Nike stoped to take a breather, and watched her gold.
How many times did queens fly a Turn? One to three right?
THe Healer watched as her queen's hide was slowly getting brighter.
"Shards!" The Healer said loudly. It was a hot, suny day. It had to be the heat which is making her go into her mating sense.

The Harper was suprised when Nike shouted.
"What's wrong," he asked.
Suni kept a close watch on Zim, his eyes whirling quickly.
The flitt was sure to keep with every turn.
Aureth stopped and looked at the two "little dragons" fly.

The little queen dove into the lake, and came up with a fish.
Nike ran to D'ran and cursed.
"She's gonna Mate." The Healer said softly. She wondered if K'dan's little bronze was gonna come a chase Zim.
Nike was getting hot. Not even the nice breeze from the lake was cooling her. No is wasn't. It seemed to make her better.

D'ran looked wide eyes at Suni who had paused for a moment and stared at Zim.
He landed on a rock in a ready position.
"Shards," he said and wondered what would happen.
Maybe Christae's Bronze or some other flitts would come.

Zim rupped the fish opened and ate it quickly.
She then raised her little maw to the sky and let out a kinda loud bugle.
The gold shot into the air, away from it all. Away from the humans, from the other firelizards and from everything else.
Nike started fretting, then turned to D'ran.
"Who's ever firelizard catches Zim, tell them to come to my room." She said nervously then walked over and entered the Weyrling Barracks.
Ruanth stoped and watched the flight.

K'dan finally made it to where the others were. He looked over to see Nike had hurt her arm. He rushed over to her. "Are you ok. I knew I should have been here earlier but I got caught up", he said. He looked worriedly at Nike.
(wait a minute Zim is flying again?)
Sharan came from know where and chased after the gold queen. He pulled in closer to her and matched her moves.

Before Nike had walked away she nodded.
"I'm fine. It's just broken." She murmered, knowing that K'dan's bronze was going to enter the flight.

Tokagae jumped up after Zim, his talons scrathing the rock.
His powerful wings pumped him up higher and closer.
It was good that the flitt had taken a breather.
He had almost full energy now.

Tokagae came flying in just a little after Suni took off.
Kia came running after and bumped head on into Nike.
Hopefully nobody would notice her hair-cut.
Thgough she was on the floor Nike didn't seem hurt from her.
Then Kia noticed Nike's sling.
"Are you ok," she asked.
Nike seemed anxious, though, so Kia moved so the Healer could pass.

((Yeah, well it had been like four or five months since her last flight in Pern time.))
The queen darted up higher. Just a little golden spot in the sky.
She taunted her chasers. THe two bronzes and the brown.
NIke sat down on the floor of her room. She knew what was going to happen when Zim was caught.
The Healer could only hope that it was a bronze who was bonded to a male.
It was like a dragon flight, but not as bad.

Sharan didn't pay mind to the other two. HE was closer to the queen and knew he would soon catch her. K'dan watched as the flitt chased after the gold. "Um Nike tell me what does this mean. I have never had this happen before", he asked her.

Suni glared at the other Bronze flitt and shot closer to the Queen.
He was neck and neck with the other.
Tokagae was behind a little but he was close to them.

K"dan noticed noticed Nike wasn't there and directed it towards D'ran. Sharan shot up closer to the queen now almost close enough to catch her. He wasn't going to hold back now but neither was he going to waist all his energy.

Zim tauned the three firelizards as she darted this way and that.
Nike sat on the floor, only hoping and praying to Faranth that it was a male rider.
The queen hissed at bit as Sharan came close to her.

D'ran looked at K'dan.
He was not completely sure himself but he kind of knew.
"It's just like with dragons.
Zim is flying to mate and she will clutch eggs that will harden and hatch," he said, a bit out of breath.
Suni was not going to let this- this Sharan catch the flitt.
He pumped his wings harder, not giving up without a fight.
Tokagae flew a little sto the side, seeing if Zim tried to do some trick that would make him closer.

The other bronze now was growing tired and Sharan had enenrgy to spare. He flew close and was now in range to catch her. He went and grabbed for her.

Zim laughed at the males then twirled around. Once she did so she felt a neck twine around her own.
She sturggled around, but felt the claws, and tail snag hers.
The gold pushed away bit, and got a bit free. Did she want to be caught?
Nike gasped when Zim was caught Who would be coming in? She thought.

Suni moved up and tackled Sharan.
D'ran gasped at his flitts actions.
Tokagae was pretty much left in the dust, though.
