Any plot ideas?

We will have to have a hatching as soon as we can get this up and running again but in the meantime we need something to get the rp juices flowing here.

Is there a plot explanation for all of the dead time at the Weyr? Did we just wanna pick up from where we left off with whatever changes we make to our characters

Or did we wanna say something like. So many riders left Dark Moon that the Weyr more or less collapsed due to lack of people? Everyone eventually transferred to other Weyrs and stayed there for a bit but there's a rumor that a group of former Dark Moon'ers (Moonites? Moonians?) are returning to take back the Weyr?

Well since we only have 3-4 of the other members possibly coming back, I don't know that we'll be able to pick up where we left off.

A temporary collapse might work. We'll see what everyone else has to say. That idea might actually work though.

I figured it'd be an easy way for whoever wanted to come back to come back, have other characters that they don't want dissapear and it could explain any influx of candidates we have - they're curious about the rumors surrounding the Weyr.

The strain of sending their weyrlings into the past to grow, along with the lack of fully-trained personnel in the weyr caused a temporary collapse.

Now, however, Christae is back and rumor has it that the two young queens, now nearly mature, would be rising soon. The weyr had wisely staggered the two queenlets so that they would not be rising to mate at the same time. Christae and her people had been split into other weyrs but now Christae is back home and waiting to see who wants to make a go of restarting the weyr.

I think this works perfectly. It has enough detail that everyone knows what happened but it's also vague enough that newcomers don't have to worry about getting lost in the old plot too much and get confused. It explains the split of the Weyr, why everyone left, and offers the promise of future clutches. I like it~

We need to see if Mina wants to return. She has the silver queen. If not, the next to rise would be your Colvarinth Akki.

If Mina wants to return, we will plan a clutching/hatching around her queen. If not, you and I get to plot.

Transfer rider or candidate is fine. Your character once approved can say that he or she heard the rumors of DM opening up again and wanted to check the weyr out
