Mine, Akki is coming. I know her because she hangs out with some of the weyrlings. Orylith stated proudly, as if she could save someone's life with this knowledge. Hali looked up to see that the green was correct. The blue-rider was walking their way, an arm raised in the air as a greeting. Hali made a strange noise, almost like a squeak (I do that a lot, normally when I am laughing though), as she attempted to cover up the bandages with her arms. Yet, once again, she failed to do and the wet shirt clung to the bandages as if they were part of the cloth, yet clearly visibly through the white clothing.

Kia turned around. Hali was acting oddly and she figured someone must be behind her. As she spun, she saw the small figure of Akki waving. She squinted her eyes. There was something weird. As the bluerider came nearer, Kia noticed she was walking a little differently. It was as if she was hurt. She ran up to her old friend. "Akki... are you okay?"

Akki skipped the rest of the way to the lake, or at least what she called a skip but in reality is a more of a stumble then a run, then another stumble. Stopping near the two she grinned and asked, "Am I interrupting anything? I can leave it wanted. I wouldn't want to be the third person hanging aroud thing.". As she spoke she held up three fingers and waggled them in the air, almost as if showing off the fact that she could count. "Oh, right. I'm supposed to greet people before barging in. Hello everyone, nice day out isn't it?" She said looking up towards the sky, this time seeing Ebbeth slowly declining and heading towards the ground in a slow spiral.
Akki waved her hand at Kia, as if warding away any concerns. "Nothing much, I just have a new accessory on my skin. I'd show it off but it clashes horribly with my hair so I'm trying to hide it right now. What about you K'lor? You have bandages on, are you okay?". Of course Akki wasn't smart enough to figure anything out, she just assumed the boy had a tumble or something.

Hali felt so bad. Did the bruise really hurt that much? It was all her fault. She should have warned her father to not come. It wasn't like he would have been able to come without Trev. Seriously, she was the first dragon-rider from that renegade group. "Akki, I am so sorry about that." She apologized. Hali tried to cover up the bandages more but it was impossible, her arms just weren't big enough. "I..well..uh...you see.." Hali stumbled over her words. She couldn't let another person find out, not after how Kia had reacted. She had just wanted her to tell someone, but Hali really wasn't ready.

Kia glanced at hali. Sure, an excuse wasn't too hard but Hali seemed so flabbergasted she must not have been able to come up with it. "Well," AKki said loudly, "Yesterday I saw K'lor here and bumbped into him. He hurt his back when he fell." Kia felt awkward calling Hali a he. He was a she now, after all.
"So, what exactly happened?"

Akki blinked, and tilted her head to the side. "About what? You didn't do anything K'lor. It's my fault really. I should learn not to walk into fists for now on. I'll have to remember that for the next time. And you should too. Don't walk into fists. That's my advice for you two today.". Akki listened to Kia and giggled slightly, "You two might be become as clumsy as me one of these days. And that's not a good thing.".
"You must have fallen pretty hard if you needed bandages." She said, placing a finger on the side of her chin as if she was thinking really hard. "I hope you get better than K'lor. We can start a new trend though that involves bandages if you want!".

Kia was glad Akki wasn't the brightest, though she knew that was rude. If the rider had really thought about it that might seem farfetched but she was easy to please. "So- Akki, you were punched? By who? Man I wish I hadn't fallen asleep in the Weyrbowl. Oh-" She cursed quietly. "I wasn't supposed to say that," she added. She shook her head, the water swinging from her hair.
ooc; Mine have been becoming shorter and shorter. I just try to ignore it by making my puppets, :DD

Akki shook her head and relpied, "I wouldn't say punched, that sounds so unpleasant. I merely walked into a fist a few times that was coming towards me. It was my fault really. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut, but that's really hard for me and I really just suck at keeping things to myself.". She finished that sentence with an embarrassed grin as she rubbed the back of her neck. She raised an eyebrow and said, her voice obviously amused, "Slept in the Werybowl? Gee Kia, even I haven't done that. You sure you're not sick or something? You didn't fall off of Kylath and bump your head or anything, did you?".

Kia squeezed a portion of her hair. "Well I didn't mean to fall asleep. I just was tired. I had been there for a while and I wanted to rest for a second is all. I just fell asleep. That's all." Kia sudenlly noticed the bits of firestone which was right next to Akki. She seemed to have not noticed it. "Akki! Don't you want to swim!" she said, tring to get the blue rider distracted.

"Oh, that makes sense. I can understand that at least. When you're tired, you sleep, no matter where. That's my logic." Akki said as she bobbed her head up and down, obviously content with Kia's short story. It was fortunate that Akki was one of the easiest people to be distracted, other wise she probably would have noticed the fire stone. A smile took over her face and she said, "Of course! When don't I want too?". Up in the air Ebbeth snorted silently in amusement, obviously enjoying the fact that his rider was so easy to make happy.

Hali smiled brightly at Kia. She had kept the secret. Maybe she did understand. Maybe she just didn't want Hali to get hurt. See mine? Now someone knows your secret and there is someone you can talk to. Orylith said happily, but she was distracted.
Ooh! Swimming, can I go? Orylith asked Hali. It is okay with me. Hali said to the green. Can I come? Can I come? The little dragonet ran up to Kia and Akki, looking hopefully up at the two taller beings.

Akki turned around to face her friends and walked backwards while saying, "We should all go swimming! It'll take our mind off of everything, right? And isn't there a saying? Swimming once a day, keeps the diseases away? Or did I make that up?". While pondering about the fact whether or not she did make up that saying, being the clumsy person she was, she just happened to trip over her own feet.
Her arms flailed wildly for a moment, doing nothing but giving her a comical look before she fell backwards right into the lake. She was very fortunate that it was the lake she fell into, and not onto the ground for that would hurt much more. She watched as her friends seemed to grow smaller and smaller, and they had a hint of blue to their skins before realizing that she was under the water, slowly sinking. Bubbles rose up from her mouth, rushing to the surface as she sighed (A hard thing to do under water, might I add) and cursed her bad luck before slowly pushing herself towards the surface.

"Wow, how did we all manage to fall into the water at almost the exact same spot? That isn't exactly the most honorable feat and now we are all soaked while our dragons are dry and probably laughing at us." Hali sighed. Mine, I would never laugh at you, even if you are clumsy enough to rat out your secret and fall into the water in a matter of minutes. The green explained to her rider. First of all, it was you who ratted out my secret, and Kia is the one who pushed me in the water. Hali pointed out. "Either way," Hali continued aloud, "we are all now soaked." She repeated.

Kylath, not as polite as Orylith, did not care wether Kia approved of her swimming. SHe was her own dragon. Besides, she was huge. What was Kia going to do? Of course, Kia probably wouldn't say no but Kylath wasn't about to waste time debating this. She flapped her massive wings and leaped into the air. She went higher and higher and put herself over the lake. She kept her wings spread, not wanting to gain too much speed. then she dove...
Kia saw Kylath fly into the air but she did not give the dragoness a second thought. She just looked at Akki, feeling an odd sense of deja vu. "I did that just a few moments ago. Do you think we are long lost twins?!" Kia greatly enjoyed Akki's company. She always felt so joyous and excited and a whole mess of (positive) emotions. Kia deeply hoped she and Akki could rekindel their friendship. It seeme dit had been forever that Kia had been gone.
Kia shook her head of her thoughts and ran to the water. SHe was ankle deep when she noticed a copper glint. She glanced up but only in time to see Kylath slam into the water. A huge spleash emerged and even though the dragoness was far into the lake, it easily reached Kia, knocking her onto the ground. "Ow," she groaned, grabbing her back.

Hali was once again washed with a wave a water. "Not again!" She exclaimed as the water washed away. "Look at my shirt, it is almost completely see through." She complained. The bandages were now easily seen. She hoped they didn't get ruined while she was out here. She couldn't just leave Orylith after all and the little green had wanted to swim so badly. With a sigh, Hali walked over to a tree and sat beneath it, leaning her back up against a trunk. She pulled her knees to her chest, wrapped her arms around legs, and rested her chin on her knees.
Me too, me too! Orylith ran at the lake and jumped in. Instead of diving like the copper, she belly-flopped in, with her wings folded tightly against her body. Her splash wasn't nearly as big either, after all, she had only hatched two or three days ago. Orylith took a moment to get the hang of swimming but she figured it out quickly, and was soon swimming in circles, with her tail dragging behind her as she waited for the others to join.

As Akki broke the surface, only her head popped out with her blonde hair clinging to her face wildly, giving her the appearance of some lake beast. "I wouldn't doubt it Kia. In fact, I bet it was planned. I mean, you fall in the water, then I do and then we find out we're long lost twins. There's no better way to find out." She chirped happily, not letting the fact she was now soaked get her down. Akki slipped under the water, for she saw the copper dragon dive happily into the water and figured that her best bet of being safe was under the water.
As she appeared back on the surface, she noticed Kia on her back and couldn't help herself. A giggle slipped out of her mouth. "I'm sorry Kia, but you look awfully funny at the moment.". Looking over at K'lor who was now resting against a tree in a huddled position, she waved both her arms above her head while treading water. "Come on K'lor! Come swim with us! We'll have a grand old time.".
Ebbeth watched as the big copper went into the water, and then watched as the new green feebly 'dived' into the lake right after. Feeling left out, he folded his wings tightly against his body and threw himself towards the lake, going at an alarming speed. Soon as he was about to hit the water, he straighted himself out as best as he could and dived into the lake at an angle, creating as little as a splash as he could manage.

Kia crawled to her knees and steadily stood up. She looked up to listen to Akki's words. She stepped closer to the water. "Long lost twin or not-" she said quietly. She ran to the water and jumped in. Underwater she swam, her eyes buring slightly from the water. She saw movement. She rose to the surface to see who it was. Sure enough, it was the blonde haired bluerider. Kia ggrinned and slipped back into the murky water and swam towards Akki.

Hali nodded. "No thank you, I...don't swim." Hali was not proud that she didn't know how to swim. To her it was a weakness, so she wished for as few people to know about it as possible. Don't worry mine. Later, when you tell everyone that you are a girl, maybe someone will teach you. Then we can swim together. The green exclaimed excitedly to her mine. She dove in and out of the water. She then swam in circles before stopping. She stuck her head underwater and saw Kia swimming toward Akki. Wanting to play whatever game the copper-rider had started, Orylith darted off toward Kia, attempting to tackle the larger being.

Akki just saw the top of Kia's head before the girl went underneath the water for the second time. "Kia?" Akki called out, turning her head around to see the girl. "Oh shards. She's probably going to try and attack me from below." She sighed wistfully, but with a grin before she quickly kicked her legs as hard as possible as she paddled away from where Kia was moments before.
"You don't?" Akki called out to K'lor curiously as she continued to swim. She never really knew anyone who couldn't swim, so she found this rather odd. "I'll teach you whenever you want to learn." Akki offered not-so-helpfully considering her version of teaching was to push a kid into the water and yell 'Swim' loudly and obnoxiously.
And before you think of it, don't ask me to help you escape from the girl if she is coming after you. Ebbeth said pleasantly as he floated on the surface. I wouldn't mind seeing you dissapear. He snickered as he made his way over to the group of people, watching the little green

Kia noticed Akki was going faster but she was an excellent swimmer. Hopefully she could pass her. She kicked hard as she could and caught up to Akki. Here she began to rise up and breached the surface right beside Akki. She jumped up as best she could and pushed on Akki's shoulders to shove her into the water.
