Tieler was eager to get off of Akki’s back and be sitting on her own where she wouldn’t be making any sort-of physical contact with the Bluerider. She liked her space just fine and would be damned if any one tried to take it away from her. When Marletta reacted the way she did over Tieler’s comment about her having “grubby hands” Tieler was truly tickled, though she kept a neutral appearance that didn’t lead on to the fact that she was gaining pleasure at the girl’s expense. All she wanted to do watch the runner races; not focusing on any one around her anymore. She’d obviously ignored Raska’s question about her being all right; not caring at this particular moment-or any moment for that matter-to describe what was going on in her head. It was for her and her alone to deal with, that’s how it’d always be. She rolled her stiff shoulders, likely stiff from having slept on Akki’s lap in an awkward position. Her gaze remained on the runner races even when Sh’rel came bounding up with her glass of water. She took it from him with a grunt, drinking the water down at a slow pace, like she should’ve done with the alcohol. She hoped that she’d never have to repeat such an experience again but even she knew that she never learned from her experiences, even when they had bad repercussions.
She didn’t show any real excitement at seeing the horses run, though a hidden twinkle could be found in her eye as the announcer hollered out; of course that twinkle could’ve just as easily been her imagining putting the man on a spit for increasing her migraine. At one point in the race she turned to Raska and pointed a finger to the mess that was her hair: “Could you?” she asked, a gentle tone to her voice. She bet that Raska would be just as hopeful that some one would get the braids out of her own hair if some one had done the unkind deed to her of putting them there. Tieler didn’t exactly hold a grudge against Akki for having done it, since she bet that she’d likely deserved it for firing off her mouth time and time again. “EvenTide!” was the name that she heard called out, and she whipped her head in the direction of the race, seeing that it was over. She wasn’t really fanatical on seeing who had won anyhow, its not like she’d had anything to lose or gain from the race since she’d not bet anything on it. She preferred to save her money for things she knew she’d benefit from. As things were cleared away and a dance floor made clear Tieler remained planted in her seat, refusing to move from here on in. There was no way that she’d ever partake in something so foolish as dancing! She glared at the couples that made there way on to the dance floor, females dancing with boys whom were as dumb as sticks.

Wolf shook her head back and forth in response to Kaiya’s question. “No, its all right, I prefer to just watch them run,” she said honestly. She wasn’t one for betting, like she’d said. She preferred to enjoy a moment with out having to be concerned to whether or not she’d be at a loss or gain. “They’re so beautiful, after all,” she added, wondering if Riler would’ve heard her over his shouts. She chuckled, watching him stand-up and yell to root on the runner he wished to win. “I’m sure the horse will want to win knowing that you’re looking like that!” she yelled to him as a measure of teasing. She remained seated, eyes widening when the announcer yelled EvenTide’s close win! “Aw,” she frowned, feeling bad for Riler-had Kaiya bet on EvenTide though? “Sorry Riler,” she said to him once the noise had died down and the dancing was about to start.
Wolf turned her attention away from Riler, watching as the Lord and Lady Holder made there way through the other people to be the first to dance. Every one else waited, showing their respect for the pair, letting half a song go by before they joined them. Wolf felt her face turning a light shade of red as she watched the couples dance. She looked over at both of her friends slowly, and then quickly looked away again-staring at her feet. “So, do you guys want to go and get some more food or something?” she asked, hoping that they agreed to her quick plan. She had a feeling, from Riler’s comment before, that he’d probably want to engage in the dancing. If that was the case, while she hoped it wasn’t, she’d have to make a get away with Kaiya… unless Kaiya wanted to dance too; then she’d have to escape all on her own. She silently prayed that she wouldn’t have to be apart of this current event, not having looked up from the ground.

R’xis was literally taken aback, completely taken off guard by how Rhiyo had responded. He wasn’t mad, not at all? “Yah… They can “get on” like that,” R’xis coughed. He felt embarrassed that Rhiyo had even mentioned it, but obviously the boy hadn’t thought much about what he’d said. He bet he didn’t even understand the concept of flights. R’xis nodded his had, “Yah… It is great. She is quite beautiful indeed, isn’t she? Thanks, I’m just glad you understand-,” R’xis broke off when he heard the announcer shouting. He grabbed Rhiyo’s arm, dragging him over to a free seat. He pointed to where the runner’s were racing, gaze following their movements while his subconscious was going over Rhiyo’s last question. He turned his head to Rhiyo, giving his late reply: “Yah, Akki does know…” He gave a small smile, as if the thought pleased him, which it did. He then turned back to the runner races, surprised at how quickly it had gone.
When EvenTide won he snapped his fingers, “Shoot! I thought it would’ve been Here Comes Trouble Too for sure. Oh well,” he shrugged. As the dancing began, after the Lord and Lady Holder started it off, R’xis stood up with a nervous laugh. “Dancing, huh?” he said to Rhiyo, looking down at his friend. “I’m not too big on it, unless there’s actually some one to dance with… you know?” His gaze quickly darted around the area, trying to spot the only person that mattered at this moment. He held the necklace that he’d bought her tightly in his hand, wondering if she’d accept his offer to dance… Would it be too awkward for her? He thought that it’d be a possibility but there wasn’t really anything too weird about two friends dancing, right?
