Chilling at the beach

Aureth looked to Hydrath.
[glow=blue,2,300]No, we just need fair teams. Ebbeth! You can help me beat them![/glow]He swam to the largeblue and looked up at his wedge-face.

Hydrath followed quickly behind her. He started out closer to her than last time. He laughed as he played around with Ruanth, he was having a good time. K'dan looked over to Nike then turned his attention back on the dragons. He shook his thoughts away and closed his eyes and laid out to rest and tan.

[Akki]

Ebbeth looked down at Aureth and smiled a dragonic smile and said simply [glow=blue,2,300]I will be happy too.[/glow] Akki smiled, now her blue wouldn't feel so alone, even if this was slightly unfair considering the advantage Ebbeth has. Or did he have one? Sure the otehrs were smaller, but probably more agile because of their small size.

Aureth grinned and chased after Ruanth as well.
He would't let her get away this time.
Ruanth had swam near him when he started so he ended up very close to the dragon.
With a swift movement he went below and got closer, popping up behind her.

Ruanth snaked her head around to see Hydrath following close.
She dodged around the lake. The white knew that he was close, but when she flew! He would never catch her!
Nike had a slight smile on her face as she laid out to dry, rest, and tan.
You will never be able to catch me again! I am watching you closely!
The white said playfully.

[nike]

Ruanth turned around to see Aureth right behind her.
You won't catch me either! She said dodging away.

[Dragon]

The blue gained more speed and drew closer to her. He was now almost able to catch her. He had to catch her, he had to prove he could. Sure he was small but he was fast and agile, he had the best chance of all to catch her.

[Akki]

Ebbeth watched for a moment before slipping under the surface, only able to see a white spot that represented the small white. He used his tail, moving it side to side and passed underneath Ruanth. He popped up in front of her, a bit away and continued to watch.

[Miki]

Aureth cut in front of Hydrath but was careful not to hurt him. With a large pump from his wings he almost leaped and caught her loosely. He struggled to hold her tighter so she couldn't get away.

[nike]

Ruanth could feel Ebbeth go underneith her. She grinned to herself. Then she felt
a body hold her tightly to it. She was quite surprised and struggled.
Her eyes met the ones of Aureth.
You caught me! She said surprised.

[Dragon]

Hydrath quickly dodged around Aureth and was at even pace with him. He also caught Ruanth a bit loosely but he was determined to keep hold on her, he wouldn't be beaten, he had to prove himself.

Gerenanth came out of the blue and bumped into Ebbeth. Hello Ebbeth, we can't let the younger dragons have all the fun.

Aureth's eyes widened as he realized what happened.
[glow=blue,2,300]I did.[/glow]
He was a bit surprised himself.
He had just felt he had to prove to Hydrath that he had just as much of a chance.

D'ran was even a bit surprised by Aureth's actions.
~Good job...~

Aureth didn't want to hurt Hydrath but he whipped his tail and splashed water in the little dragon's eyes.

You also caught me! She said surprised at Hydrath.

[Akki]

[glow=blue,2,300]Hmm? No, I suppose we shouldn't know should we? Care to join me?[/glow]He asked as he lifted his tail and whacked it on top of the water, sending waves of water in every direction. [glow=blue,2,300]How long can you continue to hold?[/glow] He asked the small blues as he sent another powerful wave towards them.

I did? Oh I mean I did. No one should underestimate me. I am just as useful in this weyr. Since the feast he felt he had to prove himself. K'dan shook his head at the dragon's words and continued to lay by Nike and relax.

Aureth let go quietly and swam away.
He really was feeling bad but he couldn't explain why.
~What's wrong?~

Aureth flicked his tail and walked away.
It wasnt that he was jealous of Hydrath but it was too complicated for him to explain, even to himself.

Something troubles our clutch brother. I hope he will be ok. Hydrath let go of Ruanth and was sent back by the waves that the two older dragons were creating.

I can hold out for as long as is needed don't worry about that. He sent waves at the younger dragons.

Aureth slipped into the water but stayed in the shallow area, watching the others play. Nobody could sneak up on him by going under the water or splash him with hitting the ground themselves.
He was comfortable and he would stay there for a little while.

Jesseth emerged from between over the water where the other dragons played.
~Drop me off on shore then you can go and join the others in the water.~
~Why on shore? You’re going to get wet sooner or later, remember last time?~
~I know I just don’t want this towel to get wet.~
Jesseth muttered something about him being fussy but complied with R’dan’s wishes. As soon as R’dan slid off his back, the brown dragon leapt into the air and flew over the water.
~I can help you guys,~ Jesseth said to Ebbeth and Gerenanth with a draconic grin. He pulled his wings close to his body and plunged into the water creating a great wave.

[Dragon]

Sure come join us. We can have smaller dragons against the bigger dragons. Gerenanth sent another huge wave at the dragons and engulfed them in the wave.
