G'han glanced over to Andilay as she spoke up. When she had nothing left to say, G'han looked over to K'dan. "The hatching? Missed it. The feast was good, I think. I got pretty drunk and can't remember most of it. Morning after was pretty interesting though", G'han tried to give as much info as he could, but it was fairly limited. Even what he could tell, he kept some of the more intimate details to himself.
"The masquerade? That was very interesting. You may not know this, but I was in this...weird...almost-relationship...thingy", G'han struggled with words to try and find the best explanation for it,"...with a certain greenrider that was only here for a short while. I was dancing with this "green dragon" character and I was positive it was this girl. So I got a kiss out of her. Then I danced with this character "the brown dragonet", and we had an interesting conversation. Turns out my last dance was with the Weyrwoman and my kiss was with Akki! It was entertainingly awkward. I think that may have started this weird...thingy Akki and I have going on now. I mean, we had a weird relationship before. But I can't even explain this now", G'han admitted.
As Andilay rubbed G'han's shoulders, he gave an appreciative moan. His shoulder muscles always seemed to be tense and it had been so long since he had a girl to rub his shoulders. "You'll spoil me with these. These tense muscles will demand more of your attention if you don't watch it", G'han mockingly warned her as she continued to massage his shoulders. It didn't take long for G'han to become putty in her hands. The massage felt excellent.

K'dan nodded to both of them, listening intently to both stories. "I see. Seems you've changed a bit since last we met. Gathered quite the fan club of women, haven't we?", K'dan teased the bronzerider a bit. Seemed now that G'han and Rhia were no longer an item, the bronzerider was quite the ladies man. K'dan didn't really understand it himself. He knew G'han was a nice, okay kind of guy. Maybe he was kind of like him, except he took a different path.
Perhaps while K'dan was content with being by himself, G'han substituted the lacking relationship with more companionship and less attachments. Maybe it was because G'han was in a deeper relationship and one that had lasted longer than his. Maybe it was because they were just different people that took things different ways. Either way, K'dan and G'han each seemed to choose their own path.

Andilay listened to the goings on of the weyr, the gossip she had not heard that had happened before she had come to the place. It was interesting, this masquerade. She half wished she could have been there to dance and play with mens heads. She would have been... hmmm... the 'Scarlet Wher' Admin's Note:
Perhaps 'Dawn's Rays Dragon' Admin's Note:
Ooo, she kinda liked that second one. She chuckled lightly to herself.
So, she wasn't the only girl in G'han's life right now, it happened. She wasn't ready to settle either... there were other possibilities out there. If she got overly attached to the bronze rider she would have to kidnap him and force him to her feminine ways, but who really wanted that? She would see what happened when she got work, and her instincts said work was coming soon.
Andilay chuckled at his statement. "I don't mind spoiling you. Massages are easy to dish out, what you should worry about is the fact that you might get so addicted that I become indispensable."
"And I'm not part of a fan club. I'm a whore didn't you know?" She paused to let the statement sink in and then smiled. "Just kidding, love."

"Oh I don't know. I could always choose from among my female followers to replace you if I absolutely had to. But I prefer you to massage my shoulders", G'han responded to her. He leaned back against her as she massaged his shoulders, thoroughly enjoying the attention she was giving him.
"A whore? Really? Were you joking? Guess it didn't matter either way", G'han shot back yet again, all too amused with Andilay right now. "So I heard about your dazzling entrance. Kissing Akki's hand and getting smacked. That's a very her thing to do", G'han spoke of what he had heard about K'dan.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh yes, the masquerade was thrilling. Portraying someone other than myself? The Rogue was an amazing character I thought up. I never though I could be so...what's the word? Dashing? I never thought such words would come from my mouth", K'dan reminisced about his character and how he had fun at the masquerade. "But I really should have seen that coming from Akki", K'dan admitted.
Andilay took one hand away from the massaging duty and held it up. "Aha, but could they do it as well as I can? I've picked up the skill, as has Rayn, so that we could make sure our muscles never got too tense for work."
At his comment on her joking one she lightly smacked his head. "Yes, I was joking. I like to have men more comfortable with my bosom before I bed them, therefore it would take far to long for me to be a whore. If I was more promiscuous maybe people would call me a slut. But since I'm not, they don't." She shrugged, it was the truth. She didn't mind stating it.
She laughed. "She got you good eh? That woman entertains me."
"That's what I was hoping you'd say and that's why I'd rather you", G'han chuckled a bit. He tilted his head up and kissed Andilay's chin. He then returned his attention back to K'dan. "You here that? Rayn's good at this sort of thing too. You could get some of this kind of action as well. Can't pass up a good massage" G'han said to K'dan with a grin.
"I don't think it's hard to get a man comfortable with such a generous chest. Just show some skin and thrust his head in like you did me and that pretty much seals the deal with any straight man", G'han responded to her, while rubbing his head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
K'dan shifted a bit uncomfortably. A massage sounded nice, but he didn't know if he'd take her up on the offer. He quickly switched subject to Akki again. "Oh yes. Akki gets everyone pretty good. Well, alot of people anyway", K'dan responded to Andilay.

Andilay was a little surprised by the kiss on her chin, but smiled none the less. She kissed his hair in return, enjoying the smell of it. Sand soap and G'han... mmmmm. She rested a cheek on his head while still lazily massaging his shoulders and back. Even being lazy about it, there were ways to make things feel good, and she knew most of those ways.
She let out a low rumbley chuckle at his comment. "So, if I could make it as a whore, should I have charged you for all my services? Can't be giving my merchandise away for free now can I?"
"Luckily, she has yet to get me. I was there when she got G'han rather terribly well, but unfortunately, I was asleep with Gerenanth." She shrugged a little. "I'm sure I will not be able to escape her mischievousness- or her mine- for long."

"I've never heard of anyone escaping Akki. Ever", K'dan admitted with a mock frown. "Though I have been away for awhile. So you never know", he added. He was pretty sure no one evaded Akki's branch of humor. But with him being gone for so long, he wasn't sure of anything right now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Charge me? If we're taking that route, I should charge you. You do realize that you just got in good with one of the weyr's favorite gossip subjects? Your reputation will spread like wildfire. You should thank me, really", G'han teased her as she lazily massaged his shoulders.
There seemed to be some sort of different attitude with G'han as of late. Perhaps it was because of Andilay, but the bronzerider seemed to fit his role a bit better. He certainly seemed to have a bigger ego now. Though with G'han, it all seemed like one big joke. Maybe he was just mocking the sort of ego bronzeriders tend to get.
Andilay rolled that thought around her head for a bit. "No... you never now what may or may not happen. The future is a mysterious thing." The swordswoman shrugged.
Andilay's lips spread into an amused smile, her eyes closed as she nuzzled his hair. "Oh? Thank you Admin's Note:
I'm afraid such things in the rumor mill may actually deter my target employers. After all, who wants to hire a floozy to guard them? I certainly wouldn't, I'd think she'd leave me for the first piece of tail she found... leaving me alone and open for the next available blade to find my sweet spot. Fourth lumbar down, just to the left of the spine... the abdominal aorta." Andilay trailed her fingers down G'han's spine and stopped at the spot. "Here. It's a terrible thing, to be stabbed in the back. It's surprise, and unknowing, and then nothingness. You don't even know who killed you, just the certainty that suddenly, everything is over." She was silent a bit, as she lightly scratched G'han's lower back.
"But.. as far as social gatherings... I suppose I will be well thought of. Entertaining certainly, and desirable. But then, I've never been repulsive, just... imposing."
"Oh really? Now see, I'd hire a woman like that for obvious reasons", G'han teased her a bit more. He arched his back when she started scratching him lightly. "Just a little higher and you've got my sweet spot", G'han said as his eyes closed. There was always a certain spot on G'han's back that always seemed to itch. Coincidently, it was near his scar, so that might have had something to do with it.
"You'll be known as the girl that got the bronzerider. Though considering that morning, you'll probably be known as the one who got the bronzerider with Akki", he said, with a slight chuckle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
K'dan just sort of faded in the background for the moment while the two talked. "Wait. Akki and her? G'han, what have you been up to since I've been gone? You're certainly different from the G'han I remember before we went our separate ways", K'dan finally spoke up.

"Aha? Well, I wouldn't put it past you really..." She chuckled and shook her head when he made light of her comment. "Well then..." She scratched just a little higher, enjoying the way his body curved towards her. "I do aim to serve and please."
"Now, the gossips may see it that way, but in all truth of the matter, I never even saw another woman the whole time I was in your weyr, including the part where I was naked... mmmmm so naked. But anyways, I digress, the point being, the rumors paint you as a ladies man, a stringer of women, a man not satisfied with just one female companion, he must have two... or perhaps even three, who knows?" Andilay gestured vaguely with her unoccupied hand.

"And that you do", G'han responded to her. He gave a soft grunt to emphasize the point. G'han craned his neck to side glance at Andilay. "Maybe I am a ladies man. Maybe no one woman can satisfy me", he sounded like he was agreeing with what she was saying. Then he turned around to face the lake. "Or maybe not", he said simply.
He looked over to K'dan with a smile. "Well. Stuff happened. I changed. But it's not as bad as it sounds. So far I've managed to be with one woman at a time", he responded to the confused blue rider. G'han may have come off as a ladies man, but there was something more to it. It wasn't that one woman couldn't satisfy him. Maybe it was because he wasn't ready to settle down again so soon. Maybe it was because he didn't know who he wanted to settle down with.
Andilay was nice and all. But could he see himself settling with her? Could he see himself settling with anyone? Just another question he didn't feel like answering. Another question he'd get back to sometime later on down the line when it was alot easier to answer.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh. I see", K'dan answered simply. He was starting to feel like a third wheel. By now he was debating if he should come up with some excuse and leave.
Andilay took a big breath, and let it out in a long sighing 'hmmmmmm'. She rested her head on top of G'han's, her arms dangling lightly over his shoulder as she looked vaguely at the horizon. When she spoke, her head bobbed lightly, her jaw movements making her head go up, since it couldn't go down. "What I think, is that you are unsure of what it is you truly want. And while that is a natural thing, you shouldn't allow your thoughts to be ruled by indecision for long. If you hesitate on a choice, whose answer is important, and take your time, sometimes the choice will be made for you. If this is so, it may not be the choice that you truly wanted. More often then not, there are more forces working on a single pawn then just the one. This is a vast world, my dear. We just have the privivlige to live in it. And life... has it's choices." With that she shrugged and straightened, her hands leaving a caress as they retreated with her body. Standing on her own she looked out at the water. "And sometimes they are very hard."
Andilay shifted from one foot to the other, a small shiver ran down her spine as the wind blew across her body, evaporating some of the damp that still clung to her skin. She looked to K'dan and gave him a slight bow of the head. "It was nice meeting you K'dan." She then smiled at G'han "... I'll see you around." With that she turned and ran into the water, after a few sloshing steps, when the water was at her hips, she dove under. I wonder where my shiny friend went to... Admin's Note:
She smiled.
G'han listened as Andilay spoke her mind, willingly accepting her input. She was right about him, to some degree anyway perhaps. But maybe for G'han, aditting he was unsure was a hard thing. He didn't really care for hard choices right now. For now it was all about having fun. That's what life was about anyway, right? Atleast to G'han that's what it was all about, for now.
G'han grinned as Andilay went back into the water. He leaned over to K'dan, the grin still there. "Can't really argue with that I suppose", he said in an amused tone then shifted back to sit upright.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
K'dan watched as Andilay walked off after her little speech then looked over to G'han who was addressing him. "I guess not" he agreed simply. He gave a few moments of silence before speaking up again. "Seems to me we've both got the same problem. We're just approaching it from two different angles", K'dan suggested. He was quite convinced that's what was going on.
