The stranger had been watching Veran for quite some time. It had bought two new knives and a mahogney case and a sharpening stone. It opened up a box and put the two knives in very carefully and the sharpening stone in the box and place it on the doorstep. It knocked on his doorsep and left.

Veran opened the door and saw the box. He carefully opened it and was more then pleasently surprised. He examined the knives and the case and loved them. The stone was just what he needed. WHoever left it had his thanks.
