What with a new Hatching coming up, I was heading off to go try to find a name I might like for my dragon. I remembered Hawk posting an excellent site for that a while ago (A while being probably 2 yrs v.v; )) ANYway, I was looking for it in archives when I didn't find it in OoC when it occured to me it might be nice if you (admin) maybe stickied a Links page in OoC?

Maybe it could include the Character/Dragon name generator. That thing with the personalities on it I think Pan posted. It proved to be very helpful by the way. A page on Pern's flora/fauna or traditions for those so inclined too?

Edit: Thinking about it again, General Info might be a better spot, I dunno. Also I found the page that had the link on it for the naming site, I still think it'd be cool to have a page for all the neat links we find.

Lol I thought I had that link somewhere in the general info.
I think we were working on a flora and fauna page because the last one we had was sadly lacking. We will get on that as soon as we finish working on the official dragon colors.

The Links page sounds like a good idea. Maybe we can post one up with a short description of what we find on that site and why it would be useful but instead of members just posting links they can send it to an admin and it could be posted up by an admin so we don't have a thousand replies with just one link on it.

We have a bunch of links in the admin board right now that we've been using to find info for so we'd be able to use some of those.

I can put that link to the rinkworks name generator in the Character Creation help.

I agree
A link board would be ideal
That way people won't have to spend tons of time looking for one link
They can just go to the link boards and quickly find it
It could be a sub board in the general info?

I agree, totally. I was thinking of getting a few links together and suggesting site links - but i never got round to it hmmmmm.

As to the flora and fauna - I do have an old page on my old weyr with all this stuff on it, I can post that in the admin board if people want to adapt it from there, it cold be a handy starting point perhaps?

I don't say another sub board. We already have enough of those. I say a thread would be sufficient.
