Another grimace flashed across her features. “Dancing doesn’t make me feel better. I’m a wretched dancer.” While she liked doing it, she knew she looked like a fool. Oh well, at least there would be alcohol afterwards to cheer her up. That definitely made her feel better.
R’fael was a charmer, that was for sure. He practically exuded confidence – no wonder the drudges wanted information on him. Most guys would pretend to be like this but would chicken out eventually, awkward laughter covering their trail. She had a feeling that no awkward laughter would be coming out of R’fael though. How had no one swept him up already?
Little did she know that someone had and that was one of the reasons why he was so bold at that moment.
“Oh, I’m pretty sure I know how to ask for that also.” She grinned, resting her wine glass on the table. Like R’fael, she was no longer wanted just the food. Apparently this was how she introduced herself to guys after all. Q’sin at the flight and now this. She leaned over the table, careful to make sure she wasn’t sticking her hand in any food or knocking anything down. Within seconds, her lips were once again pressed against R’faels before she leaned back a bit.
“See?”

R'fael looked scandalized. "A woman who doesn't like dancing?" He shook his head and tsked. "That just isn't acceptable. That isn't acceptable at all, darling." The endearments sprang from his lips easily and well, with little thought. He didn't have to think about them at all. They just came at the right time...or the wrong time in some instances.
Oh well.
R'fael's brows rose at the blue rider's words and he grinned, anticipation evident. He picked up his wine glass and took a sip before she seemed to slither across the table. Mouths met and hunger rose, a carnal hunger that he hadn't sated since...a very fateful night sevendays gone.
He made a soft little growl as she pulled back. When dark eyes met hers, they were even darker, seeming to be melted chocolate that was setting. But rather than milk chocolate, they were dark now. Dark and hungry. "Mmhmm. I do see," he murmured. A hand rose, gripping the neck of her shirt gently but surely. She couldn't pull away without tearing her shirt. "Come here," he growled.
R'fael pulled Akki closer, mouth connecting with hers once more in a kiss much longer and more potent than their previous had been. He growled low in his throat, tugging her closer via her shirt before he released her, his head falling back just a bit, enough that he could speak, his lips nearly touching hers. "You taste delicious," he murmured. "And you can take that as flattery or not."

“You’ll learn soon enough that I’m not the acceptable type.” Akki whispered back, a small smirk on her lips. If you asked around about Akki, you would figure out soon enough that she was no ‘lady’. Shards, could she even be considered socially acceptable? Actually she probably didn’t want to know the answer to that one – ignorance is bliss after all, right?
”I’m not exactly the subtle type.” She admitted, not that it was a secret. The hand on her shirt seemed almost unnecessary but she said nothing about it; she had no intentions of pulling away. But hey, whatever floated his boat. She let herself be pulled back in, a hint of a smile as her eyes seemed to glimmer mischievously. She gave R’fael credit though; the man knew how to charm a girl.
And he knew how to keep her attention.
She let her hand wrap around the back of his neck for a moment, dropping it as he released her. Hair fell in front of her face for a moment before she moved it out the way. Personal bubbles didn’t exist; they were about a millimeter apart. “You are delicious.” She grinned coyly, ”Take that as flattery or not.”
One could only hope that brother dear didn’t hear about this little escapade.

"Maybe I don't want an acceptable woman," he challenged back, voice just as soft and low. "Maybe I want the rebel, darling, did you think of that?" A dark brow rose, a smirk half-pulling at his lips. Something sparkled in his eyes, deeper than humor, darker than amusement. It was much different. It was something primal, somethin that had been awoken in him.
He only laughed at her comment about subtlety. He knew she wasn't subtle. He knew and accepted it, relished it. He didn't want anything subtle, he didn't want something that was hidden. He wanted bold, brash, in your face. She fit the bill perfectly. He felt like a cat that had got into the cream.
The feeling of her hand on his skin was nearly electric. Lips curved into a smile to match her own. "I'll take it whatever it is," he murmured. A hand rose to scoop at the nape of her neck, twisting in her hair. His other arm came about her waist and he suddenly kicked the table aside. It fell with a band and a crash. He dragged her into him, setting her into his lap--thank Faranth for having armless chairs. He grinned, eyes sparkling and leaned forward to tease her lips with his. "There," he purred. "That's better."

“You definitely managed to catch the rebel.” She murmured. Faranth, this was such a change from what she had gotten accustomed too. She was used to R’xis’ naïve nature, his nervousness about going too fast. R’fael had no problem with moving fast, he had no problem about beating around the bush.
She missed that.
It was odd how things turned out. Especially this. She had come with intentions of simply snooping – finding out about likes and dislikes; the usual information that she got from everyone. R’fael was a good looking guy, she had thought that as soon as he appeared in front of her, and she never thought that they would end up in a situation quite like this. Apparently the meal had become something else.
She was also eternally grateful that she had lost a bit of weight the past turn. Nothing would kill the mood more like having a guy swoop you up, only to let you go because you were too heavy. The table she had been leaning on was suddenly gone, an arm wrapped around her waist before she was pulled into his lap. That was much nicer than sitting in a chair. She let her arms drape around his shoulders for a second before hooking them behind his neck, leaning in as she placed a kiss on the corner of his lips.
”Much, much better.” Her words were soft but held obvious pleasure.

R'fael certainly had not been expecting this. He'd been expecting to have a quiet day, maybe clean things up a little and give Keirath a bath that the brown needed desperately. As it was, he was hardly disappointed by the way things had turned out. Only a wherrybrain would be when they had a beautiful, warm, willing woman sitting in their lap.
The weight of her in his lap was good, solid and filled him with a sort of tenderness. Being with a woman did that to him. It made him feel large and strong. It made him feel like a masculine protector. It was pure instinct but warmth radiated through him when her arms came about his neck. His lips twisted under his teasing and he chuckled.
"Good," he murmured. His arms wrapped about her waist, finding her slender, feminime for all that she said she wasn't. Hands cupped at the swell of her rear and then ran up and down the length of her back, feeling the warmth of skin beneath her shirt. He pressed her closer to him, feeling her slim curves against his hard muscles. Awareness jolted through him.
A soft sigh issued from his throat, his lips rubbing back and forth across hers. His hands traced patterns over her back before his hands dove into her hair, twisting about the fair strands. His head dipped as he pressed a kiss upon her, deep, delightful and thorough. Her taste infiltrated through him and he growled lowly. He certainly was not complaining in how today was turning out.

Being in R’fael’s lap was much different. All her other guys were small, thin. She often felt like more of the masculine one – this was a nice change.
A very nice change.
R’fael was definitely not a feminine man, oh Faranth no. Tall, muscular, gorgeous eyes. What more could a gal ask for? Not much. She could feel his fingers run up and down her back, every now and then running along her spine. Saying it was a nice feeling would be an understatement. One of her hands moved, sliding down and then slipping underneath his shirt. It seems she could also tell the drudges that he was also a good kisser when she delivered the details about him to them. Or maybe she would keep this one to herself. Maybe.
A few more kisses between them before she pulled her lips away, moving them towards his ear. “Welcome to the Weyr.” She whispered softly, a smile in her voice as she planted a small kiss on his jawline before moving back to his lips.
Now this was a welcome wagon.

Her palm was small and cool against his skin when he felt it. A ripple of humor ran through him--wasn't he supposed to be feeling her up?--but it was quickly gone as he felt her soft lips against his mouth. He murmured softly as she pulled away, his words too incoherent to tell if he was pleased or upset for her pulling away.
A shudder ran through his tall body as he felt her mouth against his ear. He laughed, low and delighted, once he'd heard her words. Welcome indeed! This was by far the best welcome he'd ever received in all his Turns. Mouths met and connected again; the heat ran through him, molten within his blood. Oh, she tasted fabulous...
He pulled back from her, tracing a line of kisses down her throat and back up to her temple. She was so different from women he was used to. He was used to the sweet ones, the ones who knew what was in store for them and knew that there would be no future. He liked them short and soft. Akki...she was the very opposite of that. Faranth, he liked it.
R'fael stood, pulling her legs about his waist. His mouth inched back from her, dark eyes tracking over her face, looking for signs of how she was feeling. He watched her for a few moments, holding her easily, not even realizing her weight. "Tell me what you want to do here," he murmured. "I, personally, would like to take this to somewhere more private. My couch in the bedroom for example. However, it's your choice, baby. So tell me," he purred, teasing her lips with a light kiss.

If she ever wanted to deny her rather…inappropriately rash behaviors around the Weyr, it was no longer possible. There really wasn’t any way she could justify this. Not that she really wanted too, she was hooking up with a good looking man. Shards and shells to inappropriately rash behaviors; sometimes they just felt good.
R’fael was so straight forward, something that Akki appreciated. She wasn’t a fan of the awkward bumbling as a guy tried to flirt with you. It made both people feel horribly socially awkward. R’fael just put the offer out there and probably already knew the answer he was going to get. Who could really say no to this golden skinned man? Certainly not this Blondie. Her legs were now more or less wrapped around his waist, one arm still wrapped around his neck almost casually.
”I’m sure you already know my answer.” She replied with half closed eyes, the long coy smile still on her face. She lightly kissed him back and nodded slightly in the direction of his couch.
Little did she know that when she returned back to the drudges the next day, she would receive a little tidbit of information. That tidbit being the brownrider hooking up with a long haired red head. Now that was scandalous.

R'fael smiled almost sleepily, his eyes dark and deep. He would have framed her face with one large, elegant hand but wasn't quite sure he wanted to risk her falling in the process. So refrain he did. "Mmm. I think I do know."
Another smile graced the brown rider's handsome features as he nuzzled against Akki's neck, nipping her lightly, just shy of hard enough to mark her. He wasn't sure how she would react about that--so it'd be best if he did it somewhere others didn't normally see in public.
R'fael backed slowly into his bedroom, still holding onto the blue rider. He kissed her slowly, softly, as he lowered her onto the furs. He pulled back from her, a smile curling at his lips. "Lady, start your engine," he whispered.
Initiate awesome blackout scene.

Awesome blackout scene indeed
Akki lifted a hand to slowly rub her eyes before cracking them open slightly, light blinding her for a moment. Ackpthh. Light was not fun when you were just waking up. It was so tempting just to close her eyes and go back to sleep but she knew that wouldn’t solve anything. She continued to slowly open her eyes, letting them adjust. Finally they were wide open and no longer tearing up from the brightness.
Hooking up with someone was so much different when you weren’t under dragonlust. You could actually remember what happened. It was fairly refreshing, to be honest. She looked around the room – the table was still on its side, food all over the ground, clothes littered around the bed. She moved slowly, not wanting to wake up R’fael. She looked down at her body, a slight frown on her lips. There were a few bruises on her body, some in the shape of finger prints while a few were on her collarbone.
Not that she regretted anything. It was fun. A large grin slowly replaced her frown. Oh yes, it was fun alright. She bent down, scooping up a shirt before throwing it back down. It was too big to be hers. Finally her hands grasped the right one and she slipped it over her head. She glanced back at R’fael before going back to looking for her pants.
Shard that man. He even looked good when sleeping.

R'fael was aware of movement around him but was much too content and lazy to investigate. It had to be benign or else Keirath would have alerted him. He mumbled something, rolling over to his side, pulling sheets and furs over his head to block out the light that sought to infiltrate his power sleep.
And what a sleep it had been!
R'fael turned onto his back and sat up, sheets and furs pooling about his tanned waist. He yawned, muscled arms stretching over his head before he rubbed the sleep from his eyes, looking much too like a young child waking from a nap.
Memories tumbled through his head and his hands dropped into his lap. His eyes opened, immediately seeing a woman clad only in a shirt searching for her trousers. R'fael watched for a few moments, soft smile on his face as he enjoyed the sight. He stood after that little section of time, dragging a thin cotton sheet with him. He wrapped it loosely about his waist and stepped forward, fingers wrapping gently about her wrist.
"Don't tell me you're sneaking off," he murmured, voice deep and husky from sleep. He dragged her closer, into him, and bent to kiss her deeply. He pulled back then, smiling softly, gently. He looked like an angel just roused from his slumber. "Good morning."

She was practically zoned out. The bluerider was too caught up in trying to figure out if those were her pants or just a shirt that was thrown in a pile. Why were clothes so confusing?
It took her a moment to feel the fingers wrap around her wrist and her shoulders rose slightly in surprise. She thought R’fael was still asleep but apparently not. She left herself be drawn close to him, another kiss planted on her lips. She smiled into the kiss and pulled away, “Sneaking away? Nope. Looking for some pants? Perhaps.” She reached and pulled the hem of her shirt down a bit more, just so it covered a bit of her thighs. It almost seemed pointless considering what had happened before.
”You know it’s not fair that you have some handsome bedhead look going on.” She said with slight disapproval, pretend of course, in her voice. No doubt her hair was all over the place, while his looked carefully mussed. Some people just had all the luck.
She sat back down, grinning at the brownrider. “Glad you came to Dark Moon then?”

His head cocked, his good mood evident as he smiled lightly. "And why would you need trousers, darling? I think you look well enough in your shirt. You'd look even better in mine." Another sweet smile as his fingers skimmed just under the hem of her shirt, barely brushing her skin.
Brows rose and he chuckled. "Advantages of having shorter hair, my lady blue rider." His hand rose to brush her hair now, settling it more in place. It was true, it had been rather all over the place. He blamed himself for that, not his couch. "There. Yours looks enviable now." He winked and watched the woman sit. His thoughts were drifting and he made a soft noise at her question.
"Hmm? Oh, yes, I am. I was before but now? I simply adore it." Thumb brushed across her cheek, his skin much darker in comparison to hers. Oh, genetics. He smiled slightly, leaning forward to brush an electric kiss over her mouth. "Would you like something to eat or drink? I can pick up the table and the remnants of last night so we may eat like civilized people." Another laugh, but this was darker, throaty. "Or we could just eat in bed..." He deepened the contact now, lips pressing firm to hers.

She laughed, moving away slightly as he lightly brushed her skin. “I guess I forgot to tell you that I’m ticklish.” She snickered, goose bumps rising up on her skin where he touched her. She shrugged, “Fair enough. I can’t find my trousers anyways.” Plus it wasn’t like R’fael hadn’t seen everything already.
”A good looking guy and a gentleman? Well who would have guessed.” She grinned as she paused for a moment, letting his hand comb her hair for a second so it would flatten down a bit. She patted the top of her head, smoothing the blonde hair. Hopefully now she looked a wee bit more presentable now, she hated the idea of having to face this gorgeous guy when she was looking all sloppy. Not that he seemed to mind though.
”I’m glad.” She snickered as she bent down and placed a light kiss on his neck. “I’ll take something to drink. And you’re in luck; the klah must be absolutely freezing by now.” Another crooked grin flashed on her lips. She was definitely going to tease him about that for a while. She waved away the table, “I like it better when it’s down anyways. It makes your weyr look messier.” She kissed back slightly when he pressed his lips against hers once more.
Thoughts flashed to Ebbeth for a second. Oops. She told her blue that she was just going to pop by the brownrider’s weyr for just a wee bit. She was definitely there for more than a wee bit. She prodded the blue’s thoughts only to find him asleep. Good.

"Ticklish?" A wry smile twisted at his mouth and he laughed softly. "Well, who would have guessed?" He would not have guessed so before last night, but he knew now. He definitely knew now. Akki was very ticklish and she made the most interesting noises when tickled.
A light shrug rippled at his shoulders, the smile curling at his lips, pleased and soft. "Who would have guessed indeed," he murmured. He liked looking at her when she was slightly messy and sloppy. It reminded him of last night and made him rather pleased. He liked it a lot...
R'fael murmured softly as she kissed at the sensitive skin of his neck. "Mmhmm. I guess the klah will be freezing, won't it?" He chuckled quietly. "And if the mess makes you happy, so be it. I'll leave it. And get you something to drink." His fingers ran lightly through her hair, combing the fair strands with a natural ease. He'd never been one to be embarrassed about one-night stands. He wasn't even sure if this was going to be a one night stand.
"What would you like to drink, darling? Klah, juice, wine, water?" He shrugged, not about to mock her tastes. But he might tease her just a bit once the drink got here. They were just like that, he supposed. R'fael kissed her jaw lightly, not wanting to stop touching her.
You had fun last night, it seems. Keirath's mind voice was light and amused. R'fael laughed mentally. I did, son, I did. Well, I like Ebbeth's. She makes you happy. It may not last, but for the time being, I like it. I'm glad... R'fael sent the brown a wave of good-being and stood. The sheet hung white and loose about his tanned waist as he moved. He grinned at Akki, kissing her forehead lightly and then went out to make their order.
When he returned a few moments later, he was sheetless and glorious for it. "Sorry. Couldn't really walk with it on." He smiled sweetly and bent to pull on his trousers. He hitched them up, leaving them unzipped and unbuttoned as he sat beside the blue rider on his couch.

She frowned slightly and waggled at finger at the brownrider, “Don’t you go holding that against me.” The last thing she needed was being tickled at every opportunity. Then again, if she could hold his cold klah preference against him then he would probably tease her about this.
She stretched, raising her hands above her head before letting them fall down. She crinkled her nose when a small pop came from her shoulders. Gross. She hated that sound, especially when people cracked their knuckles. She slouched slightly, arms dangling between her legs. She could practically picture herself – pale skin from the morning, hair going everywhere and a wrinkled shirt. Mornings were not her thing, could you tell?
”I’d say wine but I have the feeling I would regret that decision, so just water for me.” She said with a grin as he ran his fingers through her hair and gently kissed her jaw. Even early he was still the charmer. She had to wonder about what would happen when Ebbeth awoke. Dissaproving words or a nonchalant attitude? Ah, oh well. She’d figure it out sooner or later.
She watched as he went to go order the drinks, once again pulling down the hem of her shirt. It just never seemed to be long enough. She laughed when he came back, the sheet suddenly missing. “At least it’s nothing I haven’t seen before.” She grinned as he sat down beside her. She motioned between them, “Put us together and you got a whole outfit.”
Someone with only a shirt, the other with only trousers.

"Me? Hold something against someone?" A brow rose as he snickered, head shaking from side to side. "Now, why in the world would do that?" His eyes crinkled playfully as he cupped her cheek. She had the klah against him, he had the tickling. Fair and square, in his mind.
R'fael watched as the blue rider stretched, musing over some idea, though he wasn't sure how it would go down. His respect for her did rise though. After all that had happened in such a short time, she was still just as relaxed and easy-going as ever around him. Shards, but he loved it. He wasn't much for being awkward either.
The brown rider snickered, eyes rolling at her comment. He snagged her about the waist, leaning forward to casually seal his mouth over hers. He flicked her nose lightly and tutted. "But that's only if you put us together, darling. We might have to change that." He winked, nipping lightly at her chin and then released her. "I ordered water and juice as well as some rolls." He shrugged, eyes twinkling. "I thought we might end up being hungry after all."

“Because you are a mean, mean man that way.” She replied, grinning for a second before her mouth turned into a small ‘O’. A yawn escaped from her, a hand rising to cover her mouth for a moment. She let her hand rest in her lap, “I suppose it’s divine retribution though.”
Arms wrapped around her waist once again, more kisses feathering her mouth. “Aren’t you the subtle lad?” She snickered, placing a soft kiss on his cheek before she was released. “Rolls too? Now you’re just showing off.” She grinned, her hand reaching up behind R’fael’s neck so she could lightly play with his hair.
Actually she was secretly hoping to mess it up. It wasn’t fair that his hair looked carefully styled to be messy while hers look like a dragon tried to beat her in her sleep.
He doesn’t know what he’s getting into, does he? Oops. Ebbeth was awake. I don’t know what you mean. I’m sure. His voice was tinged with a parental scolding and amusement.
“I do like how you plan ahead though.” She grinned, leaning in and straightening slightly so she could place a light kiss on his jaw line once again. She went back to her slouching position, casting a glance around the room. Clothes, sheets, knocked over chairs and tables, food all littered the ground. “I think we made a mess.”

He snickered lightly, dark eyes rolling. "Divine retribution, karma, whatever it is you want to call it. It simply is and that, my dear, is how we will leave it to be." He smiled gently and winked. "You just have to allow me to tickle you when you're irksome or else it's not worth the knowledge at all."
"Subtle? Me?" His noise wrinkled as he chuckled, murmuring softly. "I've no idea what I'm being subtle about darling or else I could tell you if I was or not." He ran his fingers down her cheek, his index tracing the outline of her lips. The feeling of her playing with his hair made him shudder lightly, grinning.
"I do like to plan ahead," he murmured lowly. "And I've always had a bit of a soft spot for rolls in the morning." He sighed softly, head coming over hers as he looked about the wreck his spotless weyr had become. "Ah well. I don't mind at the moment." A light shrug as he rubbed her back lightly. "Are you feeling sore at all?" he asked, question absentminded.
