G'han listened intently to Christae as the orders were given. So that's who he would be with, eh? Too bad really, because his pretty new greenrider would not be with him. He doubted that would have happened in the first place, but always best to hope. He looked over to Anassa and nodded. "Well, let's go get Hasima and head out. No sense wasting valuable time", G'han straightened himself out and talked as serious as the bronzerider could ever muster. He looked over at the twins for a brief moment. They were with Rhia, she would know what to do with them. After all, she had alot more time to do this with them than him.
He turned his attention back to where Hasima was. He walked toward her in a steady pace. When he was close enough, he spoke to her. "Time to head out, Hasima. We'll be hitting Kalanre hold first", G'han said simply and waited for the rest of his team to be ready.

Anassa nodded and walked with him to where Hasima was. "Looks like we'll be working together." She smiled at her former Weyrling classmate. "Kalanre Hold it is."
The greenrider unhooked her helmet from her pack and put it on as her dragon hovered in the air, waiting for a place to clear for her to land. Seeing that the press would not clear soon, she landed on the outskirts, knowing that her rider would come to her.
"Priath is waiting for me." She told the rest of her teammates and turned to sprint lightly to her dragon's side. She mounted up and the green launched herself to give other dragons room to land. She waited for the other two to get into the air too. Kaith gave coordinates to the dragons and she made sure Priath had it firmly fixed in her mind.

Hasima excused herself from J’kiran after Christae finished speaking and headed towards the middle, looking for the other members of her team. Anassa and G’han? She knew Anassa since they were candidates together, but who was G’han? She vaguely remembered Akki mentioning him here and there but she had never actually met him. Meeting new people made her nervous. She flinched suddenly when someone started to talk to her about Kalanre Hold. She stared at the man with wide eyes, and jerked her head in a quick nod. Ah, so that must be G’han. “Um, yes.” She said quietly, lifting her hand into the air.
Within seconds Rimith landed on the ground, farther away from the crowd of people. Last thing they needed was dragons accidentally landing on people. She gave Anassa a small smile, glad that they at least knew each other. “Same with Rimith.” She said almost apologetically, before making her way to the pale yellow. She clambered on, and quickly (Well, quickly for her) fastened herself in so Rimith could follow Priath into the air. Do you know where we are going?
Of course, I have it memorized.

Gerenanth glided down from his ledge, where he was resting until it was time to work. He landed some distance away where there was enough clearing. Priath, Rimith. I hope all is well with you and yours? Gerenanth rumbled his greeting to both of the dragons.
"Seems like Gerenanth is ready. Let's mount up and make our way to Kalanre hold", G'han spoke to both of them. He secred his riding gear and mounted his dragon. The bronze beast took to the skies and paused momentarily to get his bearings. When the dragon had his route planned, he took off at a regular pace. Gerenanth knew where the hold lay and figured it best to fly there just in case the other two didn't quite recall where to go. At his pace, Priath and Rimith could keep up.

Priath snorted at the high handed way the bronze was acting. She knew this place better than he did. The layouts of the holds had changed a bit while he was away.
Easy Priath, he's a bronze. He will be arrogant.
He will not lord over me today. Anassa sighed. Her dragon was in a testy time. If the greenrider needed any more proof that her dragon was going to rise soon, this was it. She was broody.
We are well. I will meet you at the Hold if that is the route you plan to take. Kaith gave us the coordinates and we used these holds as jumping points since we were Weyrlings. With that, the green vanished *between* appearing over the hold with a rush of cold air. Anassa scanned the sky, waiting for Hasima and G'han to appear with their dragons.
The large Hold was a farm crafthold and most of the crops were flattened. The place was not protected and the hold had taken a beating. It looked like the dragons would be needed in herding the scattered beasts back into their pens once the pens were fixed.

Likewise Gerenanth. My rider and I have heard much about you from Ebbeth's rider.[/b] Rimith replied in her usual polite tone, the yellow most certainly knew her manners.
Hasima noted that the other dragons practically towered over Rimith, especially Gerenanth. She supposed she would have to get used to it, there were very few dragons who would grow to be smaller than the yellow. Hasima didn't mind of course, she liked small. Small was comfortable and reassuring to her. Rimith turned her head to stare at Gerenanth, We will follow Priath, it'll be quicker and we are comfortable with using jumping points. Rimith said before winking Between with her fellow clutch-sister.
"More warning next time." Hasima gasped as they appeared near Priath and Anassa. Hasima would never get used to the cold depth that was Between. She needed to prepare herself for an hour before slipping through it it seemed. She looked over at Anassa and grimaced slightly, to show her distaste of the cold. Both dragon and rider surveyed the Hold, gathering the beasts would be a relatively easy job for the dragons. Rebuilding the pen would be tricky, Hasima was clumsy and slow. Hopefully Anassa and G'han had enough patience for her.

G'han could feel the bronze's irritation as the two dragons left. Chill out Gerenanth, let them go. G'han looked at the world below him. He hadn't intended to make the jump just yet. Part of him was curious to see how the rest of the world was affected by the hurricane. Of course he gave in to this part.
Gerenanth felt like he was played for a fool, however. As curtious as he was, and that was the response. He snorted again, but he saw why his rider wasn't so eager to go /between/ just yet. Are you satisfied yet? G'han seemed to snap back to reality at Gerenanth's prodding. Oh! Yes, I suppose. I've seen enough. Let's do it.
Gerenanth popped from /between/ and his rider looked down at the land before him. Looks like we've got our work cut out for us. G'han kept the thought between himself and Gerenanth "Well, let's make a landing somewhere and find out what all is planned for us", he decided to say aloud. Whether or not the others could hear him, G'han hadn't really noticed, but it was just as much a command to Gerenanth. The bronze landed in a clearing just outside the hold and G'han dismounted.

Anassa nodded, sharing Hasima's sentiments. She waited to land until Gerenanth appeared. and then spiraled down, taking her time to give her rider more time to study the scene before her. There was a flury of activity below. The Holders were already working on cleaning the debris and rebuilding their homes. There were shouts when the dragons appeared and Anassa hoped they were shouts of relief. Not everyone liked the dragonriders.
Priath, tell G'han and Hasima to tread carefully. Christae mentioned that she's been having trouble getting tithes from the holds and not all are friendly. Her Harper training was not just in music, but in diplomacy as well. All Harpers had to be diplomats if they traveled.

Rimith followed the other two dragons, slowly spiralling down so Hasima could join in and take note of everything that was destroyed. The hurricane was bad, as hurricanes normally were. Wood and other debris seemed to be littered everywhere as people quickly ran around, searching for anything that survived the storm. The small yellow hit the ground, sending up a flurry of dust and sand which Hasima waved out of her face. The shy girl slowly slid off of her dragons back and felt her feet hit the ground.
Priath just warned us to be careful of what we say. There seems to be some sort of rivalry between some of the holds and Dark Moon Weyr. We must remember to use our manners and not do anything they may displease the Lord and Lady Holder. Rimith relayed softly to Hasima, the dragon turning her yellow head so she could stare at her rider with whirling green eyes. The last thing they needed was to make the situation even worse and give dragonriders a bad name. Hasima nodded to show that she understood and silently took note to remember to get Rimith to tell Akki the same thing. Hasima rubbed Rimith's head slowly, wondering if someone from the Hold would come to see them and tell them what needed to be done.

Get all that? Gerenanth finally asked, after relaying the message. G'han noted the slight irritation coming from the bronze. He could be such a hassle sometimes. Yeah, yeah. G'han mentally shrugged off to his bonded. Sometimes G'han was a bit too nonchalant for the bronze, this was one of those times. Eh? What's your problem? G'han asked, noting what he said didn't set well with Gerenanth. G'han shook his head. Listen, Anassa's got harper training right? Why don't we let her be the spokesperson of the group. I have no knack for diplomacy and I tend to say the wrong things. I think she's the best one suited to do any sort of talking.
Gerenanth snorted, ready to retaliate with something but G'han stopped him short. Ask Rimith and Priath if they mind if Anassa would be the one to speak to the Lord and Lady Holder. Tell them it's just my idea, however, and that I would like to hear a better one if they have it. Oh, and do ask nicely. G'han was sure to tack that last bit on the end just for emphasis. Gerenanth relayed the message in curtious fashion.
