D'ran was also silently creeping up to the beast.
He made sure he was behind it so he couldn't be seen.
Aureth was also watching.

Nike stole a glance at D'ran. She went slower, and more carefully as she headed to go behind the beast.
Ruanth turned to Aureth.
Nike will win. She said, totally lying. But Aureth didn't know that.

D'ran got close to the beast and moved silently.
He held the knife tightly.
He had decided to go for the neck.
Aureth smiled.

Nike didn't want to look foolish when she would lose, so she decied to be slow and careful.
The healer took advantage of her lightness on her feet, and took three steps and she was then behind the beast. Her breathing was slow, and light.
Ruanth snorted.
Not even in your dreams will your Mine beat Mine! She said laughing.

Aureth laughed.

D'ran leapt up and sliced at the beasts neck.
At first his knife did not go deep and the beast kicked up.
D'ran quickly regained his balance and slit a deep cut in its neck.
The beast fell to the ground with a loud thump.

Nike stoped when D'ran had killed the beast. She hid a grinned and put her knife away before clapping as she walking towards him. "Good job." She said, with sad sigh. "Well, do you want your reward first, or to gut this thing first?"
The Healer asked standing before the Harper. Hand out for the bloody dagger.
Ruanth rolled her eyes.
My mine let your mine win. You are such a wherry-head Aureth.
she said watching her rider and D'ran.

Aureth didn't really understand what Ruanth meant,
He thought she was just defending her Mine.

D'ran looked at Nike, suprised that he had won.
"Uuuh, I-" he was interrupted by Aureth.
[glow=blue,2,300]I am hungry.[/glow]"You heard the dragon," he said with a shrug.

Nike nodded.
"Alright. So you want me to skin it?" She asked, wipping her dagger and put it in her boot. Not even seen in the tight leather. Made for thing such as that.
I am too! The white complained.

"Well, I don't exactly know how so well," he said, looking at his handy work.
He kneeled down.
"Oh, here you go," he said, handing her the dagger.

((A little late there.))
"Thanks." Nike said, took the dagger and started cutting the beasts hide. After there were cuts, she started skinning.
Soon the skin was off, and was a pile on the ground. Nike moved on with bloody hands and dagger for the bones, meat and guts.
A few minutes later, there were four piles. ONe for the skin, one for the bones, guts and meat.
"We need to get the dragons in here. They will share this." She said nodded for her dragon to come into the pen to feed.
The Healer had taken out a clean cloth, and was wiping up her hands and blade.
"Good job D'ran."

"Liar!" Nike said putting her things away.
"Want your prize now?" Asking like she wanted to get it overwith.
Ruanth dove towards the pile of freshly cut meat and started to wolf it down.

Aureth stuck his mouth into the pile, eating heartily.
Jokingly, he "pushed" Ruanth with his side.

Ruanth glared at Aureth when he pushed her.
She pushed him back and ate heavily.
Nike sighed, and moved her head towards D'ran's.
She was slow, and slowly touched his lips with her own.

D'ran did not really react.
He kept his arms down, not really thinking about it.
It would be short so it wouldn't be awkward for long.
Aureth continued to eat.
He would get her when there was nothing left.

Nike pulled away then turned to the two dragons.
"You think that you can eat any faster?" She asked the two dragons with a laugh.
Ruanth didn't even glance up as she ate.
Yes I can. Do you want me too?
"No, you will choke, then die." She said rolling her eyes.

Nike laughed.
"Well, after they are done, we can go get washed." She said looking down at her still sllightly red hands.
She didn't like skinning, but it was something she had taken up after hunting. Her father was only a farmer, but he enjoyed to help hunt. So he would take his daughter out to help get small game. THen he would skin the beasts with her.
THat was the only reason Nike hunted and skinned. It remined her of the good times with her father.

He noticed the scrapes on his sides from when he slid and the bit of blood on his hands.

Nike turned to D'ran to see his scrapes.
"See me about those after you are done washing."
She said nodding towards them, then turned to the two dragons.
The white lifted her bloody head to look at her rider.
I am almost done. She said before diving back into the pile.
"That's good to know." Nike said in an undertone.
