False Accusation((Rogin, Veran, Konta))

Quynn was looking for the rapist that hurt his mother. He was hunting for him and when he found him he was going to kill him. He was walking through the forest and came across a series of caves that seemed to be inhabited. He crept closer to the site and he was behind a bush nearby. He saw that the caves were inhabited by Renegades. He got an arrow in his bow at the ready.

Careful as to not to alert the guards, he climbed a nearby tree. He waited patiently for what appeared to be the leader to make his appearance. He did. He pulled back the arrow in silence. He thought this Man hurt his mother and made her crazy.

Tiaholt was doing washing clothes in the stream nearby when she sensed something dreadfully wrong. Call it woman's intuition. She got up and started to run toward Him. Quynn let loose the arrow. Tiaholt jumped in between the arrow and Him. The arrow hit Tia instead of Rogin. The arrow hit the same spot that the Hold Guards shot her in.

Tia fell to the ground, writhing in pain, holding her shoulder.

"Varen! Varen!" she yelled his name in agony. She looked at Rogin then, she blacked out. Mainly because of the pain.

Boop had been laying down when he picked up a unfamiliar scent. The canine had been there for a while so he knew all the scents of the forest. He looked at Konta and gruffed to get his attention. He sniffed the air and picked up the same smell. Something out of place. He gave out a low, soft growl but stayed until Konta gave his command. Boop knew something wasn't right.

Konta looked at the canine and then at Ferik. He looked around. They were upset. "Sick 'em." he told the canines.

Spike saw Tia fall and let out a shriek. He knew the arrow was headed to his Pet and he didn't like that. He bolted to where it came from and attacked who was inside the tree.

Rogin picked up Tia and brought her into the cave. Veran came running out and shook his head. "Not again." he said. "I only fixed you a few weeks ago. You are bad luck." He took out his knives and began tending to Tia's wound. Rogin didn't like attacks on his people. But even more so attacks on himself. Good thing Tia noticed when she did.

Boop took off running toward the tree, barking mencingly. The gutteral growl almost sounded like a dragons!

Quynn fell down from the tree, all the while trying to get the flit off of him.

"Go away! Get off me!" Quynn had lost his bow and quiver and it was out of reach. He swatted at Spike and hit him.

Boop was on him in seconds! He snarled and growled deeply almost in a feral manner. He tried to reach for the bow and quiver. He was also kicking at the canine. He kicked Boop in the side and he whined but this canine would not let down!

"Get away from me, you mutt!" Quynn said. He tried to stand.

Ferik charged the boy and was on top of him. He snapped at his face, stopping inches away. He growled. This canine wasn't a pup. He was LARGE. even for his kind. Spike cried out as he was hit and that sent Rogin into a Fury. None injured his spike. Rogin charged at the boy. Ferik sensed Rogin coming and jumped off with a wimpper. He barked at Boop to warn the pup away from the target. Spike moved quickly away to the tree. If none has seen Rogin in this mood they were in for a nightmare. He was baring down on the boy quickly.

Boop backed off as he heard Spike's cry with a whine.

Quynn tried to run but he was so scared that he stumbled over himself and kept tripping up. First he saw a nightmarish canine up in his face. Then hearing the flit cry out, he saw Rogin come for him. He scoffed at Him....but then he saw the eyes. The eyes of Death, his death. His face seemed to go pale. Paralyzed with fear, his blood ran cold and he felt his heartbeat and evenheard it! He opened his mouth but nothing came out but a scream of terror as He was almost on top of him!

Rogin lifted the boy easily with one hand, not slowing his steps, and pinned him to the tree he fell out of. His breath was seething out from his mouth. "Do you have a death wish?" he asked softly. "An attempt on my life is fine. But you have injured my flit. I will not forgive this. " His hand began to tighten around his throat. "What do you have to say for yourself? Why have you attacked me?"

"You took advantage of my mother!" Quynn hissed. He was choking and soon felt light headed.

Boop barked at Quynn and growled menacingly. He didn't like the boy. There was something about him that he didn't like.

Rogin lifted a brow at the boy. "Your mother? Boy I have taken advantage of many mothers. Which one was she? And as of late I have not taken an interest in any such women."

"If I find out who did, I'm going to put an arrow through their neck! I am sorry I hurt your flit and accused you. Her name was Desania. My father blamed me for the incident. That's why he went home, to be away from me. No one wants me, no one cares..." he said.

Boop wasn't a happy camper. He growled at Quynn. The hairs on the back of his neck rose and his head down down slightly. His anger was because he attacked Rogin. Even though the boy apologized, there was something off about this boy and Boop knew it wasn't good. He looked like a demon canine. Quynn saw Boop and he cowered down in Rogin's hand.

Rogin looked at the canine. "Go to Konta." he said. It wasn't a harsh tone. He nodded his gratitude to the canine then looked back at Quynn. "You say you will kill the man that has and none want you? Then maybe you shall stay here. You will be a drudge till i see fit to call you otherwise." He said. his hand began to slowly release the boy.

Boop whimpered and went to Konta and sat next to him but still growling, softly.

"Who are -you- to tell me what to do, sir?" Quynn was asking for it. Once released the boy ran off into the forest. He was afraid. Afraid of being killed. Boop whimpered and pawed the ground as he saw him run away.

Tali saw the incident from above. She drew her knife and dropped down before the boy. She was done with all of her chores.

"Where do -you- think your going, boy!

Admin's Note:[/hr] An attempt of the life or our leader is an attempt on the Family." she growled. Her eyes narrowed. She walked forward and she even stomped her foot and fake lunged at him. Quynn fliched. Tali laughed as she did it again. She was toying with him.

"It is punishable to death, you know." a twisted smile was on her face. She was teasing him. She got up inches away from his face and whispered in his ear. "I would love nothing more than to snap your neck, right now." She put her knife up aganist his throat, caressing the hole between the collar bone and the neck. She had a wicked look on her face, almost like that of when she killed her father.

"What do you want to do with this one, father? Is he one of us?" she asked. She sized him up and scoffed. "He doesn't look like much but then again....I don't know." She sweeped his foot out from underneath and let him fall on his arse. "You don't fool me, boy!" her voice was cold and low. "If that Man says to kill you, don't you think I will without a second thought." She gave out a maniacal laugh and waited on Rogin's command.

Quynn's eyes grew wide and was backing up. He was afraid. Ohh, this was too good! She enjoyed playing with him. She cracked her neck and approached the boy, looking as omnious as ever. He tried to get back up but she kept on sweeping his foot and he fell on his side this time. She chuckled and growled and snapped at him! He cringed and cowered down. She laughed again and shook her head.

Rogin watched her. He was a bit impressed. He didn't notice she was in the tree. But he was more occupied with someone trying to kill him. Rogin cleared his throat. "Get back to work Tali." he said. A slight grin on his lips. "Konta take the canines and feed them. Take the drudge inside and tend to her wounds. On second thought Tali help out with that." He began approaching the boy and kept his eyes on him.

Veran slipped away unnoticed and decided to have his own fun. Rogin looked at the boy. "Why would you attack alone and attacking a man you know nothing about?"

"Yes, father." As she passed, she faked slap at the boys face. He fliched. She smiled and chuckled. A slight grin appeared on her face. "He's fun!" she exclaimed and went to tend to Tia's wound.

Quynn backed up as Rogin came near. His ankles hurt from Tali sweeping them. Terror in his eyes, he flinched again and shook beneath His feet.

"I-I don't know...I figured you were an easy target and then that girl stopped my arrow. I didn't see her....honest I didn't! Please don't hurt me!" Quynn's voice was wavering, even shaking.

Rogin glared at the boy. "And what made you think I was an easy target?" he asked. Rogin glared at him again. "It doesn't matter if you saw her or not. I think since you have injured her you will take her place. You are now mine. I own you and you will obey."

Quynn reached for his bow and quiver and slung the bow on one shoulder and the quiver on the other. "I thought you were an easy target because no one around." He licked his lips, thinking about the girl that jsut jumped him. "That girl that jumped me...she's pretty cute. Is she one of yours? Uhhh---Tali I think?"

Tia awoke from the second arrow wound and saw the Veran was gone and Tali was taking care of her now. The 14 Turn old took a cloth and some water and cleaned her wound in silence. Tia smiled as graditude. Tali didn't smile back, just scoffed.

"You should have been more careful!" She said, anger under the tone.

"Well, if I -didn't- do what I -did-, then Rogin would have been dead!!" she angrily hissed. She sighed.

"You shouldn't have done that." Tali said.

"What? Sacrifice my -own- life to save His!

Admin's Note:[/hr]" she could not believe what she was hearing! "What are you after, girl?"

"Never you mind and mind your own sharding business!" She drew her knife on her.

"Oh, miss high and mighty needs a weapon to feel safe." Tia laughed. "I don't -need- a weapon to feel safe. I already do. I feel confident enough that I can use my body to fight."

"I wouldn't be talking if I were you, you are nothing but a wounded animal to me! Rogin -told- me to take care of you. I don't want to. I will kill you if you get in my way." Tali swore.

"Don't you get it? You are Rogin's. I have come to accept that that I am too. You do what is told of you or your dead. Rogin was very clear on that part. I will defend this Family and all who are in it even if its against another. Just because I'm wounded doesn't mean I'm no good, girl. I am still good to Rogin. He saved us all, even gave you the power to set out what you needed to to do. I would think again about doing this, whatever it is. Acting upon your anger only worsens the deal. I learned that the hard way." Tiaholt closed her eyes and opened them again. "What would be different without our Rogin? He has the power, Tali. He wasn't born yesterday. He has gone through what we go through and what everyone goes through. He doesn't treat us differentlythan the others, he treats with with respect. He doesn't beat you, does he? He gave us a home and family that cares what we do and how we do it and when he sees one that goes astray He herds us back in. It's called disicpline and everyone needs it.

"Rogin tries his best, Tali. He does have a heart. Why am I still alive? Because I said the right things at the right time. I can read people pretty well. Tali, you are difficult but that's okay. I can be too as well."

"Enough words!" she angrily spat and walked off. She used to wall to get up. "Rogin!" she called at the entrance of the cave.

Rogin watched the boy. "Yes she is one of mine. And off limits to the likes of you. Besides I don't think you are her type. Now if you don't want me to unleash the two things that want you dead then I suggest you quickly get to work Drudge. You have lost your name." he said. Veran sneaked up behind the boy and took in his scent. He wanted to be able to know him wherever he appeared. Mostly so he could kill him when he was allowed. Rogin shook his head and Veran backed off.

Veran decided to check on Tia. Though he didn't know why. He began to walk back into the cave. When he heard a female voice yell for Rogin Veran ran to the cave. A small sense of him was worried.

"Tali...she ran off." Tia told him. "We were talking I was telling her that she should understand that this was a Family and you do care.........but she's planning something......I don't know what. She said if I get in her way, she would kill me! She won't listen to me and anyone else and Veran," she set her hand on his arm. "she seemed really upset when I got in front of that arrow to save Rogin's life. Please, don't let her make the biggest mistake of her life. I would suggest have some go after her before she does something rash." Tiaholt said. "She also said that she looked at me like a wounded animal. Just because I am wounded, does that make me any worse? She said that I was useless to this family and that......." She sighed and gulped and thought of Boop. Her eyes go really big. "Boop! Oh, Faranath! Please, Veran you must do something!"

Tiaholt has never cried before until now.

Veran looked at her and tilted his head. "What are you talking about? Get a hold of yourself. Besides I need to tend to your wound. And this time don't get shot again. It is a major problem to keep fixing."

Tia sighed.

"Maybe you're right. Forgive my crazy ramblings. It's nothing. I feel better now that your here. Oh, I forget, your alllllllllways right." She smiled. She hesisted to put her hand on his shoulder. After what happened in the kitchen, she wouldn't want to repeat it.

"Veran, am I useless?" she asked, afriad of the answer.

Veran looked at her. "Of course you are. You are only a drudge. But I am sure we can find something for you." Veran chuckled and made her walk deeper into the cave. He eased her onto some furs and began mending her wounds. "You really are useless."
