R'xis laughed when, two seconds after she'd been calling the water, a little help from him made it come to her. "Wow, Akki, great powers you've got-," he began to say, but then his eyes widened when she mentioned something about having hurt herself. He was on his way to check when Ebbeth's voice came in to his head and just then a wave sent him down under the water. Thankfully he'd held his breath. When the wave passed he swam back up, coughing since some water had managed to reach his lungs. He spat it out, shaking his wet head of hair back and forth. He swam over to Akki, grabbing one of her arms in his hand. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his voice sincere. He knew she'd toss it off as nothing but he still had to ask. He examined her head, pleading that he hadn't been the cause of any injury.
Ersith was deterred from the conversation when a wave hit R'xis; she became frantic, eyes whirring a red until she saw the boy resurface. She eyed Ebbeth, figuring that he must've known R'xis would be all right. She let her mind settle again, until she heard R'xis' asking the Bluerider if she was injured. Again her gaze was drawn back to her rider, who was now directly in front of Ebbeth's. She'll be okay? Ersith asked the blue for reassurance. She also suspected that if Akki had been seriously injured that Ebbeth wouldn't still be over here with Rimith and her. She turned to Rimith, glad that Hasima hadn't been involved in the event. Yours intelligently stays out of harms way, no? Ersith said to Rimith; the brown's wings folding back in at her sides.
R'xis looked over at Hasima, seeing that she was perfectly fine, and then looked over at the others before he happily kept his eyes on Akki. 'I have to be more careful,' he scolded himself. 'Of course its kind of hard to be careful when you're play fighting, in water nevertheless.' He sighed, feeling bad. He kept his grip on her arm, willing to assist her up if she needed the assistance. He was sure the friendly contact was fine, its not as if he was taking it out of... His face reddened a bit but he pushed all forthcoming thoughts away and focused on the fact that his best friend may or may not need him.

She touched her forehead gingerly before dropping her hand and shrugging to R'xis' question, "No biggie. I might get a bruise, but that will just make me look all intimidating. I'll be a big hot shot.". She grinned at Ebbeth, "See? I knew you loved me. Despite the brain comment, you brute.". The dragon snorted, not denying anything. She waved R'xis off, "I'm fine though, no worries.". She pulled her arm out of R'xis' grip, not thinking anything about it before she grabbed Hasima's forearm and together, they pulled the blue rider up. "Ta-daaaa." Akki said with a grin, as she threw her arms up into the air and took a bow.
Ebbeth looked down at Ersith, and thought about his words for a second. She'll be fine of course. Take no offense, but I think if your rider had seriously hurt mine, there would be a large chunk of him missing right now. He meant nothing rude by those words, it really was just a statement. And most people knew this statement, by how he reacted at a certain Hatching Feast. Rimith nervously eyed Hasima, making sure the girl wasn't hurt in any way before grinning, She's smart like that.
"Good thing I didn't take you down, right Hasima?" Akki said with a wide grin. The blue rider gently squeezed Hasima's upper arm, "With those muscles, you could surely take me down."

R'xis ruffled his hair, still kneeling while Hasima helped Akki up carefully. He smirked, wondering if Akki giving her compliments like that would embarrass Hasima. "Yes, I'm sure she is quite strong," he chimed in. He put his hands on his knees, getting-up. He wouldn't blame Akki for pushing him over right now, seeing as he'd deserve it, though Ebbeth's wave had brought enough justice as it was.
Ersith rumbled, amused by Ebbeth's teasing, though she was sure that if Akki had been severely injured Ebbeth wouldn't have been pleased. She tossed her head at the thought of Ebbeth's capabilities, eager to play. She splashed Rimith, diving under the water to hide. She went down, down, down, to the water's depths. Turning she drew her attention above where she could see the form of the Blue and Yellow dragons still afloat. She outspread her wings to there full length, pumping them to go a bit higher-not liking how dark it was down at the bottom. She preferred to stick to the light where everything was far more visible. Coming? she asked Ebbeth and Rimith, feeling like she could use a good game of tag to work her muscles. Plus, the competition would be welcomed also!
R'xis reached down to the water and cupped some in his right hand, splashing both Akki and Hasima with his repeated actions. 'Surely a bit of water can't knock these two over.' He wondered if Rhiyo was going to come over here and give him some support, helping him to win the play fight against the two girls. It'd be a sure change since he was often always around girls in these kinds of situations, rather then having any other boys around. R'xis stuck his tongue out at Akki like she had done to him earlier, his smirk returning to his lips there after. Nothing could be better then spending some time with his friends, and he felt awfully lucky right about now that he had them around.

Hasima blushed, rubbing her arm slightly with small grin. Even if she was strong enough to take someone down, she would never be able to do it. Not unless they did something excrutiatingly bad, for Hasima was a pretty darn well-mannered girl. She stared carefully at the blue rider's head, noting that a nice sized bruise would probably form there tomorrow. Akki twisted her hair, droplets of water dripping off of it as she grinned to Hasima and admitted with no shame, "Bless your soul for helping me up, my dear Hasima. I probably would have fallen again otherwise."
Ebbeth's eyes glittered as he caught Ersith's words. Oh lovely Rimith, it seems that Ersith is challenging us. I take this oppurtunity to ask you if you would care to form a team with me. With your strength, I'm sure we could win. Ebbeth stated diplomatically as he grinned dragonically to the yellow dragonet who crooned with agreement. Both dragons twisted their bodies, sliding underneath the water as Ebbeth dropped straight down to the depths where he easily blended in. Rimith, on the other hand, was higher up, sticking out sorely against the light blue as they circled Ersith, one from above with the other below.
Both girls raised their arms, shielding their faces from the oncoming water. "R'xis, didn't your mother teach you any better? You're not supposed to pick on girls. No matter how charmingly cute they are." Akki said as she wiped water off of her arm. She was joking around with that last sentence, of course. Hasima bent down, and did something no one probably would have expected from the overly shy girl. She let water flow into her cupped hands, lifted it and flung it straight at the boy.

Rhiyo nodded, unsurprised by R'xis' answer, and then grimaced slightly when R'xis said that he'd find out soon enough whether or no he could swim. The thought of sinking under the water was very unappealing to him. However, he felt no fear of it, so perhaps he could swim? It made sense to him that if he wasn't bothered by the water, maybe he'd been okay in it before. However, there was an equal chance that he didn't remember enough to have the sense to be wary...
He waded into the water slowly but surely, and watched R'xis treading in it carefully for a moment. Then, he realized that it was over his head before it even registered that it was indeed so. He found himself doing as R'xis was, treading the water smoothly and staying afloat. Well, this was a relief. The movements felt natural to him, and he ventured further, swimming assuredly in a circle before coming back to where his feet could touch the ground underneath the water once more. He sighed with apparent relief, and then shrugged and gave a lop-sided smile as he confirmed unnecessarily, "guess I can swim after all!" He didn't get a chance to say much more than that, as he looked on as R'xis and Akki had a bit of an interchange.
When Hasima blushed he only smiled and chuckled quietly, and then winked at her good naturedly before his attentions were back on R'xis. For a moment he worried that the playful push R'xis had given the bluerider had accidentally hurt her. But his fears weren't affirmed as Akki said she would be all right. He guessed she'd really been caught off guard, and then when R'xis began to start what looked like a 'water fight' with the other two, he only gave a brief pause for thought before deciding to give the boy a hand. After all, how fair was a two against one battle? Not very.
He swiftly began to splash water at the two girls as well, with a half-apologetic and half-playful look about him, wondering if he was getting in over his head. Akki at least looked like she could have taken both him and R'xis on by herself. Hasima, though shyer, he was sure had it in her to do so as well.
He could almost forget the odd feeling of 'not belonging' that he was getting, seeing as how everyone was so friendly and seemed to immediately accept him into their group. It was nice to feel accepted, and Rhiyo was able to at least put his questions aside and just enjoy the company of the others. They were all so different from one another, though, that the only question that remained to be seen was what he'd been like. What was he like, then? Was he now like he had been before? He chastised himself and ignored his concerns, focusing only on what was going on in the here and now.

Shino thought he heard something and began heading back. He realized that he still had much to explore around this weyr. As he dried himself off, he smiled and looked back at Akki. "I didn't push her, she just jumped when I startled her, then fell." He replied with a grin. He picked up his back and smiled, slinging it over his back and beginning to walk.
As Shino walked away, Hirako blinked, wondering where he was going. She shrugged and turned back to the group of others who were enjoying themselves and smiled. She had bigger fish to fry than poking her nose around in other people's business.

R'xis appeared to almost physically flinch at the mention of his mother not having taught him any better. The memory of his mother was painful and as often as he tried to forget her he couldn't... A huge part of him just didn't want to... He wished even now that he could've done more to honour her memory. He merely smirked at Akki, speaking his mind: "Oh, so now you acknowledge the fact that you're cute?" he asked, splashing even more water at her. He was surprised to see Rhiyo treading water next to him like a natural. "Well, some one's got a set of gills I suspect. You're doing great!" he encouraged him. When Rhiyo helped him splash the girls R'xis shot him one of his rare smiles, it was both genuine and sincere. He eagerly waited for Akki to reply, chuckling to himself. He knew that she'd probably just shrug it off; it wouldn't be unlike her to come up with something to say.
Ersith looked both above and below her, seeing that Rimith and Ebbeth outnumbered her. She kept on going forward, then managed to do a spiral downwards that sent her down below Ebbeth's larger form. She kept on going, gaining a burst of speed while she propelled herself forwards. She didn't bother to look back to see if they were following her, she knew that it would only slow her down in the long run. Ersith was already having a blast and the game had only just begun. She bet that Ebbeth could easily out swim her; unsure of how fast Rimith happened to be. She did a full turn around just to confuse them, appearing as if she was heading straight for them when really she had something different planned in her mind to do... She dove beneath them before rising to swim around their bodies in a graceful pattern; booking it to the water's surface.
R'xis wondered if Akki would appreciate his obvious attempt at flirtation. His gaze wandered to Rhiyo, hoping the boy would find what he had said to be humorous. His gaze there after flickered to Hasima's face, wondering if the girl had even really caught on before his gaze rested back up on Akki. 'She won't care,' he reassured himself, grinning like a fool. 'Its Akki, after all,' he told himself, and really that was all he felt that he needed to know.

Akki let out a yelp as the water hit her, and gasped with wide eyes "That's cold!". Hasima threw her hands up in front of her face, laughing at the fun that was taking place around them. Akki stared at Rhiyo, sticking her tongue out at him, questioning him, "Now is that any way to treat your new friends?". Hasima kneeled down in the water, letting her arm skim the waters surface so it caused a small wave of water to fly upwards and hit the two boys. Laughing, and slightly surprised by Hasima's bold act, Akki grabbed the girls wrist and tugged her towards the deeper water. "Run Hasima! Don't just stand there!" She said as the water quickly rushed up their necks.
She snorted at what Shino said and rolled her eyes, "Yeah suuuure Shino. Whatever you say. Now what are you two waiting for! You have to come and join us. Well, join me. I need your guys' will power to beat those two." She jerked her thumb towards Rhiyo and R'xis, signalling that they should be considered the enemies. She shook her head, "Now, now R'xis. I never said that I was charmingly cute. I was talking about Hasima. I could just eat her up.". Hasima blushed and ducked under the water for a moment before coming back up. Akki went on her back and kicked her legs, not only propelling herself further into the lake but also sending what seemed like endless water towards the two guys.
Rimith dove after Ersith, watching as the water became darker and colder, the yellow hide looking like a murky green now. She wasn't expecting Ersith to come shooting by her, going towards the surface and jerked back slightly before twisting her body so she could follow. Ebbeth let a stream of bubbles escape his mouth as he followed Ersith downwards and watched her quickly turn around, swimming around them as she headed for the top. The blue dragon didn't follow the brown, but instead went deeper into the water, waiting.

Water flew up and came crashing down on R'xis, soaking him completely. He chuckled; looking right at Hasima, glad to hear her laughing and having a good time. He knew how shy she was so the facts that she was starting to open-up and make bold actions made his heart rejoice. He loved Akki's facial expression when the cold water hit her; holding his stomach while he laughed, only to be splashed by even more water from behind. He did a full turn around, watching Akki go further and further out, floating up on her back effortlessly. He used quick thinking, holding his breath before going underneath the water. He opened his eyes after having successfully swam out where Akki now was, looking up at what so happened to be Akki above him. He reached up and gently tugged on her shirt-just enough so that she knew something, or rather some one, was there. Then he decided, instead of playing games, he'd go for a full on attack. He came up alongside her shouting: "Hold your breath," giving her a few seconds before he jumped on her carefully. He didn't want a repeat of earlier though since the water was deeper out here it would be better. As he broke the surface, coming back up, he could feel the material of Akki's shirt in his hands. Just want to make sure she comes up too he thought, opening his eyes to see what predicament he had gotten himself in to this time. He half-hoped to see Akki glaring at him playfully, while the other half of his hope was that Akki would retaliate.
Ersith soon surface, spreading her brown wings out. Water droplets rolled off of her hide. She looked back, relieved to see that at least one of her friends was there. She was surprised not to see Ebbeth, especially since he was hard to miss. Where had he gone? She searched the waters below her by sight, submerging in the water once more. She dove down, looking this way and that, unable to spot the sneaky blue in the darkness. Any clue as to where he's gone? she asked Rimith, wondering if she'd reveal him. Perhaps Rimith hadn't seen where he'd gone off to either? The dragonet kept on searching, not one to give up easily. Before she knew it the darkness had surrounded her and her vision wasn't as great as she'd hoped it to be.

Soon as she felt someone tug on her shirt, she let out a gasp of shock, not fully expecting that. "Oi! Someone has to keep their hands to themselves." She said loudly, slapping around her in hopes of dislodging whatever, or whoever, it was clinging to her. Hasima just watched, not realizing that R'xis was underneath the blue rider. Soon as Akki heard R'xis' words when he popped up beside her, she inhaled and held her mouth as she felt herself going under the water. When she was underneath the water, she opened her mouth, letting water flood into it (Apparently she didn't care whether or not the water was clean) and soon as she did that, she kicked upwards and lifted herself to the surface. She looked toward R'xis, opened her mouth slightly and blew a stream of water towards his face. "You can't go around pushing ladies underneath water!"
Rimith looked around, not seeing the blue either. Uhhh. Was Rimith's reply before she looked around one more time before admitting, I don't see him anywhere at all!. While Ebbeth was being searched out, Ebbeth when deeper into the water and hovered below Ersith by a bit. Suddenly he rose sharply, catching the brown dragonet on his back as he sped towards the surface.

Before R'xis had come up alongside her, Akki's flailing arms smacked him on the back a couple of times. It didn't seem to phase him although because his tackling her had been successful enough. R'xis maintained a grasp of her shirt, turning his head to the side a bit when she spit the water in his face. He shook his wet hair back and forth, water droplets flying every which way. He grinned apologetically at her for an instant. "Aren't you going to play?" He pretended as if she only scolding him offended him, his eyes narrowing playfully. "A lady, huh? You..." He scanned her, nodding his head up and down in a rapid bobble-head motion. "Yep, you're a lady all right." He laughed heartily, trying to be expecting of the unexpected. R'xis wasn't all too sure what was overboard and what wasn't. Gladly Akki rarely took a single thing seriously so he could go on and on and she'd likely forget it sooner or later.
Ersith believed that the Yellow dragonet truly didn't know where their friend had swum off. She looked around, becoming almost frantic, if not reminded about the fact that he was a more agile swimmer then the both of them combined-or so she liked to think. Just as she was about to retreat from the dark waters she felt a presence beneath her. Before she could do anything about it Ebbeth had stormed up past her, catching her smaller body on his back. She went tumbling down further, frightened by his clever approach. She went to creel, remembering that she was underneath the water a second before doing so. She sank lower and lower in panic, flicking her tail from side to side while she used her wings to rise from the depths. Soon she had broken the surface of the water and hovered for an instant due to her leap before she came crashing back down in to the water with a splash. She extended her neck out of the water, shaking her wedge-shaped head back and forth before she looked around for the culprit that was Ebbeth. You scared me half to death! Dear, dear, Ebbeth... That was your intention was it not? She snorted, turning her head away from him to fake anger while she tried to regulate her breathing. What say you to this Rimith? I wasn't all that scared, but still, he could've scared me all the same!

Akki rolled her eyes, caught his nose between two of her fingers and wiggled it slightly, "of course I'm going to play and because Hasima is on my side, we're going to win. No doubt about it.". She let go of his nose, bending her back backwards as she somersaulted beneath the waters surface, only to come up beside Hasima, splashing R'xis with her legs. "I'm the most well-mannered and behaved lady you will ever meet in your life R'xis." And with that said, both girls lifted their arms and splashed water at the two boys, grinning.
Actually my intention was for you to stay on my back. Ebbeth said pleasantly as he broke the surface, looking to where the brown dragonet now was. It's really not my fault if you can't stay in one place, now is it? The blue dragon jeered, grinning devillishly as he stared at the female dragon. Rimith grinned along with the blue dragon, I believe I say that this means we won

Rhiyo ducked under the water as he could see Akki kicking up waves of it in his and R'xis' direction. He opened his eyes under the fairly clear surface and saw Hasima's feet dangling there as she treaded water, and let himself go down deeper, slowly swimming up and under her as R'xis had done to Akki, but, instead of grabbing her and pulling her under, he tickled the underside of her foot, and then swam out of the way, before making another pass and doing it again. He came up just in time to hear Akki's description of herself of a well-mannered lady, and he laughed openly at this. Akki might have been a girl, but lady-like she did not seem!
He grinned at Hasima, and then swam over to R'xis, ready to take his side if the girls sent more water their way. And sure enough, they did! He wiped his face, hair dripping as he grinned and then imitated Akki, floating on his back and sending waves of water towards the two girls. He used his arms to keep him relatively in place so that he wasn't moving backwards while he did so, and therefore managed to keep barraging the pair with water, and called to R'xis, "give me a hand here, will ya? I can't hold them both off for long!" He was grinning widely, knowing that if he let up the girls would retaliate and he'd lose his proverbial ground. This was certainly fun, and he wondered if Weyr life was like this all the time. He wasn't sure about what everyone did, or about the responsibilities of a Candidate or Weyrling or Rider. He just knew that right here and now, he was having a blast!

R’xis laughed at Akki’s words of her being the most well mannered lady he would ever meet. “I’m sure that’s true Akki,” he told her. He would’ve made a comment about her being the prettiest too but he didn’t want to think about how every one would respond to that. R'xis was quick to help Rhiyo splash the girls when Akki went Rhiyo asked for his assistance. He did the same as Rhiyo, side by side with the boy, floating with ease on his back. He kicked his feet hard; watching the waves of water hit the two. "So Akki!" he called out over the loud sound of splashing, "can't rough it alone can you? Need strong Hasima there to defend you every second!" he openly teased. He winked at Rhiyo, saying to him, "I like to try and be as annoying as I can, just to see what she'll do." He could barely see either one of the girls because the water was blocking his view. He kept it up with out let-up, though his legs were beginning to tire from the constant action. "Ready to give up?" he asked them, still shouting. He hoped that him and Rhiyo would win; after all, it'd give him something even more to tease Akki about.
Ersith snorted, apparently not agreeing to what Rimith thought to be true. No, you haven't won, not in the least. Ersith was a bit of a sore loser, not liking to lose, especially when she was so dead set on winning. She dove back underneath the water, moving as fast as she could, hoping that Ebbeth wouldn't so easily gain on her. I can win! she decided, Despite the fact that the odds are against me. Ebbeth was too huge for her to even be able to move. She wasn't all that strong yet, even though she'd like to be, and she knew that both Ebbeth and Rimith were well aware of that. She couldn't wait until she was bigger, that way she'd be able to be some real competition for Ebbeth. I bet he's just humouring me... Are you trying to say that I'm unbalanced Ebbeth? she asked, remembering her days of wobbling around when she was even younger then she was now.
