A yawn escaped the lips of the green-rider as sleep disappeared from her eyes. She opened her eyelids, to reveal her dark brown eyes. She sat up, dark brown hair falling down in the process. She looked around, not able to remember everything from last night.
Everything looked so strange. Where was she? How did she get here? She looked at the bed and realized there was a strange lump in the bed. With a second glance she realized this lump was a strange man. She looked down and realized she was naked. Her hands clenched around the sheets and pulled it up to her chest to cover her bare skin. A scream erupted from her mouth, shocked and confused.
Slowly memories flooded back into her head. Siarath had flown! Finally, she had begun to fear that day would never come. The dread filled her face. But the green hadn't flown in Dark Moon Weyr. No, Kaith had flown, so they were in Ista Weyr, and flown there. But who had caught Siarath? She looked at the strange man sleeping beside her. R'dal, she suddenly remembered. Elith had caught her bonded.
Relief and fear filled her at once. In one way, she was glad it was R'dal, but they were from different Weyrs.

R'dal was awakened by the scream and fell out of bed in suprise. He looked around. Hm the weyr was his but who would let out a scream other than him...he suddenly remembered what had happened. Elith caught a flying green. Nira's Siarath. He crawled back in bed and looked at her. "What a lovely way to wake up", he said to her. He rubbed his head slightly then turned his eyes back to her, now what. They were from different weyrs, should he transfer? Would she? He was glad his dragon caught hers but confusion filled his head. "Now where do we go from here?", he asked her. The words seem to escape his mouth without his knowledge. Oh well atleast now maybe this would get some confusion out of the way. He sat beside her and looked into her dark brown eyes.

Nira blushed. "Sorry, sorry." She appolagized, looking around the room. "Is this your Weyr?" She asked, still not sure where she was. She then heard what else he had said. "Oh, I am not sure." She sighed. "This is going to be difficult. I am sorry. This was one big mistake. I really can't be sure what we are going to do." Nira sighed.
A smile sprouted on her face. "What an odd way for things to go. I would say it seemed like we just met yesterday, but we did." She chuckled. "Wow." Nira didn't know what to say.

"Yes this is my weyr", he said to her. He gave a frown when she said it was a mistake. "I don't see it as that. I am glad my Elith caught your Siarath. You are a special woman Nira", he said to her and held her hands in his. "One of us could transfer to the others weyr. I suppose it doesn't matter which one of us", he said to her. He didn't want this to be just a one time thing, that wasn't really his style and he was quite taken with Nira.

Nira blushed as he told her she was special. "I suppose, but I don't want to make you leave your friends or your Weyr. A weyr is like your family. I couldn't force you, but I don't know if I could leave mine." Nira sighed. she scooted closer to R'dal and gripped his hand with hers. She sighed. "What have we gotten ourselves into?" She asked, placing her head on his shoulder.

"Well I can transfer to yours then", he said to her. "The only ones I am really close to here are H'dyn and L'sod. But now that H'dyn knows that his brother is at your weyr he should come around more often and he will most likely bring L'sod with him. I am not too worried about losing contact with them as I know they will visit as often as they can. It is you I am worried about losing", he said to her. He leaned over and gave her a kiss on the lips, lifting her head off his shoulder to do so. "I don't mind honestly", he said to her then continued kissing her.

Nira dropped the blankets as she returned the kiss. She was happy with Siaraths choice.
See, it isn't all bad. You just needed a bit of encouragement to get what you wanted. I am not to upset about my choice either. Siarath commented.
Nira broke the kiss in shock as Siarath's voice entered her mind. She smiled. Goodmorning. Nira chuckled.
Goodmorning, Niramine. See, that wasn't as bad as you thought. Siarath reassured.
WE, thought. But you are right. Nira sighed, She leaned again R'dal, the sat up. "I suppose we ought to straighten this out with our Weyrs, huh?" She asked, still shocked by all that had happened.

"Yes", he said and paused to kiss her again then continued, "We can always do that later". He returned to kissing her, her lips were soft and gentle against his. He wrapped his strong arms around her and held her as they kissed.

Nira tensed as he kissed her again. There was work to be done, yet he just wanted to kiss, hug, be passionate. She was not used to this. SHe shivered by slowly relaxed. She was a greenrider, she would get used to it. Besides, she couldn't deny her feelings. She couldn't dissapoint him either. She returned the kiss, running her hands along his back. He was right, it was early in the morning. Besides, Christae just had a flight too. No doubt she didn't want to be interupted this early. Either she was sleeping, or doing what she was doing with R'dal.
She began to wonder who caught Kaith. She hoped it wasn't L'mis. She feared what would happen to her home if he became Weyrleader. And there was Gerenanth. That would be horrible for G'han and Rhia. THey had a baby, but sooner or later one of their dragons would catch a female. Later was probably better.
She broke away to sigh. No, she must stop worrying. THis was her time, just her and R'dal. The Weyr wasn't her problem, she was just a greenrider. She needed a break. She moved forward and kissed the brownrider again, a passionate kiss that she hadn't even expected herself.

R'dals hands wondered up and down Nira's bare back. Her skin was soft and felt nice. He was glad they were now together. He pulled away for some air and then rolled over for her to be on top of him. He looked up at her, she was so beautiful to him. "Beautiful", he said to her with a smile. It was the same word she had said while they were sitting under the tree the day before, right before her dragon flew. He pulled her body close to his. He leaned in for another kiss, this was so nice. Sure his dragon had been in flights before but with little success. Now he caught one. He was glad it was her dragon Elith caught.

Nira giggled as she was placed on top of R'dal. "You are different from any other person I met." She admitted, then again, she had never slept with another man either. Nira ran her fingers through his hair then down his cheek. She leaned closer and brushed her lips across his, kissing him again then pulled away. "I might have asked you this but I can't really remember much from yesterday. Has Elith ever caught another dragon?" She asked curiously, wondering how many times he had done this before.

"Well everyone is different and unique. I am sure I am not like any other man you have met", he said to her then kind of looked to the side for a moment. His eyes returned to hers and he said to her, "No Elith never has, as big of a brown as he is he was never able to catch another dragon but I am glad he caught your Siarath. I believe this is something they would call fate or it's how I feel anyway", he said to her. He gave her another kiss. No his dragon never caught another dragon and he had never been involved with another rider like this.

Nira smiled and allowed him to kiss her once again. Lina popped into the room and flew around, chirping and chittering loudly. Nira pulled away. "Sorry, I have to feed her." Nira apologized. She got up and quickly put some clothes on. "Could you show me where I could get some scraps for her? I don't really even know where your Weyr is." Nira chuckled. Lina flew down and perched on Nira's right shoulder, her hide gleaming golden. She scratched the little flitt's eye-ridges. "Sorry." She apologized again, "but I would love if you did come with me."

"No it's alright", he said to her as she got up for the gold flitt. He gave a smirk as she got dressed and he did the same. "Come with me little lady. I will show you", he said to her. He reached to hook her arm to hers to escort her to some scraps for the flitt.

Nira smiled and hooked her arm in his. "Why thank you good sir." Lina looked over R'dal. She settled back on Nira's shoulder with a snort. "What?" She asked the gold firelizard. "Shall we?" She asked R'dal, motioning towards the exit.

"Yes we shall", he said to her. He gave a bit of a chuckle at the firelizards actions. He led her to the kitchens and got some scraps of meat for the flitt and then he led her to a table to sit. He pulled out a chair for her to sit in first and sat down after she did. He gave a smile and said, "L'sod isn't the only one around here with manners and high gentlemen like qualities". He got Nira and himself a hot cup of klah and sat back down. "I figured you might want some too", he said to her as he set her cup of klah before her. He took a sip before looking at her.

She took the seat as R'dal offered it. "Thank you." She smiled as he handed her the cup of Klah. She took a sip while Lina crawled onto the table, sniffing the table scraps. Nira laughed even though the extreme hunger was beginning to be shared with her. "All right, all right." She told the miniature queen. She grabbed a piece of meat and fed it to the flitt who hungrily snapped it from her hand. She laughed, feeding Lina was always fun. She gave the hungry flitt a bit more food. "Have you ever fed a fire-lizard before?" She asked, offering R'dal a bit of the meet. Lina's eyes followed the food.

He gave a smile as she laughed, such a cheery sound to him it was. "No. Can't say that I have", he said to her. He took the piece of meat he offered her and gave her a thankful nod as he went to feed the golden flitt.

Lina grabbed the food greedily, not caring who fed it to her. Satisfied she flew away lazily, to find a place to sun herself. Nira sighed, "That is a firelizard for you." The greenrider admitted.

R'dal gave a hearty laugh as the gold snatched at the food and left. "She reminds me of H'dyn eat and run", he said with another laugh. "Are you hungry or anything? I'm starting to get a bit hungry myself. I can get you something if you want", he asked her. He got up and waited for her answer.
