(Aderyn needs to be searched soo...Yeah ^_^)
The course hairbrush was run through silky hair once or twice more before being tossed into a bag. Aderyn coolly survayed the room one last time to make sure that she hadn't forgotten to pack anything. It was small and dingy little room and she was glad to be finally leaving it.
For the past six months this room in this inn had been Aderyn's home in Azvon hold. It was in one of the less respectable areas of the hold but then again thats were you tended to find women like Aderyn. She hated her job. It was degrading and now Aderyn wished she had never gotten into it but it paid well and she was yet to find a replacement job. But yet again she was leaving a hold.
Every few months Aderyn would pay up and leave, moving on to the next hold in search of new men and of a way out. But the way she was going it was very unlikely to happen. She had gotten to settled into a life with little work, lots of pay and quite frequent traveling. She needed a mircule to get out of it.
Five turns now Aderyn had been living alone, three of them in this line of work and she was only seventeen. Though she acted as though she was much older.
After one last walk around the room, Aderyn looked at herself in the mirror, smoothed down her skirt and left the room with her bag on her shoulder.
With a smile Aderyn went up to the owner of the inn and began talking to him, trying to get a discount on her. With pale skin and fine features Aderyn was really very pretty, even beautiful and normally could get her way with men. And look, she only had to pay half of her fee.
Smiling all the more, Aderyn left the building, thinking about how petty and low men were. Deciding to go some where...nice for a drink and a meal Aderyn headed towards the nicer part of the hold and picked out a nice cafe.
On her shoulder sat a young cat which seemed to think it was a flitt or something by the way it say. Every now and then a slender hand would go to pet Seth's soft fur. The kitten purred loudly and kept rubbing his head against Aderyn's.
"You can not bring that animal in here." The owner of the cafe said.
"But you let flitts in and Seth is less trouble then they are." Aderyn retorted as pouted slightly. "I promise that he wont be any trouble and we sharn't stay long at all. We are leaving town tonight."
"It is against out policy...."
And on went to conversation until Aderyn was sat at a nice little table beside the window awaiting her food with Seth sat on her lap.
It was about half an hour later when Aderyn strolled out of the little cafe. She stretched and almost dropped her bag but caught it just before it hit the ground. She laughed a little at her own foolishness and then smiled as Seth jumped up onto her shoulder, purring contentedly as the pair moved away from the café.
