The brownrider ran a hand through his unruly shock of red hair, his hazel eyes thoughtful. He had absolutely no idea who his teammates were. He was new to the Weyr, arrived today, in fact, after he had heard about the Hurricane. He had been playing with the idea of where to transfer, there were a few Weyrs who had opened their doors to the now homeless Eteii riders but he hadn't been sure where he wanted to go until the news of the Hurricane had reached him and the call for help that had come from small Dark Moon Weyr. He figured that it would be very similar to Eteii and with the clean up he could take his mind off the loss of his fellow riders, including his Weyrmate.
Danaeth still had a greyish cast to his russet brown hide from the loss of his fellow dragons. So many had died at once that he thought the brown would fade. He was slowly recovering, but both rider and dragon would remain haunted by the loss for a while to come.
His dragon communicated the fact that he had taken the initiative of requesting the coordinates from the Queen and he had received them. Good Danaeth.
Shall we wait to see who is in our team or should I ask the Queen?
It's a bit crowded to try taking off right now anyway. We can wait for a bit and see who is left.

V'ian made his way through the crowd, carefully not to elbow anyone or step on their toes. It seemed like a daunting task, to find people that he didn't know. He knew their names, which was a plus, but he didn't no what dragons they rode. He squeezed past two candidates who were making their way and stumbled in front of a man with rather bright red hair. "Are you Sh'rel?" V'ian asked, eyeing the man before him. "Or even T'ren? Because I'm V'ian and I quite frankly don't know who the people in my group are." He sniffed with a sheepish grin.
He truly hoped that he had found the right person this time. He asked another guy if they were Sh'rel or T'ren and it turned out they were a candidate! It was slightly embarrassing and he was hoping he didn't get himself into another awkward situation like that again. "And if you're not them, do you know who they are?" He asked with a laugh, looking around to see if anyone was holding up a sign that yelled 'Team A' on it.
This would have been easier if you stopped flirting with the females and met more people. Waeith pointed out with amusement, only to be reminded that he was flirting with some greens also.

T'ren turned when the man stumbled in front of him, his brownrider knots now visible. "I'm T'ren. Rider of brown Danaeth." When V'ian said his name, T'ren breathed a sigh of relief.
"Well I guess I know one of my team mates now. All we need to do is find Sh'rel now and we can get to work. I just transferred here today."

Rolaranth sat on his ledge watching his rider weave around people in the Weyrbowl, it was quite amusing.
If only we knew their dragon’s names, this would be so much easier Sh’rel said trying to ignore the amusement emanating from Rolaranth.
I agree. However, I see two riders that could be the ones in your group.
How do you know?
I don’t but there’s only two of them. They appear like they’re in a group together and since they’re missing a person it could be you.
Sh’rel shrugged it was worth a shot and if not he could ask the pair if they knew where or who V’ian or T’ren were. He walked over just as T’ren said that they needed to find him. “No need, I’m Sh’rel of brown Rolaranth.” T’ren had just transferred that’s why he didn’t know the rider’s name. “Welcome to Dark Moon T’ren.” He turned to the other rider, “I assume you’re V’ian? If that's the case we can get going, and maybe get finished early.”

"You're new here? So am I!" V'ian exclaimed happily, noting that there seemed to be a fair number of new people here today. Most of them seemed to be transfers though, he was just visiting for the time being. He was about to ask where T'ren came from beforehand but then Sh'rel appeared, the third and final member of their group.
"Yes, V'ian of Bronze Waeith." He nodded, introducing himself and his dragon properly this time. Two browns and a bronze? This team was clearly made up of manpower and would hopefully get things done quickly. "I'm all for finishing up early." He admitted with a grin, lifting his hand so Waeith could see the signal to land. The large bronze excused himself from the conversation he was having with Priath and neatly leapt from the ledge and landed behind Team A. "To Caspian Hold, right?" V'ian asked for clarification as he pulled himself onto Waeith.

T'ren nodded a greeting. "Nice to meet you Sh'rel. I'm T'ren of brown Danaeth. Thanks for the welcome. I transferred here from Eteii Weyr today." A shadow crossed the youthful brownrider's face, making him look far older than his 19 Turns but he shook it off.
"You're right Sh'rel, the sooner we start, the sooner we finish, and I' wouldn't mind finishing early either V'ian." Danaeth was already waiting in the bowl. The pair hadn't even seen their new weyr yet. Their belongings had been taken by a helpful drudge to be placed in their weyr and T'ren didn't even know which one it was.
The brownrider covered his unruly shock of red hair with his riding helmet, feeling the sweat trickling down under his riding jacket already. He hadn't taken it off yet. He figured that the Weyrwoman would have spoken sooner, but she had let her riders visit for a while before she called them to order, probably because of the constant new arrivals.
"Anyone got the coordinates? Danaeth and I aren't familiar with this part of the Southern Continent. Eteii was a good distance away."

Rolaranth leapt from his ledge down to the Weyrbowl. “Nice to meet you both,” Sh’rel said as he tugged on his rider jacket. He thought he noticed a change in T’ren’s face but within a moment it was gone so Sh’rel could not be sure. Sh’rel, like V’ian, also noted their group, two Brownriders and a Bronzerider. Had Caspian and Hatra Hold received the most damage? Is that why this trio had been formed?
Sh’rel glanced to V’ian when he spoke, “Yeah, we’ll go to Caspian Hold first.” The Brownrider quickly made his way onto Rolaranth’s back, and then pulled on his riding helmet. “We have the coordinates,” Sh’rel said before bespeaking Rolaranth. The brown dragon was already in the process of showing the bronze and the other brown dragon the coordinates.

"Excuse me", a voice spoke out to the three riders. The voice seemed a soft, but yet still had that tone of authority in it that any leader would have. "I couldn't help but overhear you fine gentlemen say you were going to Caspian Hold", the voice continued. "My name is Bynor, Lord Holder of Caspian Hold. If one of you gentlemen wouldn't mind giving me a ride back to Caspian, it would be greatly appreciated", the voice revealed himself to be none other than Bynor.
The Lord Holder had attended the Hatching and had the misfortune of being caught up in the hurricane. With so much damage that was done, it wasn't until now that Bynor had a clear chance of making his way back to Caspian. If these three were to be the team going to his hold, it was best he be there to assess the damage and see what needed to be done.

It seemed that V’ian didn’t have to wait until later on to see where T’ren was from. The brownrider was from Eteii Weyr, a place where V’ian was willing to admit he rarely visited and didn’t know much about. He noticed that shadow flicker across the man’s face but it disappeared rather quickly that V’ian had to wonder if he simply managed it. “I have a general idea as to where it is, but I doubt it will help very much.” The bronzerider admitted with a lopsided grin.
I have received the coordinates Waeith somberly informed V’ian who nodded a silent thanks to Sh’rel, glad that someone had them.
He followed Sh’rel’s lead and slipped the riding helmet onto his head, and strapped himself in. V’ian was about to give Waeith the signal to fly upwards but a stranger’s voice stopped him. The Lord Holder? The poor man, V’ian couldn’t help but think. Bynor had been stuck here since the hurricane which probably meant he didn’t even know the damage that Caspian had taken. “I’d be honored to have the Lord Holder of Caspian riding with me.” V’ian offered, hoping that the other two didn’t mind. He didn’t want to appear to be the pushy and arrogant bronzerider that just appeared.
I expect you to have perfect manners. Waeith warned to his rider, fully aware of the importance that Bynor held as a Lord Holder.
I like to think that I am always well-mannered. At least, I hope I am.
