G'han let out a hearty laugh. He was all about ambiguity, so there was no telling what either woman thought of the other scar. He decided, out of courtesy, to give more detail. "I got both my scars at the same time. Not the exact same time, but same incident", G'han let them in on a little more detail. These girls weren't the only ones who would get scars from fights.
"The other scar is much bigger and requires me to take my shirt off. That's why it's so privileged", G'han said with a smirk. He wouldn't mind showing them, but he really couldn't be bothered at this moment to take his shirt off. Especially since that now required him to get his blue flitt off his shoulders first. Azure chirped happily as he perched himself on G'han.

Andilay mouth twitch in an amused and playful way. "Ah, I see of the two of us, the woman has less modesty. But then, I did not have to take my whole vest off to chow my battle scar... just raise it... immodestly." She smiled coyly and ate a few more bites of her now cold supper.
"What would your mother think? ..oops." Rayn had forgotten who she was talking to for a second. Sometimes, when one was having fun, the important background information was temporarily forgotten.
Andilay frowned and glared into her klah. "My mother could care less what I do, no matter if it was swordplay, whoring or drugery... And I could care less what she thought. That woman lost all my love and respect soon after my father died." Andilay tipped her mug slightly to the side, as if thinking about spilling it's contents all over the table... But then she knocked it back and chugged the almost full mug till there was perhaps a drop left, and then lightly smacked the mug on the table.
Rayn gave her partner a worried and apologetic look. "Shards- I'm sorry, Andy! I didn't mean.... y'know." Rayn did a head gesture, speaking multitudes in the small movement.
Andilay waved her apology away. "I know... unpleasant memories, what can you do?"

G'han leaned back, ignoring the chittery flitt on his shoulders. "Maybe. Though I can honestly say I'm not bothered to take off my shirt right now. Sorry to dissapoint", G'han folded his arms behind his head and locked his hands together with his fingers. He gave the girls a wink. Azure seemed to take that as his que to move from his shoulders to resting on his head.
"Darn flitt won't leave me well enough alone. Don't mess up my hair too badly Azure. You're known to take a claw full of it with you", G'han fussed at his flitt again. The last thing he wanted was for the blue to give him bald spots. Azure leaned down and looked at G'han curiously as he cocked his head to the side. He chirped in response before nestling back comfortably on his head. "Yeah, what I thought", G'han responded. He honestly had no idea what the flitt's response was though. Azure must not have gotten what he had said.
By the time he was finished having his own conversation with his flitt, he picked up on the girls' conversation again. From scars, it had moved to family. G'han didn't have that kind of family anymore, something he use to lose sleep over, but he could tell that one girl wasn't too keen on what remained of hers. G'han had laid his demons to rest long ago and wondered if this girl would do the same.
"Indeed. What can you do?", G'han agreed to Andilay's point and repeated her question rhetorically. "I'd raise my glass to that, but it seems I'm empty. I'll run off and get some more. I'll be back shortly", G'han said as he looked down at his empty glass. He got up, nodded and smiled kindly to the two girls and then gave a nod to the weyrling and walked off to get some more drink.

Z’ayr beamed happily at the two girls. He was quite thankful that he stopped by the kitchens now. He liked the idea of becoming friends with other people, and Andilay and Rayn seemed very interesting. They could probably beat him up if he refused also, not that he was going too. “Dinayth and I will take you up on that offer then.” Z’ayr laughed as the blue crooned his approval.
Z’ayr watched as everyone showed their scars, wondering what stories lurked underneath them. Tales of heroism and bravery no doubt. Or perhaps regret and stupidity? Z’ayr cupped his hands around his mouth and jeered at G’han, “Woo! Take it off! Show some skin! Put on a show!”
He listened with interest at Andilay’s could-be rant. He never really had any problems with his mom. She accepted that her son liked other boys exceptionally well and there was never tension between them. He felt that other people couldn’t have a mother like his. Z’ayr snapped his fingers pleasantly. “You drink lots of Benden wine, and then bump your head so you can forget everything unpleasant.” The boy ran a finger across his bottom lip. “My brother tried it once but ended up forgetting his name for a sevenday. I think that was a hint.”
He slumped slightly at the knowledge G’han wouldn’t be stripping down. Now show for him then, that was rather disappointing actually. He watched as G’han walked away to get something to fill his mug. He turned to Andilay and Rayn and winked in jest. “I’d do him. If, you know, he wasn’t old. And if he was more willing to take off his shirt”

The two women looked at each other with raised eyebrows, then burst out laughing.
Rayn clapped Z'ayr on the shoulder and pointed at him. "Y-Your.." Laughs a bit more, "Your okay. I like you." A little more laughter. "You've got spunk- and your funny. Plus you won't hit on me!!! I think I'm in heaven to find such a companion... not that I don't love you, Andy."
Andilay wiped the corners of her eyes which had teared a little. "Dearly not queerly I hope?" The older woman smiled a half smile and let out a happy sigh.
Rayn chuckled. "But of course."

“I won’t hit on you. Instead I’ll shower you with compliments that will cause you to get a big head. I’ve seen it happen many times.” Z’ayr nodded with pretend wise knowledge. Or he would still hit on the girls but at least they would know that he wasn’t serious. Z’ayr was a rather lucky guy in his opinion. He got to flirt with everyone and anyone. The best part was that no one really minded that he flirted with them; the exception being the extremely homophobic guys who thought their manliness would be in jeopardy if they went along with it. Guys are so weird sometimes. Z’ayr mused silently.
Z’ayr snapped his fingers, grinning widely. “My dear Andilay. Hasn’t anyone told you queer love is the dearest kind of love?” Not that he would know, of course. Heck, he didn’t even know what straight love was like. And he never planned to find out that last one. Hooking up with a girl? Z’ayr felt a shiver crawl down his body at that thought.

Andilay quirked an eyebrow. "Oh really? Shall I give it a try? Rayn do you feel up to exploring... Admin's Note:[/hr]" Andilay leaned across the table, her eyes half lidded in a seductive invitation.
Rayn jerked away at first, then smiled. "Well, I'll try anything once..." She leaned forward as well... and just as they got very close- so close if someone bumped into them they'd kiss- two hands reached out and grabbed Z'ayr and both women planted a kiss on one of his cheeks.
Andilay smiled a sly happy smile, like a cat who stole cream. "Very sorry, but male flesh just seems... better." Andilay waved vaguely over to her companion. "Not that you aren't beautiful Rayn."
"Oh, I know. My beauty is a curse." Rayn ran a finger up her scar and shrugged... then scratched Dinayth's eye ridges.

G'han had taken his dear time getting a fresh cup of klah and making it just right. He also indulged in a sip or two before deciding to walk back to his seat. G'han walked carefully, making sure not to spill a drop. It'd hardly be worth it to spend so much time making a cup of klah to have it spill on him.
G'han had looked up from his cup as he neared his seat and noticed the two women kissing the young weyrling. The bronzerider quirked an eyebrow as he sat down. He took another sip before speaking. "Apparently I left at the wrong time. Or the right time. It all depends", G'han said, eyebrows returning to normal and a smirk in their place. He held the cup lightly in his hands as he looked over at the three from his seat.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Do you feel left out G'han? I can give you a kiss too if you like." Andilay gave the rider a coy smile, her eyes dancing with mischief.
Rayn rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Oh please, like he wants your cooties."
Andilay looked back at her friend with a look of contempted disbelief. "Cooties? Are you serious? I can't believe you couldn't come up with something... less juvenile."
Rayn simply shrugged.

Okay, so Z’ayr may have been a little too interested in seeing the girls kiss. He had yet to seen that in his life time and was just genuinely curious. And he thought maybe this was his time to see it - until they grabbed him and kissed his cheeks instead. At least it wasn’t on the lips! “My male flesh is softer then most.” He laughed, he took care of his skin. What fabulous guy wouldn’t?
A croon emitted from Dinayth again. Oh he was definitely enjoying the attention being lavished upon him. That is the most action you will get from a girl in your lifetime. He snorted out loud for everyone to hear, deeply amused by the girls antics.
“I’m not entirely sure if it was the right or wrong time either.” He said as G’han returned. He smiled slyly to the girls and gave them a slow wink. “Their lips weren’t the ones I wanted though. Oh well.” The girls probably knew what he meant, and maybe G’han would have a faint idea. It’s not like Z’ayr went around pretending to be straight after all. He leaned on the table and smiled, “I’ll take your cooties any time Andilay.”

G'han laughed, realizing the boy's preference. "And if I were any other way, maybe you would get what you want", G'han said in jest. He was fine with a person's preference, as long as they respected his.
"I wouldn't mind your lips at all, girls", G'han turned his attention back to the young swordswomen. He could only chuckle at the word cooties, it was not a word he heard very often. "I believe I could put up with any girl and her "cooties" ", G'han responded, using air quotations with his fingers when he said the word. G'han was pretty sure if he could kiss Akki and have nothing bad happen to him, then any girl was safe and therefore free game.

"Oh really, eh? Humph!" Rayn only frowned and looked away, not liking the direction the conversation was heading.
"You'll have to excuse her. She's had one to many bad brushes with men. They try to hit on her WAY to often. You would think that her scar would mark her as tuff, but all they see is the pouty lips and nice face and figure... and then WHAM! They get one right in the kisser. To be quite honest, I never get bored of watching her wipe their clocks." Andilay smiled and shrugged. Her friend would always look prettier than her, it was the genetic lottery; but Andilay was pretty enough for her liking. She understood the dislike of being annoyed one to many times by simple minded males who were horny. She rolled her eyes.
"We prefer to make the first moves, if we make any." Another one of her coy smiles spread across her face. Oh, she loved teasing.

G'han gave a curious expression to Rayn's response, but nothing more. Though Andilay was quick to explain. A smile spread across G'han's lips, understanding now where the response came from. "Then you'll have to excuse me. It would be best to ignore me, then. It's a pass time of mine to flirt with most women. Though I try my best not to let it go beyond that. I try to stay as harmless as possible", G'han explained himself to Rayn, hoping it would ease her, if only slightly. G'han wasn't one to put a person in discomfort, but he wasn't going to pretend he was something he wasn't either. He did make it a mental note, however, to try and tone down the flirty responses.
"What's a single male bronzerider to do? All these pretty ladies running around and I still can't seem to anchor myself", he spoke in jest. But for G'han, it was a bit more complicated than that. He had just gotten out of a relationship gone bad and though it was fixed, it was something that had changed his outlook on relationships. He wasn't going to purposefully look for one, but if one did happen to fall in his lap that was another story altogether. He just wasn't quick to jump into one. Though he had gotten close on a couple of occassions. His brief encounter with the greenrider Aarora being one of the more recent.
Right now G'han was content focusing on other things. He was a wingleader now, and he had plenty of duties to fill his time. He also enjoyed any time he got to socialize, such as now. A current interest of his was listening in on the weyr gossip, and so much of it seemed to have something to do with him. Even if some weren't true at all.
"I can appreciate a girl that knows what she wants and desires to take the initiative. Nothing wrong with that at all. I'd have to commend you on it", G'han responded to her last comment. Who couldn't admire a girl that knew what she wanted and went after it first?

Z’ayr grinned, fingers pressed against his lips. “It was worth a shot, right?” He laughed with a simple shrug. G’han was nice and everything, but he had his eyes set on a different Dark Moon boy. A boy who probably had no idea, which made it much more fun.
Z’ayr turned his attention back to Andilay and nodded, “Guys like the pouty lips. They can’t help it. They see them and are automatically drawn to them! It’s a curse!” Not that he really knew of course. Pouty girl lips? They did nothing to him. “Don’t most bronzeriders have flirting as a past time?” Z’ayr asked rather innocently. He was pretty sure that was a trait that they all shared, some more extreme then others of course.
Z’ayr nodded along as the conversation progressed. He had quite the number of straight male friends at his previous home and he knew that they all thoroughly enjoyed it when the girl took the initiative. He could never understand why, wouldn’t that mean the girl was wearing the pants in the relationship? But whenever he mentioned this the others rolled their eyes and reminded him that he wouldn’t be wearing the pants in any relationship of his so he better not comment. He had to agree.

Rayn gave G'han another sizing glance and then shrugged. She understood most men's need to flirt and want the opposite sex. She was glad that this one understood her need to make the first move for companionship. Especially since he wasn't her type.
"I second that statement. A curse indeed. Well, I suppose it does come in handy sometimes..." Rayn glanced up at Andilay and the two chuckled. "Especially when bandits think your harmless and turn their backs on you."
"And then WHAM! Y'catch 'em unawares. Ahhhh... good times." Andilay smiled and then nodded at G'han, giving him a little salute in response to his comment of women taking the initiative.

"Yes. I'll give you points for effort, at the very least", G'han told Z'ayr between chuckles. The weyrling was amusing, atleast. But he could only shrug at the weyrling's question, and answer as best he could. "I don't know about other bronzeriders. I tend not to fit in very well with that crowd. I'm pretty strange like that. It's probably why I didn't get along so well at Telgar", G'han commented, making note of his time at Telgar.
"I can't say many of the bronzeriders there favored me. I was an odd sort. Gerenanth took to their style pretty quick though. Ever since then he's been a giant, bronze thorn in my side", the bronzerider laughed, further commenting on his time at Telgar. Gerenanth had grown into his own at Telgar, that was for sure. He wasn't the small, awkward bronze that he was at Dark Moon. At Telgar he seemed to make it a point to prove himself. Too bad his own rider made things difficult for the bronze. Where Gerenanth tried to fit in, G'han would rather not.
G'han gave a salute back to Andilay, with a smile on his face. He found the salute an odd gesture, but likeable all the same.

Z’ayr laughed at the two girls. They were definitely different then the delicate ones he had grown up, the ones who were afraid of dirt and of getting roughed up. He noticed that a lot of the girls at Dark Moon were wilder, and enjoyed this fact. It was much more amusing and Z’ayr found it easier to befriend them. “I bet you two are a sight when you’re in action.” He mused out loud, picturing the two seducing some bandits and then doing a complete 180 and quickly taking them down.
“I don’t fit in with bronzeriders either. Straight! All of them! Can you imagine something more devastating? I think not.” Z’ayr huffed. The boys that he had liked back at the Hold would disappear and then visit with bronzes. It was a devastating thing. All the good looking ones only had eyes for the girls. "Not one was willing to experiment. So annoying!" He added with a slight pout.
He remembered overhearing a few times that G’hans dragon had turned into your stereotypical bronze character. Drudges were willing to dish on everything if you coaxed them into it, and they often knew the dirty details.

Andilay sputtered and then all out laughed, Rayn not too far behind. The things this bluerider said!!
"Yes! T-terrible thing being... being straight! Hah Haaah!!" Andilay couldn't help it, she had tears in her eyes from the mirth his statement brought. "Experiments.. pshhha!!!"
Rayn came to her senses before Andilay did. "No offense of course, but the way you put that was so funehey!!"

Z’ayr placed a hand on his mouth, a grimace turning into a sheepish smile. “Sorry.” He mumbled against his palm before letting his hand drop back to the table. “I guess I have a blunt way of talking.” He laughed apologetically.
He couldn’t help it. He had no problem with liking other guys, and his family had no problem with it either so he was never afraid to blurt out such statements. It lead to some awkward times sure, and every now and then he said the wrong thing to a homophobe. Even after a few black eyes he hadn’t learned his lesson. If someone didn’t like the way he was talking they could well…quite frankly, suck it. “I’m just saying. I bet if some of those bronzeriders experimented, they would be happier blokes.” He added with a grin.
He cast a look at G’han, “That doesn’t include you of course. You seem quite happy liking the girls.” He reached underneath the table and lightly patted Dinayth. “Wait, does that make me a hypocrite? Should I hook up with some girls?”

G'han laughed at Z'ayr's words. Truely he was a weyrling that was one of a kind. He could imagine Rhia having her hands full with this one. "I think that does", G'han responded to Z'ayr. "Maybe you should do a little experimenting yourself. Maybe you would be happier as well", G'han added, throwing Z'ayr's words back at him. G'han couldn't say that for certain, of course. But at the very least he could remind the boy that what he said could easily be reversed and applied on him.
Atleast it was good to know the boy thought G'han was exempt from this experimentation. "Yeah, I can't say I'd be happier experimenting with a guy. I'd probably get hit, then I'd hit back. Then I'd have to leave the poor guy in a blood bath. I really make it a point not to get into fights. It's usually not fair to the other person", G'han joked, and with a goofy smile that was truely G'han's, he shrugged his shoulders and held his hands in the air as if to say "what can I do?".
Well, G'han wasn't that concieted. But he definently had the humor. If a guy could beat him up, then good for him. That'd probably just give G'han the initiative to put more effort into his training. Since he had transferred to Telgar, he just wasn't as rigorous as he use to be. He kept his skills in check, but by now he wasn't into improving them. Dragonrider duties had taken more of his time and a fight, even with someone of his skill, would mean risking his dragon as well should things go truely bad. In a fight there was no way of predicting how truely terrible things could get.
