A meeting of the minds

[Dragon]

"Figures. You run away because you hear something you don't like. There is nothing bad about you. You are simply a spoiled little brat who gets mad when she doesn't get her way", he said to her with a dry tone, still not bothering to even look at her. He said nothing when she left and continued to lay there. "It is far too easy to get under her skin. Perhaps this one can be a bit more amusing than the others", he said to himself. What he meant by that only Dicer himself knew.

[Tenma]

Karie popped on her shoulder and looked into Miya's eyes. The girl glared angrily and turned around and back towards Decir. The green flitt had given her the image of the first part of what Decir said, but not the second part, the green had left by that time. "No. I left because you are boring me. You are simply laying here, but I came hoping to get something interesting in this boring Weyr. You aren't even talking so tell me, why should I stay?" She asked, her rudeness completly gone. She was simply bored and looking for something to do now. No longer was she trying to impress the new kid whom everyone said was dangerous. She was bored with that, for he didn't care.

[Dragon]

"What more would you have me do in my cot? Not lay in it? And as I said before I talk when I want to talk not when someone tells me I have to talk. And another thing you stalked me all the way from the lower caverns to my cot just to get something interesting out of me, for entertainment? I am not here for any one's amusement", he said to her. She was an odd one this one. What possibly drove her thought pattern, she seemed to make no sense at all, one action or word seeming to contradict one another.

[Tenma]

She thought about what he said while standing in the door way. "I think I need to rest. See ya." She said simply and left. She made sure her fire-lizards were with her this time because she really didn't want to hear any more of his insults. A yawn escaped her lips.

Life in the Weyr was so boring. Would it have been different if there was thread? This thought caused her dark brown eyes to look up at the sky.

[Dragon]

"Hm interesting that one", he said simply when she had left. When would he fight G'han? He guessed whenever the bronzerider was free. It could be a sevenday from now who knew. Dicer shrugged and dozed off to sleep.

[Dragon]

(gets bored and goes ahead and posts this. i wanted to wait until after G'han and Nike were done but i gots bored)

A while later G'han was in the weyrbowl. He finally had time for this little match of his with Dicer and had told the candidate to meet him here. The wind blew through G'han's hair, it was very windy today. G'han did some stretching and saw the candidate come forward. "Whenever you are ready to start", he said to him. He gave a smirk and said, "One thing. Get rid of the blade. We use no weapons".

Dicer shrugged and threw the blade to the side, he was perceptive that was for sure. He threw off his cloak and it covered the knife. He gave some stretching and then said, "Ready. Oh and this time you attack first". He gathered that much from when he was training Nike. He didn't like to attack first.

"Clever", G'han said. He is smart I will give him that. He was already able to figure out I don't like to attack first, he wants to know why. Heh he has been watching me then, giving himself the possible advantage of knowing his enemy and the enemy not knowing him. This should be fun. G'han moved quickly and lunged his fist forward at Dicer but then he darted to the side and jumped down and swung his leg to trip Dicer.

Dicer readied himself for the attack, but just as he was ready to make his counter G'han had tripped him. Dicer fell backwards on his back with an umph. He got back up and lept back. Shards he is fast. He saw G'han come at him again but he quickly dodged and lunged forward with his fist. Just when he thought he had him G'han had grabbed the fist and flung him forward. He was now face first in the dirt. He stood back up again and readied himself. This was almost insane, perhaps he took him too lightly. He wouldn't make the mistake again. He watched G'han's movements from now on to the best of his ability.

G'han stood back as he got back up and gave a smirk. He seemed to have caught the candidate by suprise. This time he would wait him out. He wanted him to attack first well he did and G'han was sure he was sorry for it. He waited for Dicer's next move.

[Tenma]

Miya came to watch another sparring, this one between G'han and Decir. She stood at the edge, waiting for the match to begin. Tonu and Kalie were once again darting around in the sky, like they always did when there was a fight. Even if it was Miya in the training. She smirked at them, they sure had the adrenaline for a good fight.

Her dark brown eyes turned back to the upcoming match. She gave an interested look at Decir. He was her main interest in this battle. Sure G'han was good, but depending on how well Decir did against G'han might help her figure out if the male figure was as strong as had been told, for she had found out nothing about him during there chat. To her dismay, she was positive that he found more out about her.

With a shrug of her own, the battle finally begun. G'han went first, lunging at Decir but pulling a trick and tripping the candidate. He succeeded. Decir went in for a punch but G'han pulled him forward, sending the candidate face first into the ground. Miya released a mocking laugh. Normally she would stay calm and watched, but there was something about that candidate that she didn't like, so she laughed. Even if he claimed he didn't care. It was satisfying for her.

[Akki]

Akki heard something about G'han and Dicer challenging one and another, and her curiosity got the best of her, causing her to find out as much as she could. Which led her here, walking towards Miya who was also surveying the match, Sargon wrapped around her shoulders contently.

"Hello Miya." Akki said as she appeared beside the gold rider, flopping down onto the ground as she crossed her legs. She watched as Dicer threw away his knife and covered it with his cloak when she realized she still never learned anything new about his knife, or his brother. She shrugged to herself as she saw G'han rush Dicer.

Akki actually didn't think that G'han was going to trip him, and apparently neither did Dicer because he was soon struck from underneath, causing him to topple over. She watched as he jumped back, before being struck down again, this time his faced shoved into the dirt.

She watched as a bemused grin slid slowly on to her face, she found it odd how one person can think of themself being invincible and yet when it really comes down on them, they aren't as good as they thought. She was jolted out of her thoughts as Miya's laugh reached her ears. She looked up and said, "Miya, why are you laughing? Are you enjoying this?".

[Dragon]

He isn't the only one with tricks. Dicer rushed G'han a forward attack, something simple but he wouldn't make it that way. He rolled down and kicked behind G'han's knees and sent the bronzerider to the ground on his knees. He stepped on his back planting his face in the dirt and grabbed both of his arms. He seemed to have him pinned now.

G'han was caught by suprise from the roll and ended up in a pin. Dicer had his arms now and stepped on his back. he was pinned. He gave a smirk when Dicer shifted the foot on his back G'han pulled his arms forward causing the foot to slip off his back and Dicer to come forward. G'han pulled hard and slammed his back into Dicer. The candidate stumbled backwards and soon regained his composure. G'han gave a smirk, this one would seem to give him more of a challenge.

Shards I almost had him. He is strong but if my foot hadn't slipped I should have had him. He is smart he knew how to get himself out of it. Dicer went forward with a series of punches each one being blocked but G'han had done the same both punching and blocking making it seem almost like a sort of dance. Dicer slid back, that didn't work. He came forward rushing him again but this time lept up and kicked G'han square in the face.

G'han fell back into the ground. For a moment he looked as though he were knocked out. He stood back up and gave a laugh as he rubbed his face. "You pack a wallop kid", he said to him. G'han was amazed, that kick was pretty strong it managed to knock him almost senseless.

Dicer looked in shock. What in Faranth is this guy made of? A blow to the face couldn't incapasitate him. Well I wanted to see what he was capable of and this is it, atleast I seem to be able to hurt him so that is a plus. He stood back and figured what he would do next.

[Akki]

Akki couldn't help but raise her eyebrows slightly as Dicer rolled and kicked G'han behind the knees, no doubt causing them to buckle. She stared as Dicer then pinned him onto the ground, and shoved her friends face into the dirt.

She actually thought that Dicer might have got G'han when he had him pinned, but then G'han somehow escaped from the hold, which made Akki smile. She didn't know why she thought, no offense to Dicer but G'han was probably more skilled than him.

Akki saw the kick heading towards G'han's head and when it made contact, she winced. It only made sense, that did look like it hurt. "Shards." She whispered as he fell on to the ground, only to pull himself up and laugh it off like it was nothing. "Go G'han." She said, just loud enough to reach his ears. Or maybe it was louder? She really had no control over how loud she was, as no doubt many people realized.

[Dragon]

The two looked over to hear Akki and see Miya with her. So the fight had drawn some spectators. Dicer looked back at G'han. How could he have taken that kick like that. He went after him again with another punch to the gut only to have it blocked, then he followed with a kick which also met with no success. He darted back and spiraled around to be behind G'han. He clasped his hands together and pounded the bronzerider's back.

G'han blocked off the kick and the punch with little effort but the pounding to his back met with success and G'han fell forward and was planted into the dirt. He slowly got back up and looked at Dicer and smiled. "That had to be the best hit yet", he said complementing him. He got back to his feet and lunged at Dicer he faked a punch but his knee came up to hit him in the stomach.

Dicer smiled as the blow made contact but scowled as he got back up and then more suprisingly went on the attack. The hit to the stomach made contact and Dicer was soon on the ground holding his stomach. He was strong, amazing for his size. Just as Dicer got back up he was met with a punch to the face. He fell backwards and slid across the ground. He looked up at the bronzerider. "What in the name of Faranth?", he said. He rubbed his face, it hurt badly. That hit was the strongest by far. Where was the limit to his strength? He had to find it before this match was over.

[Tenma]

((I am sorry but being kicked in the face and getting right back up? Was he even bleeding? Was he even pain? That is impossible since Decir is wearing what? boots?))

[Dragon]

(oh don't worry G'han is in pain and it's still affecting him. He just played it off to mess with Dicer's head)

[Tenma]

Miya glared at Akki. How come everytime she came for a show, someone felt like sitting next to her. Why? Weren't they annoyed with her attitude. She wished. Miya snorted. "Why I am laughing you ask? Well you won't get an answer." The goldrider said simply.

She leaned in to watch as Decir pinned G'han down. That was something she hadn't expected. Yet, that hadn't lasted for long and Decir ended up on the ground once again.

The two battled it out, kicking, punching and blocking. It was all very interested but no one really laid a hand or foot on the other. Finally, something happened and Decir kicked G'han right in the face. A smirk crawled onto her face only to be reprimanded by her bonded.

What happened to not wanting to hurt anyone? The gold questioned.

Miya looked around but didn't see the queen. I said I didn't want to hurt anyone. I never said I didn't want to see people hurt eachother. Don't worry, they are just...playing. Miya explained with a sigh.

Almost scaring her, G'han got back up, laughing. By the egg of Farath how did that happen. He doesn't even seem to be in pain! Miya thought wildly, fear in her head, but her face remained cool and emotionless.

G'an punched right back, causing Decir once again to end up on the ground. Miya smirked. "Stop playing in the dirt so much. I thought you were here to fight!" Miya taunted the boy.

[Akki]

Akki looked up at Miya and grinned, the annoyance in her voice was bovious, the girl didn't even bother to hide it. She shrugged and replied, "Oh that's okay. I didn't expect an answer.". She looked at her for a moment longer before turning her attention back to the fight.

What's going on? Pierced Akki's thoughts for a moment as Ebbeth's curiousity grew to large for him to ignore. Dicer and G'han are quarreling She replied simply. She could feel amusement radiate from her blue as he said I hope Gerenanath's rider wins Akki rolled her eyes, she knew Ebbeth would say that sooner or later.

"Shards, these two will kill each other before one of them gives up. Stubborn fools." Akki said as the thought got stuck in her mind. She knew Dicer wouldn't give up, or maybe he would, but she didn't think so. Maybe G'han would? It could happen, she supposed.

As Miya jeered at Dicer, Akki said, though not rudely, "Oh hush Miya, I want to see what happens. This is getting rather interesting, G'han seems like he's unstoppable.". Perhaps he's pretending? Akki frowned in concentration, he could be doing that. But what would that gain him? "Nervousness from Dicer?" Akki said out loud, rolling that possibility around.

[Dragon]

Dicer looked up at the girl and spoke, "I haven't seen you lay a finger on him when you were fighting". He got back up and lunged at him two fisted. G'han had caught each one. He backed up grabbed at 'han's hands and the two were at a stalemate as they gripped each others hands. The two struggled back and forth.

[Tenma]

Miya ignored Akki's first comment, then replied. "I doubt they will care much anyway." Miya snapped.

She glared at Decir. He had a point, she did hit him but never got a good punch or kick. Yet, she did give him that satisfaction. "If you say so." This she didn't bother shouting, but figured he heard her.

[Akki]

"Ha. But Kl...Dicer, she didn't challenge him. You did." Akki shouted, pointing out the flaw in that statement of his. "He really needs to think things through before he says or does them." Akki snorted as she watched each other push one and anotherwith their hands, hoping the other would fall.

[Dragon]

The two struggled for awhile before G'han finally overpowered him. Soon Dicer was on his knees trying to hold him back. Shards he is too strong. It's taking all I have just to hold him where he is. Dicer then fell back and rolled backwards causing G'han to flip over him as he pushed him over with his feet.

G'han flew to the other side of Dicer and landed on his feet with his one hand on the ground. As Dicer got back up he lunged at him then jumped up grabbed his shoulders and flipped behind him. He kicked Dicer square in the back and the candidate fell to the ground and for a few moments he didn't move.

Dicer saw G'han come at him and readied to block when unexpectedly G'han had used him to jump over and behind him and kicked him in the back. He could feel the sharp pain in his spine as he fell to the ground. He lay motionless for a few moment then thought to himself. He is strong, that lone attack almost did me in. He still lay on the ground.

[Tenma]

Miya stood up when she realized that Decir wasn't moving, but she could tell by the motion of his chest that he was still breathing. "Get up you lazy candidate. If you want you can always give up, but don't lay there." She snapped at him.

Tonu stopped flying around when Decir fell. Kalie flew circles around the brown but then realized he had stopped, so she stopped. The two looked down at the unmoving candidate. Was the fight over all ready?
