Christae told Kaith to send a message out to all the new Weyrlings. P'ren hadn't returned yet but he would be back soon. Meanwhile Christae was about to pull her hair out in frustration. She had nothing to do and she still had four months to go before the baby was born.
The Weyrlings were now a month old and growing quickly. Christae felt that they needed some instruction so she called them to the Weyrling Court. She had come up with a few lessons that would help the Weyrlings until P'ren and his dragon returned from vacation.

Kia came into the Weyrling Court a little uncertainly. She has not before known what this place was and had to ask Akki for direction. ((I'm sure you don't mind I randomly used your character )) Kylath was walking happily behind, a bounce in her step. She was oddly joyful today. Perhaps someone she saw. [shadow=red,left,300]Yes, perhaps that's right.[/shadow]The dragon had a bit of sarcastic tone. Kia glared gently at the Copper and sighed. She dropped her shoulders and took a couple tentative steps towards Christae. Was she the first one here?

~Kaith says to meet her in the Weyrling Court.~ Ronoth told B’kin. B’kin, who had been laying on his cot, jumped up. Perhaps they’d be starting some Weyrling Lessons. He’d been eager to start them because the sooner the lessons, the sooner they’d be able to fly. “Do you know where the Weyrling Court is Ronoth?” Ronoth told B’kin he didn’t know where it was. “I guess we’re going to have to wander around and look for it…” The weyrling pulled on his boots and left the barracks with Ronoth following. ~I hope we’re not late,~ Ronoth said, eager to start the lessons too. B’kin nodded in agreement when he spotted Kia and Kylath. Maybe she knows where the Weyrling Court is, he thought. B’kin and Ronoth followed Kia. They finally arrived at the Weyrling Court. He grinned when he noticed that they were one of the first one’s to arrive. “Hey Kia,” he said running up to her, “How’d you know where this place was? We had to follow you to find it.”

Kia looked back as B'kin came up to her. "Hey," she said and smiled at Ronoth. Kylath said hi, still feeling very cheery. It could have just been that Kylath got to eat a huge meal, be oiled, and then lounge for the day. That was probably it. "When I got the message i found Akki and asked her. She gave me directions so..." the rider trailed off.

K'dan was following G'han to the weyrling court. He was out training with G'han and D'ran and now he was leading him to the weyrling court when they had been summoned. G'han decided to stay in the background and watch the others. K'dan walked out and greeted Kia and B'kin who were already there. Hydrath followed behind him. K'dan looked behind him to see if Nike would be here soon or if she was coming at all, after all she did hurt herself. He gave a happy sigh as he thought about the good times he had with her.

Christae looked up. Kaith was sitting beside her. "I apologize if you had a hard time finding the Courtyard. Kaith tell the rest of the Weyrlings where they must go." The Sr. Queen obliged. "Today I will lay down a few rules and teach you a bit. We don't have our Weyrlingmaster as of yet but you must know this. I will wait until more of you arrive."
((When you have replied to the lesson your names will be crossed out))

“So you asked someone. I should have done that… that would’ve been the smart thing to do.” B’kin said glancing down at Ronoth who looked up at his rider. ~Don’t blame me.~ “Hi K’dan” B’kin greeted the other weyrling.

D'ran came in with a freshly washed pair of clothes. G'han and K'dan had gone straight here but he had wanted to get a new pair. The Weyrling had glanced around for Nike but to no avail. He decided it would not be smart to have two Weyrlings not there. One was a little better. Aureth continued to look around for Ruanth and her Mine. The Blue relayed Kaith's message to D'ran. The Harper nodded and soon found the Courtyard. He looked at those there and walked in. Suni popped from /between/ and chirped happily. "Hey, everybody," he said to them and stood by K'dan. "How's it going," he asked his friend.

"Better now that I have had time to rest. Though I think now I am starting to get use to G'han's style of training. It's brutal but I am not bruising as easily as the first couple of times. I only ended up with a couple of bruises this go around. What about you?", he said.

D'ran gave a small shrug. "It really pushes you to the limit but I really should train," they boy said. He looked at the peope around, wondering of the other Weyrlings would arrive soon. Aureth went up to Hydrath with a smiled. [glow=blue,2,300]Hey.[/glow]

Hello Aureth. Something tells me this is good news that we are here. ~It is good news, do not worry so~, K'dan told his dragon.
G'han snuck behind the two boys. "What's a matter. My training techniques to brutal for the two of you", he whispered jokingly. G'han get out of there before Christae decides to put you back through weyrling lessons again. It is something I wish not to repeat. G'han laughed at his dragon but only stepped back and hid himself well behind the two boys, so as not to get caught.

Adrian and Verdeth ran to the weyrling traning as soon as they got up, they couldn't wait to see the other green riders, they hoped there were more. Verdeth was now getting a little bigger, but not too much. She ate a lot, but was slowing down just a tiny bit. She came into the grounds and looked around. It was Weyrwoman, not P'ren, he must of not returned yet, huh. "Hello everyone, it's good to see you all." said Adrian as she entered.

The Sr. Queen wishes us to meet her and her mine in the Weyrling Court. Reinath told her mine without interest in going. ~Maybe we are finally going to start weyrling lessons. I hope so, I am getting bored of exploring the weyr, there are too many places that are off limits.~ Miya replied to the queen. The two set off for their destination. Miya knew where to find it from many explorations of the hold, for the two had less to do everyday, though many days included bathing, feeding, and caring for the grumpy queen. The two entered the court, Reinath holding her head up high. SHe couldn't wait for it to become apparant of her color by size alone.

T'rin walked into the Court, which he had found by simple exploration. It had made him a bit late, but he wasn't the last here and Amparath was glad to see the other dragons. He walked over to Kylath.
Hello. How are you? He also said hello to Miya's Mine. Good day, Reinath.
T'rin headed over to Miya. "Hi," he said, "how've you been? I've not seen you around where I've been the past few days."

Nike walked in, late like she normally did. Her hair was spiked with a new gel she found useful for wounds, and styling your hair. It looked wet, but was dry. Her left arm was covered by an odd leather arm band. The band was tight and brown. It came from her elbow to her hand. It let her thumb and fingers free. It was a lot eiser to have this on then her sling. Ruanth was walking beside her rider. Nike nodded to other Weyrlings when she entered. The Healer took a place near Christae, D'ran, and K'dan. Hello Hydrath, Aureth. The white said softly to the two blues.
Nike sighed as she straighted out her tunic, then looked at the Weyrwoman. "Do I have to go though Weyrling Lessons again? I know everything, more than G'han, and Ruanth won't be able to fly for like five Turns." The rider said, a little tired.

D'ran smirked at G'han. "No, I am fine the way it is and I don't mind how tough because, after all, you are only human," he said in a wise voice. G'han had his limits too as did everyone.
Aureth brightened up when Ruanth and Nike walked in. [glow=blue,2,300]Hello, Ruanth.[/glow]The Harper waved to Nike and smiled at what she said to the Weyrwoman.

Kylath smiled when the Bronze came. [shadow=red,left,300]Hello[/shadow]Kia struggled to hide her smile when t'rin tried to make conversation with the second-to-rudest person in the Weyr.

NIke waved to D'ran and took a step towards him. "Like my hair?" She asked. "I found this gel that works really well to cover up a wound without bandages, and it works great for your head! Want some?" The Healer grinned. She had sent in the recepie and everything for it to the main Healer Hall. MasterHealer Chad was very greatfull. He had named the gel after her, The Nike Bandage, he called it.

D'ran ran a hand through his messy hair. "Sure," he said simply. The Harper shrugged and wondered how his hair would look if it were actually styled.

"Uh um." Christae cleared her throat. "Whoever comes after now will be late. I gave everyone sufficient time to arrive. Nike, you are a Weyrling. Ruanth is different from Tirith and we have added things to the Weyrling curriculum. I will give you a few lessons myself until our WeyrlingMaster returns."
"First off I want to make sure everyone knows me. We have had quite a few newcomers lately. I am Christae. I am your Weyrwoman and rider of Sr. Queen Kaith. We have a Weyrling Queen that will become Jr. Queen on graduating from Weyrling Class and from the instruction I will give her. Until then, no one is ranked higher or lower than her or anyone else."
"I have heard rumors of people here pulling rank and thinking that one dragon is more important than another. I want this to stop immediately." Christae stressed the immediately. "I want this to be perfectly clear. Greens and blues are NOT low ranking dragons. Neither are whites. Greens and blues can outfly a brown, bronze, copper or gold in agility any day. A bronze, brown, or gold can outlast a green, blue or white in any contest of endurance. The Weyr needs every color, and I mean EVERY color. We do not value a dragon due to its size or color. We value all dragons equally. It just so happens that some dragons are better suited to some jobs."
"Queens are just that Queens of dragons. They lay viable eggs. They are UNABLE to chew firestone. The firestone won't hurt a Queen's ability to lay eggs. It will just give her indegestion. Queenriders are the ones who keep the Weyr organized. We are in charge of knowing herb lore and dragon lore. We keep the Weyr in shape along with our Weyrleaders."
"Bronzes are our largest males, thus they normally mate with Queens. We have had instances of browns mating with them also. Bronzes usually impress leader-types. So do browns. That is why you see bronzeriders and brownriders with Wingleader and Wingsecond positions. Kylath will be included among the bronzes and browns due to her size."
"Greens are infertile. They are lusty and mate far more often than a Queen. Greens and blues are the swiftest and most agile for short distances. They catch the Thread that passes the ranks of bronzes and browns. They are our defence when the bronze and brown dragons cannot catch all of a clump. If Ruanth matures enough to fly and flame, as I am sure she will, she will be with the greens and blues"
"Our Queenrider Wing is made up of the Queens, pregnant or convalescing riders that are not quite able to go through a normal Fall. They are the last defence. They fly low with flame throwers to catch any stray thread that the upper defences miss."
"What I will say next will probably make you angry but I cannot stress this enough. I do not want ANY of you taking part in any sexual activity until your dragons are mature. You are young and so are your dragons. Your dragons also feel EVERYTHING you do. If you take part in any sexual activity you may compromise your dragon's health. Also, dragons are enough of a handful for you to care for without having to take care of a baby. I will not allow any pregnant Weyrling to go unpunished. The girl AND her partner will have to care for their child along with their dragonets. They will have to make every class in addition to taking care of their child and dragon AND doing punishment chores. I cannot stress this enough. NO SEX or any related activities."
"You all know how to feed your dragons. Tomorrow you will report to the feeding pens to cut your dragons' meat yourselves. The dragons will hunt and the meat will be gutted and skinned but tomorrow the drudges will not cut your dragons' meat for them. That is your job. You all know how to clean your dragons. Make certain that they are well oiled. If you don't care for their hide while they are growing their hide will be imperfect when they are fully grown. Imperfect hide means death to a dragon in Between. If you have any questions ask them now."

"Hello Nike. Is your arm feeling any better", K'dan asked as he scooted a bit closer to her to talk. Hello Ruanth. The dragon replied back simply.
"Shhh Nike Christae might see me here", G'han said. "K'dan you should have told her not to mention my name, sheesh", he said to the weyrling jokingly as he snuck away to a place that could hide him. Gerenanth laughed at his rider's foolishness. Your curiosity might get the better of you. I suggest you get out of there before you are spotted.
Both K'dan and G'han listened to what the weyrwoman had to say. G'han wasn't a weyrling but listening wouldn't hurt. He was glad that he wasn't a weyrling especially because he had a weyrmate who was with child.
