A moment later green Siarath popped into the sky, leaving the emptiness of between. She leaned on her left wing and spiraled down towards the ground. She landed on her feet, careful not to stumble this time, since she was annoyed enough with her extra passanger. Siarath leaned down so that the two could get off.
Nira dismounted first. She walked over to get the girl's bag. Unfastening it, she placed in on the ground before turning to Miki. "Do you need help getting off?" She asked kindly.

As she popped out of the extreme coldness, Miki wasn't as shocked as most new candidates. She had been /between/ before. It wasn't so bad. She let out her breath and began to unstrap as soon as they landed.
While the rider went to undo her bag, Miki fiddled with the strap on her leg. The rider came back to offer assistance but Miki was already halfway done. "I can handle this," she said. She finished unstrapping and slid off the dragon.

Nira nodded. She handed the bags to the girl. "Miki?" She said before the girl could walk off. "Why did you say that before? About a dragon killing? They would never do that. THe only cases have been super rare at hatchings were the hatchlings make a mistake, but your parents would've been too old for a hatching. Why would you say something so cruel?" She questioned, hurt in her eyes.

Miki grabbed the bag and began to walk away. She stopped to listen to the rider. She spun around and clenched the bag. "You may be a rider but you know nothing about dragons. My dad was a good rider and his dragon got him trapped /between./ And to think some people would have the audacity to think it was my father's fault? Well they are wrong!"
Miki stormed off, walking towards... well, she wasn't sure where. She didn't really notice she was getting lost. She just kept walking to who knows where.

Nira opened her mouth to speak, but the girl just stormed away. She didn't know what to say.
"I'll take care of it." A voice said. Nira turned to see Miya standing there. Apparently she had witnessed the whole thing, and didn't look happy at all. She walked towards the girl. "Hey. Stop walking." She shouted after the girl, not wanting to run. SHe didn't have to, the girl should have enough respect to stop. But after what had happened to Nira. Miya probably would have tried to get Reinath's help to intimidate the girl, but the gold was sleeping.

Miki only glanced backwards. "Why shoudl I?" She turned back and stuck her nose up. She wasn't just going to talk. She looked around. "Where is my barrack?" she said, clearly annoyed.

Miya stopped walking, crossed her arms, and scowled. "Because, I am Jr. Weyrwoman and you will be the candidate for my dragon's eggs." She growled at the girl. So Miya had a short temper, what else was new?
((These are terribly short.))

Sorcha turned a corner to hear the last snippet of conversation. At least she wasn't the only one who seemed to not like Miya well. She wrinkled her nose at Miya's comment, get off your high runnerbeast once in a while. She leaned against the wall, after the Hatching she had seemed constantly tired ... too much running around, she thought.
She stayed back a little, she'd been in one too many glowlights lately, no use running into this one. Though she wouldn't be caught skulking away from this encounter like she was weak or anything. On top of that her curiousity was piqued. She studied the other for a few moments wondering what had her all upset.

It was Ebbeth who had told Akki that Siarath and Nira had returned from a search, and that they had came back with someone. A possible future dragon rider. And of course her curiousity got the better of her, and her blue and soon they were both gliding through the air as they headed towards the Weyrbowl. And as Ebbeth glided downwards and Akki jumped off the blues back, she watched as some unknown girl stormed off.
"Another moody, touchy candidate Nira?" She asked the green rider with a grin as her feet hit the ground with a solid 'Thud'. "You didn't get Siarath to threaten to eat her did you? Or does this girls attitude come with her? Of course I could be assuming that she's moody, but that doesn't seem like a normal walking away." The blue rider rambled on before catching herself and smiling a crooked smile at her friend.
Greetings to you Siarath, and your rider. I hope you both fare well today. Ebbeth said humbly as he eyed the girl from where he stood.

Nira turned to Akki. She had an obvious look of worry on her face as Miya argued with the new candidate. "She is upset. Something happened. She said a dragon killed...someone. I was shocked, so I tried to figure things out, but she merely stormed away. Then Miya came and decided to deal with it herself." Nira sighed. "Both seemed pretty worked up, so I thought it would be best if they both blew off some steam by yelling at each other." Nira explained, though she wasn't quite sure if her decision was the right one.
Good afternoon Ebbeth. Please send my regards to your rider. Nira and I were doing well, but this new candidate is really annoying me, and was being very rude to my mine. Siarath explained, grumbling with annoyance at the end.

"A dragon killing someone? I know that Ebbeth has offered to snap up some people at a few times, but I can't imagine him or any other dragon killing anyone. Dragons would not eat anyone. Riders do get lost Between but that would never be classified as a dragon killing them, that'd be absurd." She said with a confused look on her face as she eyed the girl, as if trying to read her. "Maybe she's insane?" Akki offered as she looked up at Ebbeth who snorted in amusement. "Let's hope they only yell at each other. I can picture Miya springing at the other girl, it wouldn't be very pleasant.".
She was rude to you and your mine? Ebbeth said before his lips turned into a small snarl and said, I might dislike this girl before I even meet her

Miki spun around, her brows furrowed. She stuck her arm out and jabbed her finger into Miya's shoulder. "Guess again if you think I care about you being Junior Weyrwoman. And I could care less about getting a dragon at all. Why don't you just go and hang out with your dragon."
Needless to say, when she said dragon, she said it in a way that said, 'Ew, dragon.' It was to be expected if you knew her. Of course, these people didn't know her but they would soon enough. She was bound to create a reputation.
Miki was still baffled about why she was supposed to come at all. How was she meant to be with a dragon?

"I don't know. She just bounded off before I could get an answer. It was obvious she didn't want to talk about it. Besides, I have already had enough of her attitude for today. And if Miya doesn't deal with it, then someone in this Weyr will. It is too small for something like this to go unnoticed." Nira said, still watching the two.
**************************
Miya immediantly slapped the girl's hand away from her own shoulder. "Where do you think you are?" Was all she said.

"I rather it'd be someone other than Christae, because she's had so much to deal with lately. This would just add on, she might explode. Shards, even I'll go head to head with the girl if it's needed. I won't let this girl bother Christae." Akki vowed, her mouth set in a straight line. The WW had so much going on right now, she would never let this girl add on to Christae's troubles.
"I don't know if Miya will add on to the problems, but I hope not. I'll wait here for a bit I think, if anything gets too violent, verbally or physcially, I'll be there to stop it. I don't think I'm really in the mood to let some unknown girl get mad at me." She said to Nira with a sly smile and a wink.

Sorcha smiled, if no one stopped them this might esculate into one big fight over nothing. It was obvious the first girl was upset about something. She wondered why the girl was here if she didn't want to be. Half baked thoughts swirled her head, each more unrealistic than the last. In any case the girl had fire and wasn't letting a thin veil of minor authority push her around.
"Why are you here if not for a dragon? I couldn't manage a place more unsuited for staying away from dragons than a weyr." She supposed she must really be tired if she actually said what she was musing. She had wanted to stay quiet and hope they got into a fist fight. She, of course, would be cheering for the newcomer. She had enough trouble so couldn't actually do anything. But perhaps that was petty of her. After all, Miya hadn't really done anything to her.

Miki's face seemed to be even more aggravated if that was possible. She let her arms dropped to her sides but put her hands into fists. "I don't much care where I am. All I need is a room and to be away from you" She was doing all she could not to scream it at Miya.
When another person spoke, she swirled around almost instantly. "It wasn't my choice to go. It was that stupid dragon," she said, reffering to Siarith.

"I will take you to your room, but just to let you know, you aren't forced to stay. You can leave whenever you want, and I will be more than happy to take you back." Miya glared at the girl. "So it is your choice. You can come with me to the Candidate barracks, you can stay here, mouthing off and get into trouble with the Weyrwoman, or you can go back home. So chose and chose well." Miya snapped. She completely ignored Sorcha. Miya still harbored hate for the weyrling, so she decided to only deal with the girl when she had to. Miya knew that if she didn't, her anger would get the better of her. ((I was going to have Miya say that Miki couldn't insult dragons, but that would be hypocritical of her. ))

Ebbeths mouth curled into a snarl, the girls comment reaching him. Someone had better tell that girl to keep her mouth shut, for it will be Siarath that will be preventing me from snapping her cleanly in two Ebbeth said not caring who heard his comment as his eyes whirling angrily and ferociously. It was one thing to just have attitude, even a rather large amount of it, but insulting a dragon who could easily step on her? That was enough for him. He had enough of this girl even though he had not even met her.
"Ebbeth, enough. The girl is rude, but she obviously has something against dragons and you making threatening comments will not help." Akki said, knowing she was being very hypocritical. She was secretly hoping Ebbeth would snap the girl in half. "Nira, do you suppose it's time for us to intervene?" The blue rider asked, her eyes slightly narrowed as she imagined what she wanted to say to that girl.
However, most of those comments would be quite inappropriate and she'd have to refrain from using them.

"Yes it was, you came didn't you? I bet /that dragon/ didn't pick you up and drag you here. You came on your own." She shook her head. Who wouldn't want a dragon? They were rather powerful creatures, dragons. If only for power alone, one should want one. After all, wasn't that why she came?
