Lately it seems that Darkmoon is undergoing some drastic changing. While some of it's good, not all of it is. I remember this weyr was one that was friendly, and had a more relaxed environment. But lately everything seems rushed, and people seem to be left out or left behind (Even without their knowledge.) because they didn't post the day everyone wanted them to.
I can remember when people waited on other people to post, atleast a couple days, before asking the person if they could go ahead without them. And some people seem to have forgotten that people have real lives that tend to get in the way of RPing and having a good time. There should be more understanding and less blowing past them.
Speaking of that word fun, there seems to be a loss of that. Why? The answer, it seems to me, seems to be because everything is so rushed. Rather than take the time to enjoy the threads we have, we rush them to replace them with new ones. Dark Moon was never, in my time of role playing, a fast paced weyr. Dark Moon had something that set it apart from other weyrs and it was always the one weyr I couldn't stray from, while others I could drop easily enough.
But now I'm not so certain about this weyr. I don't like the way things are looking. To put it in comparison. Dark Moon went from quaint country town where everyone knows everyone else expanding to a fast paced city where people are too busy to get to where they're going to enjoy the journey and not care who they push past or bump along the way.
And my observations and opinions are in no way influenced by others. The only thing that influences this is the way I've been looking at things and taking things in.
