Lunesta is not a female that you would expect, when you first get a look at her. Most people tend to be just a tad bit startled, even a few times after the first meeting. Lunesta is NOT expected, she is not something that most Pernese typically see. Lunesta is very pale, and I'm not talking the typical pale that some Pernese get, I'm talking almost Albino-pale.
Lunesta is often called a ghost, if people see her in the evening time. She doesn't tend to travel around openly in the daytime, for obvious reasons. She is very pale, when it comes to her skin. She has tried to change this, but she does nothing but burn. Just seems to be a defect of her skin. But she makes the most of such things, as well as someone could.
Lunesta is not exactly what you would consider tall, she is of a medium height. Standing at Five feet and about five inches. She's neither tall, nor is she short. She has a slim build. Rather a messengers build, combined with a dancers. She has long well muscled limbs, and makes a habit of running as often as she possibly can. She may lack a lot of womanly charms, but she still does have some. She's not completely without.
Lunesta's got a very delicate look to her, kind of like spun sugar or ice. It just looks so easily broken, that most people just tend to avoid even touching her. She is pretty, to some people. But Lunesta doesn't seem to even notice that she is attractive, in fact due to events in her past, Lunesta seems to think she is VERY unnattractive.
Her eyes are a very pale green coloration, very pale. Almost icy green. This green has a darker ring on the outer edge, and she only on a rare occasion has some problems seeing things really far away from her.
Her hair is very fine, and if cut shorter then her shoulders tends to fluff out around her face. Her hair is straight, and falls to about her mid-back. Usually held back in a runners tail. Most people call her hair white, but in reality it's a really light platinum blond. She knows she's got a rare coloration, and does her best to hide it.
Usually clad in Healer garb, she doesn't step near dresses much. She's got pretty good reasons for it too.
With the proper precautions, and the proper ointments... Lunesta is fully capable of being in a Southern Climate. Just like anyone with fine skin in our day and age. Wear the proper clothing, put on the proper sun protection, and you'll be fine. SHe makes sure to stay out during the heat of the day, unless she has to, and will manage well.
Personality:
Lunesta is very forward with people around her. She's very blunt and to the point when they ask her for advice. She doesn't hold back, but she does have tact... sometimes. She is very honest, when she is blunt. She finds that lying will do you no good, so you should tell the truth the first time.
She can be a very sweet girl, despite her bluntness. She will go out of her way to put a smile on someone's face, though it seems she herself lacks the ability to smile. Getting Lunesta to smile is like pulling teeth, truthfully. She doesn't mind seeing others happy, and doesn't mind working towards others happiness, but her own doesn't matter to her.
She is very much a goal orientated individual. She likes having tasks at all times, and likes accomplishing them in a timely and as close to perfect manner. This goal orientation shows a bit of her perfectionist streak. She will try and tweak a project till it is what she considers to be perfect.
She has a bit of a problem when it comes to being alone with males. She doesn't like it, at all. She will make sure there is always another female when she has to do something. She hates being alone with males, the reasonings behind this become known, if you actually as her.
Lunesta is very leadership orientated. She LIKES leading, more then she does following. But she understands that sometimes to lead, you have to take a lower position, and take orders from someone else. This is something she doesn't mind, but she does make it known that she will only go so far with the work given to her.
She has a bit of a pessimistic and bitter nature towards herself sometimes. She considers herself a bit of a failure at times, no matter how much praise she seems to get. She always thinks that she could have done something better. This is something that she will have to be broken of.
Though she has a pessimistic nature, she is very optimistic towards her patients. She believes that they all deserve a little hope, even if it will fail. She doesn't ever lie to them, but she will try and make things better on them.
She is a very intelligent young woman, and will make her minds workings known. If she has an idea, she will usually talk about it to one of the other healers or someone else. She does her best to keep her mind sharp and is well known for playing a lot of mind related games.

Lunesta wasn't exactly born into the most ideal of situations. Her father was Lord Lunim of a Minor Hold, while her mother was his Mistress a Harper named Sinesta. The result was Lunesta, a very pale child. At first it seemed like it would be a delight to have her around, but it was a seaside hold and you were only worth something if you worked.
It was made obvious within her first turn of age, that Lunesta couldn't be in the sun for long periods of time. She was effectively made worthless for doing anything but watching children, and helping inside the hold. But there was bonuses to her problems. It would make her 'rare' and make her more of a prize to the males that wished to attain her as their partner.
She grew up pretty closed off from a lot of things. The girls she was around all the time made it quite known to Lunesta that she was very unattractive. They did it out of jealousy, but the girl believed them. It was set in her mind from a young age, and her father didn't do anything to change it. Her mother wasn't in her life any longer then Lunesta was six turns old.
She was constantly harassed by the other children in the Hold. It was because she was too different, and she couldn't go out unto the beaches or cliffs to gather things as they did. They would tease her about being the little dolly, that would just be married off and forgotten in a room. Something pretty, nothing worthwhile. She couldn't do anything worthwhile.
Lunesta had to find something to do with herself, and she found she was in the infirmary a lot. So she decided to try and learn a little. It was when she was ten turns old that the healer said she should got to Healer hall to be an apprentice. So she did, with his recommendation, she was taken in as an apprentice.
Training was difficult, but she has a sharp mind, and she was intelligent. She managed to do very well for herself, and got a bit of a title of 'Masters Pet'. She would always do her best to make sure that she did everything the Master told her too.
It was around the time that she was sixteen that she attended a gather, and had a bit of an occurrence. There was a very persistent young male, another apprentice, that had been making her nervous for awhile. At the gather he kept crowding her into corners off alone. She was actually rescued by a rider at one point and time, and hauled off to safety.
It was then that her interest was drawn towards dragons just a little. But she had other things she needed to finish. After that, the other apprentice just seemed to vanish from the healer ranks. She ignored everything else and focused on her task.
Just a few months after she turned Eighteen, she was asked to walk the tables and become a journeyman. She was asked, if there was anywhere in particular that she would like to be stationed. She stated she wanted to try and become a WeyrHealer, so she was sent to Dark Moon Weyr.
