Meeting for the First time

[nike]

Nike took K'dan's help, then leaned against him while she got her balance back.
"Dizzy. Very dizzy. But I'll be fine," She said blinking.
"Thank you," The Healer added.

[Dragon]

He placed his arms around her as she leaned against him, making sure she wouldn't fall. "It's no problem. You are welcome", he said to her. He pulled out the chair he was sitting in, "Here sit and rest for a bit. Let that dizziness ware off", he said sweetly to her. He waited for her to accept and sit down. "You hit your head when you fell. Are you sure you're alright?", he asked, concern and worry in his voice. Sharan popped from between and chittered angrily at Miya. He flew to the table near the chair K'dan pulled out and chirped as if to say please sit.

Nike took the offered chair and sat down.
She looked up at K'dan he was still fuzzy. The healer blinked her eyes, trying to get her vision back.
"Yes, I am sure that I will be fine. But if you want another Healer to look over me, then so be it,"
She said, taking the three firelizards in her arms, and started to stroke them.
Zim cherped worriedly, and happily. Crystal did the same.

[Dragon]

He helped her into the chair and said to her, "I think that is a good idea". He went to get a healer and came back and brought the healer to Nike to check her out. He stayed by her side as the healer looked her over. Sharan chirped worriedly at Nike.

Nike nodded, and waited, still blinking.
The Healer looked up as another healer came up to examine her, K'dan stood to the side.
She waited, and did what the healer told her to do.
Once done she waited for what he said.
Little did she know, she had gotten a slight concussion.

((The Healer can tell her that.))

[Dragon]

The healer looked at Nike and said, "You have a slight concussion". The healer told Nike what she should do (don't know much about healing or anything like that but i'm guessing it involves get some rest ).

K'dan's jaw dropped a bit when the healer said concussion. "Nike why don't I take you to your cot and you can get some rest", he said to her. He kept his voice calm and soothing for sure. He then took another glare at Miya and then settled his eyes back to Nike.

((Yeah, resting and constant monturing is the best.))

Nike nodded. "Best if you take me to my room. Or the infirmary. The infirmary is closer, but I will be with Ruanth in the Barracks," She said, looking up at the blue rider, still blinking.

[Dragon]

"Whichever is best for you but I doubt I could stay with you in your barrack. I think there are rules against being in the opposite genders barrack but like you said you will have Ruanth", he said to her. He offered his hand to her and helped her up. He put his arm around her for support and to help her to wherever she decided she would go.

[nike]

Nike stood up and leaned against K'dan.
"I don't think I will make it to my Barracks. Even if you help me. We should go to the infirmary,"
She said, then took a step forward. She swayed, and fell into K'dan.

The Healer was still there, and whispered to K'dan,
"I think it would be best if you carried her. She will have trouble walking for awhile,"
He said, then walked away.

[Dragon]

K'dan nodded and it was his thought when she fell into him. "He gently picked her up and held her in his arms. He kissed her slightly and walked over to the infirmery. He laid her in the cot and kissing her cheek said, "Everything will be alright and I won't leave you. He pulled up a chair nearby the cot and held her hand.

Nike smiled as K'dan picked her up, her firelizards following closely.
Ruanth peered in carefully at her rider.
I will stay here as long as I can. And even why people try to move me, I will still stay here.
The white said, worried.
Don't worry, I will be back in our Barrack by tonight. I just need some rest for the moment. Nike told her white.

Her green eyes turned to K'dan. He was still fuzzy. "Thank you K'dan. I need some company," She said, then held his hand tightly.
Not even knowing that her grandparents were making their way towards the Caverens.

[Dragon]

He smiled back at her and said, "And didn't I say I would always be here for you". He held her hand up and kissed it when she squeezed it. You couldn't help but see the worried look in his eyes, he cared about Nike so much and would take her place in an instant if he could. He wished he could have done something back to Miya for doing this to her, but he was too nice and he couldn't do anything to a girl no matter who the girl was. Someone like Dicer on the other hand he would have put down in a heartbeat. He held her hand with one of his hands and with the other he gently stroked it. He over at Nike, not taking his eyes off of her. Sharan followed them into the room and landed near K'dan and Nike.

Nike nodded and smiled. "Yes you did. And now I am very grateful that you said that. I shall always thank you,"
The healer sighed happily, and closed her eyes. Resting here was nice. K'dan was stroking her hand, and she was laying here.
Of course, her head still hurt, and her vision and hearing was still fuzzy, but she was feeling better.

As she lay there, her mind thought of the future. She and K'dan going to Southern Boll.
Shopping, eating, dancing. So much fun. And then a walk on the beach at night. Away from everyone else.
A smile formed on her lips as she thought of all this.

[Dragon]

"And I shall always be here for you", he said to her. He watched her, she seemed so content. He watched as a smile formed on her lips, that beautiful smile that always warmed his heart. "What are you smiling about? Content are we?", he asked softly but the amusement could be heard in his voice. He continued to stroke her hand and hold it.

(ack. i gtg. i wont be back for another 2 and a half hours. )

Nike nodded. "Dreaming of SOuthern Boll. I know that you will love it there. After all, you also grew up by the sea,"
She said, and squeezed his hand once more.

[Dragon]

"I am sure I will and it makes it all the better that I go with you. Yes I grew up by the sea and I love the sea. I like to hang out by the lake and all that but it's not the same", he said to her. He smiled as she squeezed his hand. "I wish I could take your place right now. I would much rather me be the one with the concussion", he said to her with a small frown.

Nike opened an eye to peer at K'dan.
"Are you sure that you want to be the one with the concussion? It's not that fun. Trust me. But since mine isn't that bad, hopefully I will be back on my feet and own room before long," She said, happily.
Feel better mine. I do not like to see you in pain. First your arm, now this. Oh, and also all those sore muscules after working very hard at training. I wish that you will come and be near me.
Love, don't worry. Tonight, I'll be by your side. You will be there to protect me, and no one else could do a better job.
What about K'dan.
My love you for is differeant than, K'dan's. I am closer to you. If you die, I would too. I could not stand to loose another dragon. When Tirith died, I wished to follow her. But I wasn't allowed. If K'dan died, I would still have you. It is hard to make one understand. But K'dan would also sacriffice himself for Hydrath before me. Now do you understand?
Some of that didn't make any sense, but I get the basic idea. Your wisdom is much like that of a dragon's.
These words made Nike smile even more.

[Dragon]

"I am very sure. I would much rather be the one in pain than you. I hope you're better soon", he said to her. He continued to stroke her hand. No matter what he would not leave her side, not for a second. He wouldn't budge.
