Tali saw Taiholt go into Rogin's room. Instant jealousy panged her.
"Sir, there is someone watching us. Everytime, I go in the Kitchen I feel their eyes on me, watching. I am sure it's not Veran, else he'd do something. This has gone on for days. I am......afriad. My fears are not to be taken lightly." She stood at attention. "I saw someone in the corner of eye. When I turned to look, I saw a foot."

"Then why didn't you step on it?" he asked. Rogin knew everything that happened in his home and if there was something going on he didn't know about ROgin was one to find out quick. "I will have Konta look into it. Don't worry. If you see anything else going on, or a foot out of place, step on it. Konta will be watching the area and Ferik will be sniffing around. Not need to worry."
Rogin sent word to Konta and imediately the canine and handler pair went to work. They searched every inch of land in and around the cave within 100 yard radious. Nothing would escape them.

Tia looked at Rogin then as Spike. She chuckled.
"I don't know, sir. Another thing, I noticed some human tracks that was out of place as well. They were coming from the west. I followed them but lost them at the river. I Could they have an escape already planned out, if they are enemies? If this is true, we must find their escape routes and eliminate them. That way there -will- be no way out. I would suggest moving the camp after this. I know of a place where it is hidden by air and footpaths. We can not risk exposure, sir. In fact the only way to get in out out place is by water."
Tia still stood at attention. Her eyes ever alert, her ears open to anything. Even in her sleep.

Rogin looked at her, "Relax. THere is a reason why I have chosen this place. And allow Konta to deal with the intruder. GO back to your studies." he said. Rogin was sure that he knew the intruder but he was not going to say anything to Tia. "You may leave."

She snapped her heels together and gave him and Spike a nod of respect and left. She was heading back to Veran.
"Master? Are you here?" she called. She entered the cave and saw Quynn, even more bloody than when she last saw him. She smiled. "It seems that you have made Veran mad at you. How does it feel to be sliced up? Does it hurt? I hope so."
Quynn was to tired the speak even to cry out. He just whimpered.
"I guess you may rest. Even though I could kill you with a second glance. The thought has crossed my mind many times."She looked around. "I hate you. I hate what you have done to my sister and you will pay!" He took her knife. So easily. She could kill him so easily. Just push the knife through the soft part of the throat. The urge to kill was so much greater now the Veran wasn't there. She realized that she was a lot like her Master. A twisted smile emerged on her face. Her knife was poised to strike! A disgusted look on her face.

"Hold!" Veran entered the room and looked at her, "DO you plan to kill our only test subject? How will I teach you after?" Veran moved over to her and took the knife. "Enough, go to your room and sleep. You will need your rest." Veran looked at Quynn, "I suggest you stop your words and thoughts. You need to learn it is better to live."

Tia sighed. She wasn't going to aplogize because there was no real reason to. She hung her head and tried to divert her gaze from Veran but she could not.
"Yes, Master." As she passed Quynn, she glared at him. Tia undressed herself so that Veran could watch but not the test subject. Then she got in bed and turned over on her side watched him.

Veran looked at her, "Are you sleeping with me all of the sudden? i did say your room. THis is mine." Veran chuckled and tied a cloth around the eyes of Quynn so he couldn't get any ideas. He looked at the boy and tied him tighter just in case. Veran went to the furs and undressed and layed with her. His arm going around her waist and pulling her to him.

Veran held her and sighed. He gave her a quick kiss and began to fall asleep. He would know if anything moved in the middle of the night. His ears would tell him.

Tia felt his even breathing on her chest as she held him. "Good night, love." She kissed him back. She felt safe with him. She fell asleep in his strong arms.
Tali snuck in during the night and saw Quynn. She grinned. Ooooooh, YES! This is too good to pass up! Then she saw Veran and Tia asleep. She sighed. She knew how he slept.
"Be glad I'm just here to give you a warning, boy or esle you would die right where you stand. Here's the warning. Stop all of the smart arse talk, its making me and the others angry. It's better to live than to die!" Her eyes cold, unforgiving from the punishments she had been given. She drew closer to him and whispered in his ear. "I know what you are, boy! You don't fool me. What gives you the right to take my life away from me? hmmm? Who are you to do that? You are nobody. Nothing but a smart arse little fecking brat! You don't hold a candle to me. If Veran wasn't in the next room, I would slit your fecking throat! I wish I was the one cutting you.....but I hate you too much for that."
