Sorcha's glare intensified as he continued to talk. She wanted to yell at him and storm out but it seemed that she couldn't or he would tell and she would get caught. She looked around the sparse room once more then looked back at him. "What are you expecting that I will be able to do for you later that you would help me now? And how will I get food from this hiding hole?"

Dicer replied simply to her, "Don't worry about what you will do for me. That will come in time. As for food, that is easily done. I have my ways". He looked at her with another smirk, she seemed infuriated by him. Good, he seemed to like a negative reaction from people. "Want to complain more or do you want to actually go through with this scheme of yours?", he asked her.

Sorcha raised an eyebrow, "There are eggs on the sands now?" She had hoped but not really dreamed that she would come when the eggs were actually there for the taking on the first day. Or perhaps he had another part of plan in mind....she shrugged and waited for his answer.

"No. The Weyrwoman's dragon has yet to even rise to mate before that happens. For now you will have to be patient and wait it out", he told her. He leaned against the wall near him and looked at her, silence fell between them momentarily.

Sorcha's face fell a little before she let a mask fall over it. She stood in the silence, comfortable, thinking her own thoughts. It seemed nothing had gone to plan. She would have to wait for the queen to mate then for the eggs to be laid and mature. Her face showed nothing of what she thought anymore. All the frustration and anger was now gone leaving an empty face.
Some think of empty faces as the face one wears when they sleep but that is not it. It is the face one wears when they feel they must shield themselves from the world for a while. This was what she wore for now disappointment had set so heavily that for a few moments she floundered on the brink of despair. But being of the stock she was she pulled together and decided to set her days to planning what exactly she would do. But this time she would be better informed of what went on so her plans didn't fall apart.
"What happens after the queen lays the eggs? Are they guarded? Are there any passage ways from here to the hatching grounds that are rarely used?" She would plan so well she would be in the Southern continent and away from all these terrible people within two years at least.

"You have to wait for them to harden and the Queens very protective over them. You would have to sneak in steal an egg and get out of there and hide as fast as you can. She gets angry if you take her eggs especially when she leaves them. You will have time to plan everything out though. Lay low until the time is right", he told her. He could tell she wasn't too happy that she would have to wait but oh well what could be done? "You're just going to have some patience", he told her. Then looked her over again and rested his gaze on her eyes, checking her facial expressions as well when they would change. Often though, eyes told alot about a person.

Sorcha shrugged, "If I am stuck here I might as well learn all I can so that I plan I formulate will be good and work." She looked straight back at him with fearless albeit worried eyes. She wasn't sure she could pull this off yet. She wondered, idly, what had sent his path towards the darkness so much. The only person she would be seeing was him for a while so she figured she might as well make a hobby of him. She would just work her way around his mind until she knew what it was, who knew it might actually help her in the end.

Dicer raised his eyebrow at the girl as now it seemed she looked him over. She was thinking something about him but what? Maybe she was trying to figure him out like the others, but that was fruitless, not even Dicer could crack how and why his mind worked like it did. Often he would question who or what he was. Right now he was this what he was now. Dark, evil and reveling in it. He was smart and quick witted. He looked back at the girl staring back at her.

She continued to stare at him her eyes picking over details of him, again she was struck by the fact that while terrifying in a way, he really was attractive, interesting, some quality kinda made her want to know more. She shrugged slightly, perhaps it was the fact that it seemed like he was being mysterious without knowing it or maybe he didn't know why. Or perhaps he really didn't want to know.
She sighed, her eyes returning to his face or what she could see of it, "So what do you suppose I should do now? I do acknowledge the fact that you know your way around and what might be the better course of action" She didn't add that she couldn't really trust him to always tell him what that action might be.

"Right now you wait. There is nothing you can do at this point but wait", he told her simply. He watched her eyes glancing over his features. His gaze alone let her know he watched her look him over. Great does this girl have a crush on me now? Could be worse, atleast she looks nice. He thought to himself. He still would not allow himself to show emotion and he wouldn't even hint this to the girl.

Sorcha raised her eyebrows and folded her arms, "What you planning on doing? watching me this entire time then?" To tell the truth she could probably do with some sleep after all the time she had spent on the road with one eye half opened looking for danger. It seemed that he really had no intention of leaving yet and she wondered why that was. Did he have something more to discuss or was he waiting on her to kick him out? She sighed in agitaion. It seemed she went from anger to resignment in a matterof moments.

"No I do not. I will take my leave if you have nothing further to ask or say to me. Stay out of site I will return later with some food", he told her. He gave her one last look and left, like a shadow soon gone. He was good at not being followed or caught and no one would.

Sorcha watched as the shadow left then tried to stand but found she was already standing. She looked around at the room in confusion. She remembered getting here but all of a sudden she was confused. She sighed then moaned and put her hand on her stomach. The sigh had produced a light headed feeling and a gut wrench. She wavored on her feet for a few moments before steading against the wall again. Even though the bed was a few steps away she found she couldn't reach it. She watched as pink elephants paraded past the door then drew a shuddering breath.
She needed to lay down now before she felt any worse. Perhaps if she rested she would feel better. She tried to move but couldn't due to dizziness. She looked around a moment then decided to wait until it passed before she moved. She stood there completely still for a long time and her body was now covered with a light sheen of sweat. She put her head back against the cold wall and waited hoping it passed.

Dicer soon returned with some food and some cold water. When he entered the room he looked at her, she did not look good at all. "Are you alright", he asked her though no hint of worry lay in his voice. He sat the plate and cup on a nearby table and walked to her but enough distance to give her space should she need it.

Sorcha rolled her head down and looked at the figure in her line of vision. It wavered and moved in time to a rhythm. She giggled and moved forward determined to show this dancing shadow that she was the best.....Her body slowly started falling forward onto Dicer. Her skin was very hot and had gone pale beneath her usually tan skin. Sorcha was no longer doing so hot.
For a while she dreamed nothing then images started flashing though her mind. A little blonde girl twirling in the sunlight giggling with pure joy. A boy running around with a pail of water and flinging it at other kids in a water fight. Blue eyes taking in the sea for the first time with her dad....She would either be caught by Dicer or fall on the floor as she became unconcious and/or sleeping.

Dicer caught the girl just in time and carried her to the cot. She was hot that much was obvious. There was nothing to cool her down but the cold water, thankfully he brought it. He tilted her head up and put some across her forehead and then opened her mouth to pour some in. "Drink this. It will cool you some. Other than that I don't know how to cool you down", he told her, hoping she could conceive what he was saying.

Sorcha shook her head sharply at the drink, "I don't wanna go wit chu mommy! No!" She yelled at Dicer then shook her head before laying limp for a few minutes before a slow smile crossed her face, "You're not going to EVER get away from me..." In a deadly singsong croon was this sentence spoken, filled with venom it was. All the nastiness she had evidently felt towards whoever she spoke to was now out. A malicious chuckle escaped her lips before her face feel to the side facing Dicer. Her eyes stared straight ahead seeing nothing but what her scattered delirious dreams possessed her to see.
Suddenly she seemed to come back to herself and snatched the cup from him. She leaned forward and stared at the cup and stared at it a long minute before taking a drink that almost drained the whole cup before slinging it across the room. She fell back and thankfully fell asleep before she embarrassed herself further.

Dicer raised an eyebrow but knew the girl was delirious. He watched as she slung the cup after snatching it and taking a sip. Then looked on as she fell asleep. He placed her in the bed and let her be. He backed off and watched her from a distance. Now he had to watch her at this point to know she would be alright.

Sorcha slept on for a few hours, every now and again she mumbled something incoherently. It seemed she had picked something up from the dirt clod on the side of the green she passed going to mountain city of the huge dwarves. She tossed and turned tangling herself up in the bed until she almost fell off. After a while she would hit true sleep and stop moving around.
She came back to herself a little later and looked around to find that Dicer still was here. Her brow furowed and she felt herself get cross again. It seemed like she was always cross here or was it perhaps that the sickness just made her feel cross at everyone in general and he was the only one around? In any case she wasn't happy he was here, "What are you...you doing here?" It seemed the words still wanted to play hide and seek with her. She flomped her head back on the pillow staring at him. It seemed she didn't have too much energy to sit right now or didn't want to.

"Making sure your condition didn't get worse. You passed out in my arms then got dilerious then fell asleep. But you seem to be better now", he told her. Not caring if she was in a bad mood or not.
