Miya watched the eggs slowly hatch. ~This is taking forever.~ She though unhappily.
(I know it is short, it is because I am watching a show and not really thinking hard.)

Verdeth looked at the green egg, that would hatch into another green. Only two greens, that is really uncommon that only two greens were hatched. Normally at least 4 hatched.

Christae was suprised by the kiss, and even more suprised by her response. So G'han and Rhia were not the only ones to find a suitable weyrmate. She slipped her arms around him but bumped her arm. She drew back, wincing and biting her lip to keep from crying out. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and then turned, leaning against her weyrmate as she watched the rest of the hatching. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Finally, the little bronze began to move out of the shards of his egg. He started towards the candidates. His egg had been on the far side, away from the candidates standing on the scorching sands. The egg that had split but not hatch finished cracking open. A green emerged from it's depths. She was a large green, close to the size of a small brown.  Her hide was a pretty, olive color. She was a sassy little thing. Cute, as most dragonets were. She sat next to her egg and cocked her head, surveying her surroundings. |

Verdeth saw another green hatch out, she was enormous, much bigger than her, like a brown. It would probably impress a male.
That's a huge green, I haven't seen big ones like that, and look at her glowing blue eyes, such elegance.

Kia gasped at the beauty and mass of the green. It was so big! "Wow," she muttered before she realized that the green would probably come to her. There weren't any // males as far as she knew so the Green would surely pick a girl. She smiled, a green this large seemed as if hardly was "shame" to egotistic people. It was hard to explain. Surely Miya must have more respect for this green than a small one. She glanced at Miya and grinned slightly.

((ok guys....some of you are only skimming the posts and missing stuff....i dont want to be mean but please make your posts accurate ~is for rider to dragon in their mind~ "is for regular spoken talk...even to the dragon" you dont have to speak in your mind to the dragon all the time italics is for thought...not ~))

((excuse me for not reading the posts properly, I'm dum and stupid that way!! Not to good of a roleplayer I guess!))
Zephyr looked around, there wasn't really any other male candidates on the sands, only like him and one other person. But more would be coming surely!

Abriana moved away from the bronze, it couldn't be her dragon if she had one at all but the queen, she knew, impressed a female. 'Well, what about that brown rider?' she thought, 'Perhaps it will impress a boy...'
Somehow, she did not think that this was very likely. What were the dragons looking for? Where they looking for the nicest looking ones? Perhaps they wanted the ones who looked good. What was a dragon impressed by! She looked around but found no particular quality about those that had impressed. She did not even notice the green who had hatched until she heard someone nearby mention it. She turned around and took a step towards it. She didn't know what to do then so she simply smiled and tried to look "impressive."

Miya's eyes glared at the green. It is elegant. It is just beatiful. Probably the weakest thing. Beauty doesn't make everything. She thought angrily. She noticed everyone was watching the dragon like it was holy. THIS IS INSANE! Miya shouted in her mind.

V'lar was still in the stands, not saying a thing! He looked around for anything else to do, but he couldn't, so he took a rough look at who might be in his new wing. Some of the blues might be in his wing, but probably not the brown or greens. He really didn't know! He was just asuming!

The olive colored dragonet wandered away from her egg shells, pausing in front of her golden mother and nudging her.
Kaith placed her wedge shaped head gently against her hatcling and pushed her in the direction of the girls
Go find your chosen my little one. The Queen told her daughter.
The green pranced jauntily off towards the girls, obeying her mother. She paused in front of Kia first, tilting her head from side to side. Then she moved on. Miya was next. The hatchling snorted in contempt at the girl and went to Abriana.

Her head was tilted to the side and she looked up adoringly at her chosen. This girl was perfect for her.

Verdeth looked as the huge green impressed a girl, she didn't know anybody, so she didn't know if that was a good pick. So, how many more do you think hatch?

Miya sighed. She was glad that she hadn't impressed that green. There was no way they would have gotten along. The dragon was probably snobby or extremely nice. Both of those personalities drove her nuts, though one might say Miya was a bit snobby herself, but that thought didn't even cross her mind.

That green is pretty, but I like firelizards better. Siarath snorted, unhappy that the green was getting so much attention.

G'han looked to notice more had impressed. Unfortunantly Kadan was still among those without a dragon. He sighed and Gerenanth usured him his friend would impress. No need to worry Kadan will impress a great dragon mine. G'han nodded his head, apparently Gerenanth's attemtp to reassure his bonded worked. The bronze gave a smug look thinking of how brilliant he was.

Kia held her breath as the Green stopped in front of her. She sighed when the dragon left and wiped the small drops of sweat from her hairline. She almost snorted aloung with the Green when she passed Miya. As Abriana Impressed Kia applauded again. Her hands had stung from the hot sands but now they stung from how much she was clapping. This was such a large clutch! Kia glanced over at the small gray egg which sat away from the candidates. She wondered if it would hatch at all.

Abriana felt wherry bumps rise on her arms as the green paced towards her. The green stopped in front of another and Abriana was sure that she had chosen her but it moved on. Once again it stopped in front of another but moved on until it came to her.
She held her breath, not even daring to hope that she might be chosen but the she heard, or at least she thought she did, a voice saying Abriana Mine. Thank you for waiting for your Mearath. I am hungry now. Will you feed me? Abriana froze as she looking into the eyes of that beautiful dragonet and gasped. It had talked to her! Mearath was hers and hers alone! She sank to the ground, eyes welling up in her eyes and nearly bursting with love and for her green. “Mearath! Oh Mearath...” she cried hugging her dragonet, careful not to hug her too hard.
She then picked the beautiful green up admiring her soft olive hide and went over to the place where food had been laid out for the newly impressed. She picked up a chunk of meat and dropped it into the dragonet’s waiting mouth.

Kadan watched as another impressed. He applauded for the girl and her new green and watched the bronze that hatched. This seemed bigger than the last one. He looked over to the remaining candidates. Who would impress this one he thought to himself.

G'han scratched Tokage's eyeridges when the brown wanted the attention then did the same with Sharan and his own. Sharan rested on opposite shoulder of Tokage and Azure finally found his spot on G'han's head. He chuckled a bit and continued to watch the hatching.

V'lar clapped for the impression with the huge green. Even he hadn't seen any greens that big in his life. This would be a speacil moment for that girl he thought.
This clutch is doing marveously, many good colors, and another bronze out on the sands.
