Notes on the first murder of Caspian
As written by Hester – Master Harper of Caspian, and detective on this case.
The murder occurred late in the hours of the night.
The victim was a drudge girl, named Perina. She was rumoured to be meeting a Dragon Rider Lover, (possibly thread of inquiry). The last person to see her was a cook, named Vitku (this raised no lines of inquiry), the young man was distraught to see his (presumably) best friend murdered the next morning, moved the body, disrupting the evidence.
The person to discover her was Lord Bynor, who called us all to aid. People who arrived on the scene included Fyg, Wher handler, Terwin, Lord’s Advisor and fellow detective, Saberia, head cook, along with myself, Hester, Lady Harper of Caspian.
The body received a deep wound to the clavicle, which should have severed the main arteries, from a kitchen knife. – Questioning Saberia on this one said she had never came across the knife being missing since the morning began, or in the recent past.
A Wher hide glove was found at the scene, we have put out a few threads of inquiry, but so many are worn, the clue is almost lost.
Upon questioning the Watch dragon, it was found that a few riders had been in the Hold of this last night. Further investigation as to their names would be pending. It would seem they weren’t overly familiar to the Watch dragon.
