Name: Krehlor
Age: 21
Gender: male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Rank: Harper
Appearance: The only thing standing between Krehlor and scrawniness is living in the Weyr. Being weyrfolk means you have to climb a lot of stairs and run across the weyrbowl with messages, so it keeps him fit, allowing for a slender rather than scrawny build. He has sharp, angular features. His eyes are a rather attractive deep green. His hair is dark brown, and it falls to his chin. He usually wears practical clothing, most often in Harper blue. He isn’t bad looking if you like that lithe look, but he isn’t really one to turn heads in a crowd.
Personality: Not exactly your typical jolly Harper. Simply put, Krehlor is a glass-half-empty kind of guy. Always on the gloomy side. A raincloud over his head...you get the picture. He’s a pessimist and a cynic. He believes that things will probably end up going the worst way possible. He usually copes with life with either grumpiness or dry humor.
One of his better traits is his fierce loyalty for anything that manages to actually win his affection. He is hopelessly devoted to his craft (married to it, spurned suitors would say), and he practices endlessly and meticulously. Thought not necessarily conservative, he is straight-laced, and tries to avoid meaningless excesses, whether they be in wine, women, or inane conversation.
History: rehlor was born in Delesia Hold. His mother was a young, unmarried woman who had a one-night stand with a randy dragonrider. The pregnancy was seen as illegitimate, and Krehlor was raised by his great aunt and uncle who often took in foster children. Most of his foster siblings were several turns older than him, and he was almost treated like an only child, although he also had the benefit of older siblings. From a young age, he showed a proficiency for music, both singing and playing. He was attentive in his Harper lessons and was a star student. He was so studious that the other children teased him, and he was a bit of a loner.
At age 12, he was accepted into the Harper Hall as an apprentice. He was delighted to be a real Harper and threw himself into his studies even more. He was a diligent worker, and became a skilled vocalist and composer for his level. At age eighteen, he was promoted to journeyman level.
As a journeyman, he was sent to Hadi Weyr to train with the Weyrharper there. Perhaps because of his dragonrider blood, he loved the Weyr and settled easily into his new home.
Pets: none
Dragon/Wher: I would like for him to be considered for a Stands Impression if possible.
