Andilay nodded at the dragon, she could not communicate with him, but she knew the beast was smart. She slowly and soundlessly dropped into a crouch and got a bit closer to the door. Just close enough to hear clearly- which wasn't hard- the kidnapper wasn't bothering to whisper. His stupidity- for even the walls have ears. She smiled to herself at this. For she was pressed close against the wall. A smaller target was less noticeable and much harder to hit.
Very careful to not make a sound, she half drew her long dagger from the sheath in her boot. It was one of her favorite blades, especially since the way it was curved made it look so menacing. It was a practiced movement, devoid of the usual ring that sometimes happens when a blade is drawn.
However, she would have to wait to use it. The closet was an enclosed space, and to many people could get hurt if she barged in. No, it would be wise to wait. And so, the spider bides her time as she waits for the fly.

Hasima was very grateful that K’ris was there. Not only because now she could be considered somewhat safe but because he seemed to be handling the situation quite well in her opinion. If Hasima was in his position, she would have been bumbling like an idiot. K’ris was actually forming sentences, kudos to him.
The teeniest of smiles appeared on her face as K’ris mentioned Rimith. It was nice to know that her dragon wanted to protect her that badly. She could hear the bellows and could almost picture the yellow beast clawing and snarling. Maybe that would be enough to convince this Jormir character to let her go. Then again, maybe not. Jormir quickly refused and Hasima could feel the metal of the blade once again kiss her skin. It was odd, she never thought of her body as easy to break. But suddenly she was realizing how easy it was to cut skin – this thought wasn’t very reassuring at all.
Hasima was thinking of more important things though. If she did, Rimith would die also. She hadn’t even considered this but suddenly wanted to pummel the man. Not that she was in the position to do so but she couldn’t allow Rimith to get hurt. “He’s smart than you.” She mumbled softly, not even sure if Jormir heard that comment or not.
Rimith stopped her clawing, crouched down as she strained to keep herself still. Her body practically shivered from the effort. Dragons didn’t attack people, but she was going to make an exception if he hurt Hers. If Hasima was killed, Rimith had intentions to hold out on going Between so she could use her teeth to rip the mans heart out. Was it possible? She wasn’t sure, but she would find out if it was needed.

[Yes! K'ris finally came up with an idea to work with this situation xP And I know you already know 'cause we told you, Minajerie, but please don't have Andilay jump in and take charge of the situation with her knife skills ^^; ]
K'ris clenched his fists with his arms crossed when the man moved the knife against Hasima's neck. Generally, he was more of an 'act on instinct' sort of person, but he certainly did have a clever side to him - even if many people through his life barely thought of him as smart.
Andilay looks ready to help, Mine. Queroth chimed into his rider's thoughts, having caught the look and the nod the girl had given towards him.
K'ris' eyes unfocused at the conversation with his dragon, and he gave a nod in response to what Queroth had said. Right, he said, and then said to both him and Rimith, "I've got an idea." He focused back on the man, letting his arms hang to his sides.
"Well you certainly got me," he said with a shrug, putting on a somewhat defeated expression. He glanced towards the ground. "I thought I might be able to talk you out of it but I...I did already contact someone about that, just in case I...couldn't." He looked up to the man, bringing a hand up to point at his temple. "I can talk to other dragons too, so I did call about your runner..." He sighed, and turned his head a bit towards the door, hoping his voice would carry more to where Andilay could hear. "Someone should be here soon to take you to the runner you wanted." He looked back to Hasima and the man. "Just, don't hurt her. When they get here with the runner, leave her here."
"Make sure Hasima knows I'm acting," he said to Rimith. K'ris knew how frightened she could get - especially in a situation like this. He was just hoping that the man would, in fact, step away from Hasima when the 'girl with the runner for him' showed up. Hopefully Andilay would've caught on.

P'rin heard the bellowing of a dragon and took off running to see what it was. Kilzanth flew down from his ledge to land near Rimith in the Bowl. People are coming to help Rimith! Where is she? What happened?Kil find out what is going on and what happened to Hasima. P'rin hoped that his former classmate would be ok. He didn't want to see the gentle yellowrider hurt. They weren't close but the few times he had spoken with her or worked with her he had been impressed by her sweet nature. He began weaving through the halls of the Weyr, trying to find where the noise was coming from. OOC: Just throwing him out there. I intend for him to arrive right after the guy is captured

Andilay frowned as she caught the message in K'ris's voice. She quietly re-sheathed her dagger and slinked away farther into the tunnel. When she was far enough away that she thought she could straighten, she did and backtracked until she reached another storage cubbard. She opened it and unbuckled her swordbelt, mentally placing a red tag on it's location in her mind. She also glanced over her appearance and decided to take off her wrist guards and any visible weapons and left them all there.
As she walked normally, placing a little shuffle in her pace, she pulled out her braid from the back of her shirt and threw it over her shoulder in a feminine touch. Since the trouble had decided to take a girl, perhaps he wouldn't mind switching his hold on one if given another. She blinked a few times and managed to make her expression a little more innocent and her eyes that of a harmless doe. She had needed to act often before, and so had gotten quite the hand of it. Once she neared the opened door she peered shyly in, knocking lightly on the doorframe. "Uh.. ex-excuse me? I was told to bring a runner to the closest entrance to here... Admin's Note:
"

He smirked, smug rat that he was, “Hardly kid, I’m not stupid enough to leave this little prize here behind now am I? Whilst you separate me off, and then go back on your word as soon as she’s safe? I might look on the dense side, but I’ve got more smarts than that.”
He shook his head and laughed, in a foul arrogant sort of manner, “Go on then Kid, what’s your name? Might as well find out who it is put this wherry before me, even if it is only a momentary bother.
He heard the girl’s arrival, innocent as a pup, he smiled in that uneasy way, “C’mon Hasima, you and I are going for a Walk.” He began to step towards the exit to the room, eyes never shifting from K’ris. “Well lad, at least you keep your word.
“Now here’s the clincher, I’m taking that runner, and so as you have no Dragon follow me? She’ll be riding with me, I’ll drop her off close to one of your tithing holds and be on my way, no harm no foul right?” He chuckled Darkly, he still held cards, good cards, “And if I see a dragon in the air? Even so much as a flitter, I’ll hang her guts for all manner of Southern beasties.”

The boy’s words were comforting to the yellow dragon. The lad had an idea, she could only sit back and wait to see the outcome. It was hard to do – every passing minute was a strain on her. How she wanted to just tear down the walls and sink her teeth into the man!
He has a plan, do not worry. She crooned softly to her bonded. She could only hope that her words would be somewhat comforting. The introverted girl didn’t need to know that they were still stuck in a very delicate situation.
Not that Hasima wasn’t fully aware of that. She could feel her heart beating wildy in her ribcage…could the others hear it? Was it deafening to them also? Oh Faranth. This wasn’t how she expected her day to wind up as. Still, better her than Kira.
There is a strange man in the Weyr, claims he was stuck here due to the hurricane and needed directions. Hasimamine helped him and they’re in a storage room, a knife to her throat. Queroth’s bonded is there and so is a candidate. Rimith relayed to Kilzanth, her words filled with a shocking maliciousness. The yellow was no longer the kindred soul that matched Hasima perfectly. Her teeth were bared, her claws digging into the ground as her tail whipped wildly behind her.
Hasima’s body was tensing up. The shivering was no longer there…could shivers be scared stiff? Because it seemed like that was happening. She was no prize. Had the man even looked at her? She was pale, scrawny and could barely manage to get out an entire situation. Ha! A prize indeed. Her body jerked forward, feet stumbling to move as he lead her towards the door. She didn’t want to go for a walk with him and she definitely didn’t want to go for a ride. What if the man couldn’t be trusted?
What if he never let her off at a hold and just kept riding away with her stuck with him. There were so many thoughts practically screaming in her head.
I will make him regret the day he was born. As soon as Mine is free from his grasp, I will rip him apart!

As soon as the man refused to let Hasima go, K'ris' previously displayed expression of defeat fell away. When the man started walking towards the exit, K'ris stepped to the side to block it off as much as he could. "You're not leaving this Weyr unless it's alone," he said, a note of determination that bordered on command tinging his voice in a way it had never done in front of anyone at the Weyr. He glanced to Hasima's terrified expression, then added, "At the very least, not with her."
Mine... Admin's Note:
Queroth asked, looking towards the door from the spot in the hallway he was at, stepping forward a bit into the light available so he could watch his bonded's actions Don't worry, K'ris quickly responded in assurance. He might've reminded the dragonet to keep out of sight, but a quick glance over his shoulder proved that to be useless by now. He turned his attention back to the man in the closet.
"Dragons, as far as we all know, don't hurt humans. But if you step out of this building with a knife to her throat? I can't guarantee you'll live. I don't know if you realized, but that's a full Dragon Rider you're assaulting, and the dragon she belongs to?" he made sure to word it as such, to further press his point on the man, "That dragon is directly down this hallway on rampage I wouldn't even hesitate to call murderous." Andilay's eyes widened and her eyebrows rose to an image of worry. "The lady's Yellow? I saw her making a loud fuss at one of the entrances and chose the other one... but... really, you can hear the thing's growls and snarls and scrapings and... it is truly frightening."
Andilay let her body shiver before she looked back into the room, seeming to shrink into herself as she noticed the knife at the neck of the girl. Her eyes widened a bit. "A-are you really gonna h-hurt her?"
Andilay drew a timid fist to her quivering lips as she stared at the would-be kidnapper. A touch of horror creeping into her expression.

Kilzanth positioned himself near one of the entrances to the weyr, calling for other dragons to do the same. He didn't want this scum to get away.
Kil, let Rimith know that we're baracading the entrances and someone is looking for the Weyrwoman right now. Ask her to give you a picture of where Hasima is.
Rimith, we are blocking the entrances. Someone is looking for the Weyrwoman and we are going to help you! Mine can't find where they are. Can you give me a picture so he can find them to help?
