[Continuation of Clean-up board]
Sh’ham had been pointed in the right direction by Sh’rel. Akki… a female bluerider. Perhaps it was the bluerider who had done that weird arm waving thing before. There couldn’t be that many female Blueriders, especially in a Weyr as small as Dark Moon. Finally he spotted the rider that Sh’rel had described and it was the very same girl. The greenrider could not keep the grin from his face as he approached this looked like it would be a rather interesting day.
“Morning,” he bowed his head slightly; “You are Akki right? I am Sh’ham of green Kelioth. I do believe we are in the same cleanup group. Q’sin is in our group as well, however I do not know who he is but my brother told me if anyone knows who he is it would be you.”

Sh'ham was definitely the guy who had witness her waving arms. Akki had no luck it seemed with Sh'ham. Maybe he wouldn't remember the fact it was Akki who did it? Then again, she could just admit it was her and play it off as something that all the cool kids were doing nowaday. She hooked her hands behind her head and beamed at Sh'ham. "Yup! I'm Akki of Blue Ebbeth." A greenrider? Now this would be entertaining! There wasn't many greens at Dark Moon it seemed, and also this was a person who also had a dragon with an opposite gender. It would be easy for them to relate to each other.
She shot him a sheepish grin, "And we can, uh, just pretend that you never saw me waving my arms around wildly...right?" She wanted to give a decent first impression, not one that screamed that she was crazy and couldn't control her arms. She leaned in and confided, "I actually don't know who Q'sin is. I think he's a newcomer also." She took a step back, and cupped her hands over her mouth. "Attention Q'sin! You're in our group!" She liked to believe that yelling helped everything.

Sh’ham was glad to have found at least one member in his group. “Great! Now only one more person to find...” He was doing better than Sh’rel was and he lived at the Weyr.
A grin found its way back on Sh’ham’s face when Akki mentioned the arm waving. “I’ll choose to forget the arm waving… as long as you manage to control your arms while we’re cleaning. I don’t want to get smacked if that happens again.”
The greenrider, guessing what Akki was about to do when she cupped her hands over her mouth, managed to cover his ears just in time. “If he didn’t hear that, I don’t know how we’re going to find him.”

"I hope Azvon and Lanka don't have much damage. I won't lie to you Sh'ham, I'm a lazy person at heart." Akki confessed as if it was some deep dark secret. She was lazy, far to boisterous and had a rather bad memory. It was a wonder how she became to be a dragonrider. She grimaced slightly and held up her hands in the air slightly. "I promise nothing. I can't control my arms, so if I accidentally graze you sometime today I can't be held responsible." She liked Sh'ham already though, he seemed to be rather easy going and wasn't all that freaked out by her performance earlier today. She was glad for this, uptight people weren't exactly her preference.
"Sorry." She apologized, referring to the fact she just had yelled at the top of her lungs minutes ago. "I should have given you some warning." She said with a wink. She had to agree with the new greenrider though. If Q'sin didn't hear that, there was no hope for finding him. Akki could yell quite loudly, so if Q'sin was in the general vicinity there was no chance that he could have ignored it.

((not my most fantastic post ... but hey!))
Hearing his name – rather – Chaovith hearing is name barrelled through many, many minds, let his rider know that they were being searched for in the bowl. Ridermine, it is time to be going, it seems to be that we have a duty to some one on the other side of the bowl.[/i] With an audible groan Q’sin halted the task at hand and straightened himself to stand.
Do you know what this is about? And why it specifically needs us? Not at all, Q’sin, however I think it has something to do with the recent hurricane here, and the outer holds.
And sense is made. Q’sin groaned to himself as he tightened Chaovith’s flying straps, filled a riding back with a few things he might need, a couple of lengths of strong rope (though that actually encircled the bag as opposed to went into it) A well crafted knife, and a sizeable amount of cloth (one never knew when a sling might be necessary), then secured his cloak to the back of the straps. He chased into the bag with a skin of wine, and a few food pieces. He paused, looked at his bowl again, and quickly started scoffing a redfruit as he swung up onto the smaller blue. Running a hand through his hair, he looked skywards. Chaovith began to rose, leapt from their ledge, and after a few swift strokes, the pair were air bound.
Soon Chaovith caught the centre of the noise about Q’sin, and came to a craceful landing there. Dismounting, Q’sin approached the pair who stood together.
“I believe it was for me you called? Q’sin of blue Chaovith. G’han’s wing.” He introduced himself, “I apologise for not knowing either of you, I’m a recent transfer from Telgar. And again my apologies for not raising my head sooner, I had to hear it from Chaovith, we were in our weyr, it seems unpacking is a much more difficult task than I had anticipated.” He smiled, trying to make sure that he seemed genuine.

Did this man just say he was from G'han's wing? Since when G'han have a wing? This was news to Akki. She snorted to herself, trying to picture G'han as a leader of the wing. However, she just kept conjuring pictures of him trying to flirt with any female. It was an entertaining image. She returned back to reality, and used her hand to wave Q'sin's apology away. "Don't worry about it. It seems we're all strangers to one and another. We'll just have a three-way introduction party going on." She said with a crooked smile and a shrug. She motioned to herself happily, "I'm Akki of blue Ebbeth. We can have a blue rider party later on." She grimaced at Sh'ham, "Well. Blue rider party with one greenrider. I guess I can't exclude newcomers."
"I'll help you unpack Q'sin. As in I'll rummage through your items, hide them and then make you find them again. Maybe I shouldn't help you." She said almost apologetically, picturing the scene in her mind. She wouldn't be of very much help. She slid her hands to her hips and grinned, "Well. Now that we are all here. Should we clamber onto our dragons and head on out to Azvon? Who's ready for some cleaning? I am! I am!"

Q’sin gave Akki a very quirky look. It was honestly like she’d had her mind replaced by a wherry, but a wherry with all the thought intentions of a human… but scatterbrained. Featherbrained… Something like that anyway. He smiled, he couldn’t help it, her oddness was amusing. Hold on … she was a blue rider? He’d have to query this, surely she was mistaken. But then, how coul she be mistaken? A female blue rider? Now that certainly was an oddity. He would remember to query that later. Certainly so.
“Well Akki, it is very nice to meet you.” His smirk broadened, a smile – teeth and all – bloomed, “Fear not Akki, I’m doing fairly well with the unpacking, and I can find nothing as it is, so I daresay your contorted form of help is quite well accomplished by none other than myself.” He told her in a self mocking way. But he smiled on anyway.
He casually straightened his shirt out, face showing a mild dismay at the dirt that had come to mar the new white over shirt. He thought little more of it as Akki continued to progress the conversation, “Aye, Azvon you say?” He repeated after her, for he knew little of this region, “I’m ready to go when ever you two are ready. Do we know what extent of damage was done to this holding area?” He sounded very old at that time, his age showing to the youthfully assiduous Akki, as his practicality shone through. He felt far to old amongst all of these younsters. He was older physically, but as a rider, he had many, many years on them. His experience aged him even beyond his own years.

She already liked Q’sin, he seemed quite nice especially since he hadn’t given her any weird looks so far. “Fair enough.” She laughed with a crooked grin, “If you ever want to have a scavenger hunt with your stuff, just let me know!” While dragonriders were supposed to be organized and neat, Akki was the complete opposite. She misplaced things easily and wouldn’t find them for a sevenday. It never really bothered her unless she wanted to use the lost item and was forced to spend a fair bit of time searching for it. Ebbeth never helped either, just sat there and gave her a lecture about being more organized.
She drummed fingers across her jaw line, deep in thought. “Azvon is the largest Hold in the South. It has three Halls so I’m assuming that it took on a bit of damage, so more than likely the dragons will pick up the heavier debris as we fix some things up.” She had visited Azvon a fair number of times and was always fascinated by the hustle and bustle of it. The Mine Hall seemed to take over any extra space, filling it up with random knick knacks and crafts. You could always find something interesting there. Akki lifted a hand in the air, finger twitching slightly in a ‘Come here’ gesture.
A flurry of wings could be heard overhead as dragons leapt off ledges to reach their riders, Ebbeth being one of them. The blue glided and landed softly behind Akki, careful to watch out for other riders and dragons so he wouldn’t clip anyone with his wings. The dragon was fully prepared to head out to Azvon, saddled up and everything, just waiting for his rider. Akki walked over to the blue and pulled herself up onto her partner, thumping him slightly with a grin.
“First one into the air, wins.” Akki sniffed with a grin. Ebbeth took off into the air, glad to be off of the ground. It was busy down there with everyone trying to get ready to leave. The air was far less crowded. The blue hovered, waiting for Q’sin and his blue. “Don’t forget to give them the coordinates if they need it.” Akki reminded.

“Morning Q’sin,” Sh’ham said with a grin. He paused while Akki introduced herself to the new bluerider before saying, “I’m Sh’ham of green Kellioth.” He listened on as the two spoke of cleaning Q’sin’s room and Akki’s strange way of helping. He had to admit he despised cleaning his weyr. Every time he cleaned it he felt as if he lost something. This morning it had been easy to find his riding helmet under the pile of clothes at the foot of his bed, right where he left it. Strangely enough he enjoyed cleaning other things, he hadn’t minded washing dishes as a chore as a weyrling and now here was an even bigger task, cleaning up the surrounding holds.
Sh’ham was ready to go. He listened to Akki’s description of the first Hold they were to clean. Nodding he called to Kellioth, Time to go, dear. he chuckled to himself as she complained a bit but she took off from the ledge she had borrowed and landed neatly next to him. Sh’ham pulled himself onto Kellioth and got settled. Could you ask Akki’s Ebbeth for the coordinates?
Certainly, mine. Kellioth replied sweetly. In an even sweeter tone she bespoke Ebbeth, ~Excuse me, my mine and I would like the coordinates to Azvon Hole. Might you help us?~ Sh’ham simply had to shake his head at Kellioth's behavior. She certainly seemed happy to be in the company of the blues, at least that might make her more cooperative when it came to cleaning the Hold.
