"I just wanted to see if you were awake." Her sweet voice was almost drowsy. She moved back so she could see his face. She could see him clearly, despite the darkness. "Nothing is wrong, nothing at all." Her voice was a quiet murmer. She slipped her arms around him and hugged him tightly before loosening her hold. Her dragon stirred and then fell asleep again. Rhia's grey eyes shone in the moonlight that came through the weyr's entrance.

G'han looked at her, "Yes I am awake, admiring your beauty. When she loosened her grip he pulled her closer and kissed her. "I was hoping I could watch you as you slept", he said with a chuckle.

It was Rhia's turn to be puzzled. "What beauty?" She chuckled as well. "I don't think I'm sleepy enough to sleep at the moment."

"Don't even start that. You are very beautiful. If it's one thing my father taught me it's that beauty doesn't come from just the outside but from the inside as well", he said as he kissed her on her forehead. "Why can't you go to sleep? I thought you were tired?" he asked.

Rhia's eyes met his gaze. "I still am tired, I just am not sleepy enough to fall asleep."

"Well what to do then, neither of us can sleep. I think that is what a bed is made for though. I guess we will just lay here looking at each other then", he said nestling a bit closer to her.

Rhia sighed. She tucked her head in the hollow of his shoulder and waited for sleep to claim her.

G'han looked down at his weyrmate, she seemed calm and at peace when she was in his arms. He smiled as he looked down at her. He wasn't all that tired and would stay up just to watch her sleep.

Rhia began to feel tired. "Goodnight." She mumbled softly. Her features relaxed. The crows' feet around her eyes vanished and her taunt body loosened. She finally fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

"Goodnight love", he said softly. He watched her as she slept but fell asleep not long after. He was determined not to go to sleep for fear that he might awake in the middle of the night to the nightmare that seemed to plague him almost every night. Fortunantly he slept peacefully with his weyrmate close in his arms.

Rhia woke up in the grey hours of the morning. She felt rested. Mneith was fast asleep on his couch. G'han was still sleeping beside her. She carefully slipped out of his arms. She grabbed her clothes and went to the bathing pool. She relaxed in the hot water for a few minutes before washing and dressing. She wrapped her long hair up into a bun and then slipped down the stairs of her weyr into the Weyr Bowl.

G'han awoke from his sleep noticing Rhia was gone. He shrugged and took a bath. He looked to Gerenanth, "I think I will ride you today, you could use the excersize. Tell Mneith to tell Rhia what we are doing so she doesn't wonder where I am". He lept on his dragon and the two took flight. G'han urged Gerenanth to go as fast as he could. He was going to work on his dragon's speed and agility. He would work on his endurance later so he wouldn't tire out the bronze before the day started.

Rhia ate quickly and went to tell Christae that she would be gone for the day. She then ran back up to her weyr. Mneith was awake and waiting for her. She quickly put on her riding gear and made sure that her dragon's straps were in good shape. She secured them on the large brown and then mounted. She looked around to see if anyone saw them and Mneith dropped off the ledge, spreading out his large wings and then flying just high enough to go /between/.

As G'han was riding Gerenanth he noticed Mneith go between. "Where in the world are they headed off to", he asked his dragon a bit distraught that she just left without saying anything. He would follow but with no idea where they were going that wouldn't work. He hopped off Gerenanth and went to ask Christae if he could do anything to help out.

Christae looked up. "Hello G'han. I suppose you are wondering what you can do today. I don't have any assignments. Take the day off." She told the Wingleader.

G'han sighed, nothing to do and he was bored. "So where did Rhia go", he asked her.

Christae sighed. "She didn't tell me exactly and I didn't ask. She said something about checking up on someone. She asked if I had anything that she needed to do and when I told her no she said that she would be gone for a few hours. She said that Kaith could bespeak Mneith if I needed anything."
She shrugged. "I think she just needs to get away from the weyr for a while. Don't worry about her. Mneith won't let her get into too much trouble."

"Ok thank you for the information", he told her. He sighed he knew today might be a slow day. He went out to train for awhile and then would bathe and read while waiting for Rhia to return.

Rhia emerged from /between/ around two hours before sunset. She dismounted from Mneith and took off his straps. She shucked off her riding jacket and tossed off her boots. She unclipped her helmet and flung it to the side.
"G'han? Are you here?"
