I don't want to leave him here to shrivel up in the water and become all wrinkley." She said with a grin, looking at the boy for his response.
It is a challenge my dear green. Ebbeth said as he watched her swim deeper into the lake. I can keep up with ease He said, as if almost insulted by the idea of not being able to keep up. He headed straight down, past Avith and into the almost black coloured waters, that were deep down. He blended in nearly perfectly, his colour a tad lighter. He twisted and swam quickly to catch up to the green even though he was under neath her, and soon him and her were going at the same speed.

The felined yowled at Roxis, then seeming to grasp that they were moving, hopped up and started back up the path. Lira giggled, "well it seems we better follow. Unless Roxis wishes to stay?" She smiled over to him awaiting his answer.
The green rumbled happily and kept pace with Ebbeth. She didn't really want to race, for if she did she might lose and that'd be a hurt to her pride. She came up for air before diving back below and making a slow spiral around the blue.

(( OOC| It's okay, we understand the pangs of homework Torva. *Winces, having things ish has to do this holiday too, big ones.* ))
Roxis laughed at what Akki had said, getting out of the water to follow the cat. He resisted the urge to warm Akki up some, seeing she was cold also. He extended a hand to her, wondering if she'd teasingly say he thought her incompetent. He waited, hand still extended for the girl to grab. He already felt warmer at the thought of having a warm cup of klah, imagining sitting by some sort-of heat source also.
"It sounds great to me," he commented. Another chill wind passed, making him want to run the whole way there. His teeth chattered, chilled to the bone.

Ooc|| -Would like to point she has no homework- I have no homework Akki looked at Roxis's extended hand, and took it in her own before clambering out of the lake and onto solid ground. "Brr." She said with another shiver. "Does anyone mind if I quickly change before we head to the lower caverns? As much fun as it sounds, staying in wet clothes wouldn't be too appealing." She said with a sly grin, as she attempted to get some water out of her clothes. Ebbeth watched as the green dissapeared for a moment to get some air, and then she came back in a matter of seconds. He watched as she spiralled around him before nudging her body with his head, before slipping into greater depths, which would literally pitch black. Seemed like a certain blue was playing hide and go seek.
