K'dan smiled as he watched Nike twirl a bit. "It sounds like it was a beautiful place", he said to her. He greeted D'ran and his dragon as they caught up. Hello clutch brother.

Nike nodded. "It was. But I haven't been there for Turns. All I can remember is the lush rain forests, and my foster-siblings.
So where did you two come from?" She said walking normal beside her dragon. Her dress's skirt twirled around her pale legs.
She'd have to get those tanner.

K'dan hesitated a bit to say. "I came from a poor family that lived in a small hold by the sea. We had to work hard just to get by. Since it was by the sea, fishing was our constant supply of food. Every once in awhile we would go to another hold for supplies and that's how I was found", he said to her.

NIke listened to K'dan and she felt sorry for him.
"Well when we can go /between/ I'll take you to Southern Boll. PLus this is your family now." She said and leaned over to give him a hug.

As Nike hugged him K'dan turned red and gave a half smile. He quickly got rid of his expression when she was done hugging him. He was a bit flustered, he didn't get much attention from girls and couldn't ever recall a girl giving him a hug. "Th-thank you Nike. It sounds like a beautiful place and I can't wait to see it", he said trying to regain his composure. Hydrath's laughter sounded in his mind.

Nike grinned at K'dan. She then looked at her bare forearm and cursed.
"Shells! Look how pale I am! I'm gonna have to get tan again or everyone at Boll won't know who I am!"
She said with a bitter laugh. Ruanth grinned up at her.
"Gosh, this far south does bad stuff for you!" She then mumbled.

K'dan looked at her. "Nah you look fine", he said to her. He then closed his mouth, realizing what he said. He hoped Nike didn't think he meant something different than what he had meant. Hydrath looked at Ruanth. My mine seems to be a bit girl shy.

Ruanth nodded and laughed a bit. Yes he is.
Nike grinned. "Thank you K'dan. I am flattered."
She said putting her right hand over her heart and fluttered her long eyelashes at the blue rider.

K'dan giggled nervously. "Um........uh.........your.............um.....welcome........Nike", he said flustered. Was Nike flirting with him? Nah she was playing around............that had to be it, he thought to himself.

Aureth kept silent as everyone talked.
He seemed to be troubled but it was not the dragon who was truly trouble, D'ran was.
He also kept silent and just a ghost of a smile came whn Nike played around with K'dan.
He looked at his own skin and then returned to watching the two.
He had been born with tan skin.
Aureth look up at his troubled Mine and hoped he would be ok.
D'ran sighed and figured he should lighten up.
"Oh, K'dan, you are such a flatterer," he said, jokingly.
Aureth also lightened up when his Mine did.

"I-I am?", K'dan said questioning the comment. He looked over to Nike, he didn't know how to react. He was cursed with being a bit shy and timid around girls, though he had to admit to himself, he wasn't as shy around Nike. He thought back when Akki was messing with him, yeah he was definently more comfortable around Nike.

Nike grinned. "Yes you are. Mabey one day you will find the girl of your dreams, and you two will live happily til then end of your days!" She said throwing her arms up to the sky and started laughing.
Ruanth grinned at the two blues.

D'ran grinned and looked to Nike.
"I have to go to the Souther Boll too," he said lightly.
Aureth walked in front of the other two and began to walk backwards but in front of them.

"Um", that was all K'dan could get out. He grew a bit nervous now. The girl of his dreams, he didn't want to think about that, he wasn't ready for that. He wasn't ready for anything serious. Right now he was content with having Nike as a friend, that's as far as he wanted to go with any girl, or so he told himself.

Her arms out, and her hair blowing around her face.

K'dan laughed at Nike and said to D'ran, "I hear you have been training lately. I need to get in shape too. I am kinda tired of looking scraggly and small. Maybe G'han could help me. He was practically raised training and fighting", he said. Though a bit unsure about the idea. What if G'han was too rough or went to easy on him. He just didn't know, he would have to talk to him about it. He looked at his small frame, he always seemed much younger and weaker than what he was and he was picked on a good bit for his short stature. He sighed a bit and continued to walk and converse with his friends. Yes they are good friends and so are we

Nike still danced on her light feet around her friends.
She hummed a tune that she learned since she was young.
Even though she couldn't sing for her life, Nike loved to hum and dance.
That, and juggling were the only Harper like things she knew how to do.

D'ran began to sing a song quietly.
he really enjoyed singing so being a Harper was simply perfect.
He did many Harper-like things.
Aureth trotted next to his Mine, almost dancing.
The words to d'ran's song were simple so he hoped the other would join in.
he didn't much care how well they sang.

Nike grinned when D'ran started singing. She knew the song, and started singing softly.
She loved the song, and since it was easy, she didn't have to soung bad!

K'dan listened to the two sing. He wouldn't attempt it. He wasn't the best singer. For now he would just walk beside them and listen.
