Mine is confused becuase he was always taught that talking like both Yours are was im... his eyes whirled a bit at the new word, improper to do around a lady, but neither of Yours seem to care.
J'kiran straightened up a bit when Kira leaned in to whisper into his ear again, shifting his gaze over to her at her last words of 'thinking of it as protecting her'. He didn't verbally reply, but his expression turned to one of quiet resignation. It seemed he was to...'play along', in whatever strange game these two were playing. He wasn't entirely sure how well he would do.
When T'kal looked to him and commented, picked up on the fact that they were, it seemed, definitely playing some sort of game. He sighed and muttered, more to himself, "It seems to me she's not the only one." A few moments after that, Kira had gone through her own responses to T'kals bit of flowery-worded rambling. J'kiran turned his gaze to look to Kira (as much as he could, with her hanging on his shoulder) when she mentioned that he'd won the game. By now he had picked up on what was going on, though that was admittedly mostly because Kira had explained it to him in whispers. It didn't, however, mean that he was going to be very good at it so quickly. As such, when she said that he'd won the game, J'kiran found himself giving his eyes a small roll. "If all girls behave as you, Miss Kira, I don't believe I'll ever understand them."

"Harlot? Tsk, tsk, Kira. I didn't use that word, no did I? Should be careful, though," he said with a wink, "usually those who get defensive have something to be defensive about!" He grinned, and then shrugged and said with a smirk, "haven't you ever heard that you can't lose what you never had? You're but one fish in a sea of many, my dear. If another has you on his hook, who am I to deprive him of you?" He then made a very 'shocked' sort of gasp, and then replied, "hypocrisy is not very nice, Kira my pet. You claim I'm full of myself, but it is you who acts like I have lost something by not gaining your interests. I do not feel I have lost anything much, no not at all. I simply feel that J'kiran has gained something, and why should I feel any regret over that?" He grinned at J'kiran's comment, and then, "as I said, if you ever do come to your senses, you will see our dear friend is not even in this particular game, and perhaps will find yourself another player-maybe even myself? You'll never know if the game is fun or no unless you've even had the chance to play!" he said, frowning and shaking his head.
Sarcth meanwhile looked over at his in confusion. He had no clue what was going on, or why it should be improper. His seemed to be having much fun, that was all, and so, *fun is improper, Kaenith?* He was at a loss for why that would be. Fun was so...fun!

Kira only chuckled, clearly amused by T'kal. "Defensive, you say? Perhaps I got the wrong implication. But I am not defensive, dear T'kal", she said sweetly with a smile. "Have you lost something, I wonder? It is you who had come on to me while I was with another. But thankfully, my dear Jil is a gentleman in all aspects and did not take offense to your chivalry", she responded in turn.
But Kira moved on to a subject that now interested her even more. "Now I must wonder. Why did you wake us? We were quite tired after all. Was your reason in jest or did it hold greater importance?", she asked innocently enough.
I think it depends on the fun, but mine doesn't seem to have improper fun. Unless yours thinks differently, Kaenith? I'm sure mine would not like to make yours uncomfortable again.

Marletta had just finished feeding Issaeyith for the second time that day and was cleaning up the mess.
Mine, there are others by the lake, should we join?
I don’t know… Marletta bit her lip thinking for a minute.
Mine, it is no good to be by ourselves we need to make friends. So we are going. It’ll be fun.
Marletta hadn’t expected Issaeyith to be so commanding and was taken aback for a minute, “All right fine.” She said aloud. Issaeyith made an approving sound and began the walk to the lake her tail waving about behind her, completely out of her control. Marletta giggled at the little dragonet’s graceless gait but caught up with the green walking side by side with her. Issaeyith refused to tell the girl just who was at the lake; she wanted it to be a surprise. When they arrived Marletta caught sight of two boys and one girl, along with a copper, a bronze, and the lone white dragonet. She had met the rider of the copper at the Hatching Feast but she was not completely sure who the two boys were.
And you won’t know unless you ask. Come on, mine! Issaeyith surged ahead and spotted the girl, Kira, whispering something to one of the boys. This looks interesting. she said to her rider before speaking to the other dragonets, Hello, did I miss anything exciting?
Marletta made her way over to the three, she certainly looked more unsure about interrupting whatever was going on than Issaeyith. “Hello, do you mind if I join you?”

Kaenith thought on Sarcth's comment, looking over to Ayerith when she answered the white first. Mine is not uncomfortable right now, he assured the copper. Then, in answer to Sarcth, J'kiranmine doesn't think fun is improper at all! He says he just wasn't raised knowing that there was this sort of fun to be had, without being improper. Judging by the dazed out look that came across J'kiran's face every few moments, the bronze was certainly not coming up with these answers on his own.
At this point, the red-head seemed to be quite content with simply listening to T'kal and Kira exchange comments. He was standing where he'd been before with his arms folded loosely across his chest, apparently having also resigned himself to the fact that Kira was going to continue hanging off of him. If he hadn't know that her intentions were nothing past friendship, this likely would have made him a bit uncomfortable, but so long as those pretensions were understood...well, he certainly didn't want to throw the lady off of him. He'd already done enough damage letting her hit her head against the rock.
About that time the other two made their way out to the lake, and he instantly found himself hoping that this wouldn't trigger another set of misunderstandings and confusing conversations. The green dragon with the girl made her way quickly over to the other young dragons, and the girl came over - rather timidly, by the look of her posture - to the rest of the weyrlings. When she spoke he found himself a bit relieved that there was some normal conversation again, and he offered his usual warm smile in reply to her question. "Not at all," he said. "But you should be warned, these two are apparently playing at some sort of game."
Hello Issaeyith! Kaenith greeted the little green as she came to join them. The bronze looked over to the weyrlings at her question. I think it might have been exciting, but it was also very confusing.

T'kal sighed as if this whole matter were quite trouble some, and managed to keep an entirely straight face as he replied, "once again, there you go assuming things." He then held up a finger and went on to say, as though dealing with one who was quite altogether inexperienced, "if that was what you thought 'coming onto you' is, I'm afraid that you have become very full of yourself indeed, my lovely. If I were coming onto you, you would not simply assume such a thing-you would know. You flatter yourself in thinking a well reputed person such as myself would even do such a thing," he finished, feigning mock-insult at her. Then, with a stretch and a yawn, "to clarify, that was me being mildly flirtatious, as is my nature with all pretty young things. I have no interest in you that way, I'm afraid. Your lover-boy may keep you all to himself, therefore, with nary a worry about me."
T'kal eyed the girl as if surely she must have known precisely why they'd been woken up. However, she'd asked rather seriously-didn't she know? He crossed his arms across his chest, and then said in all seriousness now, "I'm guessing that you truly don't know, then?" He paused, and then told the pair, "do you know what happens to Weyrlings who are caught in a situation like yours, innocent intentions or no?" He looked from one to the other, and then, "a male and female are not to be together alone without supervision of another Weyrling or the Weyrlingmaster himself. To be caught like that, the day after your impression? Any rider would chew your ears off." He shrugged, and then admitted, "true, it's none of my business, but I wouldn't want someone less inclined to simply tell you and more inclined to tell you off to find you-mind you it may have been well enough since you obviously have no inkling, but come now-why do you think it is Weyrlings are forbidden to have any form of relationship and therefore to be alone?" He sighed and rubbed his temples, once again turning from serious to all smiles as he said, "but now you know, and no harm done-so will you both come and join in with me for K'ris' Turn day? Apparently the little guy hasn't had a proper one in ages, or so I hear. You two, as well as the other Weyrlings, are invited." He made a rather comical bow, though it was done so that it looked proper as could be, before standing up and walking over to Sarch.
The white hatchling looked up at his, after hearing what Kaenith had to say, still a bit confused about how any sort of fun was different from the other type. He would certainly have to ask his, but then he got caught up in the excitement of remembering they'd been looking for others that were his-not-mine's. *Mine came you ask yours if they would come to Queroth's mine's hatching day! he announced, quite all of a sudden, his chest sticking out proudly as to remembering this-though maybe not by his own doing!

Kira's excitement and sympathy perhaps got the best of her. Her mind ignored most everything else and honed in on one thing, birthday. "Why, Jil and I would love to come!", Kira practically squeeled in excitement, not realizing she just answered for Jil. She then climbed off Jil and turned to face him with an innocent, but excited look. "We must go. The poor boy hasn't had one in quite some time. It would mean so much to him I'm sure", she seemed to realize now that she did answer for him and now wished for him to answer for himself even if she was doing some pursuading of her own. "I only wish I had something I could give him. It's such short notice", she said thoughtfully, trying to think of anything she could give this boy.

As T'kal began to go on his righteous speel about weyrling rules and all that, J'kiran's expression took another turn for distraught. He lifted a hand up to his forehead and pressed it into his hair, burying his fingers under the band of cloth on his head as he did so. "I did think I'd heard something of the sort mentioned at one point or another, and said so to Miss Kira" he said, and tried again to step to the side and disengage her (gently) from his shoulders. "I'm new to Weyr life, however, and was assured no harm was done." He took his fingers out from under the cloth and pressed them into the hair on top of his head for a moment, bringing them down to run over his eyes after wards. "If it helps the situation, I had originally come alone for a quiet spot to write a letter."
Being told exactly what he'd feared before did not make him very aware of the second thing that T'kal mentioned, and so while Kira was responding excitedly and answering for them, J'kiran didn't really register anything that was being said until his name was spoken. He looked over to her at her question, taking a moment before responding as he finally went back to what T'kal had said before. "K'ris, you said?" He thought over the other male weyrlings that he'd been living with through candidacy, then nodded. "Of course I'll go," and to Kira. "I don't think he'll mind if you don't have a gift, not intending to sound rude, but he doesn't seem to have much anyway." He looked over to T'kal, his mind seemingly grateful for a relatively normal conversation topic to have come around. "You said he hasn't had one in awhile? Well, then I'm sure he'll be grateful enough for the celebration, even without the addition of gifts." He thought for a moment, the smiled a bit and added. "You know, it's quite convenient. He practically shares a birthday with his dragon."
J'kiranmine seems very pleased with the idea of celebrating with Queroth's. He tilted his head a bit. I am not sure if Ours have hatching days, though. The bronze looked over to J'kiran. Mine, did you and others hatch?
J'kiran looked over to his dragon and shook his head. No, dearheart. Humans don't hatch from eggs like dragons do. Then where do you come from? The red-head blinked at the question. He didn't reply right away, but rather gave a small cough to clear his throat. It's quite complicated, Kaenith. I'll explain to you some other time

When J’kiran smiled at her Marletta could not help but feel a little less embarassed on her intrusion and smiled back at him. She nodded when he mentioned T’kal and Kira’s “game” but did not realize what type of game they were playing till T’kal spoke of flirting. “Oh I see…” Marletta murmured more to herself. This was rather awkward, especially since Kira had not released J’kiran.
Issaeyith followed Kaenith’s gaze It does look rather confusing, though I am sad I missed the excitement.
T’kal mentioned K’ris Turn Day, “I think a celebration for him is a great idea,” the quiet girl said not sure if the boy had noticed her presence. “It’s really nice that you would do that for him.” Marletta had not spoken with K'ris but he seemed nice and had had to deal with Raska and Tieler while being a candidate.

Kira nodded to both of them. "I'm sure you're right. He'll love to have a party I'm sure. But still, it is tradition and it'd be nice for someone who really hasn't had one celebrated to begin with. It'd just be that one extra step of kindness", Kira said calmly. She then mused to herself, "This could be a great opportunity to bring our group closer together as well." She had meant the new group of weyrlings she found herself in now.
Kira looked around to see T'kal had walked off. A smirk formed on her lips, but nothing more. "Shall we start preparing then?", she turned to ask Jil with sweet words and the most innocent look on her face.

J'kiran nodded, offering a smile over to Marletta when she said she'd be happy to come along. "I believe with birthday parties, the phrase 'the more the merrier' tends to fit quite well?" He let the smile on his face be replaced with a more thoughtful expression for a moment. "Unless he's the sort that doesn't appreciate large crowds. I certainly hope that's not the case." He looked back over to the two girls. "You don't suppose someone would get angry over something like that, do you?"
He nodded though, after Kira gave her last question. "Preparations ought to be made, yes. I'm not certain if someone else has made plans, but we could at least stop in and see if the kitchens could spare a bubbly pie, or a sweet cake for the occasion. ...Hm." He looked over to his bronze. "Kaenith, do we even know where K'ris is? It'd be a shame if we did this planning and then weren't sure where to find him."
Queroth is awake with His in the place where we slept last night. He says he is very hungry, but has not had the heart to wake His yet, and so has just been sleeping on and off with him all day.
J'kiran blinked once and quirked an eyebrow. "He's still sleeping, you mean?" He smiled a bit and looked over to the two girls. "Well, I suppose a celebration among fellow weyrlings ought to be a fun way to wake him? We're all to be stuck together throughout training, and after. If nothing else, it will be quite the way to bond a bit."

Marletta nodded, “I have heard that phrase applied to parties before. I think it works for this occasion,” she said with a smile. When J’kiran posed the question to her and Kira she thought for a moment, “I don’t really know all that much about K’ris, except he impressed the Hawk’s Eye dragon.” She tapped her finger on her lips thinking for a moment, “I don’t think he’d get angry… I don’t know anyone who would be angry with a party.”
The talk of bubbly pies made Marletta’s stomach rumble, she blushed a bit, “Bubbly pies sound really good right now.” Marletta was surprised to hear that the boy was still asleep, “How could he sleep on a pretty day like this?” she then giggled at the thought of a surprise party waking the boy, “I think it will be a very interesting way to wake him.” She added a nod at the end of the statement. She girl looked to Kira to see what she thought of the plan.

"Oh my, yes. I think it'd be an excellent way to wake him", Kira agreed, giggling. She looked at the two of them with an amused smile. "It certainly would be a surprise then, wouldn't it?", she asked them both.
"Well at any rate", she continued on. "We should go check to see if anything's been done and see what we can do", Kira spoke up, trying to move the both of them into action.

J'kiran nodded in reply to both girls, thinking on it a bit more. When Kira spoke again he looked over to her, nodding yet again. "Yes, that would certainly be the thing to do." He looked back to the dragonets lounging about. "Come along then, Kaenith." And then, turning back to the other weyrlings. "We can stop by the kitchen and ask the workers there. If anyone's come by to request something for this bit of a party, I'm sure they'll already know." He took a step to the side and motioned with his hand towards the edge of the stone they were on closest to the Weyr. "Ladies first, of course."
[We can scene skip after your posts to...somewhere xD Either the kitchen, or straght to the party in the temporary barracks.]
