Awerah stirred the liquid before her with a spoon idely as she stared into the tiny whirlpool of klah. Awerah had always liked a spoon specifically for the hot liquid. Ever since she started drinking the liquid, she enjoyed stirring it between sips. But at this moment in time, there was no real enjoyment in her habit. She sighed, quite discontent.
Mine? What is wrong Awerahmine? You seem quite distant.
Awerah gave another sigh before answering her more hyperactive dragon. Sereth would bug Awerah to no end until she spoke up. No ignoring the green this time. I'm fine. I'm just bored. Awerah admitted to her dragon. Sereth gave up her inquiry. The green wasn't exactly satisfied with the answer, knowing there was more to it than that, but she understood what wasn't spoken to know the rest for herself.
Awerah had been doing well since the death of K'tar, but she was back in the mood to flirt with the guys again. Unfortunantly the reason for K'tar's death was the very reason the weyr was so tense and busy lately. Sure, Awerah played her part, but it could actually get quite lonely. It seemed as time passed on, the more guys were either ignoring and not realizing the charms she was trying to put on. It was really quite sad to Awerah. No one to entertain her. She didn't want to be tense like the rest of the weyr.
I don't suppose you've had any luck lately? She finally decided to speak up again and ask her dragon. The small green lifted her head from her resting spot and responded to her. Not really. Most of them are boring. Atleast right now. It's no fun. Sereth practically whined to Awerah. The greenrider shook her head at the green's complaining. When she settled her head back in place, she blew a few strands of hair out of her face before taking another sip of klah, laying the spoon at the side of where the cup once was.
