Ruanth stared at the blue.
Why is he larger than the other full grown blues that I have met?
I don't know, he just is.

B'ton climbed up to Vretanth's back and waved. Vretanth was almost as big as a brown, or even bgger.

Aureth's eyes whirled in suttle amazemnet.

He smiled down to the little dragons around him and then to Suni who chirped loudly in his ear.

B'ton jumped down, but the impact hurt his leg, and it was even worse from the scar. "I wonder what happened to Vretanth in the egg." B'ton said. Vretanth had gone through many mood changes in the past while.

NIke grinned and waved back.
She hadn't seen B'ton in awhile.
"I don't know. Well Tirith had died, then Ruanth had hatched. I think he likes her." The Healer said wondering.

Really, that blue will be larger than me? Vretanth walked closer to them. To him, they seemed like oversized firelizards. B'ton walked closer to Nike. "So, you think the white will fly?" B'ton asked Nike, and thought to himself. Vretanth sniffed the white.

Nike shruged. "I really don't know. But I think she will." The Healer sighed.
Ruanth reared back when the larger blue started to sniff her.
Hey! Don't do that! And yes, he will be larger than you!
The white said, glaring slightly at Vretanth.

"I am sure she will," D'ran said though unceratinty colored his words.
He scanned over all of the dragons and grinned.
Vretanth was so large.
"Anyways, what do you mean about the egg," he asked, very confused.
Was it her old Weyrmate or something?
Aureth smiled at Ruanth's words.
When Vretanth nudged the little White he didn't really quite get out of the way of the large Blue's nose.

Its okay, I won't hurt you. Vretanth looked at a bird fly over, and snatched it right in the air. Just a little snack. B'ton watched as Vretanth plucked the passing bird. Vretanth has learned many things when he was young.

"Well he will get over Tirith's death if Ruanth Flies." She said.

"I think he's realized that already. But he's still growing. He might be to large to fly a delicate white..." B'ton said, hoping Ruanth wouldn't be that small. Vretanth lied down by the dragonets. I'm going to be almost the size of a brown. Not many blues, in fact, barely any, grow to that size. That blue will have to be lucky to grow bigger than me!

Nike smiled up at B'ton. "I have a feeling that Ruanth will be large. But not too large. Around 20 to 25 feet."
The Healer sighed. "I'm sure that Vretanth could fly Ruanth if she did mate." Deep down NIke didn't want Ruanth to fly. It was odd. But she didn't show it.
Aureth was the largest blue when he hatched! Around the sized of a brown when they hatch! I bet my first mate
poistion to you that Aurenth will be bigger than you!
Nike smacked her right hand to her forehead. The white had said that for all to hear.

Are you sure that is the deal you would like to make? Vretanth sounded sly. "What happened now..." B'ton asked, he knew Ruanth did something that she shouldn't have.

D'ran burst out laughing at what Ruanth said.
Aureth was confused with his bonded but felt very proud.
He nodded and smiled.

Yes! Ruanth said proudly. She had just put a lont of weight on Aureth's back.
Nike goraned. "She had just bet her first mate's postion to Vretanth that Aureth would be bigger than him. So if Aureth is not bigger, Vretanth will be Ruanth's first mate. And if Aureth is, well Vretanth will not."

"She's just young." B'ton could not believe that Ruanth did that. "Well, I hope thats the case." And, I'm still growing, so, even if he is larger than me now, I might be even larger. Vretanth was back to his normal self, almost. All he needed to do now was to prove that he was the largest, and will be for some time, blue in the Weyr.

Nike said sadly. She wasn't against Vretanth mating with Ruanth, or with it. She just wasn't so sure about all this.
