Akki made an aghasted look, her jaw dropped as Jakel said he blamed everything on her. "Come on then, I don't want be left behind." She said as she stood up and grabbed Hasima's hand. "Come on then Roxis." She said turning to the boy before heading off to the barracks.
Hasima was amazed, she woke up and thought she would have another slow day and here she was being included in on something. Perhaps this was her chance to make friends. 'I hope so' she thought as she moved as fast as she could (Which wasn't that fast) to keep up with the blue rider.

Jessa was indeed thinking back to the hours spent listening to the Runner Hold's oldsters and Harper telling the stories about dragons and their courageous riders fighting Thread to keep all of Pern safe. Her voice, more subdued she said softly, "I used to dream of dragons you know.... Riding them yes but mostly just talking to them. I always wondered what great creatures like them would think about. Their perspective on things must be so different than ours..."
As she spoke her eyes strayed to the blue marbled egg again and then to the one that Valkoran had said was his favorite. What if their dragon soulmates were lying in those eggs just waiting to come out and find them. If they were, would their dragons like each other? Jessa couldn't take it if they both managed to Impress and by some twist of fate their dragons hated each other. After coming all this way to be with her friend, that would be unbearable.

(( OOC| Aye', talk about being nearly choked by hectic occurances... Anywho, sorry for not posting earlier, *looks down with an obvious frown.* ))
Wolf listened to all the words being spoken, glad to see that Akki and Jakel were such good friends. Somehow she felt out of place, but didn't she always? It was more then likely wrong for her to feel this way, although at times she just couldn't help it. As Jakel fell off of his chair she smirked lightly, looking down before looking back up and over to Roxis. He seemed so familiar, why couldn't she place him? She never forgot most people, it just wasn't like her for her memory tended to be used quite often. She didn't speak, not knowing what to say to Hasima. Wolf too was often shy, more shy then some believed. She continued to watch Jakel and Akki go at it, another light smirk appearing up on her face before her gaze fell up on the clutching below... Wait, it was over? How happy moments always seemed to end so quickly and horrendous ones drag on. "Really unique eggs, a whole bunch," she said. Her sentence hardly made sense though her thoughts began to drift as they always tended to do. 'No queen egg...' At that moment her heart sank. 'Oh well, wouldn't have impressed it anyway,' she said, laughing at herself within. She shrugged her shoulders lightly, now beginning to wonder all the more what colors would come out of these other eggs. 'How could I be so selfish anyways, I mean... Getting a partner is all that matters and here I am looking to get the most highly ranked dragonet of all.' She cursed herself lightly, about to place her head in her hands before Jakel grabbed her right hand. She was up out of her chair, running with him as she laughed. She looked back at Akki and Hasima, a warm-smile appearing just then. These were her forever friends, weren't they? She could only hope, friends like these didn't come along very often...
Roxis too sat there, thinking about Wolf at nearly the same moments she was thinking of him. It hit him a heck of alot faster then it seemed like it would ever hit her. He leaned back in the seat, hitting it harder then he'd intended to. He sighed, looking down at the hatching sands, clapping his hands loudly once the Queen had finished clutching her eggs. "This clutch just may be shocking," he said aloud, nodding his head lightly as he pondered of what may come out of them. Wasn't every one thinking about that now? Who ever wasn't was either completely nuts or totally crazy. Roxis hadn't seen many clutches but the one's he had been lucky enough to see had looked nothing at all like Kaith's current clutch. He slowly turned to Wolf, knowing the time to approach her wasn't now, considering there was so many other's around. Tonight would be best, if he'd be able to get Akki, Jakel, and Hasima away from her. Once the trio starting running he got up and followed, amused by the fun that they all seemed to be having. What about Hasima though? She seemed more or less quiet... Every one was different though, of course.

"Me, too," Valkoran said. "I'd never seen a dragon before I was Searched, but I was always hoping that I would. I..." he laughed. "I had this firm resolution that I would try and talk to a dragon if ever I encountered one. And then, the day I was Searched, I was too distracted to remember that particular goal." He chuckled and shook his head, then pondered Jessa's ideas of dragons.
"Probably their riders, and dragonish affairs, like mating flights," he blushed almost imperceptibly at this, "or some such. I've heard that they are much more laid-back in some things than we are, and don't think ahead as much as we do. But I dont know," he finished uncertainly. "Hides and scrolls have been wrong before."

(Finally an intro from me ^^ Didn't know where else to put)
Adria climbed down slowly from the large blue dragon that had brought her to Dark Moon Weyr. Her normally tan face was now very pale. She stumbled as she reached a ground.
"Don’t worry," said the blue rider, "everyone’s first trip between is a bit strange. You’ll get used to it."
Adria tried to smile, best to let him think that it was between that had her spooked. They’d probably send her home if they found out she was afraid of heights. Rather hard to be a dragonrider and be afraid of heights but she wanted the chance of being a candidate. Adria sighed if she did impress she’d definitely have to find someway to get over this fear. She stepped away from the blue dragon so that he could get airborne.
As the blue headed towards his ledge Adria realized that she had forgotten to ask the rider where to go. She decided to follow a small group of people that were talking excitedly amongst themselves. Adria heard the word “clutching,” so the queen was clutching! The group was headed to the hatching sands and Adria followed silently behind them. When they finally arrived at the hatching sands Adria found a spot in the stands to look at the eggs. They were so different from one another, she’d heard that the eggs looked alike. She set her bag down beside her and glanced around at the others in the stands. Who was a candidate like her?

Perin noted a newcomer enter the Hatching Grounds after the clutching had finished. The tall lad also noted the bag that she set down. "Hmm, a new Candidate." He walked over to greet the girl. He noted the absence of his brown flitt Falarn. Indeed, there wer no flitts at all in the hatching grounds.
"Good morning." Perin smiled as he greeted the young woman. "I take it you are a new Candidate? I am one too. I have been here for a few sevendays. My name is Perin. I am a Master Tanner."
