Anassa's mouth quirked into a smile. "Akki always manages to get in some form of trouble or another. Luckily it doesn't seem to be contagious, otherwise the entire batch of Candidates for this Hatching will be nothing but degenerates."
"Oh and just to warn you, Rehan and Giana are already taking after Akki. I can't count how many times Rhia has had to find her riding helmet, boots and other things she needs because Rehan and Giana decided to hide them. It wasn't too bad before they found the stairs leading out of her weyr but now that they have they hide her things all over the weyr. If a drudge finds something out of place they usually send it up to Rhia's weyr because it is usually the twins hiding it. One time they managed to get her medical kit. I think they used teamwork for that one because her bag is heavy. They hid it in the kitchens where no one really goes. Rhia was furious. She couldn't find that kit for days. Finally someone went for some reason or another and came across Rhia's bag. The kids thought it was the funniest thing."

G'han laughed a bit and nodded at the story. Apparently his twins had grown up quite a bit and hit a certain stage, as he was about to speak on. "I guess it's just a phase they're going through. Heh. Poor Rhia, though. Sounds like she's having a hard time with these little tykes", he commented to Annassa.
G'han sighed a bit to himself. He wondered if he'd be the next target of his kids' antics. Considering he would spend some time with them. As much as he could. "Well. If anything goes missing while I unload, I'll know who to blame", G'han remarked as he chuckled and headed towards his weyr.
(OOC: We could just transfer this to another thread from here. In G'han's weyr. If you want, Hawk.)

OOc: I think it would be a waste of space to transfer it here. We both know its in a new place.
IC:
"She has her hands full with the Candidates and Weyrlings and the twins as well but she manages. Everyone in the Weyr helps her out with them, just as everyone helps out with Chiron."
Anassa chuckled. "We won't have to look far." She agreed. She scooped up Giana from Akki when the bluerider got called away and took Chiron's hand. Priath walked after them as she followed the bronzerider to his new weyr. The pretty green looked awkward walking on the ground but she didn't care, she just wanted to stay with the children.

G'han nodded and turned to lead the way to his weyr. During the journey there, G'han stayed relatively quiet. There was almost a nastalgic feel to his silence as he thought to himself. He couldn't help but smile a bit. The last time he had a weyr here, he shared it with someone. Someone he thought was rather special to him and he had developed quite a bond with. There were scratches and bruises along their journey, but they had always seemed to make it through.
G'han couldn't help a physical response as he shook his head. Perhaps it was just simply time and the way of things that caused them to grow apart. Then when G'han transferred, he became less attatched, any weyrmate he had was from a flight that he had won. There wasn't really any other relationship beyond Rhia. But that was now in the past, and he was a different person back then. It was very likely he was not looking to rekindle an old flame. He certainly had no plans for it. Though G'han had more of an attitude that allowed him to simply go with the flow of things. If something happened, then it happened.
Thoughts aside now, G'han finally made it to his weyr. As he made his way in, he took a sack that had been cast over his shoulder and dropped it on the ground near the wall. G'han looked around with a small smile as his bronze made his way to his ledge. It did seem rather empty, comparatively. But then again, he hadn't even begun to move into it and it was just him and Gerenanth that would be staying here.
He turned around to Anassa, who had been following him. "Thank you again for your help", he said as he nodded then turned to walk further into his weyr, to start unloading and unpacking. Perhaps after his weyr was a bit more homely, he would go get something to eat. He certainly could use a bite to eat after such a journey.

"This is a pretty nice-sized Weyr. Mine is a good bit smaller but then again Priath is a good bit smaller than Gerenanth." A shimmering blue flit popped from *between* chittering.
"Hush Aquas." She scolded. He was sending images of different parts of the weyr and she realized that he had been looking all over for her. Giana reached for him and Chiron tugged to free his hand.
"Wanna plore." She let him go.
"Want to go down Gi?"
"Want fitt." The toddler reached for Aquas again. Anassa held her hand out and the greenish- blue flitt landed on her arm. She moved her arm so that Giana could touch the soft hide of the little flitt.
"You still need help with them? I don't mind keeping them occupied while you unpack."

G'han had started unloading and opening various sacks and what not before looking up at Anassa as she proposed watching his kids. He thought for a moment as he glanced between them and saw Giana going for the blue flitt.
"I think that would be best", G'han said with a smile as he began unpacking. "You seem to do well with them. I take it you've handled them a few times?", G'han posed the question loud enough in conversation as he walked around putting things in order. He could see how not having someone to occupy the tykes time could cause some trouble and would just take him that much longer to get settled in. Though G'han didn't intend to spend the whole day putting his weyr into just the right order. There would be plenty of time for that. Right now he just needed to get out the essentials and have them in place.

"Thanks. I think most of us have had a chance to look after them at one time or another. I'm Weyrbound until Priath rises and there are only so many things I can do so I often go help the drudges out by taking them for walks and such. The Weyrlings who just graduated haven't been placed in official wings yet so we are kind of at loose ends until the Weyrleader gets around to that. Not to mention I have a few younger siblings back at home. I had a good bit of practice before I went off to the Harper Hall."
"So what made you decide to come back if you don't mind my asking." She had never heard anything bad about the bronzerider but she had always wondered why the father of Rhia's twins was not in the picture. Since the brownrider always took her dragon away from flights, she knew that wouldn't have been the cause of the twins' conception. Weyr gossips speculated on why he had left in the first place. Rhia hadn't seemed too concerned but then again no one knew what the brownrider was thinking. She was always busy with her classes.

G'han smiled and laughed as he walked across the weyr to put something in it's place. "Sounds like you've had plenty of time and practice then. I bet Rhia appreciates the help", G'han responded. She certainly seemed more qualified than himself to watch over the little ones. G'han certainly hadn't had the time. He wasn't raised around little ones and he left not much longer after the twins were born.
Then her question hit G'han. Why did he return? The better question was probably "why did he leave in the first place?". "I got word this place could use some more dragonriders. So I was allowed to transfer back. Who better a transfer than someone who knows the place, right?", G'han explained with a slight chuckle. But perhaps there was more to it, infact there was. G'han recognized Darkmoon as his true home, it wasn't easily replaced. There were connections here that he couldn't cut if he tried. "So enough about me", G'han was quickly changing the subject. "How'd you end up here? I don't seem to recall you around last time I was here", G'han asked his own question, trying to get to know this person better. AFter all, she had offered her help and had been gracious since the start.

"Rhia and Christae have no lack of willing hands to take the kids. They can be a handful at times but they are so cute they just smile and get out of trouble." She hoisted Giana higher up on her hip. Rehan was busy poking into corners.
"I guess not." she chuckled. "I'm the daughter of a small stakes Holder in Southern Ista. I was sent to the Harper Hall after the Harper that traveled around to the small holds said I would do better with more training. I loved music and Ma and Da were at loose ends about what to do with me anyway. Most of my siblinngs either went off to various crafts or stayed to farm at the hold. Da has some pretty good herdbeasts as well. Ma used to be the younger daughter of a Sea Holder until Da caught her eye and married her. I was one of the middle children. I went to the Harper Hall and was about to walk the tables to be a journeyman when the dragon came to the Harper Hall with a message that the Queen of Dark Moon had flown and the Weyr desperately needed Candidates. I was the only one they took away. I can tell you a lot of my former classmates were green with envy."

"I bet so. Quite a number of people see it as an honor to have a chance at becoming a dragonrider. Makes sense they'd be envious. I bet your rather happy yourself about it", G'han replied, the last part an obvious hunch on his part.
Deciding he was done putting the essentials away, he would put off putting anything else away later. "So you say Rhia is busy? I guess I'll have to catch up with her some other time", G'han posed as he walked back to Annassa. "In the mean time. It's been quite a journey and I wouldn't mind some food. Care to join me?", G'han offered in a friendly manner.

"I was excited. It was the best day of my life when Priath came tumbling out of that shell!" She smiled at the green dragon that had winged up to the ledge.
"Last I heard Rhia took a bunch of Candidates out of the Weyr on a field trip to gather herbs and learn wilderness survival and all that fun stuff. She said she should be back in a couple of days and they left a couple of days ago. She should be back soon."
She glanced at the sun. "It's not quite lunch yet but I guess you are used to the time in the weyr you came from. I skipped breakfast though so I would love to join you. The kids are always hungry so they will enjoy a snack."

G'han nodded, remembering his own impression. That day, that night, was quite unique. He was a different person as much as Gerenanth was a different dragon. He simply smiled at the old memory and shook his head.
"Then I suppose I'll see her soon. I'm sure she'll want to check up on the little ones when she returns", G'han assumed and shrugged his shoulders showing it was only an assumption of his but one that did make sense to him.
G'han nodded to her. "Then lunch it is", he said with a pleasant smile. He then turned to face Rehan who wasn't attatched to a person like Giana was. "Rehan, we're going to get something to eat. Why don't you join us?", G'han asked calmly and as sweetly as possible as he knelt down to the tykes level.
