Besides if she wasn't punished she would have asked for it. Either way she would have gotten her way, whether K'dan enjoyed the outcome or not. She heard Hydrath, but it didn't matter now. "Besides, I did have a part to do with this. I was the one who came down here in the first place, you just came along. Basically an innocent bystander. You fought because you thought he was going to attack me, that wouldn't have happened if I just asked someone his name. Instead I had to ask him." She said, to K'dan and the Weyrwoman. You could have gotten out of punishment Ebbeth said quietly to her. But what would I have gained from it? Nothing. I would have lost from not taking it

"Ok but I still attacked him. I misjudged the situation and it's my fault. Akki talking to someone and wanting to know their name isn't a crime. Attacking someone, fully misjudging the situation, is. This is not your fault and I have told you that the entire way here. This is all my fault", he said to her. He was bound and determined to make sure she wasn't going to get caught up in this.

"K'dan, do shut it. If you don't I will be forced to kick you in the shin, and we are in enough trouble all ready." She pointed out, one hand on her hip as she looked at him. "Besides, if I went up to a very important person and asked if his or her name was Stuffy Annoying Fellow, I would get in troulbe. So it could be a crime." She said with a shrug.

"Akki this isn't your fault and I won't allow you to blame yourself anymore. You have been avoiding that question and it's painfully obvious you blame yourself for what happened. I attacked him and that is that, if you tried to stop us you would have gotten badly hurt and it was all over so fast you didn't have any time to react and besides that mere words couldn't have stopped us so any way you look at this you can see it is all my fault and you had nothing to do with it", he said to her.

"K'dan, I made up my mind. I'm stubborn you know, I won't change it." She said truthfully. It was true, she was stubborn. But she did know she was, so it wasn't as bad as not knowing that you're stubborn. "Besides, I believe you need to apologize to Klah, I mean, Dicer." She said, quickly correcting herself with a grimace.

"I will apologize to Dicer but I still stand on what I said. It isn't your fault, you had nothing to do with it, and you will not get punished for my stupid mistake. I am very stubborn to you know", he said back to her. Why was she so intent on getting herself in trouble, none of this was her fault.

She rolled her eyes, grabbed his arm and said, "Come on then stubborn boy. You're going to apologize. And I'm going to come. I don't want you to get in trouble again you know.". Actually, that wasn't the reason but she had nothing better to do at this moment and she really didn't trust Dicer alone with K'dan. That's just something waiting to happen.

K'dan sighed in exasperation at her and nodded in agreement. As they headed on their way they ran into Dicer who finally decided to try and return to his barracks, hoping it would be more peaceful.
"Well well well. If it isn't the deadglow who leaps before he looks. What ready for another round? I guarantee you won't make it out of this one so....intact", Dicer said with a smirk. He was a little bruised but not as bad as K'dan and with his posture and attitude you would have thought he came out of it unscaved. His cloak was now over his form again as usual and concealed his blade.
"No. I came to apologize for my hasty actions, Dicer. I am sorry, I jumped to the wrong conclusion", he said to him, though he practically spat out Dicer.
Dicer glanced over to the girl next to him, "Akki is it? You better keep an eye on your beloved K'dan". He walked off and back into his barracks. He laid on his cot and gave a smirk as he closed his eyes.
"There I sincerely apologized to him", he said to her and went back to the weyrwoman. "I will report to the headwoman immediately. Akki had nothing to do with this so please don't punish her for my foolish actions", he said to the weyrwoman in the same tone he had before. With that he began to leave, Sharan following behind him.

Christae looked at him. "I stand by my decision. Dicer will be punished as well. You all showed a serious lack of restraint and I will not allow this to happen in my weyr." Her voice was cold. "Akki said it herself. She knew the consequences of allowing you to pick a fight. She will have a sevenday's worth of work. You will have two and Dicer will have two. I am considering making you work together."
((the whole cloak thing is annoying....no offence....))

Akki felt like she should have repeated what she said to Dicer again but then grinned to herself. The only way her words would be effective on him would be if they come true and he learns them himself. Of course he would probably deny it and call them names, but still. Akki went back, to hear K'dan say again not to punish her, which only caused her to roll her eyes dramatically. She walked by Christae, mouthing 'Sorry' to her before running to catch up to K'dan. "You weren't going to make me walk alone, were you?" She asked, jokingly.

K'dan gave a sigh, now this meant Akki could have a reason to blame herself. "Um...no ofcourse not. Akki please believe when I say this is my fault and not yours. You had nothing to do with it. I am sorry I just got you into all of this. I am truely sorry", he said to her.Dicer's words rang in his head. You better watch your beloved K'dan. What did he mean by that, did this mean the new candidate now had it out for him......or what? This would riddle his head with questions.

"K'dan? I got myself into this by being myself. Now hush up. Other wise you'll ruin my day." She said sticking out tongue happily. She tilted her head to one side and said, "What are you thinking?". Probably something about what just happened or..."Are you thinking of making me walk alone K'dan? That's not nice".

K'dan gave an exasperated sigh, he was obviously not going to get through to her but he couldn't allow her to blame herself for his mistake. He gave a half smile as she mentioned him making her walk alone. "Why no Akki I wouldn't do that", he said to her with a joking tone and held his arm out as if to escort her. "No I'm just thinking about what Dicer said that's all", he continued then decided not to give it another thought for now.

"Good." She declared as she hooked arms with her. "Thinking about it? K'dan, you're not a deadglow you now. Or at least I don't think you are. Hydrath might, but I doubt it." She said, pointing out the obvious which was punctuated with a careless shrug of her shoulders.

K'dan gave a laugh, "No, I know I am not a deadglow. That isn't it. It was the very last thing he said before he left that bothers me", he said to her. I am not a deadglow. ~Yes, we know you aren't Hydrath. She is just picking~, K'dan clarified.

She thought for a moment and said, "I thought the deadglow comment was the last thing he said.". She bit her lip, was she losing her memory? Was it from old age?! Doubted it, she wasn't that old. 'Maybe I'm just stupid' she thought with a small chuckle.

"Oh really he said it to you. The deadglow comment he said to me but he turned to you afterwards. Geez Akki you are getting a bad memory if you can't remember what someone said just a moment ago", he said to her and gave a nudge to her side after he finished speaking.

"Are you saying I'm getting old?"She asked, her face wrinkled with worry. "Do you think I would look good with gray or white hair? I hope it's white hair, grey seems drab. White seems new and exciting." She said, holding her hair out in front of her face, either imagining what it would look like white or examining it for a white or grey hair.
