Tiaholt looked puzzle as she went past the where she was. Actually she had let him take her back deeper in the cave. She smiled at him. "I still think your amazing." She wanted to touch him but she remembered her promise. Not unless he wants to. That way she knew he was ready. She made good on her promises.
Tiaholt looked at him and suddenly she felt cold. She shivered from the inside. She wasn't sure if she was really cold, if it was the lust she felt or her imagination. She sighed as she knew what she wanted but it was just out of her grasp. It was frustrating but she gave her word.
"Of course I am. Putting aside my feelings for you, I really don't mind the work. I used to loathe doing drudge work and I said that I would never stoop that low but now, look at me. I have gained a Family and a father all at once. It's a bit overwhelming. Then I meet you and......and all of that doesn't really matter. This is a moment in my life that I changed...for the good." She grimaced and yelled out in pain. She smiled at him and sighed, feeling content. She secretly liked the feel his knives cutting into her. To feel the cold steel against skin was very gratifing. She had never felt anything like it. She had begun to discover a new sensation and she was deathly afraid of it.

Veran sighed as he worked on her shoulder again. His knives keeping it clean. He leaned over and took some kindling they had stored and struck a fire. He heated the knives to make sure no infections would be cause by it. He cleaned off dirt and re-bandaged her wound. "There. You know it is no use flirting with me so I suggest you stop."

"Whose flirting?" Tiaholt asked. "I respect you is all I meant. During the time we had together, I have come to respect you. Anything less, you would probably galge their sharding eyes out to make them go blind then torture them, knowing you." She chuckled. "I like you, Veran and not in a lovey dovey kind of way. In a brotherly manner. Whether you want to admit it or not, you're stuck with me. I like you because your different. Not all these other jerks who don't know the meaning of the word. Look at me, do I look like someone who is in a position to do anything but work? If I can't measure up, I'm dead. That's one thing on my mind all the time. If I fail, then Rogin will have me killed due to my uselessness even though I provided with the things he needed to do. I can talk to you...not like the others. Its 'sir' and 'no, sir' with them. Not with you though...." She sighed. "Thank you for this, Veran. Your a good doctor and I respect that." Tiaholt said. She yawned. "When can I get back to work?"

Veran looked at her and listened. He even chuckled when she spoke of the eye gouging. "I am not a healer. But i know alot about torture and the body of people so I guess that makes me most fit to heal as far as Rogin cares about." He looked over her wound once more. "Give it about 4 days. it would allow time to begin healing. Don't do any hard work or it would open again. Keep it simple. Slow cooking or dusting off things. No lifting. This time the arrow tried to mess with some muscle. Any more toward your body and you would have lost your arm. So take it easy." he said.
Rogin came in shortly after. "The boy is going to be the drudge till you are healed. Thank you for taking that shot Tia." he said. Rogin looked her over and then at Veran. "How is it?"
Veran stood and respectfully placed his fist over his heart, knuckles against his chest. "Not to bad. A couple of days, a sevenday at most." He looked at Rogin with utmost respect and even he showed a bit of fear.
Rogin nodded and smiled, his body seemed to relax a bit. "Good, good, that is good. I am going to look over the information we have so far. Care to join me Tia?" he asked.
Veran looked from Rogin to Tiaholt a bit surprised. Also began to wonder why. Normally he was the one that helped Rogin with tactics.

"It was the least I could do. Veran saved me from a fate far worse than death itself and you didn't kill me....for that I am eternally grateful." She got up and approached Rogin. She sighed. "Rogin, Tali was really upset when I took that arrow for you. She walked off in a rage. Should we be concerned?"

Rogin sighed and looked at her. "No do not worry. On second thought I will go check on her. You get some rest and food and heal up. We can talk another time." He sighed. At times it was tiring being in charge of a band of Renegades. "I will be on my way." Rogin turned and went looking for Talavi. Spike landed on his shoulder and together looked for his Pets hatchling.

"Rogin, do be careful. Tali may not look like much but she can be useful, eventually." Tiaholt said. "She must understand that this is a family and we do care about what happens to her. I am grateful but she....she's just an ungrateful little brat! If I find her, there won't be anything left of her."

Rogin sighed and continued to find her. He looked for her everywhere he could think of. Where could she be? he thought. Rogin sent spike out to look for her.
