Akki sat in the kitchen, hands gently wrapped around a cup of klah as she swung her legs gently. To her it felt like the Weyr was dead, she hadn't seen too many since she greeted some newcomers with Hasima, but that felt like so long ago despite the fact it was only a few days ago. The feast seemed as if it had happened turns and turns ago, the gossip of how the fight started had finally died down. She let a hand drop on the table she was sitting at, fingernails clicking against the hard surface as she tapped them to an imaginary beat.
Maybe it wasn't the Weyr that had died, but perhaps a part of her she realized with a slight frown. Hasima had tried to get Akki to leave her Weyr but politely gave up when she realized she couldn't get the girl to move. It wasn't that the blue rider was moody or anything, more like confused. She hadn't seen R'xis since the day of the feast where he ran away from him, leaving her feeling absolutely wretched. She wasn't sure if the boy hated her or not, and his absence made her think that maybe he did hate her. Sargon wrapped his green tail gently around Akki's neck, chirping almost sorrowfully.
"Maybe if enough people wander down here, we can try to convince Uslanee to lend us the kitchen for awhile. I'm sure one of us knows how to cook." She said with a small smile, liking the idea of her, some weyrlings and candidates all in the kitchens chatting away as they made up their own recipes. Then again, Christae probably wouldn't want them making a mess of the kitchens. Still, it was a nice thought. Even having one person come down here to talk too would be nice actually, it'd make her stop thinking about everything for a bit maybe.
She turned her attention to the doorway, wishing that someone would randomly appear before her with plans to take over the Weyr, or something exciting like that.
Ooc|| YES, I KNOW. Horrid post and stuff c: But I figured we needed a new board x)

OOC: I’ll post, if that’s alright with you. *writes a post anyways before you can refuse* >D
IC:
Over the past few days, Riler had been familiarizing himself with his new home. So far, he was rather pleased with how things were turning out. He had made a few friends in the first few days, which was an immense relief. The people in the Weyr were very friendly, energetic and understanding. Though people weren’t unfriendly back home, the people here in the Weyr had a completely different mannerism. At first it had taken him off guard, but he had begun adjusting to it as best as he could.
Today, Riler woke up to find that he had no chores to do that day. Quite pleased, he decided to continue his ventures around the Weyr. He hadn’t had the most time to wander around, but whenever he had the opportunity to do so, he had been taking advantage of the time to do so. Waking up late, he had missed his breakfast meal. However, one of the first places that he learned of was how to get to was the kitchen. He knew that he could get some food and maybe a cup of klah. So, as soon as he was dressed, he departed from the Candidates Barracks and made his way to the kitchens.
Upon entering the kitchen, he quickly noticed that someone across the kitchen was staring attentively at the doorway. Peering, he concluded that the person was Akki, one of the people who greeted him on his first day at the Weyr. She appeared to be rather bored, so he decided to do his duty to try and liven her day. Bouncing over to her, he greeted her in a cheerful voice. “Hiya, Akki! G’morning to ya.” He smiled warmly, eyes glimpsing the green fire lizard wrapped around her neck. He grinned, asking, “How are you on this fine day?”

Ooc| I have this great urge to be all: OMG EYE WIL NUT LET U POST ERE. x)
Akki could hear the soft footsteps approaching the doorway, and was waiting almost anxiously to see who it was to pop around the corner. If it was a drudge, maybe Akki could talk them into sitting down with her for a bit so they could just chatter away like old ladies. Her foot jostled back and forth as she waited for a head to appear in the doorway.
And finally, the head appeared. "Riler!" Akki said happily, glad that it was the boy she had met earlier on. Surely he would be more interesting than talking to someone she hardly knew, right? A grin broke across her face as he greeted her and Sargon cherped happily as his own greeting. She frowned slightly as she replied. "I'm positively bored Riler. I've been sitting here just waiting for something to happen. I tried to convince Ebbeth to help me ransack something, but the brute rather sun himself. You're not busy are you? You won't mind if I forced you to do something with me?".
She waited for a second, blinking after she threw questions at the boy. Remembering her manners she rested her chin on her hands and asked him merrily, "And what about you're day? Anything exciting happen?". She snapped her fingers as a perfect question came to her mind, "And what do you think about Dark Moon? You're not bored of it already, are you?"

OOC: *whines* Nuuuuuuuuuuuu! D= All my hard work would’ve been for nothing….. Me, working hard. * gigglesnort* More like hardly working. ;D
IC:
As she began speaking, Riler poured himself a cup of klah from a pot sitting next to a few mugs. He sat down on a stool next to Akki as she paused for him to speak. He smirked as she told him, like he had suspected, she was bored. He snorted with amusement at her first question, replying with, “I’m not busy at all, just hungry.” His stomach picked the opportune moment to rumble at that exact moment, causing him to smirk. “And you don’t need to force me into amusing you. I’d be happy to help.” He smiled cheerfully, taking another long sip from his mug.
Akki then proceeded to attack him with another onslaught of questions, of which he was glad to answer. “I haven’t been awake long enough for anything exciting to happen. I just woke up in the past hour.” At the mention of what he thought of Dark Moon, his face lit up. “It’s very exciting; much more entertaining than home.” He nodded enthusiastically, head bobbling up and down. “No, I’m not bored of Dark Moon.” He paused for a moment, eyes drifting to the ceiling as he pondered how long it would take until he became bored of it, like Akki was. “Not yet.” His eyes darted back to her. “So what did you have in mind when you said you wanted to do something?” Even though he had only met her a few days ago, Riler could tell Akki was pretty unique; in a very good way. He could only guess that what she had in mind, if she had anything in mind, would be something he would have never guessed. He wasn’t sure whether that fact should frighten him or not.

Ooc|| xD My mom is always: WORKING HARD, OR HARDLY WORKING? Psssh, like I'll be working hard on summer vacation ;c
Akki watched as he poured himself a cup of klah and sat down beside her. She was really rather glad she had gotten to know most of the candidates, it was always fun to have someone to talk too when the day got boring. It was nice to be able to walk around the Weyr, and be able to wave to someone you knew. Akki sipped at her klah, "I bet you're hungry. I can hear it from here. I'll make you a deal. If you promise not to bite me in hunger or something, I'll help you get some food. Deal?".
Akki clucked her tongue and waggled her finger in front of the boy, "You do realize if you sleep in that late again I'll feel obliged to come wake you up personally, which I'm sure you wouldn't want.". Akki grinned widely. "Dark Moon tends to have a different atmosphere than other places, it's not huge so you are able to know quite a few people that are walking around the Weyr. It's like a giant family here, except without the rivalry.". She paused for a moment, reflecting on some of the events that had occured while at Dark Moon. "Well, not too much rivalry anyways.".
"Hmmm." She said, a small frown pulling at her lips. She gathered her blonde hair with her hands and pulled it into a runner tail, as if the fact her hair was out of her face would help her think better. Letting her hair drop and settle around her face, snapped her fingers once again. "First thing first, let's get you some food before you eat me or Sargon.". Upon hearing his name, the small flitt lifted his head slightly and cherped gleefully.

OOC: I’ve done nothing all summer vacation. I feel quite lazy. :3
IC:
As Akki laid down the terms of their ‘deal’, Riler forced a sigh. “Fine.” He blew the hair out of his eyes, trying to look as disappointed as possible. “I promise not to munch on your fingers.” He then added in a much quieter voice, “For now.” A smile tugged on the corners of his lips as she threatened to wake him up herself next time. He wasn’t sure if she was being serious or not, but he was sure he didn’t want to find out. Mockingly, he replied, “Yes ma’am.”
“And yeah, I’ve noticed the atmosphere, a bit. The people here are a lot closer than I’m used to, which I find to be very comforting.” And it was true, the people here were more friendly and comforting and kind. Then again, he hadn’t done anything to get into trouble yet. He wasn’t sure how much their kindness went. As she paused to mention there was rivalry, Riler got the feeling that she was being nostalgic. Curiosity struck him, pushing Riler to ask about it. So he casually asked, “How much rivalry is there in here? Anyone I should be worried about?” He winked, hoping to cover his curiosity with charm.
As she offered to help get him food, he felt compelled to say, “Hey, not eating Sargon wasn’t a part of our bargain. Seems like fair game to me.” He winked again, playfully, a smirk gliding over his lips. “But yes, food does seem like my top priority at the moment.”

Ooc|| I've um. um. :c Done nothing. BUT HEY. I'm going to a baseball game today, give me credit. I have like five hundred extra tickets too. YOU'RE ALL INVITED.
"Excellent." Akki said, leaning back comfortably. "I'm rather fond of my fingers, they allow me to do things. Like flick people, snap and tug on their ears until they do what I want. It's very conveinant." She explained, looking at her fingers with a fake fond-looking smile plastered on her face. She heard the 'For now' part and as her reply, maturely stuck her tongue out at the boy.
"Aren't they? It's awkward when you're having a bad day though, because everyone talks to you and you have to stop yourself from biting them in order to make them go away." Akki said, before staring Riler in the eye. "I don't suggest biting them though, alot of people here can bite harder than you would think.". She straightened with a grin, not clarifying whether or not she was joking. She frowned slightly, "Maybe rivalry is the wrong word to use.".
"It wasn't that bad, just verbal fights between two people both too haughty to admit they were wrong. It's not by now however. We chopped off some girls hair, made it really short because she did it to someone else. There were a couple of fights. But nothing like that really goes on anymore. I can't imagine anyone I know picking a fight with someone else.". "Unless you're jumping on someone's back, provoking them to hit you, I'd say you're pretty much safe. Just don't talk to me on a bad day, or I'll bite." She said, casting a wink at the candidate.
Akki gave a look of shock as a gasp came out of her mouth. "Cover your ears Sargon. Don't listen to him. If Riler comes near you with his teeth showing, I give you permission to smack him a few times.". Placing her hands gently around the flitts head she told Riler secretly, "He wouldn't taste very good. Trust me.". "Next time we see a drudge, scream. I'll get up and jump them and won't let go until they bring you some food.".

OOC: YAY BASEBALL! I went out a comple days ago. << Now I have a bloody scar under my lip. ;o; That’s why I don’t go outside. xD
IC:
Riler stared at Akki with curiosity as she began to examine her hands, explaining her many uses with them. Most of these uses, Riler was not fond of. When she stuck her tongue out at him, Riler returned the favor and did the same, jutting his tongue out at her. As she explained the annoyances of the closeness of the Weyr, Riler smirked as she joked about biting them. However, his smirk was quickly whipped off his face as she looked him in the eye, looking rather serious. He wasn't sure whether she was joking or not, now. If she was joking, it wasn't that funny of a joke. If she wasn't joking, then one might wonder why she would know that other people bite hard. Riler blinked a few times, keeping these thoughts concealed.
Riler listened silently as she listed a few small details of incidents that occurred in the Weyr. But when Akki mentioned that they don't happen anymore, he assumed that those incidents happened a while ago. This was a small relief. And yet again, she mentioned biting. "What's with you and wanting to bite people?" He wagged his finger at her. "Biting people doesn't seem like a good idea. But don't worry, if I see you're having a bad day, I'll run in the other direction."
He smirked as she consoled her flitt. "I'm curious, how would you know he tastes bad?" An amused look spread across his face as she told him how he'd get his food. "As you wish." Look down into his mug, he noticed that there was only a little left. He drained the rest, slamming the mug onto the table as he licked his lips. "Klah always helps me wake up in the morning." He nodded glumly as he began to look around for a drudge to shout at. True, he assumed that Akki didn't actually intend for him to shout at the drudge, but that wouldn't stop him from having a bit of fun. So when a drudge entered through the doorway, Riler leapt from his stool, shouting and laughing in triumph. "Aha! A drudge! Sick 'em, Akki!"

Ooc|| xD Sounds like you had an exciting trip outside. The baseball game failed xD The only exciting part was when the umpire got hit in the face with the baseball. It started to pour shortly after that making me leave early :c
Akki snorted with amusement as Riler returned the gesture, sticking his tongue out at her. "I love how fantastically mature we are Riler." She sighed with a large grin. Akki watched Riler's reactions as he listened to her biting tale, and tried to smother a grin. She didn't think people really went around Dark Moon, snapping at one and another. Then again, Akki thought that J'kel tried to take a bite at her one day. But maybe she was wrong. And she probably deserved it if he did.
"What's with you and not biting people?" Akki sniffed at Riler, making it sound like he was the only person who didn't go around biting people. "Besides, everyone normally expects 'Oh, you keep doing that and my fist will come your way.' but no one really expects a threat, even a fake one of course, that would involve biting.". Akki straightened with a wink "Sounds like a deal, but make sure I don't see you. I don't think me watching you ran away will cheer me up too much."
"I got hungry one night." Akki said with a shrug, and she said this without a hint of a smile even though it was obvious she was lying. She didn't think Sargon would appreciate it to find her gnawing his tail in the night. "More sleep would wake me up." She said as she yawned loudly. Akki wasn't really paying attention, didn't see the drudge walk into the room, so when Riler started to shout it happened to startle her a bit.
Jumping out from her seat, whether to jump the drudge or just from being scared at Riler's yelling, Akki's feet got tangled up with one and another causing her to careel forwards and to land on the ground. Sargon, giving a screech of surprise, wrenched himself off of the girls shoulders not wanting to go down with her and landed on Riler. Akki shook her head as she laid on the ground, "I think I just swallowed some of my hair. Do I have any bald spots?".
The drudge, who now stopped to see if the clumsy rider happened to be okay offered her hand to Akki who gratefully took it. "Thanks." She said with a sheepish grin as she brushed dirt off of her clothes. "Sorry for making a mess." She said, looking at the now fallen over chair before setting it upright. "If it's not much of a bother, could you tell me if there's any snacks to munch on? I can go get them myself, I don't want to be a bother.".
The drudge kindly declined Akki's offer to get the food herself, saying she would do it. Of course the reason behind this was because Akki had just fallen over from standing up, and the the damage she could do in the kitchens was unimaginable. As the drudge went off to get food for Riler and the blue rider, Akki slid back in the chair. "You scared me when you shouted. I didn't think you'd actually do it!" Akki said with a giggle. Soon a small plate of meat rolls and sweet rolls were set before them, before the drudge whisked away to finish her duties. "Thank you!" Akki called out, picking up a piece of food from the plate.

OOC: *patpat* There’ll be other games.
IC:
He smirked as Akki commented on their maturity. “Oh yes, very mature,” his tone filled with sarcastic amusement. He rolled his eyes overdramatically, doing his best to stifle his smile. “I dunno, I’ve never really given much thought to biting people. Maybe I’ll keep that in mind to use as a threat, it’ll catch people off guard.” He chuckled softly to himself. “Well the only way I’ll be able to tell if you’re in a bad mood is from talking to ya.” He pondered for a moment. “Just tell me to go away, that’ll be enough for me. Unless you need a hug. I’m always willing to give hugs.” He bobbled his head up and down a few times. “Yup yup.” The girls at home always said he gave good hugs, but he wasn’t sure whether or not they were pulling his leg. Oh well.
He raised an eyebrow at her. Though he assumed she was joshing him, part of him, from as little as he knew of Akki, wouldn’t put it past her to take a small nibble. “I’ll just have to take your word for it then, shall I?” He looked down at the flitt, looking sympathetic, shaking his head sadly. “Poor Sargon.” He snorted with laughter, not able to keep up the act any longer.
After Riler jumped up, Akki did the same, only she tripped over herself and stumbled onto the ground. Riler fell back into his chair, howling with laughter. When he had calmed down, she was back on her feet and setting the chair back upright. “Well, you should have told me you were joking. I’ll take things quite literally if they’re not clarified.” He smiled as he watched her, pleased with the incident. As the drudge brought over the food, he gave her a thanks before attacking the plate. Greedily, he began to satisfy his empty stomach. When he realized he was acting rather impolite by eating so fast, he slowed down enough so that they could continue to hold a conversation. “So…” He paused, trying to think of something to talk about. “What have you been up to?” Admittedly, he knew that he was positively awful at starting small-talk. He’d try his best anyways.

Ooc|| And if there isn't, I'LL INVENT MY OWN
A large grin erupted on Akki's face as she heard Riler's proclamation of always willing to give hugs. "For now on, if I'm ever having a bad day I will come seek you out and get a hug from you. And in return, I won't bite you. Deal?" The blue rider said as she nodded up and down, sticking her hand across the table so Riler could shake it and seal the deal. "But while hugging me, you have to promise me that you're not smearing food on my back where I can't see what you're doing.".
"Well, you can nibble at him if you feel you must. But he might want to take a bite out of you in return. So I suggest just throwing him some food every now and then, because you do that he's a content flitt." She said with a shrug as she cooed to Sargon, trying to convince the jittery green to come back on her shoulder which he did after a moment of convincing. "He's so neurotic. I blame his mother." She said, fully knowing that being around the accident-induced Akki made the green so neurotic.
Akki sniffed, trying to be as dignant as possible as she squirmed in her chair to get comfortable. "I'll have a bruise because of that." She said with a mock frown pulling on her features. "Fine, from now on I shall tell you everything that I'm joking about, which happens to be alot of things so be prepared to hear 'That's a joke by the way' quite a few times. Oh, and that was a joke by the way. I won't be doing that. Except for that time, of course." She said as she picked at her sweet roll, placing it in her mouth one crumb at a time. "The usual really, I went to the lake a few times with just Ebbeth and I. And another time with Hasima and Rimith." She said with a casual shrug before pointing accusedly at the candidate, "You still haven't met my blue, have you?"

As she extended her hand across the table, Riler firmly took grasp of it, shaking it. “It’s a deal.” She added the little bit of him having to promise her, at which he promptly swore to not do such a thing. The idea had never even crossed his mind, to do that to Akki or anyone else. It seemed like such a low thing to do, fouling someone when they needed comfort. He saw no pleasure in adding insult to injury, that just wasn’t his game.
“I’ll pass on the nibbling, you’ve dissuaded me thoroughly.” He eyed the flitt as he hopped back up onto her shoulder. He snorted in his food as she called him neurotic. “Oh, sure, blame the mother. He knew her for all of how long?” He jabbed at the air with a meatroll, pointed at Akki. “I dunno, I think spending large quantities of time with you might have some psychological effects.” He grinned, tossing the meatroll into his mouth as he thoroughly chewed it and swallowed.
He smiled at her sympathetically. “Poor Akki, she has a bruised rump!” He gave a hearty laugh as he poured himself another cup of klah. He felt a sudden pang of nervousness as she mention that she’d tell him whenever he was joking. He knew she joked a lot, more than anyone he had met at the Weyr. Every other sentence would be ‘that’s a joke’ . He was quite relieved to hear that that was a joke, showing this relief by giving a long, thankful sigh.
Upon mentioning he had never met her blue dragon, Ebbeth, Riler paused for a moment to think. She was right, the few times that they had met had been dragon-less events. “You’re right!” He scratched his head for a moment, wondering. “What, are you so ashamed of him that you won’t introduce him to your new friends?” He poked his tongue out at the young rider, squinting his eyes in attempt to look as childish and immature as possible. Feeling rather silly, he knew that he succeeded.

Akki nodded, content with his answer and his promises. "Good, then I think if I ever need a hug I'll go find you knowing that you won't secretly bite me when I'm not looking.". She threw a bit of the food at Sargon, who happily snatched it up. "I think we'll be good friends Riler." Akki said with a single nod. Of course she said this to anyone she met, until they did something that made Akki not want to be friends with them. But she didn't think Riler would do anything like that.
Akki pointed a finger at the candidate and pointed out, "He clearly knew her long enough to get neurotic from her. So even if it was a short amount of time, it affected him deeply, scarring him for life.". Akki's face fell slightly, purposefully of course, as Riler said the thing about the psychological effects. She ripped off a piece of the sweet roll that was in her hand and threw it at Riler. "Just for that, I hope you get some psychological effect that makes you think everything is after you and every time you try to drink your klah, you think it will bite you.".
"Yes, she does!" Akki said, agreeing in third person. "And I won't let you forget it either since you helped cause it. For now on, I'll keep whining about it just so you can feel bad for making me fall off the chair.". Akki snorted with amusement and said jokingly, "Of course I'm ashamed of him, who's ever heard of a mute blue?". You better stop being ashamed of me, or else you're going to find lovely presents in your weyr tonight Ebbeth returned, used to the friendly arguements him and his rider had often. Akki pulled a face, imagining what those presents would be. "You'll meet Ebbeth soon enough Riler, and then you'll regret it. Any time you feel like meeting him, I'll tell him to meet us at the lake.".

((*looks at his short post sadly* The otter…He cries. [+592542 awesome points if you know where that’s from!] ))
He grinned at her at her comment. “I’m glad.” He meant it, too. Making friends was very important to him. He didn’t fancy being friendless in his new home. Spending years and years alone…Back at his home, there was an old man who lived alone. His father said he had been alone his entire life. He was absolutely awful to people, shouting and cursing at Riler and his friends. He didn’t want to turn out like someone like him. “Uh huh.” He smirked back at her. “Right, if you insist.” He swatted at the sweet roll as it was thrown at him, knocking it away from his face. He stared at her quizzically for a moment. “Wait, do you mean that they’re not out to get me, yet?” He acted as if he were wiping away sweat from his forehead, giving a deep sigh. “Whew, what a relief!”
He tilted his head to the side, amused. “Well, you also helped cause your tragic fall,” emphasizing the word ‘tragic’. “As did the drudge.” He wagged his finger at Akki. “Does that mean you’ll be annoying yourself and the drudge, too?” He gave her a wink, grinning. “Is he that quiet? That’s a shame.” She went silent for a moment before making a face. He stared at her, bemused, until he realized she was probably communicating with her dragon. A surge of envy swept over him, but he kept his cool. Someday, he thought to himself, someday. “Regret it, will I? Well, we’ll see, then.”

Ooc|| I don't know where it's from D: But I want the poiiiints. Um. Ohgawsh. PB AND J OTTER c: That's where it's from.
Akki grinned contently. She was glad that she was able to make friends so quickly with Riler, she definitely liked the boy and his humour. It was odd how she had so many more friends here compared to Derth, where she got in trouble for just giggling because of her fathers sensitivity. She frowned slightly, remembering how batty the guy was and how mad he got when she smiled long after her mothers death. But she couldn't help but wonder slightly how he was doing, after all he was still her father. "You know, I'm slightly wishing you didn't have good reflexes so you would have gotten hit by that." Akki said, waving a hand slightly for no apparent reason.
Akki snorted slightly and amusedly at his proclamation of relief, "I think you would know when they were after you. You'd never drink klah again, and become all shifty and hide in the shadows for the rest of your life.". "I blame my horrid sense of balance." Akki sniffed with as much dignity as she could muster. "The drudge is probably already annoyed at me for being so clumsy in the first place, so I don't have to worry about that part. And I don't think it would be possible to annoy myself. Is it?" She asked with wide eyes, thinking of how one could annoy their self.
Akki giggled quietly, "Who's heard of a dragon that couldn't bugle? Oh, poor Ebbeth. You shall be pitied in songs that have yet to be sung." She grinned and winked at Riler. Honestly, she loved how Ebbeth was mute even if she didn't know why he was that way. In her opinion, it added character to the small blue, not that he needed any more though. "Oh, you will. He has a tendency to splash anything and everything near the lake. He's also very sarcastic, just to warn you."

((OOC: Wrooooooong. *buzzer noise* I didn’t think you’d guess it. xD I’d be absolutely amazed if you did; hence, the large number of points. BUT HEY. You get a cookie for participating. *gives a cookie*))
IC:
“Well, maybe next time, you’ll throw it when I’m not looking right at you.” He winked at her, smirking. He always did have good reflexes. During fights back home, with his friends, he could usually dodge a few blows and lands a couple hits on the opponent before he was even touched. It could be considered something to be proud of, he reflected. Then again, there wasn’t much reason in being too proud. Riler had a tendency of thinking that he was always being too proud, so whenever a compliment came his way, he never took it seriously. Just smile and thank them, he would think, just smile and thank them for the compliment. However, he had noticed this lack of being able to take a compliment well and had been working on it.
Riler chuckled at her. “Goodie, so you’ll know the signs when I finally snap and go crazy, then.” He smirked at Akki. “Horrid sense of balance, eh? Flying must be awful for you, then.” He pictured the rider falling off her blue dragon at take off, falling onto her rump. He laughed at this for a moment, but then realizing Akki didn’t know what he was laughing about, he abruptly ceased to show his amusement. “To annoy yourself?” He pondered over the idea for a moment. “Just do a bunch of things that annoy you! Then you’ll be annoyed.” He nodded enthusiastically.
He chuckled at her again. “Aw, c’mon now, it can’t be that bad, having a quiet dragon. Peace and quiet are very good, those two things help people sleep. And sleep is very, very good.” Again, his head bobbled up and down eagerly. “He’ll splash me, huh? Then I’d rather meet him on a hot day.” Why meet the blue on a cold day at the lake and been shivering for the rest of the day? “Yeah, definitely a warm day.”

Ooc|| Ohgosh -Nomnom- Coooookie. I tried googling it c: It failed miserably xD
She grinned sheepishly and shrugged in the same manner. "Yeah, that probably would help, wouldn't it? Fine then. Next time you turn away from me, and you least expect, I'll hurl a piece of food at your head." She said, nodding with defiance. However, this now meant she had to keep a piece of food on her person every minute of the day until she could catch him off guard. And having the idea of some edible item begin to slowly rot while on her just didn't seem appetizing in any way to say the least.
"Oh." She said, eyes widening slightly. "Oh, I guess I do then. So I also guess that I can tell people when you have finally lost it, that way we can help you. If, you know, there's a cure for that kind of insanity.". Akki raised an eyebrow as Riler started to laugh to himself, but said nothing. She had a pretty good idea as to what he was picturing in his mind. "Thankfully, Ebbeth has a good sense of balance. So we balance each other out...no pun intended.". She made a face at Riler, wrinkling her nose and wailed, "But I don't know what annoys me!"
Akki snickered, "That's true. It does have it good points about it. He can't scold me with a bugle or any other noise at least.". "But I do hope you get a really loud dragon, that makes lots of noises when you try to sleep, and I only say this because you laughed at me when I fell." She said with a nod or two, and of course, a crooked grin. "Good plan, cold water on a cold day? Not the best combination in the world."

((OOC: Hah, I'd be very surprised if you found it on Google. xD))
He smirked at her for a moment. Sarcastically, he said, “Oh no! Whatever shall I do?” He laughed heartily, shaking his head a bit. “Best be on my guard then, shan’t I?” Riler grinned. “I better warn you, though, I have eyes in the back of my head. So I’ll always be watching out for you.” He winked before popping the last meat roll into his mouth. He licked his lips for a moment before straightening his posture.
He chuckled at Akki, eyes glinting. “If I ever do go crazy, please just drop me off in between.” He made no notion of whether he was being serious or just pulling her tail. In truth, even he didn’t know. Probably serious, he thought to himself. To live a life where he wasn’t in control anymore wasn’t a life he wished to live anymore. “Well, I guess we should be grateful for such small mercies. We wouldn’t want a splattered Akki in the middle of the Weyr Bowl, now, would we?” He tilted his head to the side for a moment. “I can be pretty annoying.” He nodded assertively.
“Well there ya go!” He smiled at her. “Way to take the optimistic approach. A quiet dragon can’t yell at you…” He paused for a moment. “Well, ‘cept in your head, of course.” He sipped at the cup of klah when he remembered he still had some left. His smile quickly faded at the thought of having a loud dragon of his own. “Now, now, that’s just mean. Sure, laughing at you might not have been nice, but that’d just be cruel.” He looked around for a piece of food to throw at her, but he then remembered he finished the last of the food. He scowled, a little disappointed by this. “I’ll be avoiding the lake on cold days from now on.” His face lightened up, lips twisting into a grin.

Ooc|| Yeah, I got all this weird sites :c
Akki krinkled her nose up as she imagined Riler with two, unblinking eyes peering out of the hair on the back of his head. She groaned slightly, "Gee, thanks. Now I'm going to have nightmares about that.". Feigning a shudder, she let her face go back to normal, "Riler, do you realize how creepy a thought that is? You watching for me, every minute of the day?". Shaking her head at thought of Riler peering around corners, looking for her, she snickered.
She swayed on the chair for a moment as she tried to cross her legs, "I don't know Riler. What if I like the crazy you better? Can I keep it then, as a pet? I'd feed it and take care of it. Honest!". She bit the corner of her mouth as she pictured her self splayed on the ground, Ebbeth circling above to view the damage. "I don't know, I'm sure a few people might want to see that. You know, people with morbid minds and all." She leaned on her elbows and stared at Riler, "Is that an offer to annoy me until we find out what annoys me?"
"Yeah, the head part sometimes gets more annoying than being yelled at normally. You can't exactly walk away from it." She said with a roll of her eyes, as memories flooded back to her that involved Ebbeth pointing things out to her that she didn't want to hear. "How is that cruel? See, I figure you'll be so delighted at the fact you have a fancy dragon you won't notice it's rambunctious ways." She said with a nod. She was certain that Riler would get a dragon, what dragon wouldn't want this lovable, if supposedly annoying, guy as their own? Akki shook her head, blonde hair flying around her. "Oh no, no, no, no. One day I'll bring yo uto the lake on a cold day. Everyone needs to have the experience of being knocked into the lake while the air around them is deathly chilly."

((OOC: Hmmm....I decided to Google it. I found it on the first page. xD))
He smirked out of satisfaction, pleased with Akki’s reaction. “You’re very welcome.” He tilted his head as he thought about eyes poking out of his hair. “Hmm…” He chuckled. “That’d be pretty fun to have. Creepy?” Riler tilted his head from side to side, questioning whether or not it was, indeed, creepy. “Maybe just a bit. But I’m sure you’d get used to it.” He nodded his head a few times. “Yupyup. Be afraid; very afraid.”
Riler frowned at the notion at being kept as a pet. “I most certainly disagree! You may not keep me as a pet!” He scowled at her. “Be happy that I’m too comfortable on this stool.” He sniffed indignantly. “Otherwise I’d jump over the table and tackle you to the ground. Treat crazy me like a pet, will you?” In truth, the stool wasn’t really comfortable, but he wasn’t about tackle the poor unsuspecting girl. As funny as part of him would find that, he knew that nothing good could come of it. “Bah, if you go crazy, I’m going to parade you from hold to hold.” He smirked at her. “Quite possibly, it might have been.” He leaned closer to Akki, lowering his voice. “Why, want to find out?”
“Mmm, I bet. I suppose shouting back doesn’t help the situation though, huh?” Just trying to picture Akki in front of a massive blue dragon, shouting her little heart out at it, was comical to Riler. He snickered for a moment. “A fancy dragon, huh? Which dragons are the most fancy, then?” He stuck his face in front of her face invasively. “Huh? Huh?” He retracted his face, grinning at his own annoyance. “Everyone? Shesh.” He rolled his eyes, a stupid smile on his face. “Can I not be a part of everyone? Just this once?”
