Everyone knew that the poor brown flitt really didn't stand a chance. No one would really consider him competition anyways, he was too slow and all the bronzes seemed to be whipping by him without a second thought. He crooned softly, almost like a whining noise because he had finally begun to realize that he lost as soon as he participated in the flight. He had just managed to stumble out of the trees branches, much farther behind than anyone else but already spotted the golden flitt near the lake. It was impossible for him to reach her, especially when he was dead last like he was. He uselessly and stubbornly flapped his wings, trying to catch but failing rather miserably as it seemed he had already reached his limit. And he was just about to convince himself that he could really win this thing (Which he couldn't) if he fully tried right now. Of course, it was pointless because at this moment Birinj seemed to have almost collided with the Queen as she wrapped himself around him. The brown watching for a second, crestfallen before returning back to the rock he was sunning on before. Who needed a Queen when they could spend their time laying in the sun anyways?

Birinj bugled in exultation as his Queen backwinged and collided with him. He twined his body with hers as she twined with him and flapped his wings to bring them slightly higher so that they could ride the thermals to make their flight last longer. He crooned sweet nothings in her ear as they flew together.
OOC: WHOOT! LOL Thanks!

The young Bronze watched the whole ungraceful event unfold, creeling in worry when Roksha had to back wing. He attempted to make himself available to her but it was too late... He hovered, looking down at the lake where the Brown had now smartly retreated. He hung his head, making a graceful one-eighty turn while diving downward, hitting the water beneath him hard. He swam around the depths in shame, taking to heart that he'd do the smart thing next time and simply /between/ to shield himself from any impending feelings. When he broke the water's surface he looked everywhere but to the sky, eyeing the Brown dragonet warily. He flew over to the rock that the Brown was sunning up on and perched himself there. Since he'd lost the Flight and didn't plan on going solo he might as well do his best to make a friend!
