You are obviously getting blind. I am close to your size now and I am still growing. My rider is sure I will be one of the largest bronzes here. He said to Mneith smuggly. "Ok you two cut it out. Let's focus on the job at hand", G'han said. Soon they went between and started their job.

Rhia just chuckled just before the biting cold of /between/ tore through her warm layers of clothing.

G'han followed her lead and felt the cold as well. His body was more resiliant to weather and pain than most. He finally came from between and appeared where they needed to be. He took in a deep breath and let it out, it would be a long day.

Rhia shivered as they emerged in the cool autumn wind. It was warmer than /between/. They dismounted and Rhia ran in to give the message. They mounted again and continued on their errands.
One holder convinced them to stay for luch and the two riders took the time to stop. Rhia's face was a little bit pale under the tan she had begun to aquire while she flew straight. Her color returned after she warmed herself and ate. The holder's wife kept looking at Rhia and G'han and chuckling.
When they finally finished Rhia was tired. Mneith relayed the message about Kaith's clutching and Rhia gave the order for them to return to the Weyr.

G'han agreed to eat, knowing they would need it. He looked at the holder's wife, "What?".

The holder's wife blushed. "You two remind me of myself and my husband before we were married."
Rhia burst out laughing.

G'han choked a bit on his food. He swallowed and said, "Well we are weyrmates". He looked to Rhia, "It feels funny to say we are a young couple". Gerenanth laughed. It will obviously take you time to get use to that thought, it seems to overjoy you everytime you think about it. G'han finished his food and stood up, "Well that should be it. Let's go see Kaith's clutch. I am sure if any holds are left we can finish up after watching Kaith lay her eggs", he laughed and continued, "I imagine Kadan is tripping over himself trying to get down there.

Rhia laughed and smiled at her weyrmate. "This was the last hold." They thanked their hosts and then remounted. They hastened back to the Weyr and entered the grounds just before the gold egg was laid.

G'han thanked the people for their hospitality and led Rhia out to their dragons holding her hand. He mounted Gerenanth and waited for his weyrmate. When they were ready he gave the signal for them to go between when they had their destination in mind.

After she left the clutching Mneith deposited his weary rider on the ledge of their Weyr.
"You can go back to watch if you want."
You sure you will be ok Mine?
"Yes. I will be fine love, go enjoy the hatching." Rhia stripped off her sweat soaked riding gear and grabbed fresh clothes from her drawer. She walked into the bathing room and just let the clothing drop. She sank gratefully into the heated water of the pool, allowing herself to sink up to her neck. She did not realize how tired she actually was until she fell asleep in the hot water.

G'han came in not knowing Rhia was asleep in the bathing room. He looked around not able to find her. He shouted her name but still no answer. He just shrugged and prepared for a bath. He wrapped himself in a towel and got some new clothes ready. He went in the bathing room to notice Rhia asleep in the water. He went to her and woke her up. "It isn't a good idea to fall asleep in here", he said.

Rhia jerked awake, spraying water in all directions. She looked up at G'han. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize how tired I...." She realized that she was in the bathing pool and her face burned crimson. She hurriedly ducked under the water and moved away from her weyrmate.

G'han laughed when she realized where she was. He sighed and turned the other direction for her, "If you want I can take my bath later", he chuckled then continued, "I will just have to hang around in a towel". He waited for his answer and Gerenanth was laughing.

Rhia laughed at her embarrassment and hurriedly bathed. She emerged from the water. "I'm getting out." She grabbed a towel and quickly dried herself. She wrapped the towel around herself and went to grab her clothes. She hurriedly dressed. "I'm decent." She said. She paused to give him a quick kiss on the cheek as she passed and then entered the sleeping room, ignoring her dragon's roar of laughter.

G'han couldn't help but laugh. "You are something else", he said. He bathed and dressed. He laid next to Rhia in bed and held her close and kissed her. "I see it's going to take us awhile to get use to sharing the same weyr and all", he said nodding his head.

Rhia nodded, her head resting against his chest. "Sorry, I am used to it just being me and Mneith. When I was sick, that was another story, I didn't want to feel alone, I was afraid of being alone then but after I got better I just had to escape. Don't mind if I go off on my own every once in a while. Sometimes I even have to get away from Mneith. That's why I go riding on Sundance."

"It's ok, I understand. Just remember you don't have to be alone anymore, not only do you have your dragon but you have me as well", he said to her. He pulled her in closer and snuggled with her. He kissed her and lay awake holding her. Gerenanth on the other hand had a long day of going between. He had been trained to be fast, agile, and have plenty of endurance but a whole day of going between was more than enough to exhaust him. He fell asleep while his rider stay awake looking at his weyrmate, admiring her beauty.

Mneith fell asleep, not long after his bronzen friend. He mumbled a sleepy goodnight to them and fell fast asleep. Rhia did not even bother replying. She felt better. The warmth of the sands had shaken off the cold of /between/ and her bath had relaxed her. She shifted her head to look up at G'han. She reached up and ran a slender hand through his hair. Then she lowered her head, her lips resting on the base of his throat and closed her eyes. She did not fall asleep though, just content to listen to the sound of his breathing.

G'han didn't mind one bit that Rhia rubbed her and through his spikey hair. G'han looked down to his weyrmate, she seemed content on just the sound of his breathing. He kissed the top of her forehead. He repayed the favor by running his long, strong fingers through her hair, as strong as he was he was still able to have a gentle touch. He didn't go to sleep and didn't plan to anytime soon, he was more than content looking down at his weyrmate watching her.
