“I get flailing limbs when tickled.” She warned. At least this way if he ever tickled her and her arm accidentally hit him, R’fael had no one to blame but himself. She’d have to remember to keep all her ticklish parts away from R’fael. Her ribs would be tickled by no man! Mostly because she’d probably make some weird squealing noise, would be embarrassed by it and have no choice but to beat that man until he forgot.
“I don’t need to specify, you’re just never subtle.” She snickered as his fingers moved slowly around her lips. It was pretty obvious that R’fael wasn’t the type of go to try and use hidden pick up lines. After all, he had simply offered himself up yesterday. Bonus points for him for pulling such a bold move and getting away with it.
“Soft spot for rolls? I’ll tease you about that also.” She laughed, hands once again in her hair as they untangled the knots. She raised an eyebrow at his last question, one side of her mouth pulling up into a smirk. “Is this where I say no and give you the perfect set up to say ‘Well I can change that’ Admin's Note:[/hr]” She snickered slightly and shook her head, “Because I’m perfectly not sore at all.”
It seemed almost like a lie since there were a few bruises on her but she actually was quite comfy. It took quite a bit for her to get all sore thankfully.

"Flailing limbs are no match for my muscles," he teased, kissing her temple softly and nuzzling into her soft hair. She smelled good, despite their activities. It was a strange thought and he shook it off, one eyebrow arching in a habitual habit.
"I find that it leaves to many misinterpretations," he murmured softly, tracing patterns over her hand with a finger. "If you want something, why not say so? That way you can get what you want or need without beating 'round the bush and getting all sorts of confused." He smiled up at her, eyes seeming to smolder softly. "Then again, sometimes it is nice to play that sort of game sometimes."
He smirked softly, laughing as he took her mouth in a quick, hard kiss that jolted his system. He wanted to touch her again. Despite their night together, he wanted to touch her all over again and see if his memory had been wrong. He certainly hoped not. "It's too bad you're not," he teased, lips buzzing against hers. "I was going to offer to give you a massage and everything."
There was a rumble and a rattle from the food shaft. R'fael stood, pulling from her regretfully. His eyes sparkled as he leaned forward to kiss her forehead gently. "Be right back, darling. Food's here." He laughed, giving one of her hands a light squeeze as he trotted out to grab the tray. He returned just a few moments later, tray in hand. He slid onto the couch, moving to lean back against the headboard. He placed the tray carefully in the center, trying not to jostle it. He picked up a mug and poured her a glass of cold, clear water. He handed it to her with a grin. "Here you are, my dear."

“I don’t think anything is a match for your muscles.” She said softly with a grin and a wink. She had noticed beforehand that the man was quite in shape. Not that gross muscles upon muscle shape either – that was a turn off in her opinion. R’fael was practically…perfection? Hmm. Better not tell him that, though he probably was aware of it.
“I’m a master at that game.” Okay, maybe not – change that to definitely not. She wasn’t subtle, she was loud and obnoxious until the person did what she wanted. Call her a prima donna, but it worked. On a fair number of occasions she had hooked up with someone only to disappear the next morning, pretending that it never happened. R’fael was in luck so far though, she hadn’t snuck off like he originally thought she was doing. “One day I’d like to see you play that game.” A R’fael that didn’t place kisses on her, call her pet names but asked for what he wanted in a hidden way.
She leaned into the kiss for a moment before he pulled away. “Is it too late to change my answer to sore then?” She laughed softly, watching as he gracefully loped towards the tray of liquids and goodies.
She pulled herself onto the couch a bit more, crossing her legs as she accepted the mug of water. She took a small sip and sighed with content, “I should not be this happy about water.” It felt nice though. She hadn’t had anything to drink since before all the shenanigans, so it was rather refreshing. “Simple pleasures are sometimes the best ones.”

R'fael chortled, his laughter rich and soft. "But of course!" he teased. A light smile crossed his face as he flexed, revealing that he was indeed rather equipped. He flicked a bicept and shrugged. "They're impenetrable." Another laugh.
"Really? A master, eh?" His lips were pursed in a struggle to not smile, to not laugh. He found he'd been doing that a lot of late. He was much more relaxed, much more open. Still, the situation sometimes demanded for a face of seriousness. "Well, perhaps that game can be played."
He didn't have to fight the laughter this time. Head shook from side to side as he chuckled. "Mmm. I figured you'd want to change your answer." He shrugged lightly. "Perhaps I can aide you. Perhaps not." He reached for the juice and poured himself a cupful. He also reached for a sweet roll, biting into it. By the way his eyes rolled and the happy sound he made, he was enjoying it.
Once he'd washed down his mouthful, he nodded eagerly. "Oh, believe me, my lady blue. I know exactly what you mean." He grinned as he sipped at his juice and took another bite of his roll, simply watching her now. There seemed to be naughty thoughts brewing in those chocolate eyes of his.

“But they don’t stand up against my pipes.” Akki grinned, lifting her arms and flexed. There was nothing to flex there really. She had slight muscles, the ones that most female riders had but really nothing to brag about. Chicken arms; that was what they were. It was an embarrassing comparison, her arms against R’fael’s. Ah, oh well.
Akki frowned, her nose scrunching up slightly. “I think I’d lose against you actually. I’m at a disadvantage – did you know that it’s really unfair that you’re good at everything you do?” She huffed, sticking her tongue out slightly at him. He was new to the Weyr and already seemed to fit in perfectly! She took another long sip from her water before placing the mug down.
“I’ll do you if you do me.” She snickered, referring to the massages. She hooked her fingers and stretched her arms, almost gagging when they cracked. She had forgotten about that grotesque sound they made.
“But first tell me, anyone catch your eye at the Weyr?” She asked with genuine curiosity. They might have hooked up but the bluerider still found it hard to believe that this man was all for the crude humored ladies. There must be others out there in the Weyr that had caught his attention and she wanted to know the dirty details – like always. “A bootylicious drudge perhaps?” She grinned, a sad attempt at coaxing some answers out of him.

"Ooooh, I definitely do not stand a chance against those," he teased, placating her little joke. "They're like cannons. I don't think anyone would ever want to get in a fight with you lugging these around." He pinched the slightly raised bump on one arm, making an appropriately awed face.
Brows rise, his face bland. R'fael almost looked confused, though he pulled it off rather elegantly. "Good at everything?" he asked her and then comprehension seemed to dawn. He laughed, becoming a living and breathing picture of perfection as his amusement drew on. "You think I'm good at everything? Oh, Akki, please, darling, don't joke about such things. You'll hurt my ego."
Eyes rolled, his laughter turning darker and richer within a half-second. Talk about a quick change of mine. "That is an offer I will accept." His smile was perfectly harmless but his eyes were wicked, mischievous, seeming to relay even darker thoughts than those that were present. He pulled back, the darkness and dirtiness disappearing. He looked perfectly bland once more, but there was something lurking in his eyes, something in the lines of his mouth that betrayed some sort of nervousness he was trying to hide.
"Anyone catch my eye? Hmm. I've noticed a few people but there's nothing too spectacular and I haven't done anything about it." Liar, liar, pants on fire. "A bootylicious drudge?" He laughed at the image in his head before it was shaking. "No, I'm sorry. It's like I told you, I'm rather boring." Oh, was he going to be in trouble when she found out his dirty secret. A secret in the form or a crimson-haired, amber-eyed, quick-mouthed brown weyrling who had a tendency of mouthing off to authority figures.

Akki sighed happily, patting one of her ‘bulging muscles’. “Few people do stand a chance against them. I was born this way, extremely strong.” She said with a crooked grin and a bob of her head. The fact that a guy could easily scoop her up and throw her around clearly proved that she wasn’t very muscular. Not that anyone actually thought of her as that anyways.
“Your ego needs a little bruising R’fael, maybe to prove that you’re not the picture of perfection?” She suggested with a laugh. It really wasn’t fair to the other people at Dark Moon. This man seemed to have the looks and the personality – no one stood a chance up against him. Ahhh, some people just had all the luck. She thought with a small shake of her head. It was probably good there was no one else like R’fael out there – Pern probably wouldn’t be able to handle such a thing.
“Come here then.” She said, patting the spot in front of her. She wrapped her fingers around his shoulders, kneading slightly. It sounded lame but when she was a young girl she would often do this for her mom after a long day. Akki tried to help out with the chores to make things easier but normally just made a bigger mess so this seemed like a pretty decent way to help her mom out. “My fingers have talent.” She laughed, drumming them against his shoulders for a moment before going to make to moving her thumb in a circular motion.
“Only the first one is free though R’fael. After this you have to start paying.” She warned.
“Oh come on R’fael! Go find yourself a bootylicious drudge.” She scolded. He had found someone bootylicious, he just wasn’t a drudge. One had to wonder what her reaction would be like when she eventually found out about him and Ez. “I think you’re an oh so fascinating guy.” She grinned. It sounded almost sarcastic but she did in fact mean it. She never met a guy like him before, like she took note of a bit ago.

Eyes rolled and he waved one hand in a fobbing off gesture, trying to get her to stop. "No, no. Stop it. You're going to bruise my ego by insisting that I'm without wrong." He grinned. "We both know that I'm a god, darling. Any attempt at comparing me with a mortal just offends." He winked, clearly jesting and having a fabulous time doing so.
R'fael made his way to sit in front of the blue rider. He'd been planning on giving her the massage first and maybe skipping his in favor of some other activities but he didn't mind this. He didn't mind it one bit. As soon as her hands descended, he sighed, feeling tension and stress leaving at the motion of fingers and hands. When he spoke, his voice was low and soft, nearly as rich as caramel. "Your fingers had a talent long before this. And I would willingly sell my soul to get another one of these from you. You're amazing..." She seemed to be magicking away all of the stress that had gathered in his muscles.
"Well, you might be one of the only people to think I'm fascinating. Everyone else thinks I'm about as fascinating as a stick in the mud." He laughed quietly. "Mmmmm. Can you go a little lower, darling? Just to the left? There's a knot there that I would appreciate having your fabulous fingers work out..."

“A man so great, conversing with – a mere mortal.” She said with a dreamy sigh, fluttering her eyelashes. “I’m one lucky gal.” She breathed in a ditzy, airy voice. Faranth, she was so glad she didn’t talk like that. She would probably hate herself if she did! The bluerider was quite glad that R’fael was so relaxed, not minding her incessant jabbering.
Quite a few people couldn’t put up with her for more than a few minutes.
“I would do this to my parents in order to convince them to lend me a few marks.” She admitted with a loud laugh. If there was a pretty gown she wanted, she would simply snuggle up to her parents and massage them. With a bit of luck and sugar coated words, she’d be twirling around in a new dress. “I was a conniving kid.” She grinned. She was still conniving of course, that trait would stick with all of her life.
“And yes, I am pretty amazing.”
She rolled her eyes. There was no way anyone could think of him as a stick in the mud. “Maybe you forgot to turn your charm off?” She suggested as she followed his directions, moving her hands to the lower left side. Her thumbs continued in the circular motion as her knuckles slowly moved up and down against his muscles. Turns of practice made perfect it would seem.

His laughter was soft and hushed, rich with his diversion. "Yes, you know us gods. We don't converse with mere mortals very often. So you, my lady blue, are very, very lucky." His smile was crooked before he laughed, eyes crinkling. "Shards, I'm glad it's not really like that! There wouldn't be much fun to be had at all."
Another rich laugh left him as he swiveled slightly to look at her from the very corner of his eye. "Oh, I think that every one was conniving when they were a child. It was the only way you ever got anything." He turned back to face forward. Now, he just saw the mess he'd made as he'd whisked her onto his couch the night before. That would need cleaning. For now, it could wait. "Though, I do appreciate your methods. I just did extra work about the house. It was much more difficult."
He thought of his family briefly. He thought of how much grief he'd caused them. And, he hoped, some small part of joy before they'd parted. Although he'd been one of four children, it was only his parents who had come to see him when he Impressed. It was only his parents who made any attempts at keeping in contact, though even that had faltered as of late.
"So you're saying that it's when I'm--mmm, right there, right there, that feels so good--you're saying that when I'm trying to be charming, I'm a stick in a mud?" Quiet laughter rippled in his voice before he made another little incoherent noise of pleasure. She really did have amazing hands.

“I’m in complete agreement.” She laughed. “Though I am still pretty lucky.” She added, as if an afterthought. If she had met someone who actually referred to themselves as some higher being, she’d probably feel the uncontrollable urge to hit them. In the neck.
Once again, the crooked smile appeared. “I was a smart kid then you were.” She snorted. She was definitely not a smart child, the working her parents for marks was probably the only intelligent thing she could do. Akki normally was told just to sit at the table and observe – there was less chance for an accident then. “It wasn’t my fault that I fell in love with some dresses that were too expensive for me to get by myself.” She sighed wistfully.
“Oops.” She blinked. “Did I say off? I meant on. I was distracted by your chiseled good looks.” She grinned. There, that was a pretty good cover up…right? She just wasn’t so good with words. She fell silent for a minute or two, concentrating on moving her fingers correctly. She let her hands drop finally and sighed. “Is it sad that my hands hurt from that?” She laughed, though this laugh seemed to tinged with slight disappointment.
“I think that means I’m getting old.” She groaned. She would be getting gray hairs next! The thought horrified her.

He felt a quiet sense of happiness invade him for the words she issued so readily. He found that her words kindled a soft fire in him. It was no ego-pumping, it was not something like that. He just found it very nice, even if she was wrong. "As long as you think so," he murmured.
"Yes, yes. It does appear that you were smarter than me." He chuckled lightly. He'd gone around for hours, maybe even days, cleaning and straightening things, taking over more of the chores so he could go into the Hold proper, so he could get something he wanted. "Dresses? My dear Akki, I don't think I'd ever imagine seeing you in a dress." Though it was a sight he'd like to see. A sight he'd like to see very much.
"Yes, well. It happens," he replied airily and then snickered. He wasn't a master at being cocky at all. He liked being quiet and unassuming. He didn't find it necessary to trumpet about his good looks or his accomplishments. He didn't want a woman who was drawn to a man like that. But joking about it was just fine. "Well, I'm glad you think I'm charming at least, though I hope it's not in the sleazy, overbearing way. I've heard your kind doesn't much like that."
He sighed as they settled into the massage and then she was done. He felt loose and warm. He felt like a new man. R'fael turned, picking up the blue rider's hands. He kissed her palms, small warm. "No, I don't think it's sad at all. These beautiful hands performed magic today." He kissed her palms again and then shook his head, lips pursed as he tried not to smile. "Old? Darling, you're spry as a young chicken. Don't you dare mention old."

“Are you calling me a liar?” She asked with a crooked eyebrow. She did, in fact, consider herself pretty lucky. And not simply because the man she had gotten together with was practically perfection. That was most of it but there was also the fact that she was lucky in the sense that she came here to snoop for just a bit and instead stayed for longer.
She patted his shoulder comfortingly, “My intelligence went away as I grew up so you’re probably smarter than me now.” It was sad because this statement was probably true. As a child, she was pretty smart – sucking up to people, getting what she wanted. Now she often found herself in trouble or in rather stupid situations.
She wasn’t growing up, she was growing down.
She grimaced, “I try to avoid dresses now. I’m pale like a wherhandler.” No matter how long she was outside with Ebbeth, Rukbat’s rays just never turned her skin into a soft golden color. She was as white as Ruth, something that she was begrudgingly accepting. Her brother could spend just a few minutes outside and have his skin be a light brown – genetics were cruel to Akki.
She tapped a finger against her lip, thinking. “We don’t? Because I’m totally in to the sleazy guys.” She said with a few nods, her lips turning into a smile as she continued, “And when they’re overbearing also? I’m smitten.” Haha, as if. It was well known that the bluerider wasn’t a fan over overwhelming guys – she liked space, she didn’t need some guy trying to dictate her life. And no one liked sleazy guys…which seemed almost ironic considering that she was rather vulgar herself.
She shook her head, blonde hair flying up for a moment before settling back done. “Just wait,” She warned, “Next time you see me I’ll be covered in gray hairs and wrinkles.” Akki had a fear of growing old, there was something about it that simply frightened her. “Did you call my hands beautiful? That’s quite possibly the weirdest compliment I’ve ever gone.”
That was a lie actually. A guy once complimented Akki by informing her that her nose was straight. How odd.

“Not a liar at all.” Head shook, the light smile on his face. “That’s the way you think it in your opinion. I just disagree.” He still looked like he was letting her in on a private joke, his eyes alight, his smile disarming and soft. Perfect indeed!
“Oh.” He made a scoffing sound, head shaking in denial of what she was telling him. “I doubt that, dear. You’re the smarter one here. You came to say hello and ended up spending the night. Free meals included.” He laughed, stroking her face. “Nothing smarter than that.” R’fael did not like when people put themselves down, joke or not. And Akki seemed to do that a lot. “Nonetheless.” He grinned, dispelling the thoughts he’d just had. “I think I’d like to see you in a dress. I’m tan enough for the both of us.” A laugh. “So it’s good that you think yourself so pale.”
Eyes rolled, the brown rider’s handsome face crinkling into a look of bemusement. “If you’re so into that, why are you with me?” He winked, taking hold of her hand. “Because I am not sleazy.” He pressed a soft kiss to her wrist. “Nor overbearing.” Another kiss, trailing up the underside of her forearm. “And I doubt I ever will be.” He grinned up at her, releasing her arm.
“That would take Turns up Turns, darling.” He brushed fingers through her hair and nodded. “Well, I’m glad I’m first at something but that’s not the point. You’re beautiful and young and lithe and incredibly sexy.” He kissed her cheek, his own sliding along hers as he whispered in her ear. “Simply because you’re your own woman.” He smiled pulling back and kissed her softly. “Now. Lie down on your stomach on the bed,” he instructed. “It’s your turn for your massage.” His eyes were wicked as he watched her, waiting for her to follow his directions.
