G'han had fallen asleep while taking a bath. He had trained really hard and was now exhausted. He wasn't even noticible in the bathing pool. When Rhia called to him he didn't hear her.

Rhia waited for an answer and then shrugged. She figured that he was not in the weyr. She opened up the vest she had over her tunic, sweating from the heat of her riding gear. She went to the chest with her clothing and took out a clean pair. She laid them on the bed and then looked around.
The weyr was a bit messy. Both she and G'han had been rather busy as of late. She placed their dirty clothing in a pile for the drudges. She hung up Mneith's riding straps and then picked up her riding gear, hanging them up to dry.

Rhia walked into the bathing room and stopped short. She shook her head and then went back into the sleeping room. She grabbed a pitcher of water from a chest and felt the liquid. It was rather cold, much colder than the water in the bathing pool. She returned and tossed the cold water on the sleeping form of her weyrmate.

The cold water made G'han jump right out of the water, reacting in suprise. He looked to notice his weyrmate in the bathing room and he had jumped out in the middle of a bath. He darted back in the water and asked her for a towel.

Rhia burst out laughing at his reaction and turned. she heard Mneith's draconic roar of laughter from his ledge. She grabbed a towel and handed it to him. "Next time you won't fall asleep, right?" She thought for a moment. "Although now I guess I can't complain if you do the same to me."

G'han quickly dried and changed while her back was turned and came up behind her and gave her a hug. He went to bed but didn't fall asleep.

Rhia smiled and followed him into their sleeping quarters. She sat down at her desk and pulled out some scrolls. She trimmed her wherry feather quill and went to dip it in her ink.
"It would help if I unstoppered the bottle." She said a bit frustrated. She pulled out the cork and dipped her quill. She began to write.

G'han laughed at his weyrmate and picked up a book and began reading it. Back when he was at the hold he rarely read anything. Even when he came to the weyr he carried that trait, it wasn't until Rhia and himself told each other how they felt and began spending more time together that he started becoming an avid reader. He picked up where he left off and soon he was caught up in the book.

Rhia placed the feathered edge of her quill against her closed mouth, her face in an expression of concentration. She wrote down a few more things and then threw the quill down. She stoppered her ink and rose, stretching to her tiptoes and raised her heands, stretching her lean dragonrider body. She sank back down to her feet and walked to the ledge where her dragon was reclining.

G'han placed the book down that he was reading and stood behind Rhia and wrapped his strong arms around her and rested his head on her head.

Rhia tilted her head up. "Is that a good head rest for you?" She quipped.

G'han lifted his head from hers and kissed her when she tilted her head up. "Yes it is", he said. He scratched Gerenanth on the eyeridges. I am feeling tired. I will go to sleep now. "I think I will head to bed too. I am may not fall asleep but I can atleast be laying down. He kissed his weyrmate on the cheek and crawled in bed.

She smiled and watched him go. Mneith went inside too, rumbling a goodnight to his fellow weyrmates. Rhia stayed on the ledge, watching the sun set. She watched as the stars winked into existance and Pern's two moons rose over the horizon. She sat on the edge of the ledge with her feet swinging over.

Not too long after crawling in bed, G'han fell asleep. He turned to the side like he normally would to cuddle with Rhia, but she wasn't there, though he didn't notice. He still lay sleeping, though unknown to him she wasn't in his arms.

Rhia finally rose and went to bed. She stood, looking down at her weyrmate for a while. She moved off and quickly slipped into a night shirt and soft breeches. Then she carefully slid under the blankets, trying not to wake her tired weyrmate.

G'han stirred a bit and wrapped his arms around Rhia and drew her close, still sleeping.

She smiled, nestled her head against his shoulder and fell asleep.

G'han awoke in real early in the morning from his sleep. It's that nightmare again isn't it. Gerenanth said as he awoke to G'han stirring about. ~Yes, I wish it would go away but I don't think it ever will. Not until I know what happened that day. I need to clear my head. I am going out to train~, he told his dragon. He changed to some comfortable, worn clothes and headed out to train.

Rhia woke as the chill of the morning hit her. She missed G'han's warmth and opened her eyes. The early morning light filtered in through the weyr's opening. Mneith was already on the fireheights. She looked around in the weyr and was disappointed to find that he was gone. She dressed in warm clothing, winter was beginning to take its hold and then went down. She asked a few people if they had seen her weyrmate but all gave the same answer. He had not been seen since yesterday.
Christae did not have any work for them so Rhia saddled up Sundance. She convinced Gerenanth to tell her where G'han was. Rhia picked up some sweet rolls and a skin full of klah and set out to find her weyrmate. Gerenanth had told her that G'han had woken almost every night with bad dreams. She intended to confront him for not telling her what was wrong.

G'han was out training hard. His shirt soon became drenched with sweat and was getting a bother to wear. In frustrastion he threw it off to the side. He continued even harder. You are wearing yourself down. "Nonsense. I can handle alot more than this", he said stubbornly. Mine Rhia is on her way to talk to you. "Why what did you tell her? You had better not told her what I think you did", he said. I did, G'han she needs to know and you need to air it out. Maybe then your nightmares will go away. "Just shut up. You have opened your mouth too much already. I deal with this how I want", he said angrily. Gerenanth spoke to Rhia. G'han will be a pain to talk to but remember he is really hurting on the inside so be gentle and easy with him.
