R'anl heaved a slow sigh, and shifted his weight slightly in his seat. "I still don't see what is so drastically bad that you think you're less than something. Granted, your father might have been a bad man, and granted, you might have come from a low standing. But that is nothing to make you a bad person ... or to make people fear or distaste of you." He shrugged slightly. "A lot of riders come from really obscure places and walks of life. But we're all family." He looked at her. "Always. We may not always get along the best, but riders stick up for each other. We work together. I don't think anything in your past would make you less of a member." R'anl assured her.
Geth rumbled to himself, and slowly walked back out of the lake, water running off of his hide. Dripping profusely, he made sure to stay clear of the little grouping of humans that were chatting the night up. He paid them little actual attention as to what they were saying, before plopping down and rolling over onto his side with a bone-rattling groan. Yes, he was going to be quite muddy by the time he got up!

Relina looked at him with wide eyes. So quick was he to accept someone he didn't even know, so quick was everyone around her to accept her. It confused her, and yet, she was comfortable.
What he says is true, one's past does not determine how others will see them, nor how they will interact with them. Mine is safe, mine is loved.[/color] Soranith told her, looking up at her with adoring eyes. Relina smiled and gently stroked Soraniths head.
"Thank you, R'anl. My past has forced me to be distrustful of others, I hope to change this, and with all of you, it already has." Relina said, looking at her new friends.
