Ooc|| Bynor treats Terwin like a woman

It was interesting to listen to Danae talk. He had chatted with a few drudges who had met the woman once or twice and according to the information she received, she was normally a little more lively. Well, not lively but feistier. He took a sip out of his wine glass and nodded with what Danae was saying about whers. “A friend of mine is a wherhandler. A bronze I think? Or perhaps it was a blue. Either way, I can see if they would be interested in a transfer to Caspian.” He said with a casual shrug, his thoughts already churning. He could send out a flitt to his friend and see and hopefully that would add another wher to the Hall. Plus so far there was only one bronze and no blues so the wher would definitely be a good thing.

“I don’t believe we have any business to conduct within the holdings, but if we do we will come find you as soon as possible.” He said with a bob of his head. He couldn’t think of anything at the moment but maybe Lord Bynor has some ideas for later on. A crooked grin was on his face as Laier threw in another ‘Sir’ before he snorted into his wine at her feathers comment. He put down his glass and laughed loudly, “We will get you the most expensive and soft feathers, I assure you.” He was glad that she had made the joke, the conversation seemed almost too formal up to that point.

“I’m afraid I may have to visit the Wher Hall if the fine wine is sent then.” He said with a grin as he took another sip from the glass. He was a sophisticated man who liked business but he also liked wine. Cheap, expensive, it didn’t matter.

Danae looked a little worried as Laier made an off the cuff comment about her pillows. Byt both men took it well! So no harm was done, she smiled at the green handler, “Well, well, I knew you had promise, you’ve now got a Lord holder and his highest advisor tracking down the best of Pern’s pillows, just for you.” She laughed, shook her head, “You never cease to amaze me Laier” She laughed silently through her nose.

She turned to Terwin as he spoke. Spoke of knowing a Bronze handler, though it might be a blue, “Oh! Really? Either way we’d welcome them! We only have one of anything right now, and no blue, so either way is fine, though I’m sure Alder would love another male around the place. I think he might feel a little swamped by females right about now.” She smirked.

And fine wine! Well how amazing. “Well, we’ve treated ourselves to a few – but, they are all gone, and they mightn’t have been as fine as you desired, Terwin, but we handlers do occasionally make for good company, that you mightn’t need to use the wine as an excuse.” She played with the man opposite.

Laier snickered shamelessly. That ... hadn't been the reaction she'd expected. But it was a good one nonetheless! Though she did catch the moment of worry that crossed Danae's face. Oops ... not good to do that. "Mmmm ... pillows. That's a funny story, actually. What happened to my pillow..." She rolled her eyes upward to contemplate the ceiling for a moment, before grinning at Terwin. But before she could go on with that dramatic bit, she was distracted.

"Who, Alder?" Laier asked, shocked. "Naw ... Alder would never feel swamped! I suspect her rather likes it like that..." She looked off to the side and back again, before grinning impishly, snickering.

"Mmm .. wine. Always good." She gestured with her cup for a moment, before realizing it was almost empty. She frowned at it, then dragged over the skin so that she could refill it, before offering to fill Terwin's mug, too. "More wine?" She offered, courteously. And then, just to be a snot, with a grin she tacked on; "Sir?"
