D'ran nodded. Aureth wolfed down some more. [glow=blue,2,300]I bet I can eat more than you![/glow]"What did I say about choking," D'ran said. [glow=blue,2,300]I never said fast, just how much.[/glow]

Nike looked at the two closely, then chuckled. NO! I will eat more than you! Ruanth said digging her head deeper. The Healer rolled her eyes. "I'm glad that we have dragons. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have one." She said smiling at D'ran. "They can be so comical sometimes. Like firelizards."

D'ran also laughed. "They are quite an act," he laughed.
Aureth stuck his head in the remaining meat. He chewed vigorously at it.

Nike nodded. "Older dragons are different though. But I am glad that I have gotten Ruanth when I did." She said. Oh she did miss Tirith, dearly, but the green wasn't here and didn't have the same thing as Ruanth did. Ruanth was just different. Plus she didn't have the influnce of Ebbeth. The Healer remembered her Weyrling days when she and Akki were great friends. The best really. But now Akki had Kia, and Nike had D'ran, K'dan and Ruanth.
Ruanth swallowed a huge chunk of meat, then rolled to the ground, her stomach full. Alright, you win Aureth. She said, her eyes closed, and she breathed heavily from eating so much.

Aureth was about to eat the chunk of meat that meant victory but let his legs slip and fell. [glow=blue,2,300]I am too full, I guess we tie.[/glow]

K'dan looked around to notice D'ran and Nike gone. He shrugged it off and walked back to his barracks. As he was walking G'han stopped him and asked him if he wanted to train. K'dan agreed and the two went off and trained.
G'han led K'dan to a decent enough training ground and began. "Ok K'dan since it is just you and me this is what we will do. You try to hit me. Land a blow without me ducking, dodging or blocking and the training is over", he said with a smirk.
K'dan agreed and went after him. It was difficult. G'han had more experience than him but he knew he could do it. After awhile each attack met with him blocking or dodging. He swung at him but G'han dodged again and elbowed him in the back. K'dan was knocked on the ground but soon got up. He turned and went after G'han again with a series of continous attacks. Finally he saw his opportunity and barely struck G'han on the cheek.
"Good job K'dan. You seem to be getting better by the day. Who knows eventually you might be a better fighter than me", he smiled at him while he spoke. K'dan suprised him today. He excused K'dan to his barracks and he went to his weyr. The boy is doing real good. He actually got you. It wasn't luck. ~I know Gerenanth. He will be a fine dragonrider and a reliable one too~, he responded to his dragon. He was proud of the weyrling.
